I don't even know where to begin, I don't get how some kids just disappeared in some babyish pizzeria from thin air. I guess I need to explain some things.
It was one of my mom's friends' kid birthday parties, and it was held at a pizzeria, Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria. The restaurant consists of a singing brown bear named Freddy Fazbearand his band, a purple bunny guitarist named Bonnie, a yellow chicken (though I thought it was a duck) named Chica and her cupcake Carl, a red pirate fox named Foxy, and a really strange figure that gives gifts to the kids named the Puppet. I never really liked that place. To be honest, the animatronics look weird, especially that Puppet figure; something about it gives me the creeps. The music, on the other hand, was just too cheesy, and I'm sure it was for kids around Manny's age or with the mind of a baby like my friend Rowley.
Mum thought it would be nice if we came too, I was reluctant to go, but mom said it would also be a nice family outing too, Even though I didn't, I still went anyway. When we got to the place, there were a lot of kids eating that greasy food, playing arcade games, or watching the animatronics sing. Freddy looks the creepiest, though.
As we settled in with the party, the table it was at was thankfully not too close to the stage, meaning I didn't have to hear the band's annoying robotic voices, but that trashy song was playing, so most kids at the party were cheering on, especially Manny. Those high-pitched voices were such earworms, that the birthday kid mom asked them to be closer to the stage (until the main food arrives) so they wouldn't annoy anyone that was eating their pizza. Most of the kids did so, including Manny, which was a mistake, but I got to that later.
Mum was watching Manny (like most of the adults on the table watching their kids) even though it was a bit far, dad was chatting with his boss on his phone, and Roderick was asleep in his chair, but I don't blame him, the party was getting too boring.I saw a game and asked mom to buy me tokens, she quickly did so.
I spent the rest of the 20 minutes playing some Pac-Man, All Ninjas Attack and Donkey Kong, and I admit, as much as I hate the place, the arcade was pretty fun. So my time here wasn't too bad either, plus I did get some tickets, but not much to buy a proper prize, so I bought a simple snack called Meat Bites, though they taste more saucy than meaty. I decided to go back to the table since I ran out of tokens, and I was getting hungry.
When I did, the show and music was finally over but mum had a very panic expression on her face, saying that Manny didn't return to the table unlike the other kids (who were thankfully not cheering and now just eating or drinking) Dad try to calm her down and assured her that Manny is just somewhere around the pizzeria. Her friend The other adults asked some of the guestsus, including dad and me , to look for him. Dad told me to look in the hallways and the prize corner while he goes to the bathrooms and the game area.
As I did so, there were no signs of Manny anywhere in the main hall, but I saw a door in the corner saying 'Parts and Services' On the sign, the bottom read 'Employees Only!' but I swear, when I got closer, I smelled a very bad scent coming from the inside, I can't describe it but it was burning my nose! So I didn't want to see the source, but if I'm being honest, it smells like dead flesh, though I think it's just me. This place really needs to be cleaned up.
I then went to the prize corner, where that figure was, the Puppet. While there were other pepple on here, I didn't want to stay there forever because I swear that black-and-white thing was looking at me with that smile! Even though it was handing out gifts to other kids, I was right, it was looking at me, I need to get put.
But I swear, for a brief second, it whispered., not loud enough for anyone to hear but enough for me. You can't.
That was just creepy, I want to go home now, Manny or no Manny, I didn't care. When I got back to the table, I saw mom and dad (who returned) talking to a day guard. I noticed there were other parents talking to him, when I was told that Manny wasn't the only one missing, 4 other kids were missing too!
I was also told that one of the kids saw Manny talking to some Yellow Bonnie while in the crowd of cheering kids, which only made mum panicked more. Eventually, after 10 mins later, the owner of the Pizzeria went on stage. He announced that the pizzeria will be closed early due to the lost 5 kids, and with the police being called. Because of that, the party ended early and me, causing me, mum, dad and Roderick had to have to go home, without Manny.
Like I care.
