My Forever Love-Ch 6
The next morning Penelope woke up early and made her way downstairs, she was nervous, Penelope Grace Garcia was nervous, today was the day she was suppose to get married to the love of her life. Today was the day that she finally got to marry Derek Michael Morgan butttttt there was one big problem that was keeping that from happening and that problem was that so far Derek and the team are away on a case.
Penelope blew out a deep breath and said, "come on handsome, don't let me down, don't let your baby girl down", she sighed as she stepped off of the bottom step and made her way toward the kitchen to see if anybody else was up. She grinned when she saw Fran sitting with Jack and Henry as they ate breakfast, she ruffled the two little boy's hair and said, "goodddddd morninggggggg", they giggled and said, "mornin" as they looked up at her.
Penelope looked at Fran and said, "have you heard anything from Dave or Derek?", Fran shook her head no and said, "not yet but I'm sure they will call when they can honey so try not to worry". Penelope said, "I'm trying Fran, I'm trying but we're suppose to get married in a few short hours and I have no idea what's going on", Fran put her hand on top of her future daughter in laws and said, "here, why don't you have something to eat" as she put a platter filled with muffins and donuts down with her a cup of tea.
Fran watched as Penelope took a bite of her muffin and then a sip of her tea, she watched as Penelope calmed right now, she never doubted Penelope's love for her son nor her sons love for Penelope. Derek was head over heels in love with Penelope and that was obvious from the first time he'd talked to his mom about her.
Sarah and Desi walked into the kitchen and said, "good morningggg" in unison, Penelope looked up and said, "good morning ladies", Desi said, "have you heard anything from big brother yet?", said, "not yet but I'm sure he'll call when he can". Desi said, "oh no doubt about that P, no doubt about that at all, he loves you with his whole heart and nothing or nobody will stop him from being here today and marrying you".
Fran said, "alright, let's enjoy a small breakfast, then we'e got things to do because today is the big day, today is the day that Penelope becomes my daughter in law", Penelope grinned and said, "I can hardly wait". Henry and Jack were just finishing up their juice and cereal they then looked up at Fran and smiled, she said, "alright you two, you can go play for a while, we'll let you know when it's time to get dressed for the wedding".
The two little boys giggled and hugged Fran and Penelope before running from the room, Penelope said, "ohhhh too have a quarter of that energy would be wonderful wouldn't it?", to which the trio of Morgan women said, "definitely" before the four women started all laughing as they continued eating their breakfast.
Penelope was getting up from the table when her cell started ringing, she smiled when she saw "Hotstuff" flashing on her ID, she hit talk and said, "hiya handsome", Derek said, "hey beautiful, well we are finally wheels up and should be there soon, we might be a little later but don't worry we will be there".
Fran watched as her future daughter in law smiled, she too had gotten a call and Dave told her that they would be late but that they would be there and for Fran and the girls to go ahead and get the boys dressed and ready and help Penelope get dressed. Fran said, "don't worry about us, we'll be fine, we'll be dressed and ready for you when you get here, just please, please be safe", Dave said, "always Bella, always".
Before the call ended Dave promised that he'd call Fran when they landed at the airstrip, Fran looked over at Penelope and smiled at the bride to be who was still laughing and talking to her future husband. They'd talked for quite a while before Penelope got off the phone so that Fran, Sarah and Desi could help her because it was time for her to start getting dressed and ready for her wedding.
As they headed up the stairs Penelope was all smiles, she was all smiles because she knew in a few short hours she would finally be Mrs. Derek Morgan, her dreams were finally all coming true.
