Wolf Princess Chapter 29
On our way back up to the surface Professor McGonagall and Remus gave me a quick lesson about the type of money I would now be using. The bronze ones were Knuts, silver were Sickles, and gold known as Galleons.
They efficiently explain to me about the worth of all this currency. Like 29 Knuts to a Sickle and 17 silver Sickles to a Galleon. That sort of thing.
As soon as our group returned to the main level we went over to the station where Taloncrick worked. Once there Taloncrick brought out the papers finalizing my official ownership of that vault As Professor McGonagall had promised she signed them for now in her name until I had learned to do it myself. Once that was done we left Gringotts filled with full pouches of money.
The moment we departed from the bank my curiosity grew all over again. Now that I have the means to buy things I know exactly where to go first.
Professor McGonagall quickly decides, leading us over to a clothing store which later I learned is called Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions.
A squat woman approaches with a broad smile on her face.
"Ah Professor McGonagall, Professor Lupin, what can I help you with today," she asked, kindly. "Do you need some new robes or have something patched up?"
"Nothing for either of us today, Madam Malkin," said Remus, "but our friend here is another story."
Remus gave me a signal and I proceeded to step forward, making sure that my cloak still covered everything.
Smiling, Madam Malkin said "Hello, Dear."
"Hello," I said, mirroring her smile.
Returning her gaze to my companions, Madam Malkin asked "What does she need done?"
"A whole new wardrobe," answered Professor McGonagall, "the clothes she has right now are not very suitable for life at Hogwarts."
"You're going to Hogwarts," said Madam Malkin, brows furrowed. "You seem a little old to be a student, aren't you?"
Correcting the statement, Remus said "She isn't a student," said Remus. "Once the term starts she will be assisting Hagrid in Care of Magical Creatures."
"Oh, so you're to be a new Professor," said Madam Malkin, intrigued.
Shrugging, I said "Something like that."
Turning the conversation back to why we were there, Professor McGonagall said "Anyway she now needs new clothes that suit her new position and a set of robes she can wear on special occasions."
"Of course, if she steps right up here I can get her measurements," said Madam Malkin, obligingly, gesturing to a stool on a platform surrounded by some mirrors.
After a signal from my companions, I stepped toward the area.
"You can leave those here," said Madam Malkin, gesturing toward my weapons.
I tighten my grip on them. Like at Hogwarts I am reluctant to let them go for some strange reason.
Sensing an argument about to arise, Professor McGonagall stepped right in, saying "These are dangerous times we're in, Madam Malkin. She's rather keen on keeping them close by in case of an attack."
Nodding in understanding, Madam Malkin said "But surely she can just use her wand."
"She could," began Remus, "but having a weapon out already is quite resourceful."
"Why does she have them with her in the first place," asked Madam Malkin.
"She's a hunter," answered Remus. "A bow is just her weapon of choice."
Understanding that point of view Madam Malkin got out her measuring tape and I now stepped up onto the stool.
"You'll have to take off your cloak," instructs Madam Malkin. "I can't take your measurements with you wearing it."
Awkward.
Nodding I began to remove my cloak. Professor McGonagall and Remus share a nervous glance. They didn't know how Madam Malkin would react once she got a look at what I was wearing. I was about to take the cloak off completely when I made eye contact with Professor McGonagall. Shaking her head she signals to me not to do so yet.
It wouldn't be a wise idea.
Professor McGonagall said "Her cloak has to Remus on. She has a small skin condition. Madam Pomfrey is treating it, but it needs to remain out of the sunlight for now."
Figuring McGonagall was telling the truth Madam Malkin let it go. She then went to work on taking what measurements she could while I was still wearing my cloak. It didn't take long for this to happen, only a few minutes. Once complete I stepped down from the stool and went back to the others while Madam Malkin was rolling her measuring tape backup.
"How long until you can have the robes finished up," asked Remus.
"Not long at all," promised Madam Malkin. "With my wand only a few minutes."
She then asked me what sort of color I wanted the robe to be. I told her what I wanted and she went straight to work. In the end, during the wait, I didn't choose anything else which was there.
"Here they are," said Madam Malkin, coming from her workstation and holding the newly made robes out in front of her.
The robes appear nice being the color of the forest. By the look of things, it would fit me just perfectly once I had it on completely.
"Nicely done as always," said Professor McGonagall, approvingly.
As we are departing, I asked "Do I have to wear these all the time?"
Shaking his head, Remus said "No, only when it comes to special occasions you need to wear them at."
I let out an enormous sigh of relief. As pretty as they looked on the outside I have a feeling that the robes will confine my movements when I have to wear them. That would really be troublesome if I had to wear them all the time every single day.

For those of you on fanfiction I'm sure you've been facing the many unwanted ads when you're reading a story. Well, yesterday, I finally had enough, and I got an adblocker app. It worked! Heads up everyone there's someone on fanfiction you need to seriously watch out for. Early a couple of months ago after I woke up I was checking my email and I saw I had a new guest review on my A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 sequel. I took a look at it and got a very big shock. Some random person I've never spoken to before on here or anywhere else in my life was basically threatening me. Intimidating and practically ordering me to write a threatening letter to someone on their behalf, telling to stay off of for life or else they and everyone else close to them would be killed, disgustingly telling them to kill themselves. And at the bottom of the message this crazy person wasn't done. Warning me that if I don't send the letter then they would kill me and for confirmation to email them to make absolutely sure I complied with their demands. Of course I did nothing of the sort. Instead of doing what they wanted I reported them to the website, sent copies of this deplorable guest review message to police officer cousins of mine so they could have it on file, and I went to a nearby police station and reported it.
When I spoke to the police officers and they checked everything on the message they saw, that while the address and names of business were accurate the people and their names were not. They agree it was more than likely a scam because of the email address on the bottom in order to perhaps get access to personal information or potentially hack my computer. Despite that I'm still very happy they took it seriously as I showed and told them everything. All the same I'm still very happy that I brought this to the attention of law enforcement. Even though the entire thing might be fake I'm still very happy to have brought this to the attention of those who can do something about it if it was legit in some way. This may have been a scam, but it's obvious these people are beyond irresponsible if they try to goad people into sending death threats to random strangers just to get access to info.
Be that as it may if this does unfortunately happen to you do not send any messages to the email addresses they put down and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring the message to the authorities immediately whether it is legit or not.
Because it's a guest review it might not be visible for a couple of days as it loads if it is sent to you. But when it does you should definitely pressing the report abuse button and send it to the email that leads to the support staff that is available.

Stay safe everyone. Especially with all of these crazy natural disasters occurring a lot lately due to global warming and climate change everywhere for sure. I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.
So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
