Nathan stumbled out of the bathroom of the log cabin, Sully sitting comfortably on the couch while Naveena stood in the kitchen frying up some pigs feet. "Wheres Sam?" Nathan asked buttoning his shirt before he finished drying his hair. "Eh, take it easy, Casanova." Sully quipped holding up both hands as Nathan shook his head while glancing around the cabin. "She's outside, talking to her boss. I figured it'd probably be better if we didn't have the authorities looking for us on kidnapping charges." Nathan glanced through the large window to see Sam sitting on the edge of the hot-tub; holding the cell phone against her ear. "kidnapping?" Naveena quickly gazed up. "It was all a misunderstanding." Sully assured the woman as she nodded before returning to the pigs feet.

Nathan tossed the towel into a bin of dirty laundry before making his way out through the patio door. "Fucker!" She yelled tossing the phone on the lawn chair. "I come in peace!" Nathan surrendered as she sighed. "I'm sorry. What happened with your boss?" Sam bit her lip for a moment before she cleared her throat. "Mac has been having the entire police force looking for me; and I didn't wanna get you guys in anymore trouble so I said that we were ambushed and I went with you and Sully on my own; which means that countless hours of search and rescue were wasted...He fired me.." Sam clicked her tongue while nodding, a single, faint tear slipping down her cheek. "I don't even think im upset...The job wasn't me but I worked very hard to get it and...it's just gone."

"I'm sorry, Sam. I'm so fucking sorry." Nathan didn't regret getting her out of there especially with the heat that they had coming down on them but he hated thinking that she'd lost her career over him. "Nathan. it's fine. I probably would have quit on my own but it just; it's never fun being dismissed like trash on the side of the road." He understood that, probably even better than Sam but he just nodded along, taking a seat beside her on the edge of the hot tub. "I have made a lot of mistakes in my life..." Sam glanced down in a reflective manner as Nathan huffed with sarcasm. "Well, join the club! Mistakes are like the treasure maps of life. You make a wrong turn here and there, but eventually, you stumble upon the hidden loot." He playfully elbowed her on the shoulder.

"I'm being serious, Nate! I've done a lot of genuinely rotten things; way worse than either you or Sully. I mean, I was married to the fucking mob for christ sakes." She instinctively wiped a few tears from under her eye. "I guess that you would know about us; since you had our files.." Sam sheepishly nodded almost afraid of facing him. "In my defense. I was the leading investigator on your case so I needed as much information on you as possible." He leaned back, nearly landing in the hot-tub before bracing himself before a faint smile formed on his lips, Sam letting out a breath of relief. "Sam, I'm not going to say that I liked finding my records in your bag or that it didn't give me pause on whether or not we could trust you, but I get it, just; if you want to know something, just ask me, okay?"

Sam listened intently before nodding; it was the first time she and Nathan were actually getting on the same page. "What do you think you are going to do once this thing is over?" She shrugged her shoulder. "I don't know. I guess, I don't know. I think I might go back to doing salvage work." Nathan sucked in a breath of air before he actually did fall into the hot-tub taking Sam with him as they both crashed into the warm water. "Nathan! you asshole!" She screamed, both of their legs kicking in the air before their entire bodies were drenched, Sam standing up, her hands running through her wet hair. "I didn't know that you had experience in salvage work! weren't you an heiress?" Nathan asked standing up as Sam climbed out of the hot-tub, tossing him a towel and grabbing one for herself.

"What the hell does that have to do with anything? I mean, I was raised as an heiress, yes but I also had a professor in college who was a world-class archaeologist. When I left the whole 'heiress' lifestyle behind, I found my calling in the thrill of the sea for treasures." Nathan was silent for a moment; just taking her in, her beauty, strength and capabilities rendering him unable to look away from her. "What?" She asked as he licked his lip before closing the distance between them and embracing her in a passionate kiss. "What the hell, Drake." She pulled away with a chuckle; his expression bright and lit up. "What's gotten into you?" She asked as he shook his head. "I don't know. I just. You are so fucking beautiful." He exclaimed before leaning in and kissing her again, this time, she deepened it.

"Hey lovebirds, dinner is served...Will you two cut that shit out." Sully poked his head out before chucking a magazine towards them. "& get yourselves dried off, you look like two drowned rats!" Sully snorted with a guffaw before slamming the door behind him. "I guess we better get in there." Sam breathed out with a smile, Nathan's arms still draped around her hips. "I don't know. I could stay out here a bit longer." He murmured before he quickly picked her up, attempting to drop her into the hot-tub but she only pulled him in with her as they both crashed back into the steaming water. "you are such an ass." she laughed out splashing him with water as he passionately pulled her towards him, enveloping his mouth on hers while hoisting her legs up around his hips.

"Those two are unbelievable." Sully sighed taking a sip of coffee as Naveena peered up behind her; her curly, espresso locks bouncing with each shift in her small frame. "Sully, they are in love." Her accent was strong as Sully quickly glanced at her. "Naveena, they don't know each other! I just don't wanna see either of them; especially my boy get hurt." Naveena nodded. She and Sully had known each other for a long time; and she'd heard plenty about Nathan but it was the first time she'd ever gotten to actually meet him. "Sully, let me give the boy a reading." She urged as Sully quickly shook his head. "Oh, no. Naveena. He won't let you into his head and besides, he doesn't buy into that shit." Naveena sighed glancing out at Nathan. "What about the girl? I can see if this thing that's developing between them is real."

"Naveena, quit trying to psycho-analyse my kids with your hocus-pocus. Let them figure it out on their own." Sully leaned back, a stern look on his face. Naveena raised an eyebrow, her eyes flickering with a hint of mischief. "You know, Sully, sometimes love needs a little magic. But if you don't want me to meddle, I won't." She smirked before returning to the kitchen and fixing plates of food. "What time are you leaving tomorrow?" She asked him as he brought the cup to his lips. "Early. I'm thinking around four, that way we can hit India before sunlight." Naveena nodded; her expression showing reluctance and concern. "Victor, please be careful. I've heard things around the way. There's unrest in these parts; and it's not just the kind that you can explode and shoot your way out of." her eyes pleaded with him.

Sully sighed; his gaze softening. "I always am, Naveena. But you know me, I can handle a few bumps in the road." She gave him a stern look. "Bumps in the road? sure, but not all out landmines waiting for for you to brace by before going off." Naveena had lived her entire life in Dhankar and had rubbed elbows with some of the most seasoned and unpredictable criminals in the village. "What have you heard?" He asked, guzzling the last bit of coffee before placing the cup in the sink. "There's just been talk in the village, whispers of factions vying for control." He nodded while listening. "There's one specific man. I've only seen him a few times but he's of Puerto Rican descent; he's been seen around here looking for something called the Heart of Eden." Sully shifted uncomfortably but his gaze didn't break from hers.

"He got a name?" Sully asked as Naveena paused for a moment; thinking back to recall his name. "Michael Corinthos but everyone just calls him 'Sonny'." He swallowed hard glancing back out towards the sounds coming from Sam and Nathan outside. "We may leave a few hours early." Sully announced as an array of bullets pierced through the air before Sam and Nathan were diving into the cabin; both of them practically naked. "We've got company!" They both shouted, urgency in their voices. Sully quickly grabbed his weapon, his instincts kicking in. "It must be Corinthos!" Sully yelled as Naveena pulled out her own gun. "Who?" Sam quickly stood up, sliding her jeans over her glistening skin while Nathan tore his gun from the holster on the couch, not even bothering to slide on a pair of boxers. "Sonny Corinthos?"

Sam's eyes widened in shock as another wave of bullets sent them all crouching low to the ground. "Do you know him?" Nathan asked her as Sam nodded. "He's my ex-husbands don!" Sam quickly pulled out her gun; crawling to the window. "Sam, be careful!" Nathan observed as she maneuvered herself against the wall; knelt down close to the ground with her gun on standby. "Sonny!" Sam called out as Nathan and Sully quickly tried to hush her while she shook her head. "Sam?" She could hear him say before a long pause. "Sonny, I'm gonna come out but put your boys on standby. We can talk, no more shooting." Sam's voice carried a mixture of authority and vulnerability. She glanced back at Nathan and Sully, silently signaling them to be ready to run.

Sonny's voice, gruff and assertive, responded, "Come on out, Sam. But make one wrong move, and we won't be having a chat."She'd never known this side of him. It was true that she hadn't been a part of that circle in years; and Sonny did have a ruthless streak but he'd never shown it to her when she and Jason were married. Sam slowly stood, Nathan shaking his head in disapproval but Sully firmly held him at bay as Sam slid the gun into her jeans before slowly opening the door and stepping out. Sonny was standing firmly by a limo, dressed in a black suit with his hair slicked back, very much true to how she'd always seen him and with him stood...Jason. Sam fought the urge to turn and walk back into the cabin, damning this entire situation. Jason's presence, unexpected and unsettling, threw her off balance.

"Sam." Sonny greeted, his eyes sharp and assessing. "Long time, no see." He said embracing her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah." Sam replied, trying to keep her voice steady. "What brings you here, Sonny?" She asked him while crossing her arms, hoping to steady her heartbeat as Sonny gestured to Jason and Max, who peered up on the other side of the limo. "We're here for the Heart of Eden but what I am concerned about is what are you doing here? The last I heard was that you turned rats and decided to wear a badge, what the fuck are you doing here?" Sonny shouted; his patience obviously thin. "I am actually on a case! Yea, I thought I had Drake and Sully where I wanted them, then they caught on and tied me up, ditching me out here." Sam lied as Jason focused closely on her.

"Well, that's unfortunate but the problem is whether or not we leave you...or kill you." Sonny gazed at Jason, his expression still unreadable as Sam instinctively brought her hands closer to her thigh. "I know where their headed." Sam uttered, her panic obvious in her voice. Sonny's gaze intensified as he weighed Sam's words before yanking her towards him, his gun resting firmly on her cheek. "If you're lying to me, Sam, the consequences won't be pretty. You know what I'm capable of." Jason cleared his throat as Sam violently shoved Sonny back. "I know what your associates are capable of!" Sam shot back. "Their heading to Alaska, there's some temple, I don't know. it's stars with a B but the Heart's supposed to be in Valdez, that's all I know!" Sam threw up her hands before turning to walk away.

"Hey. Cassadine. Thanks for the information.." Sonny chuckled as he strolled back to his limo with Jason and Max following behind him. She waited till they were gone before she slipped back inside, her body shaking with uneasy nerves as Sully and Nathan rushed towards her, Nathan now dressed with both of their bags over his shoulders. "Are you okay?" They both asked as she let out a rugged breath before nodding. "I think I knocked them off the trail but I don't know how long it'll stay that way before their onto us again but I think Jason knew that I was lying so we need to go, now!" Sam insisted as Sully and Nathan quickly took off out the door, glancing around to make sure that the limo is out of site before hurrying towards a black tarp, pulling it lose to reveal the helicopter.

"Wait, your exhusband was with him?" Nathan turned to face her as she nodded. He threw the bags to Sully as Naveena rushed out with bags of food for them. "This isn't much but it's the best I can do. You all take care of yourselves, take care of each other." She ordered as they nodded before climbing inside, Sully leaning out and kissing her cheek before starting the helicopter, it lifting off the ground with her waving at them from down below. "Sam, what's the deal with you and Corinthos?" Sully turned to face her as she sighed. "It's a long story." She didn't really wanna get into it; it was painful for everyone involved and it lead to her entire family practically disowning her. "We have a long ass trip. I mean, if it's too personal, fine but we really need to know what we're up against." Sully finished as Sam nodded before breaking down her whole life story which lead to her marriage with Jason and the affair with Sonny that destroyed it.
