S'chn T'gai Spock and Nyota's first born are now ready for school. Their exposure to the many species of the Federation will test their diplomatic skills, their Vulcan logic, their human ingenuity, and creativity. How they tap into all their resources will be explored.

This is an OC x Chekov story because I never really paired him with anyone on the Enterprise. 16 soon to be 17 year old Maddy Chase goes on her first mission in space to rescue the planet Vulcan. She is accompanied by the famous Captain Kirk, Nyota Uhura, Scotty, Bones McCoy and her best friend, Pavel Chekov. (Also, sorry for the crappy title, feel free to send ideas for a new one)

Jim smiled a toothy grin looking down batting his eyelashes and licked his lips. His palms quickly growing sweaty from shock and nervous anticipation. James was no idiot, wreckless and carefree yes, but an idiot he was not.(ON HOLD)

Spock and Uhura are assigned to an exploratory mission that requires complete compliance with the strict cultural practices of a new planet, Asteri. Nyota struggles to adjust, and Spock decides that some matters must simply be taken in hand.
