Big Thieves on Campus
One fine Sunday evening at the Amamiya Residence, we see Ren, Ann, Kimiko, and Morgana relaxing in the living room. Minato hadn't come home from college this weekend as he had some studying to do for a test later that week. Usually whenever Minato didn't come home for the weekend it was because he was busy with school work, or he'd rather hang out with the friends he made in Nagoya University for one reason or another. This weekend was the third weekend in a row that the eldest Amamiya child hadn't returned home. As the family sat in the living room and watched T.V, Kimiko let out a depressed sigh, which her parents had heard.
"Kimiko, what's wrong?" Ren asked.
"I just miss Minato," Kimiko frowned, "I feel like I haven't seen him in so long."
"Minato has been away for quite some time, sweetheart," Ann concurred as Ren nodded, "Your father and I miss him too."
"The fact of the matter is he's all grown up and he has his own life now," Ren said, some sadness appearing in his voice, "We just have to accept that."
"At least he calls every now and again to keep in touch," Kimiko said, "But it's not the same as seeing in face to face."
Sensing how depressed Kimiko was becoming, Morgana went up to her and nuzzled his face against her arm. This display made a small smile appear on Kimiko's face as she gladly rubbed him behind his ears.
"You're such a good boy, Morgana," Kimiko said before getting back on topic, "I just don't want Minato to forget about us, that's all."
"We understand, sweetie," Ren said, "You don't have to worry. Minato will never forget about us, just like we won't forget about him."
"Maybe when he finally does come home one of these weekends, we can throw a huge party for him because he's been gone for so long," Ann suggested, perking up her husband, cat, and daughter's moods.
"Great idea, mom!" Kimiko smiled.
Suddenly, the phone started to ring and Ren picked it up.
"Amamiya Residence, Ren speaking," Ren answered.
"Hello, dad?" Came the familiar voice of Minato, causing Ren to smile.
"Minato, hi!" Ren said, excitedly, which in turn incurred the excitement in Ann, Kimiko, and Morgana.
"Minato?!" Kimiko asked.
"He's on the phone?!" Ann asked.
"Put him on speaker phone, Ren," Morgana said…although to Kimiko, all she heard was excited meowing.
Ren put his son on speaker phone so the rest of the family could hear him talk.
"You're on speaker phone now, Minato," Ren said.
"Hey, guys," Minato said.
"Hi, Minato!" Kimiko smiled.
"Hey, sweetie," Ann said, "We miss you!"
"I miss you all too," Minato said, "But I just called to tell you guys that 'Family Weekend' is happening next week at Nagoya University and I wanted to call to see if you guys wanted to come up and see me."
"Are you kidding?" Ren asked, happily, "You're our son. We'd love to come and visit you."
"Want me to see if I can get Mana and Mitsu to come up too?" Kimiko asked.
"That'd be great Kim, thanks," Minato said, "And, not to be pushy, but if you guys want to invite the rest of our crew over here you're more than welcome to. I haven't seen them in so long, it'd be nice to see their faces again."
"We'll give them a ring throughout the week to see if they want to come with us to Nagoya," Ren said.
"Great," Minato said, "Well I guess I'll see you guys then. Have a good night, everyone."
"Have a goodnight, son," Ren said.
"Night, Minato," Kimiko said.
"We love you," Ann said.
"Bye guys," Minato said as he ended the call.
"Parents Weekend sounds like a whole lot of fun," Ren said.
"I just can't wait to see Minato again," Kimiko said.
"Me neither," Ann smiled, "This is going to be a great weekend."
The rest of the week went by in a flash, and during that time the Amamiyas reached out to the rest of their friend group to see who wanted to go with them to Nagoya University. Ryuji and Makoto accepted since Himari will be out of town that weekend for a tennis tournament. Hayato accepted since Hotaru went to a film convention and Hifumi was out at another Shogi tournament. Sumire and Kas decided to tag along since Ichiro was competing in a gymnastics tournament in Osaka. And finally, Futaba, Riku, Mana, Mitsu, and Kaito accepted the invite as Yuuki, Mai, Shiho, Daisuke, Yusuke, Haru, and Nariko had already made previous obligations. Still, half of the main group coming to Nagoya was still pretty good.
Eventually, Parents Week finally arrived at Nagoya University, and the group of 15 got off of the bus that stopped in front of the university along with some of the other students' families. Waiting for those who disembarked from the bus were some of the university's students, who ran up to their respective families so they could give them a hug, with Minato being one of them. When Minato saw his mother, father, sister, and Morgana, he ran up and gave each of them a big hug.
"You guys made it!" Minato said happily.
"We told you we wouldn't miss Parents Week for the world," Ren said.
"Your folks even bought us along Minato," Ryuji smiled.
"Uncle Ryuji, great to see you guys," Minato smiled. He couldn't go and greet them, however, because he was glomped from both sides by Mana and Mitsu.
"Minny!" Mana cheered.
"We missed you," Mitsu smiled.
"Mana, Mitsu, babes, I missed you two too," Minato said, struggling to breath from how tight Mana and Mitsu were holding him.
"Sorry not all of us could make it," Makoto apologized, "Some of the other members of our group have made other plans prior to this event."
"That's fine, Auntie Makoto," Minato said, his girlfriends releasing him from their hug, "Want me to give you guys a tour of the campus? Out of the lot of us, only mom, dad, Kimiko, Morgana, and I know what this place is like as we've already had a tour of the campus, but I'm more than happy to show you guys around if you want."
"Not to be rude, Minato, but I heard there were some hot springs here in Nagoya that are to die for," Kas said, "Mom and I were hoping to have some mother-daughter time. We'll be here all weekend so we can hang with you tomorrow, if that's alright."
"Suit yourself," Minato said with a shrug of his shoulders, "Catch you on the flip."
"Bye, everyone," Sumire waved.
"Later," Kas said as she and her mother went off to find the hot springs.
"I take it the rest of you are down for a tour?" Minato asked.
"You bet," Hayato said, "You know, Nagoya was actually where I originally wanted to go to college, but I wasn't accepted. Oh well, their loss."
"I'd like a tour, Minato," Futaba said, "In case any of you forgot, I chose to start up my Glitch streaming career instead of going to college. It would be nice to see what college life would be like, even for just one weekend."
"I'm just going to tell you right now, it's not really that different from going to regular school, mom," Riku said, "You go to your classes, hang out with friends, eat some lunch at the mess hall, rinse and repeat. You're not really missing much. So, if you were expecting a bacchanal where everyone gets drunk and sleeps together, you're going to be sorely disappointed."
"Aw man," Futaba frowned.
"So, what do you guys want to see first?" Minato asked.
"I don't know about you all, but I'm starting to get hungry," Ryuji said, "Where's the mess hall in this place?"
"That would be over this way. Follow me." Minato said as he started to guide his family and friends to the mess hall.
Once they got to the mess hall, they were greeted with the delicious aroma of barbecue foods.
"Is…is that…barbecue!" Ryuji sighed blissfully.
"The chefs go out of their way to make a delicious barbecue lunch for the students and their parents every Parents Week," Minato said, "No doubt to satisfy the palette of the dads that are here."
"Hey, now, the moms can enjoy barbecue just as much, Minato," Makoto said as Ann and Futaba nodded in agreement.
"Come on, everyone," Hayato said, "Let's go grab some food, then we can find a place to sit."
"Hayato is right," Ren said, "This mess hall is filling up fast."
The group went over to where the food was being served and they grabbed their lunches. Students and parents had a choice between ribs, chicken, or burgers for their meat, and either french fries, potato salad, or macaroni and cheese for their side. There was a salad bar not far from them too should one of the diners require some vegetation with their meals. And of course there was a soda machine ready to supply diners with a series of beverages ranging from cola to lemonade to water.
As the group grabbed their food, Kimiko couldn't help but notice that Minato had been carrying his backpack on his back the whole time.
"Why do you have your backpack, Minato?" Kimiko asked her brother, "It's the weekend. Classes aren't in session."
"Well, Kim," Minato began, "You see-"
"Hey, Plug!" A student called over to Minato, catching the group's attention.
"You're about to find out," Minato said as the student approached him, "What do you need?"
"I just used my last stick of deodorant and I was wondering if you had one on you?" The student said, "I also need batteries for my electric razor, and my girlfriend is coming up next weekend, so I was wondering if you had any 'special juice'."
"If you've got the cash, I've got the goods," Minato said as he opened up his backpack to take out a stick of deodorant, a four-pack of batteries, and 30 mL of Takemi's Love Potion inside of a tiny container.
"Yeah, I've got cash," The student said, "How much do you want?"
"How does ¥2,800 sound?" Minato asked.
"Alright," the student said as the exchange was made. Once the student had his items and Minato had his money, the student went on his merry way.
"Pleasure doing business with you," Minato waved.
"Thanks, Plug!" The student shouted back.
"What was that all about?" Riku asked.
"Why was he calling you 'Plug'?" Kimiko asked.
"Well, you see, after I sold the love potions that Dr. Takemi gave me a while back, I sort of gained this reputation around the university as 'that one guy who has everything you could ever want'," Minato explained, "Before I knew it, I was buying things like toiletries, snacks, batteries, and other assorted knick-knacks all for the sole purpose of selling them to the student body. As such, I've gained a reputation around here as 'the Plug', even going so far as to run the previous 'Plug' out of business."
"Who was the Plug before you?" Makoto asked.
"A greedy young man named Tomi Ogawa," Minato said, "You know how I gave that one student a bar of deodorant, some batteries, and some love potion for ¥2,800? Well, Tomi would sell that for twice as much. I'd say I did the school a big favor by running Tomi out of business."
"Aren't you worried that this Tomi character might fire back at you somehow?" Hayato asked.
"Hardly," Minato boasted, "I ran him out of business a while ago and he has yet to do or say anything to get revenge on me. He probably decided to let bygones be bygones."
"For your sake I hope so," Ren said, "Don't forget, we're not here to protect you if you get into trouble."
"You don't have to worry about me, dad, I can take care of myself," Minato said as the group went to find a place in the mess hall dining area to eat. As they did, however, they failed to notice a well dressed young man watching them with a scornful expression.
"Minato…" The well dressed young man grumbled to himself.
After lunch, the group leave the mess hall and try to figure out what to do next.
"What do you guys want to see next?" Minato asked.
"I kind of want to see what fraternities you have here on campus?" Ryuji said.
"Rush Week was weeks ago, Uncle Ryuji," Minato said, "Besides, I wouldn't pay them any mind. All they think about is partying and stuff."
"Partying?" Futaba asked curiously, "Do you think they're throwing parties right now?"
"They usually have their parties at night," Minato said, "But Sigma Pi Sigma, it's basically party central 24/7."
"I might have to check that out!" Futaba said.
"Count me in!" Ryuji exclaimed.
With Futaba and Ryuji leaving to go find the Sigma Pi Sigma fraternity, Makoto, Riku, and Hayato had to quickly chase after them, leaving Minato alone with his family, Mana, Mitsu, and Kaito. Having an idea as to what they should do next, Minato turns to the remaining members of the group.
"You guys want to go to the sports field?" Minato asked, "I think there's a soccer match going on right now if you want to check it out."
"Okay," Ren said as his family, Mana, Mitsu, and Kaito agreed.
"Great," Minato said, "Follow me then."
With that, the seven follow Minato to the soccer field so they could watch the big game.
Meanwhile, the group of Ryuji, Makoto, Hayato, Futaba, and Riku venture into the suburbs of Nagoya in search for the Sigma Pi Sigma house so they find the party they crave…well, the party two of the five crave.
"Are you sure it's a good idea to go to this frat house uninvited?" Makoto asked.
"You'll find that most fraternities and sororities are very welcoming,Makoto," Hayato informed his brunette friend, "I should know, I was in one."
"I didn't know you were in a fraternity, Uncle Hayato," Riku said, impressed.
"Yes," Hayato said, proudly, "I was a part of the Omega Mu Beta fraternity in the University of Tokyo. I actually founded the fraternity as a matter of fact. I made it so that writers like myself can just hang out, chat, and share story ideas."
"I imagine that was dead on arrival," Ryuji teased.
"Actually my fraternity was a roaring success and it's still going strong today," Hayato said as he showed a picture of the Omega Mu Beta's Tweeter Page, "I rarely editorialize like this, but I suggest you suck on that!"
"Oh, he got you there, babe," Makoto said.
"You win this round, Hayato," Ryuji smirked.
The group of five continued walking until they came upon a house that had the greek symbols for Sigma Pi Sigma over the door.
"I haven't been studying the greek alphabet lately, but I think this is the place," Futaba said.
"Well, let's go inside," Riku said as the group approached the front door. Makoto went up to the doorbell and rang it, causing a hole in the door to open up, revealing one of the frat boys.
"Who rang that bell, dude?!" The frat boy asked.
"Right here," Makoto said.
"Didn't you read the sign, my man?" The frat boy asked.
"Okay first off, I'm a woman," Makoto said, "Second, what are you talking about? What sign?"
"The sign on the door, right here, dude!" The frat boy said as he pointed to an area on the door beneath him…only to find there was no such sign, "Excuse me for a moment, dudes and dudette."
The frat boy left and returned moments later with said sign. He put it on the door knob before closing the window so the group of five could read it.
"Doorbell out of order, please knock," Ryuji, Makoto, Futaba, Hayato, and Riku said in unison.
Makoto then knocks on the door and the frat boy opens the window again to address them.
"Well that's more like it," The frat boy smiled, "So, what's a fivesome like you doing here anyway?"
"We heard you guys like to party," Ryuji said, "We want in!"
"Nobody gets into one of Sigma Pi Sigma's parties," The frat boy said, "Not nobody, not nohow!"
"Akaji!" a voice from inside was heard saying, "What are you doing?! Get away from there!"
The frat boy known as Akaji gets out of the way so another frat boy, this one having long, purple dyed hair could address the group of five outside.
"I apologize for him," the purple haired frat boy said in a more friendly tone, "Akaji is a wild one, that much is certain. My name is Hajime, and I'm the president of this fraternity. Did I hear correctly, you four dudes and one dudette are looking for a party?"
"Three dudes and two dudettes for one," Makoto said, "And yes."
"Hmm," Hajime put a finger to his chin in thought, "Hold on. Let me talk with the rest of the brothers."
Hajime left the group of five so he could talk with his friends about letting them into their house before returning a few moments later to give them the good news.
"Alright, you all seem cool enough," Hajime said as he opened the door, "Come on in."
As the group of five entered the frat house, Makoto decided to confide in her husband about something.
"Why do they think I look like a man?" Makoto asked, "I know 'Makoto' can be a boy's name too, and I do have an interest in masculine activities, but do I really look that 'manish'."
"Don't let them get to you, babe," Ryuji said in a reassuring whisper, "You're absolutely beautiful."
Hajime led the group of five to the living room where the rest of the fraternity was hanging out watching a sports game on T.V. In the corner of the room, we see someone duct taped to a chair with duct tape over his mouth.
"Alright, fellas, these five just showed up at our doorstep looking for a party," Hajime said, "I told them they could roll with us."
"Hey, everyone," Hayato stepped up to introduce himself, "I'm Hayato Yajima, fellow brother and founder of the Omega Mu Beta fraternity back in Tokyo."
"Yeah, I heard about that group," one of the frat boys said, "Bunch of lame ass bookworms if you ask me."
That comment made everyone chuckle. Even Ryuji chuckled to himself, much to Hayato's annoyance.
"Anyway, these are my friends," Hayato continued, "Meet Ryuji and Makoto Sakamoto, and Futaba and Riku Mishima."
Hajime, Akaji, and the other frat boys waved at the group, causing them to wave back.
"Nice to meet you all," Makoto said before noticing the frat boy duct taped to the chair, "Uh, who is this?"
"Oh, him?" Hajime asked, "That's one of our new members. He's currently undergoing Sigma Pi Sigma's ritualistic hazing."
"Hazing?" Hayato asked.
"Surely a fraternity member like yourself has done, or at least heard of a hazing before, right?" Akaji asked the scarlet haired man.
"Omega Mu Beta never really was one for hazing," Hayato admitted, "But what are you doing to him?"
"We'll show you," Hajime said as he picked up a stun gun that was sitting on a side table, "As part of our hazing, we duct taped him to this chair and blast him with the stun gun every few minutes or so."
"That sounds really messed up," Futaba said.
"No, it's funny, watch," Hajime said as he took the stun gun to the young man's testicles, causing him to let out muffled yells as he shook in his chair, causing everyone but our group of five to laugh their heads off.
"That's awful!" Riku chided the fraternity brothers, "That is a horrible thing to do to another human being! You all should be ashamed of yourselves!"
"Hey, it's what we do," Hajime said in a nonchalant tone, "Though I will admit, it is getting a bit boring tasing a restrained fellow. I wonder what would happen if we tased someone like him!"
And with that, Hajime took the stun gun to Riku's neck, causing him to yell in pain before falling back on his ass, causing the fraternity boys to laugh as Futaba came to her son's aide!
"Riku!" Futaba cried as she helped Riku up on his feet.
"You assholes!" Riku yelled, "That really hurts!"
"That's what's so funny about it!" Hajime said, "And it's even funnier when we do it to women!"
In a swift motion, Hajime took his stun gun to Futaba's neck, hurting her. Fortunately, Riku caught his mother before she could fall to the floor.
"What the fuck!" Riku yelled, angry at the sight of his own mother being hurt.
"Okay that's it!" Hayato said, "We are reporting you to the-AUGH!"
Hajime zapped Hayato in the neck to silence him as the lead fraternity boy says, "Zip it, old dude!"
"If I'm an 'old dude' you should respect me!" Hayato scolded, "Didn't any of your parents tell you to respect your elders?! Or did you tase them too?!"
"We would never tase our own parents…not unless they give us millions of views on ClipTube, which they did!" Hajime said as his fraternity brothers cheered.
"You people are monsters," Hayato chided before he got tased again.
"Don't worry, Hayato, we got you!" Ryuji said as he and Makoto stepped up, only for Akaji to pull out a stun gun of his own so he and Hajime could tase the two Sakamotos.
"Down for the count!" Akaji said, blowing on the top of his stun gun as if it was a smoking gun.
"That's it, we're out of here!" Hayato said as he and the rest of his friends were chased out of the fraternity house by Hajime, Akaji, and their stun guns. They left the frat house to the sound of the frat boys' jeering and laughter.
Once they were back outside, the group of five caught their breaths, glad that they got out of there. To say they were furious over what had just happened would be an understatement.
"Can you believe those punks!" Ryuji yelled, "Who do they think they are tasing us like that?!"
"Minato was right," Riku said, "Those guys are animals!"
"Are you alright, sweetheart?" Futaba asked.
"Yeah, mom, I'm fine," Riku said, "But what about you? They got you good too."
"Don't worry about me," Futaba said, "If you're fine, I'm fine."
"So what are we going to do?" Hayato said, "We can't let them get away with this."
"I am a police officer," Makoto said, "I could have them arrested for assaulting a police officer."
"No, not good enough," Ryuji said, "To properly punish some frat boys, we've got to think like some frat boys. But what should we do?"
While the five were brainstorming ideas on how to get revenge, Riku looked around and saw an abandoned house at the end of the street that was across from the Sigma Pi Sigma house.
"Look over there!" Riku said as he ran over to the abandoned house, the four adults following after him.
Once they got to the abandoned house, Riku nodded to himself as a smile spread across his face.
"Yes, yes, this is perfect!" Riku said.
"What are you thinking, son?" Futaba asked.
"No time for explaining, mom," Riku said, "Right now, you and I need to go to the hardware store and get some supplies."
His view then shifted towards Hayato, Ryuji, and Makoto
"As for you three," Riku said to the three adults, "I need you to get me all of the gross, sticky, or smelly objects you can find and bring them back here. We're going to stick it to those Sigma Pi Sigma dicks!"
"I'm starting to like your son more and more by the minute, Futaba," Ryuji said with a toothy grin.
"Alright, everyone," Riku said, "Let's get to work!"
Futaba and Riku headed for the nearest hardware store while Ryuji, Hayato, and Makoto scattered to find the objects Riku requested.
Back at the Nagoya University soccer field, we see the Nagoya soccer team going up against the Tsukuba University soccer team. A member of the Nagoya team currently has the ball, and he's moving towards the opposing team's net as two of Tsukuba's players are hot on his tail. The Nagoya player kicked the ball over to his teammate who was closer to the Tsukuba team's net and he kicked the ball over the Tsukuba goalie's head and into the net, bringing the score to a tie. With Nagoya scoring another point, the audience on their side, Minato, his family, Mana, Mitsu, and Kaito especially, cheer with pride.
"This is a great game," Mana said as she ate a piece of popcorn.
"Glad you guys are enjoying it," Minato said, "Maybe after this I can show you all the building I go to for all of my classes."
"Sounds like a good idea," Ren said.
"Maybe your teachers are here too," Ann said, "We'd very much like to meet them."
"I think a couple of them are here," Minato said, "My advanced anatomy teacher, Mr. Nakano usually comes to his classroom to grade papers on the weekends. He's one of the nicest teachers on campus and I'm sure he'll love you all."
"Can we go there after the game though," Kimiko asked, "I'm having a good time."
"Of course," Minato said.
As the group continued watching the game, a student that was sitting in front of them turned to face them.
"Hey, aren't you Minato Amamiya?" the student asked, "The last person to be clad in the costume of our school mascot, 'Ryo the Red-Crowned Crane'."
"That I am," Minato said proudly.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on" Ren said, "Minato, you never told us you were the university's mascot."
"For a short while," Minato said, "On my first semester here I was looking to do some community service around here; something that would look good on a resume. The only thing they had available was being the university's mascot and showing up to sports games, pep rallies, and other school related events."
"That sounds like a lot of fun," Kimiko said, "Why'd you stop?"
"It was starting to get in the way of my school work so I passed the torch on to someone else," Minato explained.
"I have footage of one of the games your son was in as our mascot," the student said to Ren and Ann as he showed them his phone, "Look."
On the phone was video of Minato, in the 'Ryo the Red-Crowned Crane' costume, doing a silly dance during halftime in one of the games and everyone cheering him on. The music in the background was Karma's 'Everytime You Leave (Age Pee Remix)'. After that, Minato pulled out a t-shirt cannon and started firing t-shirts into the crowd, earning him more cheers.
"Wow, Minato looked like he was the life of the party," Ann said.
"He certainly was," the student said, "You should be proud to have someone like him for a son."
The student went back to watching the game as Ren, Ann, Kimiko, Morgana, Kaito, Mana, and Mitsu look at Minato, who was also watching the soccer game intently.
"I wonder why Minato didn't want any of us to know he was the university's mascot?" Kaito asked.
"Or that he was 'The Plug'," Mitsu said.
"We're family," Ren said, "Shouldn't he know by now that we don't keep secrets from each other?"
As the group continues to watch the soccer game, while also wondering if Minato is hiding other secrets from them, the well dressed student from earlier is seen on the other side of the bleachers glaring at Minato.
Meanwhile, we cut to the local spa in Nagoya where we see Sumire and Kas having some mother-daughter time at the hot springs. The two of them are seated in their own private hot spring so they could chat and talk amongst themselves without having to worry about anyone eavesdropping.
"This water is perfect," Kas said, "I'm glad we came here."
"Me too," Sumire agreed, "These bath bombs that this spa uses really clears out the sinuses."
"And opens up the pores," Kas added, "So, what do you want to talk about while we're here? How are things going between you and dad?"
"Kas, you should know that your father and I are still going strong all these years later," Sumire said, "Right now the only tension we have in our marriage is that he's still insistent on competing in gymnastics competition. I wish he'd retire like I did before he hurts himself."
"It's what he loves mom, I don't know what you want me to tell you," Kas said.
"I know," Sumire said, "But he's reaching his mid-forties, around the time most athletes of any sport retire. But he told me he still wants to compete until 'an act of God' makes him stop. I just wish I could make him listen to reason, but I've tried everything in order to convince him to retire."
"I hate to say this, mom, but I think we're going to have to let dad keep competing in gymnastics competitions until said act of God happens," Kas said, sadly.
"I think that's what's going to happen," Sumire said, "I just don't want this act of God to result in your father dying."
"It's not going to come to that, mom," Kas said, "At least, I hope it doesn't."
Kas then let out a sign before she continued talking.
"It's so weird," Kas said, "When I was little I always looked at you and dad like you were superheroes or something. You had your gymnastics careers and you still found time to take care of me and raise me into the young woman you see before you. I used to think back then that nothing could hurt you two. But growing up and learning just how dangerous the world really is, I can understand your fear for my dad's safety."
"Yeah," Sumire said.
Wanting to lighten the mood, Kas came up with an idea.
"Hey mom," Kas said, catching Sumire's attention, "I know you told me that I got my name, well, the full version of my name, from your sister, Kasumi. For as long as I've been alive, I don't think you've once told me what she was like."
"Let me start by saying that your Aunt Kasumi would've loved you, Kas," Sumire said, "Probably spoil you to pieces."
"You think she'd mind about my sexuality?" Kas asked.
"Not at all," Sumire said, "She and I were raised the same way, and we were taught to accept people of all kinds."
"That's good," Kas smiled, "So, did you and Aunt Kasumi get along?"
"For the most part," Sumire said, "She and I were pretty close with one another, although there were times when I envied her."
"How so?" Kas asked.
"If you thought I was a good gymnast, Kas," Sumire continued, "Kasumi was even better. She remembered the routines better and even performed them better to boot. My envy of her got to the point where I ran way from her out of anger one day. I really wish I hadn't though."
"Why?" Kas asked.
"Well, I wasn't looking where I was going and I was about to be hit by a truck," Sumire explained, "That's when Kasumi pushed me out of the way and saved me…but in the process she got hit instead. She saved my life at the cost of her own. Not a day goes by where I don't thank her for what she did in my prayers, but at the same time, not a day goes by where I don't regret running away from her and I constantly wish I could see her one more time so I can say all of the things that I wanted to say before she passed."
"I'm sorry, mom," Kas frowned.
"That's all in the past, sweetheart," Sumire said, "I've moved on as best I could, and I know that your Aunt Kasumi is smiling down on us from heaven right now, proud with where our lives are at now."
"Yeah," Kas smiled, "Hey mom,"
"Yes, sweetie?" Sumire asked.
"I don't want to disappoint you or dad when I say this, but my interests have been shifting away from gymnastics lately," Kas said, "My interests are shifting more towards wrestling."
"Yeah, I kind of figured that given your 'wrestling show' idea when we were trying to save Leblanc," Sumire said, "Not to mention your wrestling extracurriculars at college. But why do you think we'd be disappointed in you if you decide you don't want to be a gymnast?"
"I know gymnastics is both yours and dad's go-to sport," Kas said, "I always had this idea in my head that you want me to become a gymnast like you guys. Now, while gymnastics was fun at first, I'm just kind of losing interest in it. Wrestling makes me happy and I have more fun doing it."
"Kas, if you're happy, then your father and I are happy," Sumire said, "We don't care if you want to be a gymnast or a wrestler. What matters to us is your happiness. And if you're happier doing wrestling, then so be it."
"You mean it?" Kas said, her heart warming up.
"I mean, I'll worry about your safety when you go out in the ring," Sumire said, "But I'm you mother, I'll never stop worrying about you. Even if you have the safest occupation in the world, I'll always worry about you."
"Thanks mom," Kas said, "I'm glad you're so accepting of who I am, not only in terms of my sexuality, but also my hobbies and passion. I love you mom."
"I love you too, Kas," Sumire said, "Speaking of love, how are things between you and Mai?"
"They are wonderful," Kas said, "And I'm glad you asked me, because I think I'm ready to take things to the next level with her."
"You and her are going to move in together?" Sumire asked.
"More than that mom," Kas said, "Mai and I have been dating for a few years now, and…well…I've been thinking about asking Mai to marry me."
Hearing that made Sumire gasp in surprise. She never thought she'd see the day when her own daughter would want to get married to her true love.
"Oh, Kas, that's wonderful news!" Sumire said.
"Keep in mind I don't plan on telling her yet," Kas said, "I want to give things at least one more year to see if things are still good between us. And if they are, I want to start saving up so I can buy a really nice ring. What do you think?"
"You and Mai have been together for a while," Sumire concurred, "Marriage was inevitable."
"So you're on board with this idea?" Kas asked.
"If you think you're ready, Kas, I say go for it," Sumire nodded.
"I am ready, mom," Kas said, confidently, "Mai is the one. I just know it!"
With that, the mother and daughter continue their soak in the hot spring.
Back at Nagoya University, after the soccer match wrapped up, Minato took his family, Mana, Mitsu, and Kaito, to the building where he attends the classes necessary to get his medical degree. Since it was the weekend, classes weren't in session, but that didn't stop Minato from showing his family, girlfriends, and sister's boyfriend around. The group is currently seen entering the anatomy class that Minato was talking about earlier.
"And here is Mr. Nakano's anatomy class," Minato said as he showed everyone the room.
The anatomy class was a very big classroom. It had big tables with three tables behind them each so students could copy things off of the blackboard or take tests. At the front of the classroom was said blackboard, statues that showcase the human body, its organs, muscles, and bones. In one corner of the room was a desk with a computer where Mr. Nakano would grade his students tests and reports. On the side of the room were six operating tables with six other statues on them so students could learn what it's like to be in an operating room.
"Very cool," Mitsu said.
"That side over there looks exactly like the operating room at the hospital," Mana said.
"That's the idea," Minato said, "Although I'm surprised Mr. Nakano isn't here. He usually would be at his desk grading all of the students work."
As if on cue, a middle aged man with gray hair, white framed eyeglasses, a purple dress shirt, brown pants, brown loafers, and a white lab coat entered the room and saw the large group of people in front of him, Minato being one of them. This was Mr. Nakano.
"Minato?" Nakano asked, causing the young black haired man to turn in his direction.
"Ah, Mr. Nakano," Minato said happily, "There you are. I want to introduce you to my family and friends. This is my father Ren, my mother Ann, my little sister Kimiko, our cat Morgana, my sister's boyfriend Kaito, and my girlfriends Mana and Mitsu."
"Girlfriends, plural?" Nakano asked curiously, "I'm impressed, Minato."
"How's are son doing your class, Mr. Nakano?" Ann asked.
"Your son is one of my top students, Mrs. Amamiya," Nakano informed the blonde woman, "No one has grasped onto the concept of the human body quicker than your son."
"That's wonderful news," Ren said.
"Your son does such great work in his classes that I took him on as part of Nagoya University's own research team," Nakano continued.
"Wait, this university has its own research team," Kimiko asked, "And Minato is a part of it?"
"I figured it would look on a resume if Minato decides to become a doctor one day," Nakano said, "I thought he would've you all."
"There are a lot of things Minato hasn't been telling us today," Ren said as the group looked at the young man, whose eyes were shifting nervously.
"Well I can see you guys have a lot of catching up to do so I'll leave you to it," Nakano said as he left the area.
"What's going on, Minato," Ren asked, "We first learn that you're 'The Plug', then the school mascot, now a member of the university research team?"
"Why haven't you told us any of this, sweetheart?" Ann asked.
"You never told us about these things whenever you phoned home," Kimiko added.
"It's not that I didn't want to tell you guys," Minato said, "It's just that I have my own life here now and I didn't really feel that relevant in all of your lives as long as I was here. I didn't really think you guys would care all that much."
"How could you say that, son," Ren said, heartbroken as he, Ann, Kimiko, and Morgana hugged Minato, "We're your family, we're always going to care about you no matter where you are in the world."
"You're one of the most important people in our lives, Minato," Ann said, "We want to know everything that's going on in your life so we can either help you or be proud of you."
"You really mean that?" Minato asked.
"Of course," Ren said, "We love you, son. You should never feel as though you're irrelevant in our lives because you aren't. As a members of the Amamiya Family, you and Kimiko are always the two things we put first before all else."
"Promise us you'll never leave us in the dark like that again," Kimiko chimed in.
Feeling touched, Minato smiled and hugged his family back, "I promise. I love you guys too."
"Hope there's room for three more," Mana said as the family made room for her, Mitsu, and Kaito in their group hug.
After a while, they all freed Minato from their brief 'cuddle puddle' so he could continue showing them around.
"You know, as long as I made a vow to tell you guys everything that I do around here," Minato said as he continued giving his tour, "Did I ever tell you I started a Harvey Panner club here?"
"You don't say," Mitsu said.
"Yeah," Minato continued, "Every Thursday in the gymnasium we'd talk all about Harvey Panner; books, movies, and all."
As the group walked off, from the shadows of the hallway, we see the well dressed student glaring at Minato once again before he turns and walks the other way.
We cut to later when the sun is beginning to set and the folks at the Sigma Pi Sigma fraternity house are having their party. Far from them is the abandoned house that Riku spotted, and inside, he, Futaba, Ryuji, Makoto, and Hayato are seen setting up a slingshot by a front facing window on the top floor with supplies that the two Mishimas bought from a nearby hardware store. Next to the slingshot are cartons of eggs, balloons full of paint and/or glue, stink bombs, bags full of either melted cheese or bacon grease, and a few dirty diapers that Ryuji found when going dumpster diving for their ammunition.
"I think we're ready to go, everyone," Riku said.
"I can't believe we're about to sink to those frat boys' level," Makoto said, "I'd feel bad if only they didn't break the law by tasing a police officer!"
"Those punks deserve everything they're about to get," Ryuji said.
"Riku, you're in charge of this revenge plot," Hayato said, "What do you think we should hit 'em with first?"
"We'll start simple," Riku said, "Give me a paint balloon. Make sure it's one of the ones filled with pink paint."
"Here you go," Hayato said as he handed Riku a pink paint balloon which he loaded into the giant slingshot.
"Okay, mom, let me know when you found a target," Riku said as Futaba was near another window looking through a pair of binoculars.
Through the binoculars, Futaba saw two of the frat boys walking out onto the deck of the house so they could chat over some beer.
"We've got a target," Futaba said, "You see those two on the deck sipping on beers?"
"Oh yeah," Riku said as he pulled back on the slingshot, "This is going to be good!"
With that, Riku let the slingshot go and the pink paint balloon flew through the sky and down the road towards the Sigma Pi Sigma house.
At said fraternity house, the two frat boys hanging out on the deck heard a 'whooshing' noise that was getting louder by the second.
"Hey, dude, you hear that?" One of the frat boys asked. And then…
SPLAT!
Before either of them knew it, they were covered in pink paint.
"Aw, man, what the hell?!" The second frat boy yelled
"We're under attack, dude!" The first frat boy cried, "We've gotta warn the others!"
The two frat boys ran back into the house to warn their friends while back at the abandoned house, the group of five were celebrating the fact that they hit their first targets.
"Now the fun begins!" Riku said with a wicked grin.
(BGM: 'Tune In (Rear Window)' by Flak)
Hayato hands Riku a stink bomb which is set to go off in 30 seconds. Riku loads the ticking stink bomb into the slingshot before firing it at the Sigma Pi Sigma house.
The stink bomb breaks a window in the upper level of the frat house and when it detonates, an awful stench permeates the area. Even worse, Riku fired even more stink bombs in the lower levels, and anyone inside had no choice but to run out of the house to avoid the unbearable odors.
From the abandoned house, the group of five see the Sigma Pi Sigma boys out in the front yard catching their breath.
"Like lambs to the slaughter," Ryuji smirked.
"I'm going to save Hajime for last, what do you think?" Riku asked.
"Way to save the best for last, Riku," Futaba complimented his son as she handed him a glue balloon which he immediately fired.
On the front yard of the Sigma Pi Sigma house, Hajime, Akaji, and the other frat boys heard a whooshing noise that grew louder. They looked around for another few moments before a glue balloon hits Akaji right in the face, sending him to the ground.
"Akaji, dude!" Hajime cried.
"Augh, what is this stuff?!" Akaji asked in a disgusted tone.
Before anyone else could react, more stuff starting flying from out of nowhere. Some frat boys were hit with a series of eggs. A few others were hit with balloons full of bacon grease so when they tried to get up they'd keep falling back down. The frat boys were getting pelted with paint and glue balloons, bags full of cheese and grease, and before Hajime knew it he was the only one unscathed.
Back at the abandoned house, Riku was ready to end things.
"Uncle Ryuji," Riku began, "Hand me a diaper!"
"Aw yeah!" Ryuji yelled with glee as he handed Riku one of the dirty diapers he found while dumpster diving.
As Riku loaded the diaper into the slingshot, the group of five were chanting, "Diaper! Diaper! Diaper! Diaper! Diaper!"
Riku fired the diaper out of the slingshot and it flew through the air and nailed Hajime right in the chest.
"EEEEWWWWW!" Hajime yelled when he realized what hit him.
From the abandoned house, the five saw Hajime covered in 'baby waste' and they cheered happily, knowing that they got their revenge.
"We got them," Riku said, "We got them good!"
"I think they'll think twice before they go ahead and tase anyone they damn well please," Hayato said.
"What do you guys think?" Makoto asked, "Should we get out of here before they realize it was us?"
"Good call, babe," Ryuji said as the group of five left the abandoned house and ran out of the area.

Meanwhile at a local bar in Nagoya, we see Kas and Sumire sitting at the bar, Sumire sipping on a cocktail while Kas drinks a glass of lemonade (She's one year shy of being at the legal age to drink). They are currently the only ones in the bar aside from the bartender and a jazz band playing some ambient music. As they sat at the bar, they hear the door open. They look to see Minato leading Ren, Ann, Kimiko, Morgana, Kaito, Mana, and Mitsu inside.
"This is the bar me and my friends usually visit on the weekends to let our collective hair down after a stressful week of school," Minato said.
"Nice place," Ren said as he took in the atmosphere.
"Reminds me of Cafe Leblanc, but with jazz music," Kimiko said as she waved over at the jazz band.
The group looked at the bar to find Kas and Sumire sitting there, so they went over to them.
"Hey, Sumire. Hey, Kas," Ann greeted, catching the two females' attention.
"Guys, hey," Kas said, "Come over and pop a squat."
The group went over to the bar and took a seat on either side of the two Tanakas.
"So how were the hot springs?" Minato asked.
"Very relaxing," Sumire said, "Thank you for asking."
"Did you and Kas talk about anything interesting?" Ann asked.
"Ah, you know, this and that," Kas answered, wanting to hide her intentions on proposing to Mai, "Nothing you need to worry about Auntie Ann. How was it touring the campus?"
"Very fun," Mana said, "We even learned a few things about Minato today."
"Like how he was the school mascot for a short while, how he's a part of the university's research team, and how he's known as 'The Plug' of the school," Mitsu chimed in.
"Wow, Minato, you're quite the busy bee," Kas said.
"I do what I can to keep busy," Minato said.
As the group conversed, Ryuji, Makoto, Hayato, Futaba, and Riku entered the bar next.
"I don't know about all of you, but I can go for a drink after an evening like this," Ryuji said as he and the other four he's with notice the rest of their friends at the bar, "Hey, guys!"
"Hey, Ryuji," Ren said as the five go over to them, "Did you find that party you were looking for?"
"Kind of," Ryuji said, "But you were right, Minato, those Sigma Pi Sigma asshats are a bunch of animals."
"Fortunately we paid them back in full," Riku said in a triumphant tone.
"How so?" Kimiko asked.
"I'll tell you all later," Riku said, "Right now, I'm hungry. Hey barkeep, can we get some nachos over here!"
"Now you're talking my language!" Kaito said as he gave a high five to his friend.
As the group of friends continue to converse at the bar, the well dressed student that was stalking Minato throughout the day enters the bar with a few other well dressed students. They approach the group before the leader speaks up.
"Minato Amamiya!" The lead student says, catching the group's attention.
"Oh, you again?" Minato asked, unamused.
"Minato, who is this?" Kimiko asked.
"Remember that Tomi Ogawa I told you all about?" Minato asked, "The original 'Plug'? This is him."
"How's Nagoya University's favorite 'Butt-Plug' doing on this fine evening?" Tomi asked in a taunting manner.
"I was doing fine until your spoiled and greedy mug showed up to my bar," Minato said.
"Your bar?" Tomi asked, "I don't see your name anywhere on here."
"You don't even like this place," Minato said, "What are you and your cronies doing here?"
"I've been meaning to teach you a lesson ever since you took away the title of 'University Plug' from me!" Tomi snarled, "And the fact I get to do it in front of all of your friends and family makes this so much sweeter!"
"What, you and your entourage are going to gang up on me," Minato said, unfazed by Tomi's threats, "Yeah, real manly."
"What do you say we even the odds a little bit?" Kas asked as the rest of Minato's group stand by him, ready to fight off Tomi and his gang.
"You all look to be 18 or older," Ryuji said, "Legally adults, meaning we can legally kick your asses!"
As everyone got ready to fight, the bartender took cover behind the bar while the jazz band looked in in anticipation. Suddenly, the bar door opens again to reveal Hajime, Akaji, and the rest of the Sigma Pi Sigma frat boys. They were all still covered in the mess Riku pelted them with, and they all wore angry expressions which only got angrier when they saw Riku, Ryuji, Makoto, Hayato, and Futaba.
"You!" Hajime yelled, "We followed you five here from that abandoned house! We should've known it was you who trashed our place and pelted us with all that crap! Akaji saw you five leave the house out of the corner of his eye! You guys are going to pay for what you've done!"
"Well maybe next time don't tase us!" Makoto yelled.
"Shut up, man!" Akaji snapped.
"I'm not a man!" Makoto screamed.
"Come on, everybody," Tomi yelled, "Get them!"
Tomi, his cronies, and the frat boys charge at the group of 15, and they quickly engage in a bar room brawl. The jazz band, finding the perfect opportunity to make things more interesting, go back to playing their instruments so they could provide some background music to the situation.
(BGM: Bootlegger Boogie from Cuphead The Delicious Last Course)
As a real high-class bout started up, we see just what each of our group of 15 do to fight off the group of well dressed students and frat boys.
We first see Hayato as he dodges the punches of one frat boy. He backs himself against a trashcan, which the scarlet haired man quickly picks up and slams on the frat boy's head, knocking him unconscious. He then sees a well dressed student and another frat boy charge at him.
"Boom shakalaka, here comes the spirit man!" Hayato yelled as he held out his arms and clotheslined the two brawlers.
With Morgana, he's too quick for the well dressed students and frat boys to catch as he alternates between dodging and running away and clawing his adversaries in the face.
Makoto is holding her own as she uses her aikido skills on any frat boy or well dressed student that comes too close to her.
Sumire picks up a pool cue and uses it as a makeshift bo staff against any frat boy or well dressed student that dares challenge her to a fight.
Futaba quickly ran into the kitchen and returned with a cast iron frying pan which she used to hit the frat boys and well dressed students over the head with.
Kas uppercuts a frat boy before flipping another one that was coming at her. She then picked up a well dressed student and slammed him against a nearby pinball machine before getting up close and personal with him and punching him in the face numerous times.
Ryuji is in a fist fight with Akaji. The blonde man takes a few hits before he eventually gets the better of Akaji, dazes the frat boy with a left hook, then he picks Akaji up and slides him across the bar.
Riku is sitting next to the piano player in the jazz band, and when the pianist notices the young blue haired man, Riku just smiles at him before the pianist knocks him off of the chair. When Riku got up, that was when he noticed two frat boys coming at him. Quickly, Riku picked up some cymbals and used them as shield weapons. "I can do this all day!" Riku says as he fights off the two frat boys.
Mana is fighting a well dressed student, but he pushes her through a window. Mana gets back up and lets out a battle cry before charging back in and stomping on the student's foot before punching him in the balls.
Meanwhile, her sister Mitsu grabbed a bottle of alcohol, breaking the bottom of it to create a makeshift weapon and swinging it to keep her adversaries at bay, and kicking/punching anyone ballsy enough to get close to her.
Kaito meanwhile is giving a Watanabe Special to any frat boy or well dressed student that gets too close to him, punching each fighter in the balls before uppercutting them unconscious.
"Everybody gets a Watanabe Special!" Kaito shouted, referencing a famous talk show host, "You get a Watanabe Special! And you get a Watanabe Special!"
As Kaito is doling out Watanabe Specials, he wasn't paying attention to a frat boy who was coming at him with a chair, ready to hit him with it. That's when Kimiko comes out of nowhere and gives the frat boy a Watanabe Special of her own! In between the punch to the nuts and the uppercut, however, the frat boy dropped the chair on his own head, hurting him further. Kaito noticed his girlfriend's action and looked at her.
"Did you just Watanabe Special that dude?" Kaito asked.
"Been hanging out with you so much that I guess I picked it up," Kimiko smiled.
"God I love you," Kaito said before giving Kimiko a kiss before the two of them continued to kick more ass.
After Ann punches out a well dressed student, she sees a frat boy coming at her. That's when she grabs a dart from the dart board, throws it at his shoulder, and kicks him away.
Ren and Hajime were going at it, blocking each others punches. Hajime then decides to play dirty by pulling out his stun gun. Before he could use it however, Ren kicks the fraternity leader in the shin before snatching the stun gun out of his hands and tasing Hajime in the balls to the point of unconsciousness.
Finally, Minato is seen pinned underneath Tomi but he sees another dart right next to him. Minato reaches over to the dart and jabs Tomi in the shoulder with it, causing him to get off from on top of Minato. With that, Minato kicks Tomi right in the butt before he grabs him the the back of the collar of his shirt and the back of his pants before throwing him out of the other window.
(End BGM)
And with that, Tomi, Hajime, Akaji, and the rest of the well dressed students and frat boys were defeated as the group of 15, with only a few cuts and bruises on them, were seen panting for air. When they caught their breath, the first thing Kaito said was, "That was amazing!"
Ren turned towards the barkeep who came out of hiding. "We'll mail you the check for the damages," Ren said, "Let's get out of here, guys."
As the group of 15 made their leave, Hayato made sure to tip the jazz band before leaving. Once they left the bar, most of the group decided to go to a nearby hotel to rest for the night.
Later that night at said hotel, we see most of the group resting after a long day.
We see Ryuji, Makoto, and Hayato in their room. The former two are watching a movie while snuggled up in bed while the latter is out on the balcony talking with his wife and son on FaceTime.
After that we cut to Futaba, Riku, Kas, and Sumire in their room. Sumire and Kas are sound asleep while Riku and Futaba hooked their Funtendo Switch to the room's television and are currently playing video games.
And finally, we see Ren, Ann, Morgana, Kimiko, and Kaito in their hotel room. Minato is back at the college and Mana and Mitsu are with him. Morgana is asleep in his cat bed, Kaito and Kimiko are sound asleep in one of the beds in the room, and Ren and Ann are cuddling each other in their bed.
"I'm glad Minato is keeping busy up here," Ann said.
"School mascot, research team member, and Nagoya University's 'Plug'," Ren concurred, "Yeah, I'm glad our son isn't getting complacent and grabbing life by the horns. That's how one should go about life. And I'm glad he knows that he shouldn't feel irrelevant in our lives despite being miles apart from us."
"Me too," Ann said, "As our son continues to grow, I want to know everything going on in his life as it happens. I mean, I don't want to learn about becoming a grandmother at his kid's 13th birthday party."
Hearing that made Ren chuckle.
"Still, I hope he's doing alright over there right now," Ann said, some worry in her voice, "I thought he would've loved to come back to the hotel and hang out with us for the night."
"He's a grown man now, babe," Ren said, "I'm sure he'll be alright. Besides, Mana and Mitsu are with him. I know they're taking real good care of our boy."
We cut to the final scene in this story; the Nagoya University soccer field. There we find Minato, Mana, and Mitsu laying on a big blanket in the middle of the field as they go stargazing.
"Have you girls ever seen such a beautiful night?" Minato asked.
"No, babe," Mitsu said, "No we haven't."
"I'm glad I get to spend a night like this with you guys," Mana said, "I can't remember the last time we got to spend some time together like this with Minato."
"Yeah, sorry if college and my life up here in Nagoya kept me from coming back to Tokyo to see you girls," Minato apologized.
"Don't be sorry, Minny," Mitsu said as Mana nodded in agreement, "You have your own life here now, and with your own life comes responsibilities that you need to attend to. Mana, your family, all of our friends, and I aren't going anywhere."
"I'm so lucky to have girlfriends as loving and understanding as you two," Minato said, "And I want to cherish you two to the fullest while you're both here."
"Any ideas as to how you want to cherish us, Minny?" Mana asked cutely as she and Mitsu got some naughty looks on their faces.
"Oh, I know those looks," Minato smirked, "I guess it has been a while since we've gotten intimate. And there's really no one around. Hmm…do you girls want to get down to business here?"
"Making love out here in the middle of the soccer field would be an interesting story to tell our friends back at home," Mitsu said.
"Alright, you've convinced me," Minato said as he grabbed his backpack that was right next to him, and he pulled out a condom and a small 30 mL container containing Takemi's Love Potion, "You girls down for something a little more intense?"
"Like you even have to ask," Mana said.
"I'll take that as a yes," Minato said as he opened up the container. Before downing the contents, Minato smiled at his girlfriends and said, "I love you girls."
"We love you too, Minato," Mana and Mitsu said before they started to take off their clothes.
Minato gulped down the love potion and shot his two girlfriends a seductive smile before he too started to undress. With the three twenty-somethings in the buff, the camera pans up to the night sky as their soft moans and naughty giggles could be heard.
