As they got closer to the museum, Mirage finally revealed what he would transform into. A garbage truck. Saphira was not expecting that, however, it made the most sense. After all, the garbage runs are done at night, and Saphira could pass for a truck driver. But upon realizing that, she adjusted her outfit and hair to try and disguise herself as best as she could, because she didn't want to bring suspicion to them. Mirage was amused that Saphira would even bother doing that, but she stated that not looking like she worked for the garbage company would likely result in trouble. Which he understood, but he was still amused.

Upon arriving at the museum gates, Saphira was a tad nervous, because things were really getting real at this point. She took deep breaths to keep herself as relaxed as possible, knowing that any bad sign might give away suspicion. She looked at the guard who was in the small building keeping watch over the entry to the museum, and he was watching the truck pull up to the gate. Saphira didn't make eye contact with him just yet until Mirage stopped in front of the gate.

She glanced at the man and gave a polite wave before the guard opened the gate. She sighed in relief after Mirage rolled forward and began to drive up the path towards the museum. She drummed her fingers on the steering wheel nervously, not knowing how things were going to go. "At least we go through the easy part." Saphira sighed a little as she glanced around before looking ahead. She looked at the ring for a moment. "I can take this thing off, can't I?"

"Yeah, it will come off easily. Otherwise, if you're in trouble, even I won't be able to hear you." Saphira nodded and removed the disc from the ring, though she did not know where to put it. Though Mirage opened his glove box and she placed it in there. "Easy part over, hopefully there will be an easy way for you to get in. The building being locked up and all, hopefully they don't have an alarm that will go off."

"It probably will, which is why it will be the hard part. And police will get here very quickly as well." Saphira was not looking forward to it as well. She glanced at the sky, wishing that she could see. "Man…I wish I could see their light you guys are talking about. It is bothering me to no end that I can't see it."

"I know, and I fully understand your curiosity. But hey, you can't see it, and no other human can see it. That's the most important thing, in my opinion." She nodded in agreement, though Saphira began to have a bad feeling in her gut. She didn't know why, but she was starting to feel rather uneasy about this, and she swallowed nervously. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She looked at the dash in surprise. Mirage had turned his holoform off when he transformed in the garbage truck, so she could really only look at the dash at the moment. "You seem nervous and tense. There is no shame in backing out. We can figure out another way to get the key."

She shook her head quickly. "I am okay, Mirage. It's a little late to go back now, we are already halfway there…to be honest." She smiled and looked at the museum as the approached it slowly. "Um…but…I don't want to say it…uh, but I have a bad feeling."

"A bad feeling? Don't be starting that now! I don't like that." She smiled apologetically, even though she couldn't shake the feeling. "Bad feelings should only happen if there is actual danger, Saphira. You having a bad feeling could just be nervousness."

"Yeah…I guess you are right." Saphira didn't know why she had a bad feeling, because it seemed silly to her as well. But that didn't really matter. "I have no reason to feel it, so you are probably right, Mirage." She chuckled a little as she tried to relax. "Maybe it's because I am expecting to get caught in the museum…"

"Ah…that makes sense…but you shouldn't expect it. That's not a good thing, Saphira. You should expect to slip in and out without getting into trouble." Mirage's enthusiasm didn't really help much, as she couldn't shake the feeling. "Look, if you get into trouble, all you gotta do is holler for help."

"You know we can't really interfere, Mirage," Arcee commented through the com link bluntly. "I don't wish to see Saphira in handcuffs either, but helping would result in dropping our disguise. And I don't particularly want humans to be chasing us all around the world before we can go home."

"Yeah, but this is our girl. Surely we can bend the rules just a little bit for her." Saphira was curious to know that too, because she would assume that they would bend the rules, given their relationship. "She's part of our family right now, Arcee. So she should be given the same respect and concern as the rest of us."

"Mirage is right, Arcee." Optimus's confirmation that Mirage is right made Saphira smile a little, and she was unsurprised he would feel that way. "Normally, I would agree with you. But Saphira is more than just a human among us. She is family." But not family enough to remain. "If she runs into trouble, I will be the one to help her. You three will only get yourselves caught."

"But you'll be dropping your mask!" Bumblebee exclaimed in shock. "You would let yourself be exposed for Saphira?"

"Yes, I would. Because we cannot allow her to fall for something that belongs to us. It would be irresponsible. Saphira…" Saphira listened intently as Optimus addressed her. "I believe you will be okay. I do not believe you will have a huge amount of trouble once you get inside. But do not delay. Once you get into the high security area, find the key and get out."

"I understand, Optimus. I have an idea of where it is, but I hope it is still there." That was a concern Saphira had, because the sculpture could have been moved from the place she saw it last. She hoped that the key was in the area at least. "That will make it much easier and faster for me to get it, and bring it out to you."

"We can only for that to be a possibility, Saphira. But I am sure you will find it. I believe it will not take long."

At least you believe that I can do it, Optimus. I am still not sure. And I can't shake this bad feeling…so…hopefully it will be easy…

Mirage drove up to the parking lot so Saphira could get out. She would have thought he would park near the garbage bins to make it less suspicious, but it was easier to get to the front this way. So it didn't really matter which place he would park. When he did park, Saphira cautiously climbed out and shivered. The rain had stopped, but the air was cold, and she folded her arms to keep herself as warm as possible.

She glanced around nervously for a moment and began making her way across the grass to the path leading up to the entrance of the museum. So far, she couldn't see anyone. But it was hard to know. And as the museum had large windows, anyone could see her pretty easily. Especially with the lights on in the front garden, so she wasn't exactly able to sneak up to the front door and enter it. But she hoped no one was looking.

She glanced at the fountain for a brief moment as she reached the path, and continued walking briskly up the path towards the front door. She really did not know what she was going to do once she reached the door, but she would at least try to see if it was unlocked. Unlikely, but she hoped that it would be. But that bad feeling she had made her very uneasy, even though nothing has really happened to make her feel that way.

Until the power went out suddenly. She stopped in her tracks as soon as the power went off, and the fountains stopped functioning. She felt the bad feeling grow and she could not help but glance around suspiciously, as it was odd timing that the power went out. "Um…did one of you guys cause a power surge or something?"

"Nope, we did not," Mirage responded bluntly. "Though be on alert. A little strange that the power went out. Maybe that bad feeling is right after all."

Saphira let out a single chuckle, even though it was not an amused laugh. It was forced chuckle. "I hope not…because this is kind of the start of any horror film as well…" She shivered, even though she wasn't sure if it was her nervousness or cold, but that didn't matter. "Well…the doors at least be unlocked and the cameras will be down. So I guess that is kind of a good thing."

"Be careful, Saphira," Optimus warned the girl gently. Saphira did not know where Optimus and the other two were watching from, but he must have seen the power outage too. "It is strange that the lights have gone out right now. Be vigilant. Call out if you need help."

"I will, Optimus." She shivered again, listening to the rustling of the trees. "I am…getting a bit scared now…but I'll keep going."

Saphira honestly would have preferred if the lights remained on, given that she was now feeling more nervous than she had been before. She didn't want to let the autobots down though as she ran to the front doors. She rubbed her hands together nervously as she approached them and reached for the handle to test them. She didn't know if they were unlocked of not, but as she pulled the door gently, she felt a give. She was surprised, because she expected it to be locked. But it was unlocked.

Maybe they think the security at the gate is all they need…

Saphira didn't care as she opened the door slowly and closed it carefully behind her. She did not want it to slam and echo through the whole building, because she would certainly alert guards if she did. She glanced at a camera, and it was definitely off. The light was off, and she was relieved. She looked around her surroundings again while waiting for her eyes to adjust to the darkness before making her way carefully through the museum to the same entry she had been shown to by Elena the previous day.

I feel bad that I am doing this…even though that key doesn't belong to the museum. But I wonder if someone tampered with it, and that is why the sculpture was broken. That would logically make the most sense.

Saphira tiptoed through the museum, passing by the exhibits, until she came to the door that she had gone into before. She hoped with the power outage that the door was unlocked. And it was. She was relieved. She opened it carefully and stepped inside, closing it behind her. She did pause to listen for any noise, but she heard nothing. So far so good. She began to climb up the stairs slowly and quietly, not knowing if someone was still here.

As she reached the floor that she had been on before, she looked towards the desk that the sculpture had been sitting on the day before, but it was not there. She saw no sign of the key either. She walked over to it to look over in case it was there, but it wasn't. It had been moved. She sighed softly, and tiptoed through the lab, knowing she would have to keep her hands to herself and not break anything.

We are only here for the Transwarp Key…I don't need to take anything else that is here…it doesn't belong to me, and the autobots won't really appreciate it if I steal something while doing this as well.

There were various interesting items up here, she could not deny that. The workers here clearly always had something to do here, and that was a good thing. Saphira knew she wouldn't be able to understand, unless she went and did a degree in archaeology. But that wasn't a field she was interested in. She was happy to just admire their work from a distance, and to look at the different artifacts that she walked by out of curiosity, while searching for the key.

After a few minutes, she was getting nervous, since she has seen no evidence or clue as to where the key might be. It certainly has been moved somewhere else, and she had no idea where. She did find this area was very big though. There was so many materials in here, it seemed that the larger space was needed. Saphira knew it was here somewhere, though she wished she did have some way to detect it. After all, she was trying to find it.

She froze as she heard the sound of movement. It took her a moment to realize that someone was gathering items together. They were likely nervous because of the lights being out, and she could hear them muttering to themselves. She didn't hear them walking to the door, so that was good. Saphira tiptoed towards the door, not knowing who she was going to find in there, but she had to get inside to see if the key was in there.

She looked around her surroundings again for a moment before she walked up to the door and opened it, only for her to scream as she almost ran into the person who was in the room. And it was Elena! She felt backwards onto the floor. "Woah! Back up!" Elena frowned at the girl as she got back to her feet. "Back up!"

"Are you okay?" Saphira asked Elena with a concerned expression, and the woman froze for a moment as she realized who it was. "Hi…again…" She gave an awkward wave. "Um…I didn't think anyone would be in here." She glanced down at Elena's hands and saw she was holding the key. "Ah…that's it."

Elena looked down at the key for a moment, and looked back up at Saphira with a frown. "So is that why you found those artifacts and brought them to the museum?" Saphira blinked and looked at Elena in surprise as her sudden accusation. "So that you could steal from us? That is real low, Saphira."

"Uh, n-no, I…I didn't…I did not come here to steal. I came…" Saphira knew she needed a good reason to try and convince this woman that she needed the key. "I came because that…" Saphira pointed at the crystal in Elena's hands. "Belongs to a tribe in Peru. That sculpture you had, that came from that didn't it?" Elena widened her eyes in surprise, not realizing that Saphira knew a lot about it. "I wasn't sure at first, but you uncovered it now, and it is imperative it returns to the rightful owners."

Elena stared at Saphira, still not knowing if she should believe her. "I am having a hard time believing you right now. Why did you not say anything yesterday?" Saphira opened her mouth to respond, but she didn't say anything, as she didn't know what to say. "Because that kind of sounds like a lie. And you expect me to believe you?" Saphira shrugged and looked around nervously, as she didn't know how much time she wanted to waste. "Security!"

Saphira jumped when Elena screamed and she shook her head, placing her index finger on her lips to shush her. "Please, you don't need to do that. I am not here to hurt anyone, I just need that thing. That crystal is meant for a tribe, and I need to take it." Elena looked around, probably thinking on how to get out of here. "Look, I am sorry that I am doing this, I don't want to, but I don't want to…"

"Shut up!" Elena turned to run to try and get around one of the tables. Saphira shifted quickly to block her. "If you aren't here to hurt me, then please get out of my way. I can't give this to you, because you're a thief!"

"I am no thief! That doesn't belong to you or me anyway, so I am not stealing, because I am returning it to its rightful owners!" Saphira huffed loudly in slightly irritation. "If anything, the museum are the thieves." Elena gave her a look of disbelief. "Of course it is. Who told you that you could take that and keep it? I doubt the people who carved the sculpture around the crystal wanted to give it away freely."

"That's ridiculous…" Elena shook her head and looked at the door. "Look, please move. I will not report you, just move…"

"I can't do that." Saphira bit her lower lip as she was getting more nervous. "If you hand that over, I'll let you go, and the both of us can walk away unharmed…" Elena tensed as she prepared to run. "No, no, no! Please, please believe me. I am not here to steal…"

"And I suppose you're the reason the lights are out too, huh?"

Saphira stared at the woman in disbelief and frowned. "Really?" She sighed and shook her head. "No, I am not that good with wires and stuff, and I wouldn't even know where the breaker is for a building this size. Though I presume it is actually on the inside somewhere. But honestly…" Saphira stepped forward, and Elena stepped back with a loud gasp. "Look, if I wanted to hurt you, wouldn't I have done it already? Do I look like some crazy person with a big knife?"

"Well…no…" Elena agreed that Saphira did not look crazy or angry, but she was nervous, which was making her nervous. "But you still can't have this, and you need to leave." Saphira sighed as she seemed to not know what to do for a moment. Elena stepped forward before running to the door. "Now if you just…" Saphira ran to block her, just as Elena slapped her across the face, making Saphira yelp in surprise and look at her with wide eyes. "I told you! Stay away from me!"

"I wasn't even going to attack you!" Saphira clenched her hands and frowned at her. "Okay…" She shook her head and stepped towards Elena. "I don't really have a choice, so please stop being difficult and give me this thing, so I can take it to its appropriate owner." Elena tried to run, but Saphira grabbed the key and tried to take it from her. "Please, I really don't want to damage it. It doesn't belong to us."

"You keep saying that, and I don't believe you!" Elena yanked on the key, trying to pull it from Saphira's hand. "Let go!"

"HEY!" Saphira yelped, turning and grimacing to see a flashlight shining at her and Elena. It appeared to be a security guard. "Hey, hey! What's going on here?! Don't move!" The man glanced between Saphira and Elena suspiciously, glaring at the two of them.

Elena was relieved, and yanked the key from Saphira's hands, as the girl had been distracted by the security guard. Saphira didn't like it, because she now likely would need to call for the autobots. "Man! It's about time you showed up!"

Saphira glanced at the woman with a raised eyebrow. The man looked at Elena angrily. "You aren't even supposed to be here, Elena! So I am suspicious of the both of you with that piece of museum property."

Elena was flabbergasted that the guard would say that to her and she shook her head. "I was doing some extra research for Jillian, that is why I am here after hours." She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Look, this girl here is the one you need to be mad at…" Saphira rolled her eyes as well and folded her arms. "Because she is the one who came yesterday with the missing items, and got the reward for it. Now she's back, looking for more to take, and probably to return for cash as well. So really…" Elena walked towards the guard who tensed. "Relax, Jake, I am not going to…"

Just as Elena was about to finish the sentence, there was a sound outside the museum. The security guard turned to look at the window, and Saphira leaned to see what it was until there was a sudden explosion. Saphira screamed as the force of the explosion sent everyone flying, overturning several tables and damaging the walls and ceiling of the room. Saphira grunts as she lands on the other side of a table and her ears were ringing from the loud sound.

She took deep breaths and sat up slowly, making sure she wasn't hurt. By some miracle, she had not been seriously injured by the blast, she only had some bruises on her back, and she stood up slowly. She looked at the window in shock. Smoke was still rising, and there was still metal sticking out there was red with the heat of the blast. Fire was burning on the woodened panels of the destroyed wall. She had no idea what had shot at the window, and she almost thought it was the autobots. But this seemed not to be them, as she knew that they would not do anything rash.

She quickly glanced around and saw that the poor security guard was laying against the wall, and he was dead. He had a massive blast wound to his chest, and she grimaced as she did not like seeing that. She looked around for Elena, and she found the woman laying between two desks, and she had been knocked out. Though Saphira did check to make sure she was alive, and she could feel a heartbeat when she checked.

Phew…I certainly did not want to be the reason lives were lost. Sorry, Elena…but I did try to warn you that I need this…

Saphira grabbed the key from Elena's hands and stood up, hearing footsteps approaching the museum. She walked around the desks and approached the hole, peering out and widening her eyes in shock. Three Cybertronian beings stood before her. Though one seemed to have been flying, as it landed beside the largest of the three beings as they stare back at her. Saphira shuddered, wishing that her bad feeling was not true.

"Um…O-Optimus…"

"Are you okay, Saphira?!" Optimus asked her in a worried tone. "The beacon from the key is gone! And we heard that explosion! What is happening?"

"I-I am not sure…but…maybe these guys are decepticons…" Saphira did not know if they were or not, but she was already feeling terrified as she gazed at the three Cybertronians who were in front of her right now. "Though I am not sure…but I hope you get here quickly, because they just blasted a hole in the front of museum here."

"No kidding!" Mirage added in shock. "I am looking at these ugly mugs right now! This is company we did not invite at all!"

Saphira took a step back from the window, and widened her eyes as she saw two, smaller Cybertronians seemingly crawl out from the back of the large Cybertronian. She assumed that he was the leader, though she was not sure. However, he was giving orders to the two creatures that had crawled out of his back, and they jump down to the ground and began running towards the museum. And they ran on all fours, though as they galloped along the ground, their strides seemed to be extended as they run towards her.

Saphira shrieked as she turned and ran out of the room, wanting to get out of the museum as soon as possible. "Optimus! I don't know who these guys are, but they just sent some smaller pets after me! I don't know when they will get in the museum, but I think they are after the key. Somehow, they knew it was here! AAHHH!" She shrieked as more blasts were shot at the museum, and she covered the back of her head with her hands. "Shit! They're shooting at the building!"

"We are on our way, Saphira. Keep running!" Optimus sounded very worried and disturbed by what was happening right now. "Mirage, do what you can to distract them and give us time to get there."

Saphira did not know how much Mirage could do to the bots right now, but he was all she had. Especially as she began to run down the stairs. The blasts to the building stopped, so she assumed that Mirage had distracted them, and she hoped for that. But she knew she would likely meet up with the smaller critters that had been summoned and sent in after her. Saphira really did not want to deal with them, but she had no choice.

Could this day get any worse?
