A/N Set in a happier AU where Lucius is actually happy to have his son married to Harry Potter and takes great delight in his grandchildren, especially little Lily.

"Mother?" Draco asked Narcissa as she passed by while he was peering into the drawing room at Malfoy Manor. "What is he doing?"
Narcissa peeked in the door and they watched Lucius pointing his wand at Lily.
"Wingardium leviosa," Lucius said with a swish and flick of his wand and Lily rose gracefully up into the air. "'I can show you the world'." Lucius sang to Lily as she zoomed around the room giggling.
"They're playing Aladdin," Narcissa said.
"What?" Draco asked, goggling at his mother.
"You know that Lily's favourite cartoon is Aladdin. Well, they're playing Aladdin, again," Narcissa said, rolling her eyes.
"I'm sorry mother. I don't think I have heard you correctly," Draco said, giving his head a shake, sure that he had misheard something.
"They like to re-enact their favourite parts of the film. Mostly any bit where Lily gets to fly around."
"Father is willingly acting out bits from a Muggle story? Not just any Muggle story; a Muggle story that was made into a cartoon film? Am I hearing you correctly mother?" Draco was still certain that he was missing some vital piece of information somewhere.
"That's correct," Narcissa said, nodding, a slight smile on her lips.
"And is he singing the entire song to her?"
"'Don't you dare close your eyes'," they heard Lucius sing in response to Lily's singing.
Narcissa listened before answering, "Yes he is."
"How in the name of Slytherin does father even know what to do? Let alone the words?"
"They've watched the film umpteen times. They watch it together whenever she's here."
"Now that I must have heard wrong! Father has watched a Muggle movie?"
"Many times," Narcissa smiled.
"Did I step through some magical portal into an alternative universe?"
"Many years ago, when you brought home Harry Potter as your boyfriend," Narcissa smirked.
"What? Oh, ha ha," Draco said dryly.

Narcissa laughed as she made her way up the stairs and Draco stood in disbelief watching his father as he continued to re-enact Lily's favourite bits of her most favourite film. Draco was quite certain that he must be having some sort of vivid dream and that he would soon wake up. His Pureblood father who had always told him growing up that Muggles were inferior and they should not have anything to do with anything Muggle, had willingly watched a Muggle contraption just to please his beloved granddaughter. Not only that, but he actually seemed to be enjoying himself, if his re-enactment of 'You've never had a Friend Like Me' was anything to go by. The front door to the Manor opened and Harry came in.
"Harry, have you seen this?" Draco said beckoning Harry to join him.
"Seen what?" Harry asked, joining Draco.
"That!" Draco said pointing towards the Drawing Room. Harry peeked in.
"Aw they're playing Aladdin again," Harry smiled, "But what am I meant to be looking at?"
"Wingardium leviosa," Lucius could be heard saying again and Lily shrieked with laughter again.
"My father," Draco said. "Wait, what do you mean again? You mean you've seen them do this before?"
"Loads of times," Harry said.
"Why has no-one ever told me?"
"I assumed you knew," Harry said, shrugging. "It's cute, isn't it? He absolutely dotes on her."
"Are we sure my father hasn't been replaced with someone using Polyjuice Potion?"
Harry chuckled and gave Draco a kiss.

Lucius and Lily finally collapsed onto one of the settees an hour later. Lily was sitting on top of Lucius, bouncing up and down with excitement.
"Grandad," Lily said. "Make me fly like Iago again please?"
"Again?" Lucius grinned. "We just did Iago and the Genie."
"Oh! Then make me zoom about like magic carpet again."
"Whatever my Princess wants," Lucius chuckled, raising his wand. "Wingardium leviosa," he said with a swish and flick of his wand.
Lily zoomed up into the air and Lucius directed her all around the Drawing Room doing loop-the-loops.
"Quick grandad," Lily shrieked in delight, "we've got to get out of the Cave of Wonders before it shuts." Lily came zooming out the Drawing Room door, Lucius close behind, his wand carefully pointed at her. She zoomed up the stairs to the first floor, Lucius following along, taking the stairs two at a time. Lucius stopped at the top of the stairs as he zoomed Lily around the upstairs landing before she dropped over the bannister plummeting back down the staircase, she did a little loop-the-loop at the bottom. Viktor Krum would have been impressed with the agility with which Lucius zoomed his granddaughter around.
"Again, grandad," Lily called out as Narcissa, Harry and Draco appeared out of the first-floor parlour. They watched as Lucius zoomed her upstairs once more and dropped her over the bannister.
"In the name of Slytherin," Draco gasped as he watched his daughter drop over the edge, shrieking with delight as she did a big loop.
"Really Lucius," Narcissa admonished him as Harry roared with laughter and Draco looked close to fainting.
Lucius grinned as he zoomed Lily upstairs and into Harry's arms.

"Was that fun, princess?" Harry asked his daughter.
"The best fun," Lily giggled. "What's wrong with daddy?" Lily asked, looking at Draco, who had turned a funny grey colour.
"Ah, daddy thinks grandads' game with you was a little bit dangerous," Harry smirked at his husband.
"Is it any wonder?" Draco exclaimed.
"We've done it loads daddy!" Lily said as though there could be nothing safer in the whole world. "I wish I could have a real flying carpet like Aladdin though," Lily lamented.
"You know, Princess," Lucius said, looking thoughtful. "I think there might be an old Axminster carpet in the loft. It belonged to my grandfather. I'm sure it's still there."
"Father! They aren't legal. They're considered a Muggle artefact," Draco admonished.
"Pfft," Lucius dismissed Draco's concerns. "It's not like we're going to use it to travel with. It's just for our games."

Half an hour later Lucius had managed to find the old Axminster flying carpet from the loft and he and Lily were out in the grounds of Malfoy Manor. Lily and Lucius were sitting on the dusty old carpet but nothing was happening. Draco was secretly delighted that the dusty old carpet wouldn't fly.
"Why won't it go, granddad?" Lily asked sadly.
"Hmm…maybe the magic has worn off," Lucius said. "Never mind. I can still make it go. Wingardium leviosa," Lucius said with yet another swish and flick of his wand.
Slowly and carefully the carpet rose a few feet into the air. Aiming his wand, Lucius carefully directed the carpet to fly around the grounds.
"Higher, grandad, higher," Lily screamed in delight as the carpet shuddered violently. Next second, the magic in the carpet, which had been dormant for years, sprang to life.
The carpet was flying again without the need for Lucius' magic. Directing the carpet upwards Lucius and Lily flew high into the air. Zooming through the air and diving sharply, Lucius and Lily sang their hearts out.
"'I can show you the world'"
"Great Salazars Serpent," Narcissa and Draco gasped as they watched the carpet do a loop-the-loop fifty feet in the air. Lucius and Lily laughing with delight; Harry laughing along with them at their delight.
"Oh Drac, do lighten up," Harry said. "She's fine."
"Reckless. He's a great reckless oaf and you're no better!" Draco told Harry, stomping back towards the Manor. "Utterly reckless! No care for what it's doing to me. Absolutely barking mad, both of you…"
Harry laughed even harder as Draco's continued muttering grew fainter and fainter.
