By the time they finally made it home and pulled into the students' garage they had a few more minutes until curfew.
Just as Uraraka was reaching for the door handle Bakugo stopped her. "What's wrong?"
"It's just that once we go inside all those losers are going to..."
"It's fine." She grinned placing a quick peck on his cheek. "I left my balcony open."
"Oh yeah?" He gave her a mischievous smirk enjoying the fact that she thought ahead as he walked around the car to open the door for her and she stepped out.
"W-well yeah since we're on the same floor it'll help." she said running to catch up to him as he jogged over to get closer to her balcony door.
Activating her quirk on both of them, they silently managed to get inside without any trouble or anyone seeing them. So, once she closed her balcony door, she swiftly turned to see him waiting for her.
"Thank you for the date, Katsuki. I really liked it."
"No problem. You know there'll be plenty more." He smirked, walking up to her, and gently placing his hands on her sides slowly caressing her waist.
"Really?" She gave a coy smile before getting on her tip toes and meeting his lips halfway.
"Uh-huh." He chuckled between kisses and walking backwards to the door. "Ochaco, I'm going to go."
"Ok." she mumbled opting to give him quick kisses instead and feeling him smile against her lips.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!
"The hell?" he whispered glaring over his shoulder at whoever decided to knock on her door at this time.
Shrugging her shoulders equally perplexed she made sure he was hidden behind her door before she slowly opened it to find Todoroki quietly standing there.
"T-Todoroki hey! W-what are you doing here?"
"Hey, I just came by to let you know that Iidas been doing his rounds and has been looking for you."
"Oh really?" she said curiously looking down the hall.
"Yeah, Midoriya and I have been trying to call you." he said wiggling his phone in front of him.
Pulling her phone out of her purse she could indeed see a few missed calls and messages from the two and her face heat up. "I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention."
"It's fine." He gave her a small smile, but she could see that he didn't look much like himself and seemed like he wanted to say more but decided against it at the last minute as he turned to leave. "I'll let you get to bed. Goodnight."
"Wait, Todoroki!" she said staring at him worriedly. After spending so much time with the stoic boy she could tell when something was bothering him. "Is everything ok?"
"Not really." He quietly said furrowing his eyebrows and averting his gaze to the floor. "I went to see my brother today…"
"Oh?"
"Yeah." Pressing his lips together, he slowly walked closer to her placing the back of his hand on her forehead. "What about you, are you feeling alright? You look a little flushed."
She could feel herself blushing even more and panic sink in once she heard the obvious growl behind her door. "Y-yes I'm fine I promise."
"Ok, well do you think that when you're free we could grab lunch and talk?"
"Sure. We'll set something up tomorrow." She gave him a gentle smile knowing that his visit this time must've been bothering him more. It seemed like anytime he went to visit his brother at the hospital Todoroki would come back even quieter than usual, at least as of lately, so of course she wanted to be there for him.
"Ok, I'll let Midoriya know to stop worrying." He gave a faint smile. "I'm pretty sure he's on the phone right now with David Shields daughter."
"I'm sorry about worrying you guys."
Once he disappeared inside the elevator, she quietly closed her door behind her breathing out a sigh of relief.
"So that was nice of him."
Rolling her eyes, she slowly turned to see Bakugo lazily laying on her bed. "Don't."
Grinning, he placed Mr. Snuggles down and hopped to his feet shoving his hands in his pockets. "So, when are you going out?"
"As friends you mean?" she eyed him. "Not sure, but soon. I know something's bothering him so I wanna help."
"No, I get it. I just like giving you a hard time." he said, grabbing her hand and walking towards the door. "I've put all that kiss behind us."
"Oh." her eyes widened momentarily remembering that she hadn't told him and anyone else would've missed it but of course being the observant type, Bakugo slowly pulled her closer.
"What?"
"I meant to tell you. But you already hated me at the time-"
"Oi I never hated you ok. I was just pissed and being a complete asshole." He rubbed his thumb over her knuckles. "So what is it?"
"Well…there was two times actually..." She awkwardly said rubbing the back of head.
"Two? Two kisses?!" his eyebrows shot up once he saw her nodding. "Are you shitting me?"
"No, look this was a while ago after the first-"
"Ochaco!"
"Just listen. I was just really hurt after what you said- and I know that's no excuse. But I honestly thought you hated me and that you didn't want anything to do with me anymore. So, he came to visit me one day at home with his sister…"
"What?"
"-and kissed me because he need help with something."
"Oh, is that how you're gonna help him?!"
"No!" she stared at the door making sure to keep her voice low enough before meeting his eyes. "Katsuki there's nothing ok. We're really good friends and I just want to be there for them." Seeing the small pout on his lip she gently cupped his cheeks, finding it amusing. "Trust me when I say that you're the only one I want."
"Tch, still can't fuckin believe you kissed him again!" he stubbornly mumbled.
"Yeah, and what are you going to do about it?" she gave him a playful smile.
Hearing the challenge in her voice he slowly smirked before leaning in. "Want me to show you?"
BANG BANG BANG!
"Ochaco, emergency girls meeting!" Mina and Yaoyorozu shouted behind her door.
"Jesus I'm about to break this fuckin door down Ochaco I swear!" he whispered yelled.
With one last apologetic look, she quickly opened her door following the girls down the hall and into the elevator knowing that he would make a break for his room as soon as they were gone.

"So, what's up Todoroki?" Leaning on her elbows she continued to sip on her water the next day while they patiently waited for their food to arrive. Since it was the weekend, they decided to go eat at one of the small family-owned shops since the cafeteria would usually be closed during that time and this place was close by.
They had asked Iida and Deku to join them, but they declined saying that they were still taking extra dance lessons with Mina after dance rehearsals earlier today before the band started on theirs.
Last night once everyone made it to Yaoyorozus room, she found Jirou silently sitting on one of the pillows with a sullen look in her eyes. Come to find out that Kaminari started dating someone from general studies and Jirou had just found out about it. 'Hope she's doing alright…'
"Uraraka?"
"Hmm?" Snapping her eyes up to meet his amused ones she inwardly scolded herself for being so caught up in her thoughts that she hadn't been listening to him. "I'm sorry Todoroki."
"It's quite alright." He gave her a small smile. "I had just asked how you've been doing since we all don't get a lot of free time anymore. But I think that answered my question."
"Sorry again, someone I know is just going through something right now and I just want to make sure they're ok." She continued to feel the need to apologize.
"You do that a lot." He mused while taking a sip of his drink. "You and Midoriya I mean. You're always worried about the people around you and will always try to help."
Smiling, she decided to take that compliment. "I think we all are that way. That's why we're here right."
Giving it some thought, he watched her from the corner of his eye before slightly nodding and surveying the area. "I've never been here before."
"Really?" she asked watching all the passerby's clutching their light jackets closer to them since it was a little chilly today with it already being autumn. "Since this place isn't that expensive and has great food, I come here every so often."
"Well thank you for sharing this place with me." He gave her a small smile which she returned. "And you were right yesterday. After my visit at the hospital…I don't know, something just feels off."
"Like?"
"Well, I actually didn't get to see my brother. And I haven't had the chance to for about a month now to be honest."
"How come?"
"I don't know." He said frowning. "Every time I ask to see him. They tell me it's not possible at the moment. That he's either had an episode or is currently busy with the doctor."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." she said, seeing the somber cross in his eyes.
"The thing is…when I last saw Toya, to me he didn't seem like he was backpedaling. In fact, it was quite the opposite. So, I don't know why all of a sudden, he would just stop his progress."
"Have you talked to the doctors about it or your family?"
"I have. And the doctors always tell me the same thing that since Toya's a special case, that he's bound to relapse. That any little thing could set him off after what he's been through. And when I talk to my family about it, they tell me that the same thing happened to them when they went to visit. It's just not adding up to me I guess."
"Hmm."
"They've even shown me videos on one instance when he just lashed out at one of the nurses."
"Todoroki…"
"It just doesn't make sense."
Opening her mouth to speak she stopped when the waitress came over to place their food down. "Thank you."
"Sorry I just made you drop your plans to talk to me." He quietly said eyes glued to their food.
"No don't worry about it, it's fine. That's what friends are for." She grinned, taking a bite out of her food and could visibly see him relax some. "When's the next time you're visiting?"
"In a few weeks." He said now digging into his soba.
"Ok, well I'll go with you."
Nodding he gave her a genuine smile. "Thanks Uraraka.'
Shaking her head, she eyed his bowl. "Are you ever going to have anything else besides cold soba?"
"Never." He firmly shook his head as she laughed.

Later that night while lying in bed she tried her best to focus on her homework but found it rather difficult with all the thoughts in her head. Todoroki was right. Something wasn't adding up. If his brother started to show progress after every visit, then why would he all of a sudden just relapse to a point where he might be considered dangerous again.
"Oi angel face, try and get out of that head of yours before you do some serious damage." Bakugo chuckled sitting on the floor with his own books but still managed to dodge the deadly pillow headed his way. "Too slo- Damn it!" glaring at her as the second pillow slowly fell from his face, he saw her clutch her stomach laughing.
"I'm sorry Katsuki, what was that?" she sweetly smiled.
Glowering, he made sure to grab both pillows and placed them neatly behind his back. "Now I'm fuckin keeping them."
"What-hey! Now I don't have any!"
"Should've thought of that before." He said placing his reading glasses back on and returning his attention to studying. "So, what's keeping you from doing the homework you're supposed to have done before."
"You know that last part wasn't necessary." She grumbled.
"It is when you don't do your shit when you're supposed to you damn slacker."
"Hey! I'm not lazy…I'm just very relaxed."
"Same shit." he smirked. "So, what is it?"
Debating on how to start she knew even before going out with this outrageously aggressive loudmouth hothead that he was usually one of the first ones she thought of when asking for honest advice, because he would tell you what he thought without a second thought. Even if it's something you didn't want to hear or could have been worded better.
"Did you know about Kaminari dating someone from general studies?"
Clicking his tongue, he placed his finger inside his book to hold the page as he looked over his shoulder. "I mean I've seen him talking with some extra from there, but I don't think it's anything serious. Why?"
"W-well from my understanding, Jirou just found out…" she saw the way he pressed his lips together as he put it all together and looked down at his book.
"So that's what the 'emergency meeting' was for."
"Maybe..."
"Listen Ochaco, I understand that you want to protect your friend, but this is something that has to be handled between the two of them. I already told ears before that she needed to talk things over with him, and the same goes for fuckin Pikachu."
"I know, but if they like each other…"
"Then they need to own up to it."
"But Katsuki, you know how long it took for us to finally see it so you can't say that, and I want them to get that chance."
"Oi I know I'm not the best when it came to that. And I know that if it weren't for that, then we would have been together a long time ago. Hell, sometimes I want to go back in time and just punch myself in the face for that." He smirked when he heard her giggle behind him. "All I'm saying is that sometimes you can't force these things especially if they're not even sure what they want. Ears looked like she was about ready to kill the guy today."
Exhaling loudly, she pouted her lips before leaning back down to face her books. "Fine, I see what you mean."
"Look I'll talk to him and see where he stands but that's all." He groaned already hating himself for mentioning it, but seeing her face light up was worth it.
"Thanks, that's sweet of you."
"Oh, shut it." He grumbled, feeling his cheeks warm.
Tilting her head, she felt her eyes soften as she stared at him. It never failed to amaze her how Bakugo was one of the strongest and most powerful guy she's known but yet managed to make her feel such warmth inside that it because hard to just put into words. She still admired him so much for his bravery, willingness to put his life on the line in an instant without a second thought, his determination to always do his best and win at all costs. But yet she had the honor of seeing this softer side of him. A side, not a lot of people had the chance to see for themselves and that…she was always going to treasure.
"Ochaco, you're doing it again."
"huh?" snapping out of her thoughts she saw him now frowning at her.
"What's the other thing bothering you?"
"How do you know?"
"Is there?" he smugly said.
"Ugh, I hate it when you do that." She rolled her eyes sitting straighter.
"So, let's hear it." he said, getting to his feet and throwing himself on the bed.
"It's Todoroki. He's having a hard time seeing his brother."
"You mean Dabi?"
"Yeah. It's been a month since he's seen him, but for some reason they won't allow visitations since he's not doing too well."
"But Icy hot said that he's been doing better." Bakugo said remembering a few conversations they had before leaving for the mission.
"Right, so I offered to come along with him next time."
Smiling to himself he stared at her for a minute, seeing the obvious worried expression on her face whenever she was trying to find ways to help people and that was always one of the things that drew him towards her from the beginning. How someone so badass who could almost drop a whole arena on his head could be this gentle and caring for others. "Ochaco."
"Yeah?"
Leaning his face closer to her he gave her a tender kiss on the cheek. "Never change."
"Huh?" Feeling herself blush she saw him give her a rare smile before he got to his feet.
"But I'll come with you guys, because you're right it does seem weird."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." He said over his shoulder before lightly tapping her on the head with his book.
"Alright-hey!"
"And keep studying."
As soon as he left, she pouted mumbling to herself before doing just that.

The next day Uraraka continued to nervously stare at her reflection in the mirror as she decided to put her hair in a ponytail since they had training class later that day and it would just save her time if she needed to go and hide in the bathroom for any reason since today was finally Monday.
She thought of having dinner with the Bakugos and telling her mom about the two of them was nerve wracking, but who knew that this was ten times worse!
She knew that her friends would eventually accept it, being the kind and understanding people they were. But what about today? Checking her phone one more time after sending Mina a quick message about meeting her in class instead she started to feel nausea and the butterflies in her stomach going mad.
"I can do this. I can do this I can- EEP!" almost dropping her phone at the loud banging on her door. She quickly managed to catch it in time, swinging her door open with a glare. "Why-why do you always have to do that? And why today?"
"Yeah, because you want me to come to school late!" he scowled in annoyance.
"It's not late! We still have a good 10 minutes left.' She argued knowing that it was pointless since he never went to school this 'late'. If it were for him, they would already be in class ages ago.
"Come on, you ready?" he said adjusting the strap of his bag.
"Um…yeah." She quickly grabbed her pink backpack and put it on as she closed her door ready to head off.
"Oi wait up." He swiftly grabbed her elbow, turning her to face him. "Morning." He smirked, giving her a lingering kiss that got her knees weak. "Alright, now let's go."
"Wha…" gaping after him she quickly made to catch up.
Once they arrived at the first floor, they were surprised to see everyone had already gone.
"See late!" he pointed out ushering them out. "Can't believe the first time these losers make it to class before me…"
"Ten minutes!"
"Actually it's 7 now!"
Rolling her eyes she came to a complete stop outside, almost crashing into him when he didn't move. "What now? 7 minutes remember." She mocked somewhat pleased with herself and grinning until she saw the serious look in his eyes.
Turning her head to where he was starring, she saw that they had stopped a few feet from the school's entrance. "Oh."
He gingerly raised his hand to meet hers, intertwining their fingers and placing a soft kiss on hers. "It'll be fine alright."
Furiously blushing at the gesture, she was surprised to see his face just as red. She couldn't do anything but shyly nod in return, already seeing curious stares from other students rushing to get to school. "K-Katsuki…"
"I know. Remember don't worry about them. It's just you and me."
Taking a deep breath and trying to control the churning in her stomach, she felt him give her a confident squeeze on her hand and that's when she realized that he was a little nervous too but for her sake he wouldn't show it.
Walking inside the school felt like the five minutes to homeroom was actually an eternity. 'Are my feet still moving?!' she thought since they had already become numb.
With the constant stares and murmurs around them that could be heard from other students. She felt his back tense up being aware of everyone burning holes into the back of their heads as he started grinding his teeth and glaring at some who quickly moved away.
Squeezing his hand in return to calm him, she visibly saw him relax as he leaned closer to her.
"See no big deal. Everything's fine."
"Uh-huh." She forced a smile, definitely not convinced.
Stepping into the classroom was another issue all on its own because the moment they did, all conversations seemed to stop the moment they saw them enter together holding hands. All eyes turned to them with more than a few audible gaps, jaws hitting the floor and the sound of a pencil being dropped as the awkward silence dragged on.
"Yeah…" Uraraka nervously gulped starring back at all the shocked faces of their classmates. "E-everything's perfectly fine…right?"
