This 1-shot AU story from my Emma and Eli Universe follows the Castle family encounters and characters from "Best Spring Ever!" Rick and Kate Castle have undergone several changes in their family dynamics over the past years. Many locations and characters are the property of ABC Studios Productions and Andrew Marlowe. The Great War, later known as World War One is over. However, Richard Castle, commanding a US Navy destroyer in the Baltic Sea finds that the Great War may be over, but there's plenty of fighting still going on.

The team has to participate in a team building measurement: A weekend of camping in the woods with activities to strengthen their partnerships. What will this trip do to Castle and Beckett? Of the three things Kate Beckett values most in her life, literature stands out. That's why she ends up going to that book launch party for her favorite author, even though she thinks the new saga isn't as good as the one that came first. She just had no idea what it would entail in her life, let alone how Richard Castle could be even more than she used to believe.

It takes place after THE NOSE (Ep 05) and goes AU from there. Kate realizes that it's stupid to hunt LokSat on her own to protect the ones she loves because they will always be in the crosshair especially since they all know about LokSat. Whenever a case might be connected to LokSat their lives will be in danger. So they team up to find LokSat and take them down – together.

Third time would be the charm, he's sure of that...God, the marriage-averse version of him from just a few years ago must be rolling in his grave. A 4x11 post-ep AU. COMPLETE
