It was a few hours since Yuran defeated the Obelisk Blue, and everyone gotten settled into the dorms to where Mimi herself was waiting outside Chancellor Sheppard's officer for her to head in to talk about her becoming a Professor of Duel Academy, and wonders how it would go. She would clear up about her age, and height just in case he gets confused.
"Mrs. Imimi come in." Sheppard mentioned.
Hearing that Mimi cleared her throat checking over herself before taking a breath walking in the room. She saw Sheppard and Dr. Crowler as the former looked surprised seeing her while the latter frowned.
"Is this some kind of joke, where is Mrs. Imimi and where is your blazer student?" Dr. Crowler questioned.
Mimi only pouted to him, "I'M Mrs. Imimi! Yes, I may look like a kid but I'm in my late 30s!"
Sheppard blinked hearing that as Dr. Crowler glared at her. "A likely story, now who are you really?"
"I don't think she is lying Crowler, Mrs. Imimi please excuse me for asking but, why do you appear as such a young girl?" Sheppard asked.
"I... don't actually know." Mimi admitted rubbing her head sheepish before getting an idea checking her pocket, "I have proof though! This is my nametag from my time working as a librarian!" She hands the nametag over to Chancellor Sheppard which he takes seeing her picture with glasses, and her name listed as Mimi Imimi, and her age is 37.
His eyes widened before smiling as he handed the nametag back. "Well, did you have a position you were interested in Mrs. Imimi?"
Mimi pockets the nametag before shrugging, "A professor hopefully. I may not look it but do actually have a valid teaching certificate back at my hometown, and before checking in, it's still up to date."
"Ridiculous, 37 or not the students of this academy won't learn from someone who looks like a child. You lack the respect or authority necessary to be an instructor here." Dr. Crowler told her.
"He has a point, though that can be handled... a duel tomorrow afternoon. Seeing your talents should convince even the most difficult students to take your instruction seriously." Sheppard suggested. "What do you think?"
Mimi hearing that grinned over, "Well I was a part of a group of elites known as the Top of Hexagon at a company, I used to work with. I assure you, you won't be disappointed with what I offer."
"Then you can have your match tomorrow afternoon." Sheppard smiled. "In the meantime I'm sure Yuzu will be wiling to share a room with Mrs. Imimi wouldn't you agree Crowler?"
Dr. Crowler sneered from this before saying, "Yes quite assuming she, and Banner mind."
"Crowler will escort you Mrs. Imimi, Yuzu is his younger sister and her husband Lyman Banner is in charge of the Slifer Red Dorm." Sheppard explained calmly.
"Slifer... that's the lowest dorm right?" Mimi recalled over.
"Yes, it is." Dr. Crowler frowned.
"Well alright then." Mimi smiled over crossing her arms. "Well let's get going sir."
Dr. Crowler frowned before walking off clearly annoyed.
Mimi, and Dr. Crowler walked together to the Slifer Dorm where Mimi looks over Dr. Crowler seeing he looks more woman then man but doesn't bring it cause like herself, he probably also suffers from a identity complex but probably feels his frustration on it but doesn't see why he seemed annoyed about the mention of Slifer so she decides to bring up a conversation, "So your Dr. Crowler right? I've seen your duel against that guy Jaden."
"That slacker got lucky!" Dr. Crowler snapped angrily.
"Slacker?" Mimi asked confused hearing that with a blink.
"He didn't get lucky Vellian, and you need to stop calling the Slifer Reds slackers." mentioned a female voice. "They put in just as much effort as any other students."
Hearing that they looked over seeing an older woman looking younger then Dr. Crowler with long blonde hair having a gentle stare, and smile with a blue robe on smiling against the wall with crossed arms.
"Ah, Yuzu... we were just heading to the stadium for miss Imimi's test." Dr. Crowler mentioned indicating the apparent child with him.
"Oh, so you're my opponent?" the woman asked calmly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, my name's Yuzu Banner."
Mimi smiled over bowing. "Well nice to meet you. I'm Mimi Imimi. Your opponent... tomorrow afternoon. That was what the Chancellor said the duel will take place."
"I'm looking forward to it." Yuzu smiled.
"Yes well... the Chancellor had suggested she stay with you, and Banner until tomorrow." Dr. Crowler stated over towards his sister.
"Oh, well you're more than welcome Mimi." Yuzu smiled.
She nodded as they walked off while Dr. Crowler headed off in a different direction. Mimi looked over towards Yuzu before she smiled. "You know you look like a beautiful young woman."
"Thank you." Yuzu smiled hearing that only to pause. "Are you allergic to cats? My husband Lyman has a pet cat named Pharaoh."
Mimi shook her head no. "No I don't have any problems with cats."
Yuzu nodded offering her a hand. "Then shall we?"
Mimi nodded taking it, and walked with her eventually arriving at the Slifer Dorm which Mimi blinked seeing the exterior. Seeing her expression Yuzu sighed. "I know, I feel the same way."
"Why is it like this instead of one of the fancy ones?" Mimi asked her.
"It's a ranking system, Obelisk Blue is at the top, followed by Ra Yellow in the middle, and then at that bottom you have Slifer Red. The students with the lowest grades and, well the least extravagant dorm." Yuzu answered though Mimi could tell she meant the worst dorm but didn't want to outright say it.
That made the child appeared woman to frown probably knowing why Dr. Crowler was so rude over. "Is that why your brother is such a snob towards Slifers?"
"Yeah, I keep trying to tell him they have as much right to be here and as much potential but... well he's a bit biased towards Obelisk Blue." Yuzu admitted sighing.
"Ah Yuzu, is this who your opponent is?"
They looked over seeing a smiling black haired man with a ponytail wearing glasses, and holding a plumped brown furred tabby cat in his arms.
"Yeah, Mimi meet my husband Lyman Banner." Yuzu smiled walking over to kiss her husband's cheek. "He's the head of the Slifer Red Dorm."
"Well nice to meet ya." Mimi bowed to him smiling. "Mimi Imimi, nice to meet ya. And don't be fooled by my appearance I'm 37."
Banner's eyes widened slightly. "Thirty-seven, oh my... you're very youthful for your age miss Imimi."
"Yeah... I don't know why." Mimi admitted shrugged over. "But yeah I'm a woman, and a single mother."
"Well, you're more than welcome to join us for dinner." Banner offered with a smile.
Mimi nodded over with a soft smile before after noticing Yuzu, and Banner holding hands she frowned over looking down.
"I'm sure you'll find someone special." Yuzu reassured her gently.
"No it's just... it's reminding me of the times I spent before I divorced." Mimi admitted over to her before taking out something from her pocket which is a photo looking over as she softly smiled seeing it.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Banner apologized. "Why don't you come in and I'll fix us something to eat."
Mimi looked up softly nodding pocketing the picture walking in with the headmasters.
The next day...
All of the staff along with the group of new Ra Yellows, and Obelisk Blue Girls that Mimi was with along with the people they befriended Alexis, Mindy, Jasmine, Jaden, Syrus, Chumley, and Bastion were in the arena where Mimi is dueling Yuzu as they walked on the field together shuffling each other's Decks.
"Good luck, but I don't plan on going easy on you." Yuzu mentioned. "Becoming an instructor isn't easy."
"I don't plan too either." Mimi grinned over towards her. "I hope your ready."
"I am, as the challenger you can go first." Yuzu smiled.
Mimi nodded as they walked together readying as Chancellor Sheppard rose up announcing. "Alright you two may begin... NOW!"

"Next Party Party Party's effect!" It glowed as she glowed again. "By changing all Aquas on my field to Defense, I gain 400 points!"

What rose up was a young woman with green curled hair having earrings, and necklace on her while having a blue jacket, and black pants having a hidden diamond pattern with long black boots with a black undershirt with a golden symbol back with a purse having the symbol of Monster Reborn on it, and in her hand is a pink feather fan that she is waving.

Mimi takes another card. "If you think she's good now wait until you know her ability! By sending a card from my hand to the graveyard," she discarded a card as Dian Keto on her field boogied around. "she parties hardcore which allows me to increase by Life Points even further by 1000!" She, and Dian Keto moved in sync as Mimi gained more points twirling around in a pose together. (Mimi: 5900/Hand: 1)
"She almost gained 2000 life points before Professor Yuzu could play a single card." Alexis cried in shock.
"That's how her Deck works." Gavin took this chance to explain over. "Her main strategy is using her cards to gain Life Points while overwhelming her opponents to either prevent there resources, or overwhelming there monsters with her Dian Keto cards. Her biggest advantage is gaining an early lead with gaining Life Points as her greatest defense."
"That sounds like a good strategy." Jaden smiled. "Maybe if she passes the test she'll let me have match with her."

"Actually, she can." Yuga Goha told him simply. "Swirl."
"Now, Malice Doll of Demise and Relinquished attack her life points directly!" Yuzu declared.
Malice Doll threw his axe while Relinquished fired a blast both striking Mimi hard which she kept up her cool. The attacks weren't enough to deplete all her Life Points but they still packed a punch. (Mimi: 0800/Hand: 2)
"She barely survived, good thing she increased her life points but how is she going to turn things around now?" Gavin questioned nervously. "She's at a complete disadvantage."
"It's not over until the last card is played." Jaden stated over on the edge of his seat watching the duel. "As long as she has a card to play she's still in the game!"
"Alright, I'll end my turn by setting this last card." Yuzu mentioned before frowning. "I wish you the best of luck turning things around."

What rose was an identical woman except she has a chef's robe along with a long blue skirt having a metal ladle in place of the fan, and holding a pot shaped as a cannon over her shoulder with a hand holding it with the arch behind her on fire.

"Well that's cause I'm only getting started! The monster that was sent was something called Shoulder Phone Nyan Nyan!" What appeared above her was a red haired horned girl wearing a jaguar like leotard with the same gloves, and socks having a phone.
Syrus gasped. "Oh man... wow."
"Wait you feel the same with Thunder Nyan Nyan?" Chumley asked him hearing that.
"Yeah... I do." Syrus admitted blushing as Bastion frowned.
"Will you two be serious for a minute?" he scolded them. "Honestly, have a little dignity."

"So one monster." Chazz frowned. "Big deal, she doesn't have anything useful."
"Alright come back Guarding Mermaid!" Guarding Mermaid rose up readying in defense.

"With that Dian Keto Cooking Master attack Relinquished!" Dian Keto aimed firing four fireballs from her pot cannon at Relinquished.
"Relinquished won't be destroyed, Dian Keto the Boogie Master goes to the graveyard instead and we both take the damage from your attack." Yuzu revealed.
The attack hit as Boogie Master was destroyed while the backlash hit them both.

"Well now it's not anymore! Alright Shoulder Phone Nyan Nyan destroy Relinquished!"
Nyan Nyan charged forward towards Relinquished. Yuzu braced herself as her monster shattered.

"Ah man she almost had her!" Syrus grunted from this seeing this.
"She has a lead though. Malice Doll will only deal 100 points when it attacks Cooking Master." Asana said over towards them. "And now with Relinquished destroyed, it gives her an advantage."
"No, she still has that facedown card remember?" Yuran pointed out indicating the card.
"So what's keeping her from using it?" Yuka asked him.
"She's waiting for the right moment, my guess is she plans on ending the duel on her next turn." Yuo answered.
Mimi at that said over towards her. "Alright your up." Both Guardian Mermaid, and Shoulder Phone Nyan Nyan both shattered leaving the Cooking Master as Mimi's monster.

"At the end of my turn this spell tributes one monster I control and deals damage equal to half its original attack points. Malice Doll of Demise has 1600 points originally so even if this attack won't finish the duel, my spell will. Malice Doll of Demise destroy Dian Keto the Cooking Master!"
Mimi watched in shock as Malice Doll threw his axe which Dian Keto smacked away with her tongs which hit Mimi. (Mimi: 0200/Hand: 0) But Cooking Master wasn't destroyed.
"Your monster survived?" Yuzu asked seeing that.
"Banishing Triple Threat Thunder forbids her from getting destroyed." Mimi explained.
Yuzu nodded. "Well, in that case I'll end my turn. Which means Ectoplasmer's ability activates and buy tributing Malice Doll of Demise you take 800 points of damage."
At that Malice Doll limped before it's soul exited shooting, and passing by Mimi.

With the duel's end the field spell vanished heading everything back to the area as before.
"Well, if would appear miss Imimi failed her test." Dr. Crowler smirked.
"Don't be too sure Crowler." the Chancellor has some other opinions himself smiling towards this. "I think she'll be a fine addition to the staff after seeing what she can do."
"Are you sure?" Mimi asked turning to him. "I did lose the match."
"Well true however I never said you need to win or lose the duel." Chancellor Sheppard explained over to her. "The test was for us to see what you can do, and you proudly show the kind of abilities you can do. So it's with great delight we welcome you to Duel Academy."
Mimi smiled at this before nodding. "Right! Thanks Chancellor, I won't let you down!"
"I know you won't." Chancellor Sheppard smiled back from this.
"Congratulations, you did awesome!" Yuga Ohdo called cheering for her.
She turned over where all the people she was with walked over as Yuro smiled over. "You weren't the standing president of Goha Enterprises for nothing. Even if you have lost you done all us proud."
"Now we will see each other, and grow stronger while we're here all together." Tiger grinned with crossed arms.
"And of course not to forget that we will figure out why we're here." Nail added reminding everyone the reason why there here.
"Ah thanks everyone." Mimi smiled over to them.
"Oh, since you're our teacher that means you won't give as much homework right?" Luke asked hopefully.
Mimi gave him a dull look which is pretty much his answer. Luke pouted at that.
