They announced the cavalry battle.
"Um…who would benefit from my strange power?" Kuri thought. the best I could do is defense; I haven't mastered energy balls yet…
"Oi Birdie! Be on my team!" Bakugo called
"Huh? Katsuki! B-but I don't know if I'll really be any help to you…" Kuri stammered. I want to help him. He's amazing!ooohhh and to be that close…touching his muscles and his warm skin…
"You can do damn good defense right?" Bakugo appraised.
"But…" Kuri said in a small voice. "What if I mess up? I want you to win, so I'd better not…"
"And I want you on my team." Bakugo reassured. "Even if we don't fucking win it ain't your fault."
"You really think I can do it?" Kuri said hopefully.
"Hell yeah I do!" Bakugo cried.
"Reiko would you be on my team?" Deku called. "I need your luck!"
"J-just my luck? Really?!" Reiko was shocked.
"Yeah your incredible!" Deku cried.
Reiko blushed. "I'd love to!" She smiled.
"Awesome!" Deku grinned.
Reiko was excited. "So who else is on the team?"
"Tokoyami and Hatsume." Deku said.
"Awesome! This is gonna be great!" Reiko grinned.

"Um…o-ok." Kuri got on Kirishima, side by side with Bakugo. oh wow…he's so warm and strong, and I can't smell nitroglycerin…
Bakugo grinned. "We got this. You can do it."
Kuri created a barrier. "l-let's go!"

"Ok I'm going on top you get on with Hatsume." Deku instructed.
"Right! " Reiko gave them all some luck.
"Awesome!" Deku grinned.
They all began the battle.
After the fight finished, Kuri fainted.
Bakugo caught her and carried her off.
"Nn…K…Kacchan? Did…did we win? Did I at least…hold it to the end?" Kuri gasped.
"Yeah we did it!" Bakugo grinned.
Kuri touched his cheek. "Was I helpful to you?"
"Yes you were." Bakugo smiled down at her.
"Yeah…I should get going though. I-I'll talk to you later! Kuri ran off.

Deku groaned and got up.
"W-we did it!" Reiko groaned.
"Yeah I guess so!" Deku said in disbelief.
"Sorry about brother." Reiko sighed. "He…yeah…b-but we got second!"
"He's really wound tight huh." Deku laughed, watching them.
New chapter
"Ok! Ima fight Bakugo!" Kuri cried, wound up.
Deku choked. "Your gonna WHAT?!"
"He's on the bracket with me!"
"Damn." Reiko said. "He won't go easy on ya."
"I wouldn't have it any other way. If he can't beat me then we can't ever go out!" Kuri grinned.
Deku leapt to his feet. "BEAT HIM!"
Reiko's eyes widened. "Woah!"
"Oi. Bakugo!" Kuri ran to him. "Don't hold back."
"Like hell I will!" Bakugo snarled.
"Who am I against?" Reiko looked through.
"Shinso." Deku told her.
Kuri headed out with a hop, skip, jump.
Bakugo headed out as well.
Kuri got into a circular fighting stance. "Merry Meet Katsuki Bakugo." She inclined head to him, then kicked up. "Kekkai! Guarding Feathers!" Her barrier came up-.
"I don't know anything about him. But I think he has a brainwashing quirk based on the events of the cavalry race." Deku commented. "Damn Sis! She shouldn't have said "feathers" Kacchan knows what to look for now!"
Bakugo smirked and attacked.
"Ahhh so don't answer him." Reiko said. "And yeah she's totally lost now"
"Heh." Kuri leapt up above him. "Binding feathers!" Kuri got him. "Gotcha! N-now…"
"He let her get him. He's figuring her out. Kacchan's never seen her quirk." Deku said
Bakugo blasted a few feathers and got up to her. "Who do you have?"
"Hm? Not you?" Kuri strung her spirit bow. "Or maybe. Point. Blank. Shot." She hit him in the chest with a feather arrow knocking him flat.
"Whoa!" Deku clapped. "She's really improved her shooting!"
"Fuck!" Bakugo groaned. "You've gotten stronger." He blasted up and knocked her down.
"Wow!" Reiko cried.
"Nn!" Kuri looked up at him. "Nice view. You can blast and blast but you won't penetrate my barrier Boom Boy.
"Yea but that just means he can blast her little ball anywhere he wants without having to temper his quirk!" Reiko cried.
"Bakugo blasted the barrier aside. "Heh. I got ya now though."
Kuri put it up again. "No! I won't let you!"
Bakugo knocked her out of bounds.
"What?! Crap. I turned myself into an idiotic bouncy ball." Kuri got up, smacking her own forehead. "But!" Kuri pointed at him. "In a real fight you wouldn't be able to scratch me! Your bombs don't work against villains that have shields. Work on that!" Kuri was unconsciously trying to help him, but ran off before he can figure it out.
"And she just turned a fight into a lesson." Deku laughed. "She's so embarrassed it's adorable! Ha ha ha!"
