BAE: Beautiful and Evil – One More Breath
Sasha tries to save her marriage but as rumours of Bianca Belair's return start to increase, Sasha finds it hard to get Seth's full attention and lead BAE. Charlotte reminds Becky that she cares about Sasha and Alexa Bliss and Bayley try to maintain the peace as the Road to Wrestlemania gets Rocky for the God Girls.
Chapter Four – Hurry Up and Change!
Wrestlemania press conference, Los Angeles, CA
Roman looked over at Montez Ford and BAEley as the Wrestlemania press conference came to an end. The Tribal Chief had tried his best to stay in character but it was hard to do so, when he was so worried about Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks. The God Girls told him what happened in Aruba and that Sasha was now fighting to keep her marriage, while all accounts were that the rumours about Seth and Bianca was more than just a hashtag started by Becky Lynch. Now, Roman didn't know how to separate fact from fiction and as a locker room leader, he had to stand with Montez Ford against anyone that would threaten his marriage. But he didn't know how to do that live from Los Angeles, California at a Wrestlemania press conference.
"I know how it feels to be forgiven Montez," Roman said from across the conference table. "I cheated on my wife and she took me back. If you fight for your wife, she'll fight for you. Don't give up on her, when Bianca comes back, she's coming back for her man and that man is you, not Seth Rollins or anyone else,"
Montez Ford laughed, "You sure are soft for a Tribal Chief, maybe that's why it'll be so easy for me to take that World title from you at Wrestlemania. I suggest you stay out of my business or I'm gonna handle yours in front of the whole world and the Head of the Table will be at the Bottom of my Foot,"
Roman stood to his feet and raised his title high in the air while the fans chanted his name, "I meant what I said but if after all this, the only thing you want to get back is this Championship, then you've already lost and I've already won. See, I know what's really important in life and it ain't this Title, it's the people in your life who love you no matter what. That's what the Bloodline is all about, what's BAE about?"
"You'll find out what BAE's all about at Wrestlemania," Montez Ford said and he pushed Roman back onto the Bloodline while BAEley laughed at them.
The fans loved it and as the press conference drew to a close the buzz for Wrestlemania got louder and clips of Montez Ford shoving Roman Reigns went viral.
"That was amazing," Sasha Banks said to Tez and Bayley and they noticed a wet streak on Sasha's cheek. She had been crying but she was trying to hide it under her large black Gucci shades. "Bayley you really are doing a good job as a stand-in for Rhea and Tez, you are on fire,"
"Are you alright?" Bayley asked Sasha as the crowds filed out and the wrestlers headed back to their much less public lives.
Sasha shook her head trying not to cry again, "Seth didn't come home last night, he stayed in New York City,"
Montez Ford hugged Sasha but he was seething on the inside. "I tried to get him to go home Sasha but he wouldn't leave. Now Perfection wants to see him, I don't know what his deal is but I'm doing everything I can to help you both with your marriage," he said and Sasha nodded.
"He's in Florida with the God Girls, but he said he's coming back to California to see me today," Sasha said wiping the tears from her face and Tez and Bayley took her home while Beth Hardy looked on. The CEO of WWE could see that her cousin was in pain and she knew for a fact that Seth Rollins was the cause of it and he had to be punished.
"Roman, that was a great promo and I want to hear more of that going into Wrestlemania," Beth said to the Tribal Chief as the Bloodline got into their limo. "Have you talked to Seth Rollins about this whole thing between him and Bianca?"
"No, I'd rather not get involved. I just needed Tez to know that I'm on his side on this. I'm pro marriage and I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't stand up for him and for Sasha. Marriage is hard but good friends make it easier," Roman said and Beth nodded.
"I didn't realise you and 'Tez were so close," she said. "Just how close are you two?"
"Close enough to steal the show at Wrestlemania," Roman replied with a confident grin. "Before BAE, 'Tez was a good guy but I knew that Seth and the God Girls was going to be hard for him to deal with. There are few men on this planet that can look the other way while their wife hangs out with Seth Rollins. I know Seth means well but he has this habit of falling in love with women that he's supposed to be friends with. I doubt Bianca loves him that way but after everything 'Tez has put her through and her being in a coma for so long, it might be harder for her to rebuild her marriage with Seth right there,"
"So, it would be easier for her to connect with Seth, who came to visit her everyday, than her husband, who never came to visit her because of the BAE storyline," Beth Hardy said and Roman nodded.
"She's a human being and when humans are hurting, we can do some pretty dumb things, like sleeping with another man instead of the one you're married to," Roman said and he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "I just pray to God that won't happen,"
Beth Hardy nodded, "Seth and Bianca would be a terrible couple so I wouldn't worry about that. Sasha is the only woman for Seth and the sooner he realises that the better," she said and Roman nodded.
"Man it feels good to be on the same page for once," he said and he shook Beth Hardy's hand before leaving with the Bloodline for the airport. Just as the Tribal Chief was leaving, the Rock was returning and on landing he heard that the press conference had been a huge success.
The Rock decided to go see Sasha taking Carmelo Hayes and Gigi Dolan with him to congratulate her but what he found when he arrived at the Rollins was not worth celebrating.
The Rollins Household
"Why didn't you come home last night Seth?!" Sasha yelled at Seth Rollins.
"I needed to stay in New York for another day, what's the big deal?" Seth argued.
"I wanted you at the press conference with me," Sasha replied and Seth sat on the chair around the kitchen island while Bayley tried to make some herbal tea for Sasha.
"I didn't want to go to the press conference, I thought 'Tez and I might get into another argument and I didn't want that to spoil things for you and the rest of BAE," Seth said.
"Things wouldn't be spoiled if you would just commit to our marriage Seth. Come home when you're supposed to and spend time with me like you're supposed to, stop doing stupid God Girl crap and spend time with your family. I think 'Tez would be okay with that," Sasha snapped and 'Tez nodded from the other side of the island.
"I sure would, but is Seth Rollins capable of keeping his eyes on his own woman," Tez said and Seth sighed.
"See, this is why I wanted to stay in New York. I don't want to get into a fight with 'Tez over Bianca," Seth said and Sasha pounded her fist on the island.
"This isn't about Bianca, this is about us! This is about you not wanting to come home to your wife, this is about us not making love just because, this is about us not going on dates. This is about us Seth, Bianca is gone and why the Hell do you keep bringing her up when you know how that makes me feel?!" Sasha said.
"Because I…"
Bayley gagged Seth's mouth after putting the tea on the island hoping that it didn't spill from all the tension around them.
"I think you've said enough," she said calmly and the Rock walked in on the tense exchange and saw his wife with her hand over Seth's mouth.
"I came to congratulate you on a great press conference Sasha," he said to the Legit Boss. "I heard it was a hit thanks to 'Tez and BAEley,"
"It was, 'Tez and BAEley are the best, they're good people," Sasha said.
"Unlike your bastard husband," 'Tez said and Seth's jaw dropped.
"I'm a bastard?! You've been cheating on your wife for years you son-of-a-b*!" Seth snapped and suddenly Seth disappeared and when he was gone, Bayley saw Big E standing behind everyone.
"Big E!" Carmelo Hayes screamed from behind Gigi. "I knew we weren't alone in the People's jet!"
"Get him!" Sasha screamed and BAE ran after Big E with the exception of Bayley who stayed behind with Seth. She removed the Cloak of Invisibility from him and when he re-appeared he was fuming with rage.
"Oh Seth, what are you thinking? You can't come at 'Tez like that. The man is caught between Heaven and Hell and you're his only chance at salvation. Don't spoil it because you're mad at Sasha," she said gently.
"I can't stop thinking about her Bayley," Seth said and Bayley furrowed her brow.
"You can't stop thinking about who?" she asked puzzled.
"Bianca, I can't stop thinking about Bianca and coming home just makes it worse. The time I spend in this place reminds me why I hate it so much. I'd rather think about Bianca all day then spend one second with my power-hungry, arrogant wife," Seth said and Bayley shook her head.
"Seth you don't have a choice, you are married to Sasha and you promised God that you would love her unconditionally. Bianca is married you can't let your emotions blind you like this. Sasha loves you, in spite of all her flaws, she can't make it without you Seth. You can't keep hurting her like this and you're here acting like Bianca is an option when she's not and you know it," Bayley said. "Plus we got bigger problems than you and Sasha right now. Big E's back in the United States, which means the Feds are going to be looking for him. If we don't find him he could end up in prison, so let's go get him back under this Invisibility Cloak and make sure nobody can find him,"
"Why, so he can yell at me too?" Seth said and Bayley shook her head as Seth's heart continued to harden against his wife. "You go find Big E, I'm going to my room to pray,"
Bayley watched as Seth dragged his tortured soul up the stairs to enter his prayer closet.
"Aren't you going to go with him?" Bayley asked Seth's flying prayer shawl who was hovering by her.
Shawl lowered himself as if he wanted Bayley to get on, which she did and he flew her to Malibu Beach to see the movement that was forming around the woman that the wrestling world knew as Rhea Ripley. But in Malibu, Rhea was becoming someone else…
