Everyone was still in the plane to make there way to Duel Academy with mixed emotions with curiosity, excitement, or seriousness towards the Duel School until they hear a announcement, "Attention we're about to arrive at Duel Academy. Please stay seated until we land."
"This should be quite the interesting year." Bastion noted calmly.
So once they landed everyone lined up to received there Blazars, PDAs, and issued Duel Academy Duel Disk in different colors. Mimi doesn't have one just standing beside the staff as they line up for their things while she sees things in Blue, Red, and Yellow with Blue being the most favored while Red is treated very poorly.
Overall all the Girls gotten blue versions of the Blazars (in fact the only Girl Blazar so far) while all the boys gotten Yellow Male Blazars.
Luke pouted. "Why am I in yellow instead of Blue?"
"Why don't you ask?" Yuro suggested over which Luke proceed to do; complaining to staff why which made him sigh, "Why'd I suggest that?"
"I'm sorry, but even if your dueling abilities were very impressive as you didn't receive a very good score in the written portion of the exam, and you didn't went to a Prep School, your starting off at Ra Yellow in the middle ranking dorm." the staff member there explained over to Luke why most of them are in Ra Yellow.
"It doesn't matter where you start." Yuo told Luke. "You can work your way up to the top rank after all."
"But what about them, how are they having Blue?" Luke pointed over to the girls who blinked which was oddly a good point as they also didn't went to a Prep School to enter Obelisk Blue.
"As we explained, all girls are placed in Obelisk Blue as there is no Ra Yellow or Slifer Red Dorm for them." the staff member explained.
"Why not?" Romin asked her confused.
"Unfortunately it's the only rank with a dorm that is appropriate." the staff member answered the question before then saying, "We apologize for any inconvenience this brings."
"It's fine with me." Yuga Goha smirked.
Yuran suddenly blinked seeing Yuka handing him her bat which his sister told him. "Since you'll be around him without me use this to keep him in line."
"Alright." Yuran slowly accepted the bat looking at it.
"So now... what now?" Yuga asked them.
Mimi at that said over to them, "Well I'll be meeting up with Chancellor Sheppard to make things official for me here. You all can look over the island since today's not a school day to get you all settled in. But change into your Blazars first before looking around."
"Right. That makes sense." Asana nodded before pausing and turning to Tiger. "Wait, does this mean we're going to be roommates?"
Tiger grinned over towards her. "Looks like it Asalina. And don't expect me to go easy on you when we duel again. I'll win this time."
"We'll see." Asana grinned.
"I guess we'll see you later Romin?" Yuga asked with a smile.
"I got Yuka, Tiger, and Asana with me." Romin said with a smile over, "We'll see you boys later."
"Changing rooms are over there." Mimi directed towards a location for them to change.
Nodding they all walked off only for Luke to blink. "Huh, wait Jaden where's your Yellow blazer?"
Said boy blinked turning over, "I'm... sorry who are you all?"
"Apologies, my name is Gavin Sogetsu." Gavin mentioned. "We're your classmates and we saw your match. It was rather impressive that you turned things around with only 200 life points."
Jaden blinked before he grinned, "Well nice to meet you all too. I'm Jaden Yuki. And this is Syrus Truesdale." He gestured to a blue haired glasses teenager with him.
"H-Hi." Syrus waved over towards them also holding a red version of the blazars like Jaden.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Luke." Luke grinned. "The next King of Games."
Jaden however grinned, "Oh your also trying to be the King of Games. Well you have to get passed me first!"
"Done, then let's have a match right now." Luke grinned.
"Boys, boys!" Tiger stepped in there way looking fierce in between which intimidates them together, "Leave the fighting for now, we're supposed to get settled in!"
Luke shuddered before nodding. "Ok... later then."
"Yikes..." Jaden trailed off before looking over, "Sorry who are the rest of you?"
"Yuga Ohdo, nice to meet you." Yuga smiled with a wave.
"Romin Kirishima, and this is my cousin, Roa." Romin introduced with a smile while gesturing to her cousin who gave a peace sign with a grin.
"I'm Nail Saionji." Nail gave a small polite bow.
"My name is Yuro Goha. Nice to meet you." Yuro smiled over, "These are my brothers, and sister, Yujin, Yuran, Yuka, Yuo, and Yuga."
Said siblings wave while Yuga Goha only looks away with crossed arms with a nod of acknowledgement.
"I'm Asana Mutsaba." Asana introduced herself before gesturing to Tiger, "And this is Luke's older sister," Tiger gave a nod. "Tiadosia, but refer to her as Tiger."
"Why?" Syrus asked confused.
"Cause I said so." Tiger answered still looking as fierce from before.
"Finally I'm Mimi Imimi, your new professor!" Mimi grinned before then sweatdropping, "Well... as long as I make things official with Chancellor Sheppard before then."
"Huh, but... you're younger than some of us." Syrus mentioned looking at Mimi. "Right?"
"I'm 37 years old!" Mimi snapped over in her typical annoyance about her age.
"Seriously?" Jaden asked in shock.
"Yeah, she's also a mom." Yuga grinned over with his hands on his hips.
"I'd advice against asking why she still looks like a kid." Gavin suggested over towards Jaden, and Syrus.
They looked shocked before nodding.
"Um… congratulations?" Syrus asked.
Mimi only grinned before looking at her watch, "Well I gotta head over to the Chancellor's office to make things official. I'll see you all in class." She turned to walk off before pausing, and turned over, "And STAY out of trouble. Okay? Good luck!" She headed off feeling giddy about working at Duel Academy while everyone watched off.
"Uh... huh..." Jaden trailed off before he shakes his head, "A-Anyway! Why don't we look around campus?"
"Maybe once we've gotten settled." Romin admitted. "We can meet up later?"
"Well we're gonna look around. Come on Sy!" Jaden said running off.
"H-Hey wait Jay!" Syrus cried before rubbing his head looking over, and bowed before running off.
"Hey no running in the halls!" Gavin snapped like the Student Council President he is before he sighed rubbing his head before turning over, "Sorry but I got to make sure those two don't get into trouble."
A bit later in the Girl's Dorm...
They all blinked seeing the Dorm looks like a small castle.
"This is… a dorm?" Romin asked in shock.
"This thing looks as grand as a Palace!" Yuka agreed also stunned.
"From what we seen Blue seems to be the most favorited dorm so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise." Asana admitted over with crossed arms.
"Favoritism is a bit obvious." Tiger frowned.
"Hello there." a voice said from behind which they looked seeing Alexis with a brown haired girl, and a black haired girl wearing the same blazers, "You also freshman?"
"Oh, yeah. My name's Yuka Goha." Yuka nodded before frowning.
"Romin Kirishima."
"Asana Mutsuba." Asana also introduced herself before gesturing to Tiger, "And this is my best friend, Tiger, but I just call her Tialina."
"Tialina?" the two girls asked confused.
"Only Asana calls me that!" Tiger looked fierce as she snapped that.
Alexis nodded at that. "Got it."
"Do you know if we see the boys often?" Yuka asked frowning slightly.
"Well often at class, and sometimes out of the dorms why?" the black haired girl asked before blinking, "Oh I'm Mindy."
"I'm Jasmine, and this is Alexis Rhodes, the Queen of Obelisk Blue!" Jasmine grinned holding Alexis' shoulders who blushed from the nickname.
"My brother Yuga, he…tends to go overboard." Yuka explained.
"Overboard?" Alexis asked blinking, "Like... how much?"
"Well..." Yuka started before explaining while Romin, Tiger, and Asana confirmed the kind of duelist Yuga Goha was.
"Yikes. Not much of a sore loser huh?" Mindy asked hearing that.
"I could say the same about Luke." Tiger frowned. "Yuka's brother might be bad but he's nowhere near as bad as mine."
Romin rolled her eyes slightly. "That's true, but you can't deny he's a good duelist. He's practically undefeated."
"Well I think of one person or actually two who can beat him." Alexis said hearing that.
"Really, who?" Asana inquired a the seven of them walked into the dorm.
"Zane Truesdale, and my own brother Atticus." Alexis explained over, "Zane is the big man on campus, and he also never lost a duel during his three years here. He's a senior right now."
"Huh, he sounds pretty skilled." Romin admitted.
"You bet. He was the chosen representative for the School Duel twice in a row." Jasmine grinned over.
"Do you think we'll be able to meet him?" Asana inquired.
"Hard to say. But I'm good friends with him since he was my brother's best friend." Alexis smiled over.
"Huh, that makes three and a half of us with brothers then." Romin noted. "My cousin Roa is basically a brother. We're bandmates too so we spend a lot of time together."
"Your in a band?" Jasmine asked surprised. "What do you play?"
"Well.. the guitar, it's on my back." Romin mentioned.
She gestured to the guitar case on her back to show them.
"Whoa that's kinda cool." Jasmine grinned, "Think you can teach us some tricks?"
"Huh? Well, I can try." Romin offered taking out her Guitar which they saw was also like a Duel Disk as she started playing.
"Huh? That thing's also a Duel Disk?" Mindy asked surprised blinking as they listened.
"Yeah, it is." Yuka nodded. "Yuga made it for her... Yuga Ohdo, not my brother."
"He must be quite the genius." Alexis admitted seeing it.
"Well he is. He fixed R6." Asana smiled remembering the time helped her with R6 when it got broken that one time.
"R6?" Mindy asked in confusion.
"...My friend." Asana admitted remembering it. It isn't here now so she has to use a regular Duel Disk to duel now but hopes it's okay back home.
Tiger gently patted her back. "It'll be ok."
Asana nodded hearing that. "Thanks."
Meanwhile with the boys...
They all just arrived at the Ra Yellow dorm which is a two story building. Not as grand as the Obelisk Dorm they see in the distance but looks luxurious.
"So this is where we live while we're here?" Yuga Ohdo asked curiously. "It looks nice."
"I suppose it can work for the King of Duels." Luke shrugged over. "At least until I advance enough."
"So should we head in?" Yuro asked them.
"Sounds like a good..." Gavin started.
"What's this, the Ra Yellows are baby-sitting now?" taunted a male voice.
Overhearing that they looked over confused. They saw a smirking boy in a blue blazer.
"I'm... sorry?" Roa asked confused.
"You heard me." the boy smirked. "You little brats clearly aren't here to become duelists. Maybe it's your nap time?"
Yuro frowned, and as the oldest moved to talk, "Hey, we aren't carrying a sign saying 'Harass us please' on our backs. What do you want?"
"Are you talking back to your better?" the boy questioned. "In case you haven't noticed I'm an Obelisk Blue which means I'm above all of you."
"Above us? And I'm correct that guess that means your one of this academy's top elites?" Yuro asked playing this game with this boy who is clearly too arrogant by his dorm choice.
"Of course." the Obelisk Blue smirked. "The superior duelists."
'I sure am glad I'm not like him...' Yuro face-palmed interally from how arrogant this boy is along with Yuro being the oldest of the Goha President Six.
"If you are superior perhaps you can prove it?"
Hearing the voice both the Obelisk Blue, and Yuro turned over seeing Yuran emerged from the boy crowd having said the challenge over towards the Obelisk.
"You're challenging me?" the Obelisk smirked staring at Yuran. "Fine, it'll be a good opportunity to show you why Obelisk Blue is the top dorm around here."
"Yuran are you sure about this?" Yujin asked his brother.
"This could be a learning opportunity to see how strong Obelisk are." Yuran explained over as he stepped forward, "Also be a good time to learn how this Academy settles conflicts, and issues."
The Obelisk smirked at that. "Alright, let's duel then."

"I'm in a good mood, so I'll let you go first... not that it'll help you since I already have everything I need to finish you off." the Obelisk Blue told him.

Yuran nodded looking over his hand before he said, "I think, I'll start by placing this monster face-down." A set monster appeared as Yuran then sets two cards, "Then I place 2 cards face-down, and end my turn."

"I activate Defense Destroying Sword's effect from the graveyard." Yuran said calmly as the spell vanished, "By banishing this card from my graveyard, when you attack a Kendo Warrior or a Millennium Shield on my field, that monster's Battle Position is switched."

"Great." the Obelisk Force frowned.
"In addition it gains 1000 Defense Points." Yuran revealed.

"You damn Ra Yellow brat!" the Obelisk Blue snapped.
"Well Yuran's monster is safe this turn... but aren't you guys... feeling a bit disappointed?" Roa asked the boys cupping his chin.
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Yuo nodded.
"Enlighten us." Yujin said over.
"Well... this guy keep saying he's an elite, and a powerful player so... I don't know maybe seen a exotic monster, or has a complex strategy handy but... so far I'm feeling left down... it's just simple powerful attacks, nothing new." Yuga Ohdo admitted over.
"Indeed, easily predictable." Yuga Goha agreed sneering, "Honestly, I'm disappointed if that's what this Obelisk Dorm can do."
"What was that?" the Obelisk Blue snapped, "Watch and learn, this duel ends on my next move."

'That's what he thinks. Thanks to my trap I'll wipe out whatever he plays and then I'll bring the original Barbaros back and finish him off.' the Obelisk Blue thought.
"I activate the spell, Kendo Standstill." Yuran activated a spell.

From Luke's call Call of the Haunted, and the Obelisk's face-down shattered with Barbaros.
"And then you take 300 points of damage for every card destroyed." Yuran added.
Before shattering the card was revealed to be Beast Rising, a trap that permanently would power up his Enraged Battle Ox to 5500 attack points as he cried out losing all his life points.

"Seriously? Is that all these Obelisks can do?" Luke asked a bit stunned from how weak the Obelisk before them is. "Unbelievable. Not worth the trouble."
"Maybe he was an outlier?" Yuga suggested. "I mean... it was just one Obelisk so maybe someone else is stronger?"
"Hopefully otherwise there all just as pathetic." Yuga Goha stated over before glaring over towards the Obelisk who shuddered from the stare, "Get out of our sight."
The Obelisk Blue couldn't help but shudder at that glare before running away in fright.
"I'd say good show."
They turned around seeing Bastion was standing at the entrance of the dorm with a grin, "At all honestly, I'd expected better from the Obelisk but you proved to be better then him."
"It doesn't take a genius to see he wasn't much." Yuran said over to him.
Bastion nodded from that, "Well you won't find an easier time if against me. Oh, I believe we haven't met yet. I'm Bastion Misawa, nice to meet you all."
"We saw your duel, that was a smart move using Destruction Ring on your own monster." Yuo mentioned.
"Well I use formulas, and calculations to make victory possible." Bastion said over, "I also seen some of your own matches. I'm trying to work on strategies to see how to best defeat you all but it's proving a bit of trouble."
"Well you won't be defeating me that easily as I will be the King of Games." Luke grinned over with crossed arms.
"That's quite a bold claim. Can you back it up?" Bastion asked him curiously.
"Of course." Luke nodded.
"Perhaps we can have our own duel soon." Yuga Goha smirked.
"Well now isn't the time. It's time for the welcome dinner." Bastion said over to them.
"Welcome dinner, that sounds good do they need any help?" Gavin inquired.
Bastion blinked which Yuga explained, "Gavin here is the Student Council President, and helps out with every task at our own school."
"Oh, no I don't believe they do." Bastion now understanding why he asked said that to Gavin.
"Well if you're sure. Should we head inside?" Gavin asked.
"That sounds like a good idea to me." Bastion smiled as they walked in to the dorm.
Ulrich362: Well, the girls have found their dorm and made some friends while the boys had an unpleasant encounter with an Obelisk Blue who Yuran managed to take down and are about to have a welcome dinner along with one of their new classmates Bastion Misawa... oh and as for Jaden and Syrus we'll see how things went for them next time... along with seeing what Mimi's going to be doing at Duel Academy.
bopdog111: Maybe her dueling as some sort of initiation requirement?
Ulrich362: Makes sense to me... though, correct me if I'm wrong but she doesn't actually win in Sevens does she?
bopdog111: No she doesn't, and that's a real shame since SEVENS changes the treatment of how the girls act in Yu-Gi-Oh. Even her own son defeated her although he didn't realize it. Mimi is one of my favorite characters probably number 2 to me in SEVENS, and I use her Deck (all three combined), and it's a incredible Deck to use.
