Katarina's Manor
"HEY ! NAKATA ! "
Being still picking roses, the young girl was surprised when she saw Zixa walking towards her.
" What else does she want? "
Trying to hide her frustration as best as possible, Nakata questioned him.
" What can I do for you ? "
"Where is your girlfriend?" Zixa asked. "I don't see Sakura anywhere."
Surprised by her question, Nakata looked around. However, she quickly noticed that Sakura was nowhere to be seen. She had managed to leave without anyone noticing her.
"Huh...I..." Nakata began, unable to answer Zixa.
"Tssss! I knew I couldn't trust you." Zixa growled, hurrying to leave the greenhouse. "If she ever takes the opportunity to break into the mansion and steal things, I'll kick your ass out of here."
Seeing her leave, Nakata couldn't help but groan.
"That idiot…she only gets me into trouble."
Immediately, seeing Zixa leave the greenhouse, Nakata hastened to imitate her.
"Gangsters?" Coby repeated.
"My grandson is a good person," Akim's grandmother assured him. "He just had the bad idea of hanging out with the wrong people."
"I thought the leader of this gang was the mayor's son! Is his father a gangster?"
"No! But on this island, there is a small group of thugs led by a man named Axyxo! He is a bandit whose bounty is 13 million berries. "
"13 million." Coby repeated.
"Since he has been here, Axyxo has been terrorizing the inhabitants of the island and preventing us from contacting the Navy forces to come and capture him! To prevent him from committing murder, the mayor of our town swore to him to leave alone in his illegal activities."
"So the Navy will never intervene to capture this guy." Coby understood.
"What does this have to do with Kenjo?" Coby asked.
"This stupid boy thinks he is a rebel above the others! However, he is just a boy who takes advantage of his father's authority! And to quench his thirst for power, he has decided to become the one of Axyxo's minions! And other people joined them!"
"Like your grandson?"
"Not at all!" Retorted the old woman. "If Akim decided to join Kenjo's gang, it was precisely to use him to tell him about all the illegal misdeeds that Axyxo is guilty of! Unfortunately, it seems that Kenjo has noticed this and is now treating him like his slave."
"Why did your grandson do something so dangerous?" Coby asked.
"It's because Akim has always believed in justice." Assured the old woman. "His dream since he was a child has been to become a Navy soldier."
Hearing this, Coby's eyes widened.
"He wants to become…a Navy soldier?"
Suddenly, Akim's grandmother grabbed Coby's hands.
"Please... by wanting to do good, my grandson became the slave of these scoundrels! To prevent them from attacking me, he decided to take this without flinching! But I could never live with the fear of not seeing him come home one night! Please...help my little son."
Coby remained still, even as Helmeppo and Jin ran towards him.
"Hey, Coby! Did you find the damn animal?"
Looking down at first, Coby suddenly ends up leaving.
" Coby ? "
Remaining silent, Coby couldn't help but remember his meeting with Luffy. Luffy was a pirate. A person who supposedly spent his life killing innocent people and pillaging villages to amass treasure. And yet, if Luffy hadn't been there, Coby knew he would have remained Alvida's slave.
"Coby?" Helmeppo repeated, following him. " Where are you going ? "
Suddenly raising his head, Coby affirmed.
"As a soldier, I must protect the city from all the dangers that threaten it! For now, tracking down this animal is only a secondary objective."
"Huh?" What are you talking about? What are you going to do ? "
"I'm going to help a Navy recruit." Coby assured, confidently.
Katarina's Manor
Discreetly opening a door, Sakura checked that no one was in a room resembling an office. Noticing that the place was deserted, the zombie entered the room and began to inspect it.
Walking towards a desk, she wanted to open one of the drawers. But she realized it was locked.
"Why do people always have fun making my life complicated?" Sakura wanted to know.
" HEY ! YOU ! "
A loud knock was heard and the door to the room was destroyed. Jumping in terror, Sakura saw Zixa enter the room, with an angry face. Having pulverized the door with a single kick, the young woman also had a bamboo sword in her hand, as she walked towards Sakura.
"May I know what you're doing here?"
"Huh...I...I..." Sakura began, stepping back.
"You're a spy, aren't you?" Zixa wanted to know, pointing her weapon at her. "Who do you work for?"
"I...No...you're wrong." Sakura assured. " Actually, I ... "
Not wanting to listen to her, Zixa brandished her sword in the air, before striking Sakura's face. The force of the blow was powerful enough to turn the zombie's head, which made a complete turn, before returning to its original position.
"What?" Zixa was surprised, although such a gesture should have broken Sakura's neck.
Suddenly, as if her own attack had hit her, Zixa felt an invisible blow hit her in the face. Groaning in pain, she placed her hands on her sore face.
"Don't... Don't hit me." Sakura, who seemed to be unharmed, advised her. "If people tries to harm me, they will take damage from each of their attacks."
However, seeming to be enraged, Zixa stared at her with rage.
" YOU LITTLE ... "
Seeing her attack again, Sakura quickly jumped to the side to avoid her attack. Hitting the desk in the room, Zixa's bamboo sword managed to break the piece of furniture in two, showing Zixa's power.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Sakura feared, quickly running out of the room.
Barely having time to leave the room, she saw Nakata at the other end of the corridor.
"NAKATA!" The zombie shouted, running towards her.
"Stupid girl." The group nurse roared. "Have you found nothing better to do than get us into unnecessary trouble?"
At that moment, she saw Zixa appear behind Sakura and start chasing her.
"You're not going anywhere."
Screaming in fear, Sakura suddenly felt one of her feet tapping against a carpet. Losing her balance, she collapsed with a crash against the ground and the shock was enough for her head to separate from the rest of her body.
"Huh?" Zixa was surprised, stopping.
Watching Sakura's head roll on the ground, she then saw the rest of the zombie's body crawling on the ground and tapping the ground in an attempt to pick up her head.
"But what...?"
Finally, managing to find her head, Sakura put it back on her shoulders. Then, she hid behind Nakata.
"This girl is really scary."
"I'm the one who's scary?" Zixa growled. "Tell me what you are! A monster? What do you want from Katarina-sama and Rika-sama?"
"Calm down." Nakata advised her. "If you want the truth, we're just two girls who were hired to look for someone who decided to work here."
"I suspected that." Zixa grumbled. "You have come to spy on this place and accuse the owners of this manor of organizing a cult or some other such stupidity."
"It's true." Nakata admitted. "But it is obvious that this is all false! There is nothing here that could prove that this place is a cult."
"Tssss! Obviously." Zixa groaned. "If the girls want to leave this place, they can whenever they want."
"Is this...Is this really true?" Sakura asked. "If that's the case, why doesn't anyone want to leave this place?"
"Are you stupid?" Zixa asked. "Many of the girls who worked here are long gone! In fact, three of our workers left at the end of last month so they could work elsewhere."
"What?" Sakura was surprised.
Hearing this, Nakata understood the situation and growled.
"Dyra lied to us! If you ask me, she just wanted her friend to leave this place and come back to her.
"She...She lied to us?" Sakura repeated.
Narrowing her eyes, Zixa tried to figure out if the girls in front of her continued to lie to her or not. Finally, she ordered them.
"You will follow me to Katarina-sama's office! She will decide what we do with you.
"Understood." Nakata assured her, walking towards her. "We don't want any more trouble."
However, discreetly, she took out a small syringe from one of her sleeves. Having already prepared a plan to escape, she wanted to get close enough to Zixa to then neutralize her by pushing the syringe into her neck.
But when she was only a few meters from Zixa, Nakata was surprised to feel a hand placed on her shoulder.
"What...?" She wondered, turning around.
"What's going on here?" Katarina asked, showing a big smile.
And before Nakata could answer her, pink smoke came out of Katarina's mouth. Unable to react in time, Nakata felt the smoke touch her face and breathed in some of it.
"Nakata-san!" Sakura feared, seeing the smoke disappear inside her comrade's body.
Staying still, Nakata appeared paralyzed. Then, her pupils began to shrink, as they took on a pinkish color.
"Nakata-chan...how are you feeling?" Katarina asked, continuing to smile at her.
At this moment, dropping her syringe to the ground, Nakata grabbed Katarina's arm before pressing against her.
" Katarina-sama ! I love you. "
"What?" Sakura was surprised.
Simply placing her hand on Nakata's head, Katarina then looked at the zombie, who could only display a stunned look.
"It seems your friend was controlled by my pheromones."
"Your pheromones?"
"Sakura-chan...I allowed you to work here and what am I hearing? You wanted to take advantage of my kindness! I don't find that very nice of you! Should I consider you two ungrateful girls?"
"Huh...we didn't mean to do you any harm in any way." Sakura stated. "We...we understood that this place contained no illegal activity! We're sorry for doubting you."
"Even if that's the case, I can only feel contempt because of this betrayal." Katarina affirmed.
Then, snapping her fingers, she ordered.
" Nakata-chan ... "
Immediately, Nakata rushed towards Sakura and grabbed one of her arms. Then, she blocked it in the zombie's back to immobilize her.
"Nakata?" Sakura was surprised, finding herself unable to defend herself. " What are you doing ? "
"I obey my mistress." Nakata replied. "And since hitting you serves no purpose, I have no choice but to immobilize you."
Trying to free herself, Sakura stared at Katarina.
"What did you do to her?"
In response, Katarina let wings similar to those of a butterfly appear on her back.
"I ate the Cho-Cho no mi! The butterfly fruit! With it, creating pheromones is easy for me."
"Controlling you…people?"
Taken by a bad feeling, Sakura turned to Zixa. Unfortunately, she noticed that the young woman's eyes were similar to Nakata's. She seemed to be controlled by Katarina's pheromones.
" Impossible ... "
"Now...what am I going to do with you?" Katarina asked.
Realizing that the situation had become complicated, Sakura ended up begging.
"Please! We are really sorry for having doubted you! But more than we have discovered anything compromising against you, there is no point in wanting to hurt us! Please, let us go."
Staring at her for a few moments, Katarina finally retorted.
"Sorry, but that's not going to be possible! I want you to tell me everything I want to know! I want to know the names of every soldier involved in this spy mission! I want to know everything the Navy knows on us! And above all I want to know who is the person who sent you here! But don't worry, I will give you plenty of time so that you can answer me... before deciding what to do about it! You. "
Snapping her fingers again, she ordered.
"Nakata-chan...you're going to follow me and take him to the basement! Zixa, go back and monitor the area and let me know if you notice anyone else spying on us."
"AYE, KATARINA-SAMA!" The duo assured.
And as Zixa left, Nakata began to follow Katarina, while forcing Sakura to move in front of her.
"Nakata...please...come to your senses." Sakura begged.
"I think that's unnecessary." Katarina retorted, continuing to smile. "My pheromones can control anyone's mind."
"Why?" Sakura asked. "This place seems nice! So why use your pheromones to control these girls' minds."
"It's simple." Katarina affirmed.
Arriving at the end of a corridor, Katarina grabbed a candlestick which she tilted downwards. Immediately, the wall in front of her disappeared and gave way to a staircase that led down to the basement. Then, Katarina turned to Sakura before showing a more evil smile.
"That's because bewitching them allows me to kill them better."
Being on the roof of a building, Emma was sitting cross-legged with her eyes closed. Appearing to meditate, the young woman had remained perfectly still for the last hour. Suddenly opening her eyes, Emma stared at Katarina's mansion, which was visible in the distance.
Seeming to be able to see through the walls of the building, Emma seemed to notice that something was wrong regarding Sakura and Nakata. Feeling the aura of the two girls moving strangely, Emma saw them disappear under the mansion.
Deciding to get up, Emma grabbed a den den mushi, before contacting Garp.
"Grandpa...I think I'm going to be forced to enter the mansion and intervene."
Being slumped in a corner, Akim felt blood flowing from his nose. Laughing, seeing him like this, Kenjo's gang was now in a dilapidated warehouse, which served as their meeting base.
"Look at this bastard! He looks ridiculous."
"You'd have to be a real idiot to think that infiltrating our gang to spy on Axyxo-san would be easy."
Raising his gaze slightly, Akim stared with hatred at the people in front of him. In total, Kenjo's gang included 12 people: 10 boys and two girls. Each of them were barely 17 or 18 years old, but they all acted like bosses.
For them, being part of Axyxo's group allowed them to have power. Seeing Akim staring at them, Kenjo grabbed the front of his shirt before lifting it.
"Who allows you to look up?"
The next second, his fist hit Akim's face and caused him to crash to the ground.
"The losers stay on the ground or at the feet of the winners."
In response, Akim groaned in pain, while blood flowed out of his mouth.
"Huh...are you sure this will be okay?" A girl asked. "What are we going to do if he ends up filing a complaint?"
"Don't worry! As long as we threaten to attack his grandmother, he won't do anything."
"It's true." Kenjo assured, with an arrogant smile. "Besides, I'm the mayor's son! Who would dare to face me? And soon, I'll become Axyxo-san's right-hand man! No one on this island will dare say anything to me."
Then he crushed Akim's face under his foot.
"Look at you! You're pathetic! What were you saying before? That you wanted to become a Navy soldier? That's ridiculous."
Only able to grunt, Akim allowed himself to be trampled, while Kenjo affirmed.
"The Navy is just a group of incompetent men! They are just weaklings incapable of facing the pirates! They are just losers who are only destined to be humiliated and killed by the powerful of this world. "
Hearing this, Akim suddenly grabbed Kenjo's leg before biting his ankle. Screaming in pain, Kenjo felt Akim's teeth hurt.
"YOU LITTLE…" He roared, hitting Akim with his other noise.
Getting hit three times in a row, Hakim finally let go, allowing Kenjo to place his hands on his sore leg.
" How dare you ? "
"The soldiers... are not cowards." Akim affirmed. "They are not cowards who use their father's position to believe themselves more powerful who are not! If your father wasn't mayor... you would be nothing."
Hearing this, Kenjo showed more anger on his face. Then, bending down, he picked up a metal pipe, before brandishing it above him.
"You're going to see if I'm nothing! I'm going to explode your skull."
"Hey! Calm down!" One of his comrades advised him.
Ignoring him, Kenjo aimed his weapon at Akim to crush his skull. However, he stopped when a noise was heard. Being suddenly opened, the warehouse door caused a creaking sound that was heard throughout the building. Having failed to make a very discreet arrival, Coby was in front of the opening, while greeting the group.
"Excuse me for disturbing you! I have to take care of something important here."
"Huh?" Someone was surprised.
"It's the soldier from yesterday." One of the girls remarked.
"What is he doing here?"
With a suspicious look, Kenjo saw Coby walking in their direction. Ordinarily, the boy would have an unconfident look on his face as he walked towards an unfamiliar group of people. And yet, managing to maintain his composure, the soldier continued walking towards the group of thugs.
Seeing him doing this, a few people couldn't help but look at him with some fear, not knowing how to react in this situation. For his part, Kenjo aimed his metal pipe at Coby.
"Hey! Don't come any closer! What are you doing here? Get out immediately.
Ignoring his order, Coby continued walking towards him...or rather towards Akim. As surprised as Kenjo's gang, the boy made Coby finally stop in front of him. Then, Coby questioned him.
"Do you really want to become a Navy soldier?"
"Huh?" Akim was surprised.
"If that's the case, I promise I'll help you become one." Coby assured him.
Finally reacting, one of the guys from Kenjo's gang positioned himself in front of Coby, before growling.
"Hey! Who do you think you are?"
Barely glancing at him, Coby affirmed.
"I have no desire to fight you! So, I'll give you a chance! Stop trying to be thugs and go home! This will save you from following a path that will only lead to regrets."
Hearing this, the boy in front of him started laughing, before tapping Coby's forehead with his finger.
"Did you hear? This soldier is really stupid! Bakayaro! Do you really think you're scaring us, stupid sol...?"
Not having time to finish his sentence or understand the situation, the boy suddenly felt something hit his throat. Gasping, he fell to his knees, with his hands resting on his neck.
"Huh?" Kenjo and his comrades were surprised when they saw him fall to his knees.
Having simply struck him with the edge of his hand, Coby faced his adversaries, while interrogating them.
"Will you settle this nicely or will you actually make me put you down?"
Hearing this, Kenjo growled in anger before ordering.
" Kill him. "
However, as two boys rushed towards Coby, they were surprised to see him disappear.
" What ? "
Moving at full speed, Coby found himself between them. Then, the next second, he hit one of them with his elbow before kicking the second. In an instant, the bodies of the two boys collapsed to the ground.
"Next." Coby said, staring at the people remaining.
Continuing to descend deeper underground, Sakura couldn't help but shiver, as a bad smell began to settle. Behind her, Nakata seemed to still be under hypnosis, while Katarina walked in front of the duo.
Finally, arriving in front of a large wooden door, Katarina opened it. Immediately, Sakura felt like she was going to die, as the smell became abominable.
"What...?" She was surprised.
Seeming to ignore the smell, Katarina entered a dark room. Forced to take a few steps, Sakura entered as well. At that moment, dozens of candles lit up to light the room. Freezing immediately, Sakura thought she was really going to die.
Sitting in front of a large table, a woman seems to Katarina seemed to enjoy a good meal despite the darkness of the room. Putting a piece of meat in her mouth, Rika then passed a napkin over her lips, before staring at the newcomers.
"Katarina…I'm in the middle of a meal."
"Sorry to bother you, Onee-san! However, I thought you would like to try some fresh meat."
Barely listening to their conversation, Sakura was completely frozen in terror, as she saw the numerous corpses of naked girls that were hanging on hooks, like animal carcasses in a slaughterhouse.
" What ... ? "
