" Wow., you really shot the volleyball at your friend !? "Willbie said with a rather surprised tone, though he looked a little amused by the matter as well. though sibella clearly not as much, exposed by the blush on her cheeks.
" you bet she did, right in front of everyone. " winnie suddenly exclaimed with a snicker,
sibella rolled here eyes and shook her head. " well, it certainly wasn't my finest moment, "
" but looking back, it was a little funny, " phantasma with slight amused grin, "
" but didn't it Hurt her ? " Tanis asked,
" oh, not really, I mean there was no damage done, Leona was just a little dazed but she was fine in the end," Elsa stated as sibella nodded with a confirm,
Wilbie let out a slight chuckle, he was already interested in hearing this story of the ghouls meeting before, but not this just added more to his curiosity on how things played out
" how did you recover from something like that ? "
" well say what ever you want but before that I didn't think I was cut out for such a sport, and that whole issue didn't exactly help me boost my confidence, " sibella said crossing her arm, " I mean no one let me live that down after the rest of the school found out about it, and it only got worse shortly after . " sibella began to tell the start again,..
Back in the tale
" This day can not get any worse, " sibella moaned, as she sat down by an old dead tree, with a hand on her head, the ghouls had all gathered around her as she moped on the matter.
" ah come on, it's not that bad, " Phantasma said trying to cheer her up, placing a hand on her shoulder,
" totally humiliated, you all got to see me make a fool of myself by seeing me injure my friend,, how is that not bad, ? " sibella looked up at her with salty glare, " it's funny, you elsa were worried about causing harm, and now look at it, the dangerous one is me, "
" Hey, I'm fine sibella, it's not like you knocked any teeth out, " Leona said,with a sheepish chuckle, " but really no need to let this get you in such a rut,
" well what ever you say, from now on I am not participating in that sport again, " the vampire ghoul said with a heavy sigh.
" But sibella, you can't give up, it was just one blunder, " Phantasma stated,
" A pretty funny one at that, " winnie quietly said
Elsa then shot a glare at her, to which winnie innocently shrugged "
" look I know how you feel, I'd feel the same way if I did the same thing, my strength is what I been worried about, being so strong, I wouldn't want to cause harm, but look, I plan on only trying to get better at getting the hang of it, you should feel the same way about your skills,, " elsa informed,
" thanks I guess," sibella said with a slight smile, then nodded to show like she understood,
" look, we'll give you some space for now, how about that, " elsa suggested, she then turned to the others and nodded at them,
they all soon made there way back to the Manor, leaving sibella alone, all expect leona,
" Hey,...i think you were doing fine today, just keep in mind, it was one day, and besides, it's like I said, I'm fine," she said giving a thumbs up to her friend, she then turned around to head back inside as well,.
Sibella sat there without saying anything,, then sighed, they were right, it was one day, and maybe, things will work better tomorrow for her, she then stood up and then quickly turned into a bat, she flew off into the air, she felt a nice flight would feel nice about now,...
later that evening...
after sibella had returned to the school, she made her way through the corridors of the mansion and over to her her Room. after today she was ready to turn in for the night. all she needed was a good night's
rest to forget about the events of today.
as she made her way down the Hall though. she passed two ghouls, one being a zombie who was wearing a Victorian Era dress and the other a reptilian creature with two bows placed on top of there scaly head,
as they passed by her, they both glanced at one another and began to snicker,
this caught sibella's attention as she looked over to see them smirking to themselves,
sibella itched her head but decided to ignore it an continued on her way to her room,
as she did she passed by one by another ghoul, named scarlet thumple. a Jersy Devil ghoul resembling a goat on it's hind legs,
she looked at sibella then started smirking to herself, which then turned into snickering,
sibella stopped walking then looked over at her,and raised an eyebrow,
" * ahem* something funny scarlet ? " sibella asked with an unamused tone.
scarlet let out a small Bleat,. and instantly stopped the snickering and grinned sheepishly,
" care to share the joke if you will, " she said crossing her arms,
scarelt then tapped her front hooves together and looked around awkwardly,
sibella conintued to stare at her waiting for an answer
scarlet began to sweat as she then bit one of her hooves, shen then out out a loud baaah, before darting away in a flash,..
leaving sibella standing alone on the hall. sibella raised another eyebrow then sighed.
" why are they acting so strange ? "
she asked herself before deciding to make her way back to her her best to ignore everyone's strange behavior,..once she had made her way back to her room and opened the door. she stepped inside, she shut the door behind her and let out a relaxed stretch.." ooh, now I can use a little me time, "
she then began to make her way over to her vanity to her closet to pull out her favorite Evening wear, a slim light purple nightgown, she pulled it out and began to walk over to her mirror .
" Turning in for the night fangs ? " she heard a voice speak behind her,
sibella let out a screech turned around startled..clutching the nightgown tightly. there she saw winnie sitting causally on a secondary bed that had been placed in the room, with her hands behind her head in a relaxed manner,
" eek, winnie...how long have you been there, and what are you doing in my room !? " sibella asked .
" eh ? im chilling what does it look like I'm doing ? " she said raising her eyebrow,
" um..well I can see that..but why are you ? " she said placing the nightgown down on a chair by her vanity mirror.
" well it's been a long day. thought i'd get settled in for the evening, " she said with a nod and smirk,
sibella looked around confusingly before speaking " well fine...but why must you do that in here ? "
" um, yes, cause this is where I was assigned to stay. " the wereolf stated scratching at her head with her claws
" what !? " sibella said widening her eyes upon hearing that news,
" I said this is where - "
" No no, I heard you, no need to repeat, it's just..why must we share a room ? " sibella said rubbing her forehead, not sure what to make if this sudden news.
" gee, sounds like you aren't all that keen with sharing a room with me " winnie said crossing her arms,
sibella though couldn't tell if she was offended or not for what she said, but didn't want to take a chance and upset her, " oh no, it's not that, it's just, is there no other rooms available or something ? "
" hey all I know is miss grimwood said I'd be bunking with another ghoul, and this is where she sent me, " winnie said while shrugging, appearing not to know the reason anymore then she did,
sibelly cocked her head for a moment " and she didn't inform me about this ? " sibella said confused,
" well she did try and look for you earlier , but you where no where to be found,
sibella though back for a moment, then remembered the flight she took shortly after volly ball practice, " ooh..yeah..." she said to herself..
" she said she'll talk to you tomorrow about it or something, until then. looks like were roommates, " winnie said hopping up and slapping sibella on her back,
sibella rubbed it and grinned a little weakly " umm, how charming ? " she said sounding a little unsure,
" so, I never had bunked with a vampire before, though never had bunked with any other kind of ghoul before either, save for my siblings, " winnie said jumping right back onto her bed, the springs causing her to bounce a few times before settling down,
" sibella forced a grin and nodded. " um well, please make yourself at home, after hall I hope your first night hear is, pleasant " she said picking up her nightgown, " Now excuse me while I'll go change, " she then headed towards the closest to change inside,
" ya don't have to tell me twice. I'm just going to unpack my things, " winnie grinned as she proceeded to get set in, by unzipping her bag of her belongings,
she reached in and pulled out a bone, which she licked her lips just from looking at, she then placed it under her pillow and went back to unpacking,
by the time she was done, there was stuff scattered all along the floor, and old chewed up tennis ball, to to an old chewed up rabbit, not to mention all the torn clothing that was piled up the the floor,
winnie grinned and looking satisfied with her unpacking and then sat back on her bed and dug the bone out from under her pillow, and began to gnaw at it,
sibella then emerged from out of the closet now dressed in her nightgown, she sighed feeling much more comfortable,
" now tell me winnie do you-" sibella then was cut off as she let out a small shriek, she had stepped on one of winnie tennis balls and fell on to her back..
the tennis ball shot up into the air from that an bounced off all the walls even knocking over a few things in the process.
winine quickly managed to catch it in her hand and tossed it into the air then let it land on the tip of her claw when it came back down,
" a little klutzy I see, " winnie said with a smirk,
" ugh, winnie, what is all this ? I was only in there for a minute ? " sibella said rubbing her back,
" it's my stuff, I said needed to unpack ? " she said tossing the ball back onto the ground and then placing her bone back into her mouth,
" but, look at this place now, it's a total mess ! " sibella said observing the chaotic room that was before her,
" hey you said to make myself at home..and this is how I have things back at home, " winnie said with a smirk,
" what I really meant was, just get comfortable, not toss everything you own all over the place. I mean what is this ? " sibella said picking up the old chew up stuffed bunny toy off the ground.
winnie looked over with her eyes widened. " oh that's nothing...just a chew toy ! " she said jumping up and grabbing the toy from sibella, she then tossed it away from her, she had a rather sheepish grin..
sibella just looked confused and glanced around..." uh uh, okay then...but listen to me please, if we are to be staying together, I think we should share a little ground rules. "
" rules ? oh please. who needs rules. rules are for chumps " winnie said walking back over to her bed and hopping back on
" They certainly are not, they make sure things are in order, something you seem to lack " sibella muttered that last statement,
" and who needs order or rules or whatever, not this ghoul, that's for sure, " winnie said pointing both thumb claws at herself,
" are you serous ? do your parents let you make a choice like that " sibella said sounding annoyed but also a little shocked,
winnie the jumped up onto her bed " well, my parents are the kind who want their kids to learn for themselves , make there own choices, and you see, compared to my 12 other siblings I'm considered to be the most wild, " she said jumping on her bed then landing on her rump.
" that, isn't too hard to believe, why on earth would they said you to a finishing school then if I may ask ? "
winnie chuckled a little, " i'm not too sure, My Pa said it'd be nice for me to get out and meet knew ghouls and experience different things in life,, sense being the youngest and all " winnie said digging into her ear and tossing out a wad of ear wax,
sibella winced., she never heard of such a thing, she grew her life with he parent's mostly her father, making sure she was always doing her best, and to keep on top of things and be well organized " ugh...maybe they secretly hope you'll mellow out a bit from being here " she said to herself,
" all I can say, sense I'm away from home, that'll mean I'll be able to make my own life style choices completely one hundred percent, "
" well I can only imagine how that's going to go, but really, if we are to make this work, would it hurt If I ask you follow some simple requests ? " sibella said crossing her arms,
winnie stopped jumping " eh...fine, I'll hear em, don't expect me to agree to them though, "
" Well, firstly, I would appreciate it if you would please keep your belongings to your side of the room, I like to keep things organized here " she said tossing one of winnie's torn shaggy dresses at her,
it smacked winnie on the face to which she pulled down, " anything else ? " she said in a sarcastic tone,
" yes, please, if you do, and I'm not saying all werewolves do, but if you happen to like to chase little things, please to not leave them in this room after you catch them if you no what I mean. "
winnie chuckled. " hey what do i look like to you, a witches cat or a griffon ? ". she said raising an eyebrow, " I mean sure it's fun to chase little critters now and again, but i don't think you have to worry about that, " winnie said chuckling,
" well I say that cause it will certainly leave a smell in here after a while, which I'm sure no one would want, and to be honest I think I been smelling something now, " sibella said sniffing the air,
winnie looked around and began to smell as well, " hmm, I don't smell anything, and trust me, my sense of smell, its ten times better then yours, "
sibella then looked at winnie and cocked her head, she then smelled in her direction and winced again.." uugh... it's coming from, you. I'm sorry. but you kinda..what's the word i'm looking for..not good. " she said pitching her nose.
winnie then looked down at herself, " heh heh, oh yeah, well it's like a werewolf to have a smell like that, " She said proudly,
" um..that is nothing to be proud of, why would anyone want to smell like that ? " she said backing up a little,
" well, like I say, werewolves are naturally smelly creatures, it lets anyone know to be aware and cautious that one is in the area, " winnie said baring her claws and teeth,
" well there is no need for that here, what you could really do for, is a Bath,," sibella suggested,
winnie then flinched a little upon hearing that, then let out a small chuckle, " heh No way. There is no way this werewolf is taking a bath " she said shaking her head,
" well if you wish to stay here, you'll need to sooner or later, you cant go around smelling like that, this is a finishing school and there are standards you Know "
" sorry to burst your bubble pointy fangs,, but I don't take baths, in fact, err, no wereolf does, it's a werewolf thing " she said folding her arms sternly,
" a werewolf thing ? what does that even mean ? " sibella asked not sounding convinced by that,
" simple, werewolves don't do baths, just like how you vampires hate Onions or something, "
" it's garlic, " sibella said a little annoyed,
" same thing pratically, anyway, all I can say is, it's never happening, " winnie said resting her back on the bed,
sibella raised her finger and was about to say something but stopped herself, mainly because she could not think of anything else to say...instead she she grunted to herself and walked back over to her bed and sat down on it,,
she wasn't going to let this get the better of her, so what if she was a little..messy and inconsiderate of others around her, she was going to get a good night sleep no matter what, and just hopefully forget about this day,
sibella stretched her hands and then turned out the lights and then got under her covers, she let out a tired yawn and shut her eyes...
" Aah-ooooooooooo !
sibella awoken from her slumber ad jolt out of bed, landing on the hard floor,..
" wha ! whats going on !? " she said standing up groggily then franticially looking around.
" Ah-oooooooo ! " the sound alarmed through the room again...
sibella looked over to her bedroom window to see winnie standing near on the ledge and looking out the open window, the bright moon shining in around her...
" winnie ? what on earth are you doing ? " sibella then looked over at her alarm clock to see it was 12:00 AM precisely,
" have you any idea what time it is, " sibella said groaning,
" of course, it's midnight, the witching hour to be exact . " winnie answered baring her claws,
" I know it's the witching hour...but what I want to know is why are you up making so much noise at this time !? " sibella said frustrated..
", Howling at the moon of course, it's a traditional thing my family used to do when ever there was a full moon, " winnie said nodding,
" sibella placed a hand on her face, " must you do that here,, I'm trying to get some rest. "
" why would you want to sleep at such a fine time ? " aren't vampires creatures of the night or something ? " winnie said letting out another howl at the moon,
sibella groaned and crawled back to her bed to lay down, and placed a pillow over her head hoping to drown out the wretched noise..
shortly after that, winnie finally seemed to be donwn as she hopped off from the ledge and jumped into bed again, where she let out a yawn and shut her eyes...
sibella waited for a minute or two, and heard no sound come from winnie, so she softly sighed to herself and got more conferrable in her bed and then shut her eyes...
" zzzzzzzzz ! "
sibella shot open her now blood shot eyes as she looked over to see the werewolf sleeping soundly on top of her blankets, her mouth wide open and drool leaking from the side, every so often she'd lout out a loud and irritating snore...
sibella proceeded to place the pillow back on her head once again...baring for the long night ahead...
