Chapter 20
Nudist Beach Base, two days earlier
Hajime's eyes opened and all he could feel were aches in certain points of his body. Exhaustion only further added to his difficulty of being able to move. If those weren't enough issues, he felt like he had gone blind because everything was literally a blur. If the world was a canvas, Hajime would see everything like an amalgamation of various paint colors followed by someone smashing their face against the canvas because that's all he could see.
However, despite initially hearing a loud ringing noise. Hajime could hear loud voices that already sounded annoying. With all his effort, Hajime turned his head and found himself in some room where there were multiple people getting emotional. He recognized one of them as Mataro who was yelling about his sister or something followed by Gamagori screaming like the insane man he is.
"Worry not younger Mankanshoku! I promise will save your older sister myself! Even if I die trying, I will bring her back!" Gamagori screamed at the top of his lungs.
Hajime could then hear Mataro making gagging and choking sounds as he tried to speak. Followed by the Mankanshoku family patriarch making a comment that sounded all too familiar.
"You have definitely broken my son's clavicle. Pay me 500,000 or else I'm suing you." Barazo said, not sounding too concerned for Mataro's health.
Hajime's vision eventually adjusted to where he could see Gamagori taking up a lot of the room space while Mataro lied on the floor in pain. Either Barazo disregarded his son's health or just made it look worse than it seemed for the sake of extorting money out of the Disciplinary Committee's leader.
"500,000? That's insane and unreasonable." Gamagori said, sounding disturbed.
Hajime let out a groan before coughing loudly. This alerted everyone who realized he was awake.
"Hey the kid is alive!" Barazo said as he went to check on Hajime. "Don't worry Hajime, since you're a good friend. We're going to waver the bill just this once. In exchange for rebuilding our plumbing, there's no doubt our house got crushed." He said.
"Yeah, if we get our house back we at least deserve a good toilet." Mataro said.
"Stop it you too, you're overwhelming poor Hajime." Sukuyo said. "Besides, if anything, we need a good functioning washer and dryer." she said.
Hajime gave a weak smile before Sukuyo helped him and gave him a glass of water.
"You're lucky kid, Mataro and his friends found you along with one of the Kiriyuin's lackeys. They have all been taking care of you before these perverted guys found us." Barazo said.
"Indeed, you are quite fortunate." Gamagori spoke up. "I know we were on different factions and as much as I don't enjoy it. We are both on the same team and I only ask for your cooperation." He told Hajime.
"Right… where's Ryuko?" Naruto asked.
"About time you woke your lazy ass up." Said a familiar voice.
Hajime turned his head and saw Ryuko lying on a futon next to him. How did he not notice her there? But it wasn't Ryuko who was speaking, she was still asleep, likely in a coma like he was. The individual who spoke was Fenrir who stood next to her alongside Senketsu.
"Are you ready to get to work or do you need a longer nap time?" Fenrir asked.
"How long has it been?" Hajime asked.
Fenrir suddenly hopped on top of him, "Way too damn long, you lazy ass. I've been having to play babysitter to you, a bunch of brats and that nerdy kid named Naegi. He even used your damn sword like a club." He said.
Hajime sighed, "I missed you too, Fenrir." He said.
The kamui scoffed as he hopped off of him.
"How is Ryuko?" Hajime asked.
"As bad as you were kid." Barazo said.
"And how bad is it right now?" Hajime asked.
"I think you need to talk to the lead nudist guy." Mataro said. "Also, you might need to sharpen your sword." he said.
Hajime sighed as he turned to the corner of the room and saw the Buster Sword hanging against the wall. The blade looked a bit dull and could barely cut tomato. Luckily the Ultimate Black Smith is one of the many talents implanted within him.
"Someone get me a hammer and a few other tools." Hajime said as he sat up. He then looked at Ryuko and smiled, "Senketsu, keep Ryuko safe." he said.
"Of course, I would never leave her alone." Senketsu said.
A day later, Osaka
Once in Osaka, Hajime equipped his Buster Sword to his back and put on Fenrir. Where he then joined three of the Four Divas along with Aikuro and Tsumugu. From there, they saw a large army of COVERS that appeared very tall and muscular.
"So it's just us six versus a million of them? Oh joy." Jakuzure said sarcastically.
"The Four Divas will not fall today!" Gamagori shouted.
"Wrong, we're not the Four Divas anymore! We're the Mighty Six!" Sanageyama exclaimed.
Everyone minus sweat dropped at the proclamation.
"Hey Hinata, you got the Ultimate Writer or something? How about you make a real creative name." Jakuzure said.
"What's wrong with the name I made?" Sanageyama asked.
"Get with me after this." Hajime said, promising to make a new name brand.
"There is no time for this discussion! We have people in need of rescue!" Gamagori shouted as he jumped into battle. "And also, no naming brand will be accepted without Lady Satsuki's approval!" he shouted.
Gamagori then got to work on beating up several COVERS. Hajime sighed as he jumped after him and got to work on cutting them down. As a result, Hajime was able to safely release the trapped people. But that's when he heard dog barking and saw Guts barking at a random COVERS.
"Guts, get out of here!" Hajime shouted.
"Hold on, it's onto something." Fenrir said as Guts kept barking at the specific COVERS.
"Crap, Mako must be in there!" Hajime exclaimed before being surrounded by more COVERS.
"I will save her!" Gamagori shouted as he tackled the COVERS. "Release Makanshoku at once!" he shouted before attaching a device that worked like a vaccum.
Moments later, Mako came flying out but was completely naked. Gamagori then watched as Hajime cut through the COVERS that surrounded him.
"Hinata, take this one out as well!" Gamagori yelled as he tossed the COVERS at Hajime.
Hajime nodded and quickly bisected the COVER, destroying it. Once done, Mako woke up and realized she wasn't at school anymore let alone in her home town.
"What the heck? Am I in Osaka? Also, why am I naked?" Mako asked before Gamagori handed her the Nudist Beach equipment.
"Just please put your clothes on." Gamagori said as he faced away from Mako.
"Yeah, do it before Gamagori leers at your body like a perv." Jakuzure said.
"I am not a pervert!" Gamagori yelled at her.
"You're right, you're a whole lot worse considering that she's a minor and you are 20 years old." Jakuzure said.
"Hey, less chit chat. More fighting." Sanageyama said after cutting down more COVERS.
"Get your heads in the game. These things are starting to group together." Aikuro said.
While Mako was trying to figure out how to put on the makeshift clothes. Many of the COVERS grouped together and transformed into harps. They then proceeded to tug on their strings, creating one long single note but at a frequency that made everyone's ears hurt.
"What the hell is this crap!?" Jakuzure yelled as she covered her ears.
"Hajime, care to end this concert?" Aikuro asked, also looking hurt from the loud noise.
"I don't have ears but I'm still feeling a headache! Just kill these things already!" Fenrir commanded.
Hajime was about to attack the COVERS when a loud explosion occurred from behind everyone. When the smoke started to clear up, a very pissed off looking Ryuko appeared and without saying so much as a word. Ryuko raised her Scissor Blade into the air and dashed at the COVERS. In a mere instant, Ryuko moved past all of the COVERS, freeing every trapped individual along with destroying the incoming COVERS that felt everyone's presence.
When it was over, the COVERS exploded like fireworks at a festival but on a grand scale. Everyone was shocked by the sudden destruction done in such a short amount of time.
"That's my sister." Hajime said proudly.
"It looks like Senketsu got to work fast." Fenrir said only to notice Senketsu hopping towards Ryuko. "I guess it's just your sister that was motivated." He said.
Hajime raised a brow as he noticed Senketsu as well. What left him curious is how much damage Ryuko had done without using Senketsu. Hajime had some doubts that he could do the same without Fenrir's help. Maybe Izuru could do it, but Hajime had no desire to test that theory.
"Ryuko!" Hajime shouted as he ran up to his sister.
When Hajime approached her, Ryuko still looked angry but barely responded to him. Hajime felt confused but gently put his hands on her shoulders.
"Hey, are you okay?" Hajime asked as he gently shook her.
He could tell Ryuko's mind was filled with turmoil but could not understand what was going on in her head specifically. Hajime then saw Senketsu eagerly hopping towards Ryuko but Ryuko just shoved him away.
"Ryuko? What's the matter? It's me." Senketsu said.
"I don't like that guy, but even I can tell that was cold." Fenrir commented.
"I'm not human." Ryuko whispered. "I'm just like Ragyo!" She screamed.
"What?" Hajime asked, feeling startled.
"I'm just Life Fibers, I'm not a human!" Ryuko screamed angrily, letting all her fear, sadness and aggression out.
"Then neither am I!" Hajime screamed back, forcing Ryuko into silence.
"What just happened?" Senketsu asked.
"I think the solution to a crisis is a screaming contest." Fenrir answered.
Hajime looked at his sister in the eyes, "Ryuko, I'm not any different than you, remember? I lost my sense of will when the truth hit me, but I came through. You're stronger than this, you can't let this destroy you." He said.
"What do you know?" Ryuko asked as she started to twitch.
"I know a lot, I wasn't born naturally remember? Even after what our teacher said, you came back and tried seeing me as a brother. Even if you never came back, I was willing to accept that you would move on with your life even if you wanted nothing to do with me anymore." Hajime explained as Ryuko gripped his arms tightly.
Ryuko tried to fight back the tears as all sorts of emotions bombarded her mind. Ryuko held onto Hajime as she started to try and calm down. She thought back to the moments where they had each other's backs when things turned for worse. Such as when Tsumugu chased after her and tried to kill Senketsu or when Satsuki and Nui tried to eliminate her. Heck, Hajime convinced the Ultimate Impostor to get Mako to revert to her old self when she was President of the Fight Club.
It was just Hajime who helped her, Ryuko returned the favor and tried to comfort him. Such as when Hajime broke up with Chiaki and he started having doubts. Even then, Ryuko would always try to be the one to cheer him up and motivate him.
However, this sense of humanity that Ryuko was familiar too was ruined by her least favorite people.
"Lame, are you two having some deep friendship moment?" asked a familiar voice.
"Nui!" Ryuko growled out.
"Wrong, it's me but I'm not really here." Nui said.
Everyone turned to see Nui but she was just some white fabrics that were the same shape as her. They could see that her lower torso was flaoting from the ground and moving around like threads being pushed by the air. It only further annoyed Ryuko to know that Nui could see her at any time and she could do nothing to really hurt her.
"If you guys are really relying on the power of friendship, then you gotta be desperate." Nui said.
Nui was about to say more insults when her projection was hit by multiple nails. Nui didn't feel any pain but she did look visibly annoyed.
"Hey, don't shoot me while I'm talking!" Nui angrily screamed.
Everyone turned to see Hajime with a nail gun, "Your voice is hurting my sister's ears." he said.
Nui snarled and prepared to say something when a projection of Ragyo appeared.
"That's enough Nui, I'm here. I think it's time a mother has a chat with her children." Ragyo said.
"I'm not your daughter, you bitch!" Ryuko yelled.
Ragyo just sighed, "You are too vulgar, I can only blame Soichiro. I mean, Isshin, I meant to say Isshin." she said.
"You leave my dad out of this!" Ryuko yelled.
"He did not care for you, Ryuko. He did not care for your brother and just casted him aside. He was no better than I and saw him as a spare weapon." Ragyo said.
"And what does that make Satsuki?" Hajime asked.
Ragyo scoffed, "An utter failure to say the least." she answered.
"That's funny, she was under your watch and you raised her. All I witnessed was a strong woman with big ambitions, but lost herself when one too many people stopped listening to her and decided to control everything." Hajime said.
Hajime understood Satsuki's end goals, but couldn't help but believe some of it was a failure. Even if it wasn't for Ragyo planning to counter her daughter's ambush. Hajime still believed Satsuki did more damage than good. Ragyo on the other hand, failed to see what Hajime was implying.
"As I said, she was a failure and could not be what I envisioned her to be. She is not as special as you or Ryuko." Ragyo said.
"Not special?" Ryuko asked as she gritted her teeth.
"That is right, I cannot be blamed for such a mess." Ragyo said.
"No that's wrong!" Hajime exclaimed.
COUNTER!
Everyone was confused by what just happened as Hajime spoke up.
"If Satsuki is work of your design. Then clearly the failure you describe is your own reflection." Hajime said, making Ragyo's eye twitch. "Face it Ragyo, for all of Satsuki's shortcomings and merits. You're just a bigger failure than she is and now you are just mad because she didn't listen to you. You are the bigger narcissist." He said.
Aikuro smirked in the back, "Oh, that one was a big punch to the ego." he said.
Gamagori just crossed his arms, "Hinata may have strong beliefs, but the way he refers to Lady Satsuki is unforgivable." He said.
Regardless of how anyone felt about Hajime's use of references. His points seemed to have struck a chord with Ragyo who believed any failure was the fault of others. It didn't end there either.
"If anything, you are just mad that Soichiro or Isshin or whatever his name is had done a better job than you. You talk about how you threw us away and now you are blaming others because of your buyer's remorse." Hajime said, further annoying Ragyo.
"Yeah you bitch, you're just another prideful bigot like your daughter! Who is nothing more than another control freak!" Ryuko screamed.
Ragyo seemed to at her breaking point of just screaming at her children but managed to keep some composure.
"I see, teenage rebellion is the most annoying aspect of raising children." Ragyo said. "If you feel that strongly against me, then let us end this family feud. Find me at Honnoji Academy where this all started and we can end this feud there." she said.
"Bye bye!" Nui said before both projections unravelled.
The projections turned into regular cloths and flew directly towards Honnoji Academy in the far distance. Ryuko's hands curled into fists as her anger rose up.
"Let's go." Ryuko said.
"What? Where?" Hajime asked.
"To Honnoji, we're settling this once and for all and killing that bitch." Ryuko answered.
"Ryuko, that's insane" Senketsu exclaimed.
Then Aikuro came up to say the same, "Kid, that is a bad idea. Ragyo is waiting for you up there and it's obviously a trap." he said.
"I don't care." Ryuko said.
Aikuro moved his DTR in front of Ryuko, "Kid, I am looking out for you and Hinata. You no doubt got stronger and can beat COVERS with ease, but there's probably a whole lot that Ragyo has prepared." he said.
"Get out of my WAY!" Ryuko shouts as she slices cleanly through the DTR.
Leaving only a half naked Aikuro lying on the ground when his machine was destroyed. Aikuro looked stunned as did most of the present group. Ryuko ignored the looks as she grabbed Hajime's hand.
"Let's go." Ryuko said.
"Ryuko, we can't go there." Hajime said as he stood his ground. "Look, maybe you should rest some more. You probably strained your body as it is." he said as he tried pulling her back.
"I don't need rest. I need to get rid of Ragyo for what did to us." Ryuko said.
"Ryuko, I hate her too but we can't rush into this." Hajime said.
"So that's it? You're just going to abandon me!?" Ryuko asked with a glare.
Hajime was taken aback by her words, "Ryuko, I'm not abandoning you. I just think this is a bad idea." He said.
Ryuko gritted her teeth, "After everything we've been through. All those times we had each other's back? You're going to sit around and wait?" she asked.
"I'm just trying to talk you out of doing something crazy." Hajime said.
Ryuko let go of Hajime's arm, "Fine, then wait around. Stand around with your new friends while I deal with this." she said as she turned around. "I'll go beat Ragyo by myself." she said.
"Ryuko, you can't go!" Hajime said as he went to grab her.
Ryuko shoved him away, "I don't need to hear it. Just leave me alone. I'm used to it." she said.
Senketsu suddenly, "We can't go! Ryuko, it couldn't be any more obvious that we can't win." he said.
"You're not coming!" Ryuko shouted as she kicked Senketsu away.
Hajime and the others gasped by how Ryuko treated Senketsu, her own partner.
"You can't go!"
Hallelujah!
Once again, Mako somehow conjured up a spotlight on her where she gave her weird interpretive dance and speech.
"Ryuko, it's a trap and even I know it and I'm not smart! Not only that, you pushed away Senketsu! He's your first friend! You can't get rid of your friends and go off on your own!" Mako exclaimed as she climbed on top of Ryuko.
"Mako, get off of me right now." Ryuko said, sounding like she was trying to restrain her anger.
But Mako ignored her, she needed to get through to her only friend. So she continued with her recurring gag with her spotlight and moves.
"Ryuko, you have to listen to reason! I may be dumb, but not that dumb but Hajime isn't dumb! He's not holding you back because he thinks little of you! He's holding you back because he cares about you! There's no love greater than that of siblings who own a fishmonger industry!" Mako said.
Everyone felt confused by the last part.
"Fishmonger industry? Where did she get that from?" Jakuzure asked.
"Oh yeah, I think that's the excuse I used to make Dr. Makanshoku do a DNA test." Aikuro spoke up.
"What!? You lied to me and made me do a random DNA test!?" Barazo asked with wide eyes. "Oh well, at least siblings are reunited and I still got paid." he said.
Ignoring the celebrations on Barazo's part, things were not looking any better with Ryuko. The girl was still too traumatized by recent events and wanted to use Ragyo and Nui as an outlet of her rage. Not thinking about the obvious fact that Ragyo isn't honorbound to her word or at least would not do the honorable thing while denying any promises she made. Like Satsuki, Ragyo seems to make up all the rules as she goes to keep thins in her favor.
What's worse is Ryuko seems to have some sort of disdain towards Senketsu.
"I'm going and that's final. I'll do it alone." Ryuko said.
"On your own? Not even with me?" Senketsu asked only to be shoved away.
"Get away from me." Ryuko said.
"Ryuko, I'm your partner." Senketsu said.
"Stay the hell away from me! It's bad enough that I'm made of Life Fibers!" Ryuko yelled.
"Ryuko that's not fair, the two of you are separate creatures." Hajime said.
"That's right, I'm a creature and I don't want to be anywhere near this one." Ryuko said as s he pointed at Senketsu with disdain.
"I didn't mean it like that and you know it." Hajime said.
"And you can't be angry with Senketsu! He's your first friend who never left your side even when he was cut up like an animal!" Mako exclaimed as she climbed onto Ryuko's back.
Ryuko growled, "Mako, get off of me!" she yelled as she threw Mako into Hajime's arms. "I don't need any friends! I'm fine on my own now!" she said as she started walking away.
That's when Tsumugu stepped forward with his nail gun drawn. He got in the way and aimed for Ryuko who had already lost her patience.
"A walking Life Fiber is just as bad as clothes. If you're not willing to work with us, then you're our enemy." Tsumugu said.
"Hey, cut that out!" Hajime yelled.
"This girl isn't right in her head anymore!" Tsumugu argued.
In the blink of an eye, Ryuko slashed her Scissor Blade at Tsumugu's direction. Where the upper portion of a large building far in the distance was sliced clean off. In a fragment of a second before the slash, Hajime had pulled Tsumugu away with the intent to disarm him. Not realizing Ryuko's improved speed and now witnessing the damage she can cause without a kamui.
"Next time, I won't miss. So stay out of my way." Ryuko said before leaving everyone behind.
All anyone could do was watch as Ryuko left. Not even Hajime had the heart to stop his sister when she was in this mental state.
At the base
Senketsu was close to balling his eye out when Mako held him close to her chest.
"It's okay Senketsu, you can't talk but I know how you feel. Ryuko will eventually come back and want to wear you." Mako said.
While she couldn't hear Senketsu's voice, it seemed that Mako's empathy still did a good job at trying to help comfort the kamui. Although it did nothing to help the situation so far.
"Without Ryuko, we only have Hajime to rely on. Along with the rest of the Ultimates." Aikuro said.
"Don't forget, we only have two or three Goku Uniforms left among them." Sanageyama said. "I knew Matoi was reckless, but I didn't think she was stupid enough to go for the trap." he said.
"Says the man who constantly wanted to fight her." Hajime commented.
"Did you say something? It sounded like you wanted to say something." Sanageyama said, looking directly at Hajime's face.
"Shut up idiot, Hinata is only pointing out the obvious. Besides, we can't fight right now." Jakuzure said.
"Yes, please do listen to Jakuzure. There is no point in you instigating a fight, Sanageyama." Inumuta said.
A few seconds later, the screens showed live footage from several cameras within Honnoji Academy. Inumuta went through them before finding Satsuki dangling in a cage like a bird, but completely naked where her body showed signs of abuse.
"Lady Satsuki! Who dares to violate her!?" Gamagori screamed.
"You can take your guess, it should not be that difficult." Inumuta said before witnessing a few errors.
The screens started to show the smirking face of Monokuma and it started to multiply. Only for them to freeze up and explode thanks to some handiwork from Inumuta's assistant.
"Fujisaki, have they tracked us?" Inumuta asked.
"I'm not entirely sure, but there have been several firewalls put up along with some countermeasures. I'm afraid we can't watch the live feed permanently but I can try to prevent any malware from entering our system." Chihiro said as they tried to set up countermeasures for Nudist Beach.
"You won't need to keep it up for long. Just look at Satsuki and not just her body." Aikuro said as he pointed at the screen.
"Someone cut his dick off." Jakuzure said.
Aikuro quickly jumped away in fright, "It's not like that, something feels off. Just look at that big nail of hers." he said as he pointed at Satsuki's foot.
The Four Divas noticed Satsuki was wearing fake toenails but the one on her big toe was sharp enough to carve the floor. They immediately understood their leader's intention to escape.
"Something tells me that the enemy is at Honnoji right now." Sanageyama said.
"But that again, it wouldn't make sense. Why draw out Matoi-san?" Chihiro asked.
"It would do us a lot of good if she took out Harime and Ragyo. Heck, it would be easier if Hinata was with her right now." Sanageyama said.
Hajime sighed, "We already went over this. It's a trap and by now, Ragyo knows my sister too well. Do you think Ragyo would be that proud to fight her directly?" he asked.
"For once I agree with Hinata, this is Ragyo Kiriyuin and she was smart enough to realize Lady Satsuki's plan. There's no doubt Matoi is lost if she's prepared and I doubt Hinata would have done any better by her side." Gamagori pointed out.
"There's also that one girl, Mukuro Ikusuba, she was the Ultimate Soldier and now that she's a Life Fiber hybrid like me. She's only a lot more dangerous." Hajime explained.
"That Ryuko girl got stronger after her little nap. Maybe if you let Izuru out, you could curb stomp her along with Enoshima and Harime." Fenrir said.
"I'm not that desperate." Hajime whispered.
Fenrir scoffed, "You should be ready to let everything out. Not all of those skills are for parlor tricks and seducing your mate. The Ultimate Hope is the Ultimate killing machine." he said.
"I hope you really don't have to use your alter ego, Hajime. I still shiver when you confronted Tsumugu the first time." Senketsu said, admitting he was afraid of Izuru.
As Hajime had his conversation with the two kamui. Aikuro started setting up a plan with everyone in the room.
"While we still have Hajime as our last defender. We could still use every soldier we can get our hands on. So that means we need to rescue Satsuki Kiriyuin. Along with anyone else we might have time for." Aikuro said as the cameras changed.
Most of which just showed the COVERS that were patrolling along with several cocoons and a few empty cells. Then one more where they found a badly beaten Chiaki Nanami who was hanging from chains in a cell.
"Your mate!" Fenrir said.
Hajime suddenly punched the wall behind him, causing it to crack.
"Easy there cowboy. We're putting all our efforts to rescue Satsuki, but that won't mean we'll leave anyone else behind if we can." Aikuro said before rubbing his hair back. "Because Nudist Beach is putting everything on the line for what could be the final battle." He said.
A while later
With help from Kaneo Takarada who wasn't abducted during the invasion of Ragyo's COVERS. Nudist Beach was gifted with a ship similar to a naval carrier.
"Welcome aboard the S.S. Naked Sun, get ready to set sail!" Aikuro said.
"All hands on deck!" Tsumugu ordered as every available Nudist Beach agent ran onboard the ship.
It took every last penny that the Takarada Conglomerate had to have this ship prepared. Now Kaneo was rooting for everyone to win this fight and do it without completely wrecking up this expensive peace of naval warfare. While he wouldn't be there in person, there was a group of people who were joining the crew to support everyone.
"I don't think any of you should set sail without a doctor." Barazo said as his family arrived wearing Nudist Beach equipment.
"Oh my gosh! Dad!" Mako shouted as she jumped to hug him. "Are you guys coming?" She asked.
"Of course we are, this time we'll be saving lives instead of ending them." Barazo said as the family formed a group hug.
"Get in here Hajime, you're practically family too." Mataro said.
"Arf!" Guts barked in agreement.
Hajime's cheeks flushed, "I don't want to ruin the…" he was interrupted by Sukuyo dragging him into the group hug.
Senketsu just watched as the family and Hajime embraced one another. All the while the ship started to set sail in preparation to save Satsuki.
"You better not damage that thing! It was hella expensive!" Kaneo shouted through the loudspeakers.
Ironically, he was still wishing the crew good luck on their voyage.

She was all alone and Ryuko decided to settle with that. She let her rage, pain and hatred take over. Despite believing herself to be alone, Ryuko only forced this isolation onto herself. When she arrived at Honnoji, Ryuko created a massive crater upon landing at the center of the school with a motorcycle she had found. Where she quickly dispatched dozens, possibly hundreds, of COVERS with her scissor blade.
With the many COVERS she's defeated in quick succession, Ryuko was nowhere near satisfied. There was no sense in fulfillment as she defeated the sentient clothing because of her singular goal in mind.
"Where are you Ragyo Kiriyuin!?" Ryuko shouted.
Instead of Ragyo appearing like she had expected, or maybe unexpected considering who her daughter is. Ryuko watched as Junko came walking down Satsuki's magic stairs with her arms on her hips.
"Hi there, Satsuki's annoying punk sister! I thought you were gonna be late for a minute there!" Junko said, acting as if this were a party.
As Junko came walking down, about another hundred COVERS came down and surrounded Ryuko.
"I'm here to kill Ragyo and anyone else who gets in my way." Ryuko said in a cold voice.
Junko cringed, "Ew, what kind of crappy action movie did you steal that line from?" she asked. "Whatever, I'm not the type to dish out discipline or whatever but I'm cool with corporal punishment." she said.
As Junk said this, Ryuko hopped onto her motorcycle and rushed through the COVERS. Where she then made her way directly towards Junko who just smiled like nothing was happening. Junko then ducked as Ryuko nearly took her head off.
"Someone is likely totally pissed. Don't tell me you are as much of a bitch as that sister of yours." Junko said before nearly being bisected.
Junko just sighed as she extend her hand, generating Life Fiber claws from her finger tips. Junk then dodged multiple slashes from Ryuko while trying to slash her back.
'Damn it, this girl is crazy mad. Mukuro better be covering me.' Junko thought as she tried clawing at Ryuko.
Junko started to think that Nui would have been a better option. Mainly as Nui would have had an easier time trying to keep up with Ryuko. Still, Junko could see that Ryuko was burning herself out quickly because of all of the rage she had built up. However, it looked like one angry teenage girl wasn't her only problem as she saw a helicopter in the sky.
"Are you freaking kidding me!?" Junko asked as she avoided another strike from Ryuko.
As the girls fought at the center of the school. Ragyo looked upward just slightly and saw the helicopter as it fired a missile at her. The explosive missed her by a small margin but Ragyo looked impassive by the explosion coming right behind her.
Then she saw a second helicopter fly right over her and directly towards the school. Ragyo narrowed her eyes as she could only wonder what motivated that maneuver. Then again, there are a lot of people who would see the world as a better place without Ragyo.
Inside of the school
Satsuki and Chiaki were running across the halls of Honnoji which were littered with COVERS. Luckily Satsuki still had the skills to deal with them as she led their escape. By the time they found an exit, they found a lot more COVERS standing outside.
"Useless trash." Satsuki commented on the sight.
That's when Hajime came down from the second helicopter and slashed the surrounding COVERS. Satsuki's facial appearance remained unchanged, but she cannot deny that she did not expect Hajime to appear. Satsuki did not question as she let Hajime cut off her bonds as well as Chiaki's.
"Lady Satsuki!" Gamagori shouted as he jumped down from the helicopter.
Now that is someone who she definitely expected.
"I'm assuming there is a truce between all factions?" is all Satsuki asked.
"Yes, but that does not motivate me or the other Four Divas from rescuing you." Gamagori said before Jakuzure landed on his head.
"And you might want this." Jakuzure said as she gave Satsuki a blanket and her heeled boots.
Satsuki likely loses some sense of authority when she can't click her heels on the ground.
Hajime helped up Gamagori as Sanageyama came down as well. The blind swordsman presented Satsuki with her old sword. Which was now two smaller swords as the Bakuzan was originally destroyed during the fight with Ragyo.
"It's not the same, but only one person is worthy of wielding these blades." Sanageyama said.
Satsuki accepted the weapons, "Even broken, my sword will cut down my enemies." she said. "But for now, we need to regroup." she said as she saw the incoming COVERS.
"I'm not leaving without Ryuko." Hajime said as he removed the threads wrapped around Chiaki's mouth.
Chiaki gasped for air and was about to call out to Hajime when she saw him running towards Ryuko. Satsuki just watched, already knowing Hajime would ignore her. But the Ultimate Hope would find himself flying backwards when a large explosion came from the center of the stadium.
"I think retreat is our only option." Sanageyama said.
Back with Ryuko
Ryuko would not be able to finish her fight with Ryuko as explosions came from the ground. This time, she found her fight interrupted by the Warriors of Hope. All five were surrounding Ryuko while being supported by an army of Monokuma robots.
"Hey look, my little brothers and sisters are here to help. Isn't that sweet?" Junko asked, taunting Ryuko.
Being reminded that Hajime was not fighting by her side, Ryuko felt even more angry. Where she quickly lunged at Junko and slashed at one side of her neck. Junko cried out in pain and fell to the ground as she held her neck.
"Ow! The crazy girl stabbed me!" Junko yelled.
"The mean girl hit big sister Junko! Attack robots! Attack!" Monaca commanded.
The Monokuma robots flashed the red eyes on the side of their heads and charged at Ryuko. Ryuko already got to work on slicing them up. However, as the destroyed piles of Monokuma robots started to stack up. Nagisa activated his own Goku Uniform, causing it to sprout robot like limbs made from Life Fibers. The limbs then quickly started to put the destroyed robots and quickly reactivated them.
Kotoko then came in and started slapping patches made from Life Fibers onto the robots. The Monokuma army then started look stronger as they surrounded Ryuko again.
"You can destroy our army all you want, but we'll just make them stronger." Kotoko said in a mocking tone.
Ryuko growled as she kept cutting down the robot army.
"I'm going to kick your asses when I reach you brats!" Ryuko yelled as she cut down another Monokuma.
Before long, each member of the Warriors of Hope minus Monaca pulled out some switches. Before Ryuko could realize what was going on, she was surrounded by four robots.
"What the hell is this?" Ryuko asked.
"Demon Hunting!" the Warriors of Hope said.
"And unlike our last robots, these ones are built with auntie Ragyo's Life Fibers." Jataro said. "Thank you auntie Ragyo!" he said.
Ragyo just snickered, "You are most welcome, Jataro-kun. Now be a dear and help hold down my daughter." she said.
"Your daughter? Oh yeah, forgot about that bombshell." Jataro said as he scratched his mask.
"Jataro, don't get distracted now!" Kotoko exclaimed.
Ryuko then found herself having to fight the robots starting with Masaru's robot which had drills for hands and moved very quickly. Ryuko tried to block the drills but found herself being hit by explosive balls being launched by Jataro's robot. Ryuko managed to regain her stance and avoided the balls before kicking one straight back at Jataro's robot. Ryuko then found herself being hit by Kotoko's robot from behind.
"Hahaha, I'm getting the prize for beating down this crazy girl." Kotoko said as she made her robot attack Ryuko while she was down.
Ryuko gritted her teeth and blocked Kotoko's robot's swords. She parried the next blows and drop kicked the machine straight into Masaru's robot. However, it was far from over as Ryuko found herself quickly dodging many laser bolts. She turned her head and saw Nagisa's robot standing on top of some Satsuki's pillars from the Cultural Festival. Ryuko only felt further annoyed as she dodged the blasts.
She then ran up the pillar and attempted to attack the machine only for more of Jataro's explosive balls to surround her. Nagisa used that as an advantage and shot at them. Resulting in Ryuko getting caught in the explosion and falling back down. While Ryuko was temporarily down, Nagisa aimed for the helicopters.
"You won't hurt aunt Ragyo! She's depending on us! She's depending on me! She's not like everyone else!" Nagisa frantically said.
With the Helicopters
Tsumugu turned his attention away from Ragyo as he avoided the shooting coming from Nagisa's robot. He cursed his luck as he was almost out of ammo except for a couple of rockets.
"Hey pinky, you're the engineer right? Do you think you can do something about that brat's oversized toy?" Tsumugu asked.
"My name is Kazuichi and I can't do anything with how much we're shaking in this thing!" Kazuichi yelled as he was trying to make a weapon.
"You better hurry. Chisa isn't as good as evading like me." Tsumugu said.
As Tsumugu said, Chisa was piloting the second helicopter intended for rescuing Satsuki. The Ultimate Maid was not having a good time in her predicament as she couldn't navigate in this messy battlefield.
"I am not cut out for this, but I'm not letting anyone down." Chisa said as she landed next to the Four Divas. "Everyone get onboard now! We can't stay here any longer!" she said.
Satsuki was the first to step in and for some reason, she sat down calmly as her butler served her some tea. Chisa just sweat dropped as she realized why the butler was so insistent on tagging along. However her concerns turned to her students as she saw Chiaki being shoved into Gamagori's arms by Hajime.
"Just take her and go! I'm getting Ryuko!" Hajime exclaimed.
"Hinata, don't be reckless. Matoi is toast." Sanageyama said.
"No she's not! Now go on without me!" Hajime yelled.
"Get your ass on this chopper!" Sanageyama yelled.
Jakuzure looked at Gamagori as she got onboard, "I half expected you to bark at Hinata for being insubordinate or something." She said.
"A part of me wants to say something along those lines. Yet, I doubt Hinata lacks the power to save that delinquent. A part of me respects his sense of camadarie despite her words from yesterday… but another part of me wants to yell at him for all the other things he said about Lady Satsuki!" Gamagori roared.
"What did he say?" Satsuki asked, looking curious.
Gamagori quieted down, "Rude things, things I do not wish to repeat in detail." he answered.
"The only good thing to come from it was him trashing on your mom. You should have seen how angry Ragyo started to get." Sanageyama said.
"I see." Satsuki said, not showing any emotion.
"As much as I have like the idea of Hajime saving Ryuko. I'm afraid we can't stay." Chisa said as she started pulling out.
"Circling around and staying are both risks. We should distance ourselvesr." Satsuki said.
"Are we abandoning Hinata?" Jakuzure said.
Satsuki slurped her tea before answering, "Of course not, we need to avoid becoming targets and only swoop in after the climax." she answered.
"More tea, miss?" Mitsuzo asked as he offered to pour more.
With Nui
Nui stood beside Monaca as they watched the fight unfold. She could see that Monaca was working on a handmade laptop which had a whole set of schematics and details regarding the robots that were fighting Ryuko. Nui leaned closely over Monaca's shoulder as the little girl worked on the computer.
"What does that stuff do?" Nui asked.
"Monaca doesn't know." Monaca answered.
Nui tilted her head, "Then if you don't know, why are you doing it?" she asked.
"Monaca knows what Monaca is doing, Monaca just doesn't know the complicated stuff. That's Nagisa's specialty, but Monaca has other plans." Monaca explained.
"Oh. Like what?" Nui asked.
Monaca then handed Nui a small briefcase, "Big sister Nui, do Monaca a favor and go to the center of the fight. It's going to help aunt Ragyo win, but you may get hurt." she said.
Nui shrugged, "I'll take the hits, but you owe me." she said.
"Okay, bye." Monaca said as Nui ran towards the center of the fight. "All part of the plan." she said.
At the center
Ryuko was starting to feel exhaustion and despite the machines being close to destruction. There was no chance that Ryuko would be able to defeat Junko, at least not without succumbing to injury or exhaustion. That didn't matter to Ryuko as she was still angry and not thinking things through. Her defeat came when Nui arrived a few feet across from her.
"Hi Ryuko, I know you're having fun fighting the Lil' Ultimates, but I gotta end this now." Nui said as she opened the briefcase.
Inside was a little switch and a few buttons. Nui didn't bother thinking much about it as she pressed a button. Right at the last second, she felt Ryuko rushing right at her along with Hajime. Nui quickly threw the briefcase into the air and tried blocking both attacks.
"Hajime, you're here too? Why are you late for the party? Don't tell me you only came here for Satsuki." Nui said.
"You only came for Satsuki!?" Ryuko angrily asked.
"I came here for all of you! Ryuko, you're not going to win this!" Hajime exclaimed.
"Why are you looking down on me!?" Ryuko asked.
"I'm not! I am trying to…"
"Boring." Nui said before the robots exploded in a fiery mess.
Unlike the massive explosion that Satsuki caused a month ago. The explosion was weaker, but brighter and released a wave of Life Fibers. The Life Fibers grabbed onto Ryuko and Hajime with the latter having been sent crashing backwards as most of the explosions came from behind Ryuko. However, the Warriors of Hope soon found themselves in trouble as they were being trapped in Life Fiber cocoons. This soon attracted the COVERS which saw them as prey worth devouring.
Meanwhile Ragyo just laughed at the sight before releasing Junketsu. While Ryuko was restrained by the Life Fibers, Junketsu pounced on Ryuko and wrapped itself around her. Ryuko screamed as she tried to resist Junketsu as more Life Fibers started to tamper with her mind.
"Don't resist it Ryuko. Become the perfect daughter you were meant to be. No, become the perfect creature!" Ragyo explained.
"Screw you, bitch!" Ryuko yelled.
"Give into the kamui! Give yourself to it! Let the Life Fibers become you!" Ragyo said as Ryuko felt like she was being eaten alive.
Suddenly, a large hook from the sky came down and grabbed Ryuko. Ragyo saw another one being shot as well and looked to see that they were both coming from Tsumugu's helicopter. Where they were being manned by Kazuichi.
"Oh no you don't." Ragyo said with narrow eyes. "Do not let them escape!" she ordered.
With Kazuichi
Having managed to make a handmade portable grappling hook that somehow also worked as a crane. Kazuichi was doing his best to pull his friend and his sister into the plane.
"Hurry up! Kiriyuin is going to sick more of her monsters on us!" Tsumugu yelled.
"I'm trying! What do you think I'm doing!? Also, are you already out of ammo!?" Kazuichi asked as he was working hard.
"I don't have much less and Chisa is already leaving." Tsumugu said.
Kazuichi groaned as he continued to work hard but panicked when he saw Junko. He screamed as he saw the girl cutting at the wire holding Ryuko. He continued to pull Ryuko up but didn't realize what would happen if he pulled up Junko as well.
"Oh wait, Hajime is here too! Hajime! I could use your… help?" Kazuichi asked as he noticed Hajime was already gone. "Where did he go!?" he asked.
"Hey nerd! Nice toy! I bet you would make a good mentor to the kids, but I guess we all can't have nice things!" Junko said as Kazuichi panicked.
However, Kazuichi wouldn't be unfortunate enough to face Junko directly. As Hajime arrived and cut the rope holding Ryuko as he landed.
"Oh thank god, Hajime you're… what the heck? Why did you cut the rope?" Kazuichi asked.
Hajime looked at him impassively, "There was no use. We need to retreat. Matoi has lost herself to the other kamui." he said.
"Uh, are you feeling okay?" Kazuichi asked.
"Shit, it's that alternate personality of his." Tsumugu said, realizing Izuru Kamakura was active.
"What!? This is him!?" Kazuichi asked.
"Get this machine moving. We did what we could." Izuru said.
Kazuichi then noticed Hajime had brought four of the Warriors of Hope with him. All of whom were seemingly injured and unconscious.
"Then why did you bring them?" Kazuichi asked.
Izuru gave him a cold emotionless stare then ignored him. Tsumugu didn't have the chance to give him opinion as he knew it was too late to save Ryuko. He knew this was a terrible idea and Ryuko made it worse by going on her own. Then again, even if she came along for the rescue mission. There was a chance Ryuko would have been caught.
'I'm not writing up a report.' Tsugumu thought as he flew away with Chisa's helicopter following behind.
The mission was a success but the side objective appeared to be a failure from the start.
At the S.S. Naked Sun
The helicopters returned safely and everyone scrambled around them to see how things turned out. Kazuichi was the first to come walking out while gasping for air.
"That was a nasty mess." Kazuichi said.
Nekomaru patted his shoulder, "But way to take one of the team." he said.
"Yeah Soda, we all thought you would have stayed behind." Akane said.
"Soda's fear is just his humanity, but his bravery comes from his desire to save his comrades." Nagito said dramatically.
Kazuichi was about to say something when Sonia spoke up.
"That does sound like a good analysis." Sonia said.
Kazuichi suddenly blushed, "Yeah I mean, what good is fear if you don't face it right? Who else could back Hajime and the others?" he asked.
Izuru then came walking out, "Where is Tsumiki? She has new patients." he said.
"I am right here." Mikan said. Only to notice Izuru's stare, "Hinata, are you feeling okay?" she asked nervously.
Izuru ignored the question, "Help these children. They were betrayed." she said.
"Hey, aren't those the brats that were helping Enoshima?" Fuyuhiko asked.
"Yes, but now they will help us." Izuru said, leaving no room for arguments.
"What happened to him?" Fuyuhiko asked.
"It's that alternate personality of his, remember? The scary intense one?" Kazuichi asked.
Everyone tried to process that information before watching the other helicopter being unloaded. From there, they watched Satsuki and her divas exiting with Chiaki as well. Class 77 was eager to see their friend again. Meanwhile some of Class 78 came out to greet her as well.
"Nanami!" everyone shouted.
Chiaki smiled, "Hi everyone." she greeted. "Where's Hajime?" she asked.
"You will not be seeing him." Satsuki suddenly spoke up.
Everyone was stunned into silence when they heard Satsuki speak. It's been too long since they've heard from her and she seemed more than prepared to start giving orders again. Although some did feel offended by how she spoke to Chiaki.
"My little brother is already messed up in the head. He does not need some video game junkie to ruin him any further." Satsuki explained.
"I was not aware that Lady Satsuki had a younger brother." Kiyotaka said.
"When did this happen? I feel like we would have known if she had a brother." Toko said.
"Actually, I am very sure Ragyo was mentioning this. Only we did not have enough context for it to be explained properly." Byakuya said.
"Wait is she talking about Hajime?" Akane asked.
A lot of people were confused as some already spoke to Hajime and learned about this information through his hypothesis. There are also those who remember Ragyo revealing that Ryuko is her daughter and brief mention of her having a son. Not many were able to pay attention as the chaos was going on and some were not able to get the whole story.
Izuru decided to make his presence known by stomping his foot hard.
"Hajime Hinata is Satsuki Kiriyuin's brother, but only by blood." Izuru said.
Then came more silence.
"Is he seriously speaking in the third person?" Toko asked.
"Izuru-san, it has been too long since we last met." Nagito spoke up.
"…"
"Were things so dire that you had to take charge? Not that I mind your presence." Nagito said.
Everyone just stared at Nagito in confusion.
"I was one of the first who met Hinata's alternate personality. Just know that he is on our side." Nagito said.
"Your faction benefits me more. Think nothing of it." Izuru said as Nagito just smiled. "And as I was saying, both my counterpart and Satsuki are related. However, Satsuki has no right to decide who deserves to be in Hinata's social circle." he said.
Now Satsuki started to feel irate, "And who are you to decide that?" she asked.
"We are two different beings sharing one body. Yet, I've come to understand him and the world he is in. With that, you fail to see the attachments he has with others including the "game junkie" as you refer to her." Izuru explained.
"That's right, Nanami is more than some gamer girl." Kazuichi said, trying to hide his fear.
"Yeah, she was our first Class President and she even stood up for Hiyoko." Akane added.
"And I still feel the phantom pain." Teruteru said, reminding everyone that Chiaki punched him.
Before this needless argument could continue, the whole ship rocked back and forth as a projectile hit it. Everyone assumed it was an attack from Ragyo but spotted nothing from the sky. Instead, they saw the projectile was actually Ryuko but she was wearing Junketsu and had a deranged look on her face. Before anyone could say anything to her, Ryuko was already making a mess by destroying two helicopters on the ship.
"What the heck Ryuko!? What's the matter with you!?" Kazuichi asked.
Then Ryuko looked at him with her crazy eyes and scared him.
"The worst possible scenario has occurred." Aikuro said.
"It can't be, why is Ryuko attacking us?" Chisa asked.
"It's not her fault, but we still need to stop her." Aikuro said before turning to Tsumugu.
"I know what to do. I just hope this one knows what has to be done too." Tsumugu said while pointing at Izuru.
Izuru nodded as he drew the Buster Sword, "I will pacify her, but I require support unless you want to lose this vessel." he said before jumping down.
Aikuro then pressed a button on a switch, "You heard him kids, extra credit for anyone who picks up a DTR!" he announced.
"Try not to maim Ryuko, she isn't right in the head!" Chisa warned.
With Ryuko
Ryuko's rampage came to a halt when her next attack clashed with the Buster Sword. She found herself locked against Izuru who's gaze looked deep into her insane eyes.
"You're not my brother, but you are my brother." Ryuko said as images flooded her mind.
Izuru wasn't someone who can read someone's life story based on their actions and appearance, but he can tell that Ryuko has been manipulated. However, that didn't stop Ryuko's assault as she started slamming her Scissor Blade at him.
"You look like him but you're not him!" Ryuko yelled.
As Izuru blocked the attacks, Ryuko saw false images implanted into her head by Ragyo. She could see Ragyo being a doting mother with Hajime by her side. Like a good older brother, Ryuko saw Hajime teaching her to ride a bike, helping her study and even standing up to bullies in her defense. Except there seemed to be this strange contradiction where Izuru and Hajime were constantly trading places in these images.
Ryuko looked deep into Izuru's different colored eyes once she locked her blade against his.
"No, that's you but what are you doing? Why are you helping these jerks?" Ryuko asked, sounding annoyed and confused.
"You don't even know who you are anymore, do you?" Izuru asked before shoving her away.
"She literally lost her way. There's no use in talking to her." Fenrir commented.
"I know that." Izuru replied before parrying a sword thrust.
"But we're not killing or crippling her." Fenrir added.
"That is the plan." Izuru said before being kicked across the face.
Izuru managed to land without much more damage as the DTRs came rolling in. Each machine started to open fire on Ryuko while Izuru caught his breath. However, the nails were doing no damage whatsoever as Ryuko just stood there and tanked the shots.
"Dotonbori Robo." Ryuko said.
"THEY ARE CALLED DTR!" Aikuro screamed from the background.
Ryuko grinned as she destroyed them, "That's what I said, Dotonori Robo." she said, purposely frustrating him.
Ryuko then blocked an incoming sniper shot from Chisa's position. Chisa fired larger nails at Ryuko in an attempt to disable her.
"Ryuko, you may not have been a model student but I understand who you are! As your teacher, it is my duty to..."
"Shut up!" Ryuko yelled as she slashed at the air, generating a slash of energy.
Izuru jumped in the way and attempted to block the attack while Aikuro carried Chisa to safety. Izuru eventually managed to push away the energy slash before watching Ryuko marching up to him. Only to stop and hear another heel click.
"That sound really annoys me!" Fenrir growled as he instantly recognized Satsuki's presence.
Ryuko stopped and looked to see Satsuki joining them on the battlefield. Only now she was wearing Senketsu like he was just another pair of clothing. Not like Satsuki ever saw Junketsu as an equal let alone a partner like Ryuko did with Senketsu.
"Senketsu, if you let her wear you then you have lost any ounce of respect I have for you." Fenrir said.
"Quiet, this is no time for your mockery." Senketsu said, earning a huff in return.
Ryuko scoffed at Satsuki's appearance, "I see you also have Bakuzan. Mom broke it and you still cling to it like a baby." she said. "You even have Senketsu but I doubt you can synchronize with him entirely." She said.
"Satsuki is filled with surprises, but I feel like this is her limit." Izuru said.
"If the bitch keeps coming right back up after she gets hit by the worst, then maybe she's got something to prove." Fenrir said.
"You almost sound optimistic, let us see what happens." Izuru said as he took a step back.
Satsuki raised her wrist revealing the Seki Teko and snapped it with one of her Bakuzan swords. The Seki Tekko reacted as it normally would with Ryuko and started to do it's job.
"Life Fibers Synchronize! Kamui Senketsu!" Satsuki exclaimed as she transformed.
Unfortunately, Satsuki didn't have the bond with Senketsu that Ryuko had with him. That meant she wouldn't receive all of his strength or his abilities gained from the elections and cultural festival. Nonetheless, Satsuki put up a good fight against Ryuko.
To which Ryuko laughed at.
"You're pathetic Satsuki! I knew you were an entitled brat but this takes the cake!" Ryuko yelled as she kneed Satsuki's abdomen. "You don't have a bond with Senketsu and now you're weaker than before!" she yelled as she kicked Satsuki away.
Satsuki recovered quickly and raised her swords, "At least I did not give myself away to Ragyo's manipulations. Who is the weak one now?" she asked.
Now Ryuko looked pissed, "What did you say you bit…!"
*SLAM*
Ryuko never finished once Izuru punched Ryuko across the face. The impact resulted in Ryuko hitting the ground several times before nearly falling off of the ship.
"For once, Satsuki is in the right. You are pathetic Ryuko." Izuru said as Ryuko climbed back up. "Your rebellious nature is what motivated you to be stronger. Ryuko rushed at Izuru and tried to stab him. Only for Izuru to block the attack with moderate dificulty.
"Your strength is there, but it's hollow. Like Nui Harime, you are just a doll lacking humanity." Izuru said before Ryuko shoved him back. "A doll not knowing what love is. An empty substitute to fulfill the desires of a sad woman. So much so, that you you believed in such fantasies to feel happiness." he said.
Ryuko growled, "Shut up! Shut up!" she yelled before being sliced across the chest.
"And that is why, Satsuki Kiriyuin is stronger than you." Izuru whispered before kicking her towards Satsuki.
"Is it true Matoi!" Satsuki yelled as she kicked Ryuko back to Izuru. "Did you give into the false love of Ragyo and given up on yourself?" she asked as Ryuko hit the ship's deck.
Ryuko snarled as she slowly tried to stand, "You're lying! You're making fun of me and my mom!" she yelled as her delusions were slowly being burned away.
Ryuko could still see her false memories but they were sort of being burned away. Like an old outdated film real when the film itself is damaged during a viewing. The memories of Hajime being a good older brother was being ripped apart and images of Ragyo being a loving mother were also being distorted
"You never had a mother, you had a father. You said that he was cold and distant, but still provided for you. At least that is what you claimed." Izuru said.
Then Satsuki spoke up, "That is untrue! My… our father is kind and loving!" She said. "He would have raised Ryuko with difficulty, but he should have been caring!" she said as she slashed at Ryuko behind.
Now Ryuko started to see a couple of images of Isshin Matoi as Soichiro Kiriyuin being a doting father who bought dolls and a bike for Ryuko as a child.
"You're right, dad did love me. Yet you're making fun of him by wearing that slutty stupid outfit!" Ryuko yelled as she slashed at Satsuki. "Just look at that stupid thing! When I put it on, I felt like might as well be wearing transparent underwear!" she shouted.
"I'm not stupid! I'm your friend!" Senketsu said.
"And you fail to understand the side effect of Life Fibers. The more that are attached to your skin, the more likely you are to lose control. That is the purpose of synchronizing." Satsuki said before slashing faster at Ryuko.
"Actually, Dr. Matoi modified myself along with Fenrir. At the cost of a little speed and agility, we can cover more skin. It's actually a secondary material that's added to…"
"I did not ask you for a lecture." Satsuki interrupted.
"It also helps that Ryuko never thought about throwing chemicals or tried attacking your exposed flesh." Senketsu added as Satsuki avoided another attack.
"Senketsu, utilize Senjin Shippu." Satsuki ordered.
"A combined technique! Genius!" Senketsu said before giving Satsuki the power of flight as well as blades from her body.
While Satsuki rammed into Ryuko like a missile. Izuru cut off his hand much to everyone's shock before slapping it onto Mako's chest.
"Woah! I am not that type of girl!" Mako shouted.
Izuru then lifted her over his head, "I am bonding you to my Life Fibers. With Hajime, you two will break into Ryuko's mind." he explained.
"Uh, but aren't you Hajime?" Mako asked, not understanding the dual personalities thing.
Izuru ignored Makko and threw her at Ryuko. Ryuko lost her balance when Mako latched on.
"What are you? Some kind of bug?" Ryuko asked.
"No! I'm your best friend and I'll give you my speech once I'm connected through your brother's hand string thingy." Mako said as she slapped Hajime's hand onto Ryuko's face.
"Get it off!" Ryuko yelled.
Suddenly, Life Fibers extended from the fingertips and dug into Ryuko's head while the wrist extended some Life Fibers and dug into Mako's chest. Mako almost fell limp but unconsciously grabbed onto Ryuko. Izuru then grabbed a few ropes and tossed them to everyone.
"Everyone hold down Ryuko. This is going to take a while." Izuru said.
Inside of Ryuko's head
Hajime gasped as he woke up and found himself in front of a chapel with Mako next to him.
"Oh my gosh! Hajime, we're at a church and everything is… monochrome? I don't know, what filter is black and white called?" Mako asked.
"Mako, that doesn't matter. Where are we?" Hajime asked.
"You don't know? You started acting scary and threw me at Ryuko before telling me to go inside of her head." Mako explained.
"What? Damn it, I guess Izuru will give me the full story later." Hajime said before running into the chapel.
Once inside, the duo found Ryuko getting married to some sentient Life Fiber mass wearing a suit. Ryuko looked so happy but then looked furious when she noticed her friend and brother.
"Who invited you two here!?" Ryuko furiously asked.
"I object to this union!" Mako shouted. "Ryuko, you can't accept the Life Fiber. Because you are you and the Life Fiber wants to be you or it wants you to be it!" she exclaimed.
"Leave me alone!" Ryuko yelled.
Hajime sighed, "Ryuko, this isn't real. This is all false. Some sort of demented fantasy made by Ragyo." he said.
"No, this is real and this is what I want!" Ryuko argued.
Hajime put his hands on his hips, "Ryuko Matoi, as your older brother, I forbid you from marrying sentient string." he said sternly.
"Yeah, that thing doesn't even have a job! It can't support you financially!" Mako added.
Back in Reality
The Ultimates did their best to hold down Ryuko while Izuru and Satsuki tried to pull of Junketsu. When suddenly, Nui came down and tried to slash at them. Only for Satsuki to block the attack.
"Aw Satsuki, you always ruin the fun." Nui said.
Before Satsuki said anything, she saw Izuru raising the Buster Sword in front of Satsuki's face. Satsuki looked above the sword and saw Mukuro was trying to shoot at her from a REVOCS helicopter.
"I was wondering when the lapdog would come out of hiding. However, I am confused about one thing Nui. Perhaps you can enlighten me." Satsuki said.
"What do you want to know?" Nui asked.
"Ryuko has become the perfect daughter for Ragyo. Yet why do you have the scissor blade? Do you not trust her?" Satsuki asked.
"Well uh… you see… um…" Nui felt nervous.
"Actually scratch that, I don't need to know. What I want to know is, why do you still exist?" Satsuki asked.
"Eh? That's a stupid question!" Nui said.
Satsuki then looked at Izuru, "Izuru, if I could ask a favor. Please let me deal with the doll while you deal with the lapdog." she said.
Izuru gave her a blank look, "Very well." he said before disappearing in an instant.
"That guy is so uptight." Nui commented.
"You didn't answer my question. Why do you still exist?" Satsuki asked.
Nui rolled her single eye, "Because Lady Ragyo gave me life." she answered. Satsuki just laughed in response and it scared Nui, "What's so funny? Are you making fun of me? Since when do you laugh?" she asked anxiously.
"For all of Izuru and Hajime's faults and ignorance. They made a good point that I never bothered to concern myself with." Satsuki said as she drew aimed her weapons. "Your very existence annoyed me to the point I wanted to forget you. Yet, I was too distracted to realize the bigger picture behind Nui Harime." She said.
"What are you saying?" Nui asked.
Satsuki just snickered, "You are a doll. A doll given life to a woman who could not find love. I'm sad to say this, but I really am like my mother." she said. "I built so much, established a new system, crushed my enemies and yet… I have never felt love." she said.
"That's wrong!" Jakuzure screamed. "Lady Satsuki, we always loved you!" she yelled.
"I wouldn't call it love, but we got your back no matter what! Do you think I followed you because you told me to!?" Sanageyama yelled.
"There are many benefits to the life you gave me, but your presence is the main one." Inamuta said.
"Lady Satsuki forgive my rudeness, but when it comes to not being loved! For once, you are wrong!" Gamagori yelled.
Satuki gripped her swords, hiding the surprise as a smile creeped on her lips. Before Nui could attack, Satsuki stabbed her in the throat with one blade and in the abdomen in the other.
"Give me back my father's last gift. It belongs to my little sister. Not to some substitute my mother gave her affection too." Satsuki said as Nui gasped in pain.
"You…" Nui snarled.
Back in Ryuko's wedding
The three were having a heated discussion.
"Stop getting in the way of my happiness!" Ryuko yelled.
"You call this happiness!? Are you even looking around!?" Mako asked.
"Ryuko, you don't even know what's going on. Look even your groom disappeared." Hajime said.
"…you scared him!" Ryuko yelled as she drew her scissor blade.
"Snap out of it Ryuko!" Hajime yelled.
Ryuko was about to slash at them when she felt an arm grabbing her wrist.
"That's enough Ryuko." said a familiar voice.
"What?" Ryuko asked.
Everyone turned to see a figure in the shadows. As the figure stepped out, they heard him cough into his arm. The man revealed himself to be a handsome man in his late 20s with ginger colored hair and a suit.
"Who are you!?" Ryuko asked.
"Oops, this isn't right." The man said before letting go of Ryuko.
The man messed up his hair, put on an eye patch and somehow gave himself a hunchback. Then he suddenly grew a big beard before coughing.
"Close enough, do you remember me now?" the man asked.
Ryuko dropped the scissor blade in shock, "Dad?" she asked. "How?" she asked.
"Well if Hajime is here, then it only makes sense. I literally poured my blood, sweat and tears the both of you." Isshin answered.
"F-Father?" Hajime asked with wide eyes.
"Hajime, you're all grown up. Tell me, have you been keeping your little sister out of trouble now that you reunited?" Isshin asked as he stroked his beard.
"Oh my gosh, I have no idea what's going on." Mako said.
Back in reality
As everyone continued to hold Ryuko, Kazuichi stabbed a crowbar into Ryuko's chest and started prying it open.
"Keep her steady! I'm going to pry this junk off of her!" Kazuichi yelled.
Ryuko snarled as she slapped him away, "Don't touch me you pervert!" she yelled.
Kazuichi crashed and hit his head into the deck of the ship. He was then picked up by Nekomaru and Akane.
"Hang on Soda, I'm going to peel that dress." Nekomaru said as he picked up the crowbar.
"Not alone you won't." Sakura said with Gamagori nodding in agreement.
Akane grinned, "Yeah, the three strongest students at Honnoji are working together!" she cheered.
Kazuichi pulled out a few more crowbars and handed them over.
Back In Ryuko's head
Everyone except Mako was surprised by Isshin's sudden appearance in Ryuko's head.
"You're not real." Ryuko said.
"I'm very real, but this world isn't. That's why you need to leave." Isshin said.
Ryuko slashed at her father, "Even if that's true, why should I listen to you!? You were never there! I've been all alone and you went so far as to send away the brother I never knew I had!" she yelled as she repeatedly slashed at him.
Isshin avoided each strike with moderate difficulty, "Calm yourself Ryuko, I know I did a bad job. If it were up to me, none of this would happen. I planned to bring you into this when you were an adult." he said.
"An adult!? I had a crazy psycho bitch for a mom!" Ryuko yelled.
"Ryuko knock it off!" Hajime yelled as he pulled back his sister.
"Let me go!" Ryuko yelled as she thrashed around in his arms.
Isshin then stood in place, "As I have said, I did not do a good job. However, I did what I could for the both of you. Now you realize what would have happened had Ragyo been aware of the both of you." he said.
Then the spotlight suddenly came on.
"What on earth is that?" Isshin asked.
Mako then did her weird dance yet again, "Ryuko, your dad isn't perfect and he didn't do a whole lot but no one is perfect. Look at my dad, his kill ratio is super high and yet he still provides and mom can still make us yummy meals. You don't have to like your dad, you just have to understand him." She said.
"Mako, your dad is a hot mess but at least he was there for you. Sure he's a perv and…" Ryuko groaned as she stopped.
"I think you get what she means." Hajime said.
Ryuko just sighed but glared at her father.
"Ryuko, no matter how you turned out. I never stopped caring for you but now your brother everyone needs you. You are who you are and nothing less! Now go back out there and kill your psychotic mother!" Isshin said as the chapel started to fall down.
"Time to go!" Mako said as she ran out.
"And Hajime, we literally have no relationship but all I can say is build your own path. If that path is making tight sailor suits that expose…"
"That is not my goal!" Hajime interrupted.
"Whatever it may be! Find your own way and stick to it! Don't be someone you are not! Find happiness!" Isshin exclaimed.
Hajime nodded before carrying Ryuko out of the chapel.
"And it Satsuki still gives you a hard time then tell her this…" Isshin shouted before the chapel collapsed.
In Reality
"PULL!" Gamagori shouted.
With his strength along with Nekomaru and Sakura's strengths. They ripped off the chest piece of Junketsu just as Ryuko broke free of Ragyo's control. Ryuko screamed as she released a powerful wave of energy surrounding her.
"That's it! I'm killing Ragyo when I see her face!" Ryuko yelled.
"Ryuko is back and she's pissed again!" Kazuichi shouted.
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Makoto asked.
"Just move out of her way for now." Kiyoko suggested.
With Izuru
Mukuro was covered in so many marks, she looked like a shirt that was ripped apart by a dog. The Ultimate Soldier glared daggers into Izuru's head all of her weapons were shattered.
"The only thing that surprises me is your ability to adapt. A dog awaiting command and approval does not normally function." Izuru commented.
"At least I can feel. I can feel a sister's love." Mukuro shot back.
"Congratulations, you feel an empty void." Izuru said as Mukuro snarled.
She tackled tried to dig a pistol into his chest but found it slapped out of her hand. In an instant, Izuru kicked Mukuro in the leg and made her falter. Izuru dropped his sword and then dived for the gun before feeling Mukuro grabbing him from behind. Without second thought, Izuru shot three anti Life Fiber bullets through his chest.
The custom made bullets made him cough blood but his knowledge allowed him to avoid hitting vital organs. One of the bullets did hit Mukuro as they all went through his body. Mukuro collapsed and hit the deck with a loud thud.
"That's the end of one wild dog." Izuru said.
The Ultimate Hope looked down and saw Mukuro had a massive hole in her. Izuru then bent down and grabbed her combat knife before aiming for the chest.
"I need to confirm the death. Nui remained functional after she was shot." Izuru said, not believing Mukuro to be dead.
As Izuru prepared to carve out the Ultimate Soldier's heart. He saw Ryuko making her way across the deck at rapid speeds. Ryuko then picked up Senketsu and put him back on. Izuru nodded at Ryuko before plunging the knife in his hand. Only to realize he hit the deck.
"…I am called the Ultimate Hope and yet I failed to stop a sister of Despair." Izuru said, feeling emotion for the first time.
That emotion being disappointment in himself for letting Mukuro get away when he was distracted for only a second.
"I expected stupidity like this from literally anyone else." Fenrir said before noticing Izuru was looking sleepy. "Hey, what's the matter with you?" He asked.
"My work is finished." Izuru said before losing consciousness and falling.
Fenrir snarled as he used the small amount of control he had with Izuru/Hinata and tried to slow his descent. It didn't do much but luckily several students used their bodies to cushion the fall.
"Hinata-san, now is not a good time for some sleep." Kiyotaka said.
"Yeah, wake up! The fight isn't over yet!" Nekomaru yelled.
Hajime suddenly gasped for air as he woke up, "What happened?" he asked.
"Dude, are you okay?" Kazuichi asked.
"It looks like Mukuro Ikusaba got away." Sakura said with a sigh.
Hajime was about to question what was going on when he noticed his hand was missing.
"What the heck was I doing!? Where's my hand!?" Hajime asked.
Suddenly Barazo came rushing in, "Don't worry, Mako has it! But I need sturdy hands to help me reattach it!" he said.
"Mikan is already busy helping everyone who got injured during Ryuko's attack." Kazuichi said.
"I'm afraid some of us are also quite brutish." Sakura said knowing someone like her might do more damage.
"I'll do it!"
Everyone turned and saw Chiaki pushing through the remaining students.
"Gamers do have good hand eye coordination." Kiyoko pointed out.
"That's not a myth?" Makoto asked.
"It isn't." Kiyoko confirmed.
Barazo didn't care, "Okay little lady, you can win Hajime's heart back this way. Just do as I tell you and we can attach it back together." he said.
"Right!" Chiaki said as she grabbed Hajime's stump of an arm.
Hajime was about to speak when Fenrir interrupted him, "Your Life Fibers can reattach themselves with time but let them do this. Let your mate prove herself to you." He said.
Hajime sighed and listened to him. All the while he could hear Nui screaming in the distance.
"Nice try! You already cut off my arms before! I just need… DON'T CRUSH MY ARMS WITH YOUR HEEL!" Nui screamed.
"Oops!" Ryuko said sarcastically.
Hajime then looked for his sword, "Someone get my sword to Ryuko." he said.
"I'll take it." Nagito said as he picked it up.
"NOOOOO!" Everyone nearly everyone screamed.
Nagito took five steps before a random scratch card hit him in the face. Nagito then lost his grip of the Buster Sword and it went flying.
"How interesting, this scratch card is worth 5,000 yen." Nagito said as he picked up the scratch card. "Wait, where did Hajime's sword go?" he asked.
With Ryuko
Nui was looking furious at Satsuki and Ryuko, "I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" she repeated. "I'll get you both next time!" she said as she tried to fly away with her umbrella.
Only to be sliced vertically by the Buster Sword as it came crashing down. Nui looked shocked and confused as she split like a banana. Nui desperately tried to combine her two halves only to feel the heels of Satsuki and Ryuko on her face.
"This isn't fair! Lady Ragyo is supposed to win!" Nui shouted.
"Do not worry about her. I'm sure Ragyo has plenty of Nui's in her closet." Satsuki said.
Nui cried tears of anger as the sisters crushed her to death. Satsuki sighed and felt some satisfaction before noticing that Ryuko looked depressed. This was her chance to be a true sister.
"Is something the matter, Ma… Ryuko?" Satsuki asked, catching her mistake.
"I wanted to finish off Nui with my brother." Ryuko said bluntly.
Satsuki suddenly felt like she was punched in the gut, "But… at least we killed her together. Sisters, remember?" she asked.
"I don't want a sister. I always wanted a little brother." Ryuko said.
Satsuki felt like someone punched her in the jaw.
"He would say all sorts of cute things instead of being an overbearing older sister that tells me what to do. You know, someone that accepts me and thinks I'm cool instead of trying to take away my independence." Ryuko explained.
Satsuki then felt like her someone broke her spine.
"Satsuki, I still don't like you." Ryuko said.
Satsuki didn't feel any pain that time but was surprised to see Ryuko extending her arms.
"Look, if you promise to stop being a control freak. I'll at least hang out with you and Hajime can invite you to dinner." Ryuko said while looking hesitant to hug her sister.
Ryuko smiled as she extended her arms only to miss as Ryuko moved away.
"Crap, I forgot about Hajime!" Ryuko said, now running towards him.
Satsuki chased after her, "Ryuko Matoi, as your elder sister! I demand you hug me!" she shouted.
"You're not the boss of me!" Ryuko yelled.
"I am your sister and now your guardian! Therefore I have the right to supervise you!" Satsuki said before Ryuko stuck her tongue at her.
"Your sisterly love is so beautiful!" Senketsu said before literally crying out a waterfall.
"Ew! Senketsu stop that!" Ryuko said as she didn't want her clothes to cry.
