Dear Lady Sigyn,
I am very sorry that you are not feeling well, I was beginning to look forward to finally meeting you at tomorrow's dinner. But now I must listen to my brother's idealistic ramblings about his infatuations with war and adventure. Even conversing about empty lines of poetry would have been a welcome diversion from our family's typical evening discussions.
Speaking of frivolous poetry I requested that the afore mentioned book be added to my father's library. If I am to continue to tease you about your favorite literature then I should probably read it myself. I hope you like the flowers, mother refused to help me pick out the bouquet so if you like them then you're very welcome, but if you do not then it was the Allmother's fault.
I will end my letter here so that you may focus on recovering your health. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Sincerely,
Loki Odinson
