Eventually everyone gotten settled in following that last match but before Mimi's duel to be a professor another thing happened behind the scenes involving that Chazz boy that spectated the duel with the others. It starts when Jaden, Syrus, and the others checked around the Academy.
Earlier...
After dressing up with the others before heading to the dorms they all walked around to check around campus. Even the Goha Siblings won't admit it but the setup is kinda impressive for an old era back then before they were ever born. Still the favoritism around Obelisk Blue leaves much to be desired from how favorable it is looking. But they do know the dorms later on, and fall them on three categories.
1. Obelisk Blue the most favorable dorm has lots of rich kids, and snooty kids who gotten in the Academy through connections, and as displayed by Yuran later on are really pathetic Duelists using Power Decks that can be easily countered. Even Yuro the Duelist who uses that same tactic when Rush Dueling calls that pathetic. Another thing is that they believed they are high, and mighty being in the top dorm of the school allowing them to insult, and bully other students.
2. Ra Yellow might probably be the most fair of the three dorms as to get in to Duel Academy is to have good marks, and defeat your opponent in a practical duel which is by all means a fair requirement. Plus it isn't the most biased since Yuga, and the others did had some degree of trouble in there matches (and tests courtesy of Luke and surprisingly Yuga Goha) to be placed into the Ra Yellow Dorm just managing to pass above a 80% score.
3. Slifer Red or the 'Slifer Slackers' as the Blues normally called them is the most biased out of all of them. As called by one of the seniors there they were called the Red Wonders which translates as 'I wonder how flunkies like us ever got this far'. The sad truth is that even if some of the students there like Jaden are powerful Duelists, and are passionate about it, they were placed in Slifer Red for completely biased reasons (thank Dr. Crowler for Jaden's part), and that just because there test results weren't that good was enough to place them in Slifer Red. Really preposterous since the 'elite' Obelisks can barely do anything while Slifer are so much better.
These three reasons lead to the Goha Siblings really criticizing the Dorm Selection over to the students though mostly towards Slifer Red, and Obelisk Blue. If Duel Academy is a school based for Dueling, let their dorms be selected by how good they do in a Duel rather then on a written test or a snooty prep school. Still there not members of the School Board, or the Chancellors so they can't make, bend, or shape the rules so they will have to go on with it...
But for Gavin's case he is certainly the type to complain to the Chancellor about the three dorms later on but right now this is gonna be about there encounter with one of the best Duelists they ever known even if his attitude isn't up to date yet...
"Whoa this is a pretty slick Duel Arena. Maybe we can all duel here?" Jaden's voice was heard as they all entered the main arena used for big events known as Obelisk Arena which is the big dueling arena for Obelisk Blue, and for big events.
"Probably." Romin admitted. "I wonder if this is for special events."
"Oh, you mean like a RoaRomin concert?" Yuga Ohdo grinned hearing that.
"Hey not a bad idea Yuga. Won't be the same without Toombs, and Geta but me, and Romin will be plenty enough together." Roa gave a grin on his part cupping his chin. "I can see it now the two of us rocking around in the Academy showing our talent over, and show myself where I will be the King of Duels!"
"Yeah right it'll be me who'll be the King of Duels!" Luke argued over towards to while he had claimed the title by defeating Yuga in the Battle Royale, Yuga managed to defeat him during the final battle with Otes which by all rights allows Luke to relinquish the title to Yuga again so he's gearing for a rematch when the chance arises.
"Hey calm down the only one who'll be the King of Games will be me." Jaden grinned over towards them with crossed arms while not knowing why there referring the title as 'King of Duels' he pretty much gets it's the same thing.
"Some things will never change." Yuka sighed looking at Tiger. "Still, it is nice to see them so enthusiastic right?"
Tiger nodded over from this looking around. "This arena is pretty nice but looks to be exclusive."
"Hey I'm not worried this is our campus right?"
"Wrong, this is our terf what are you all doing here?" questioned a male voice.
Hearing that they looked over seeing two Obelisk Blues. One has tanned skin with short brown hair while the other has glasses, and light blue hair.
"We're looking around the campus." Gavin answered. "Something that we have every right to do."
"Is that a joke, this is for Obelisk Blue students only." the tanned Obelisk mentioned before pointing over. "See the crest?"
"Huh?" Luke asked looking only to blink. "You mean that tiny thing over there?"
Although small it was shown as a crest of Obelisk.
"Yeah this is our terf nothing for you all to see." the glasses Obelisk glared at the boys. "Now why don't you stop bothering the girls, and get on outta here?"
"Excuse me!?" Luke questioned glaring at them. "I might not have gone to some fancy school but I'm a better duelist than any of you and if anyone's going to be the King of Duels it's me."
The two blinked looing at each other before they started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Luke questioned.
The two Obelisks stopped looking dull over to him. "A Ra Yellow Reject, King of Games? That'll be the day! Only thing more hilarious would be if a Slifer Slacker be the King of Games!" Well at least now they know about the insulting nickname they give to Ra Yellows...
"Well... that Slifer Slacker is me." Jaden admitted over to them.
Looking over the tanned boy widen his eyes. "Hey Taiyou it's him the guy that beat Crowler!"
"Huh?" Confused the glasses Obelisk looked, and widen his eyes. "Huh! Hey your right! Listen here the boss wants to talk to ya!"
"That's right, that be me."
Hearing the voice they looked over seeing on the bleachers was Chazz was laying lazily before sitting up straight to look over towards them.
"Huh, who are you?" Jaden asked seeing him.
The two Obelisks quickly moved to snap over.
"You watch it that there is Chazz Princeton, and he is the No. 1 duelist back in prep school! So you make sure you give him the proper respect, got it?"
"Yeah, he's gonna be the future Kings of Game! The best duelist in the world!"
Jaden hearing that felt a sense of competition as he turned away with a grin crossing his arms. "Impossible."
"Say what...?"
"Cause as I have said earlier the only one who be the King of Games will be your's truly!" Jaden grinned over pointing a thumb at himself.
"Weren't you listening, I'm the one who's going to be the King of Duels." Luke told Jaden. "Once I beat Yuga again I'll get my undefeated record back."
"Why you-"
"Can it you two!" Chazz snapped over to the two Obelisks. "Maybe there right."
"Uh, what do you mean Chazz?" Taiyou asked surprised to be hearing that from him.
"The Slifer Slacker was the one that defeated Dr. Crowler, and I suppose that takes SOME skill. And that Ra Yellow Reject summoned 3 Level 7 monsters that can attack twice all at once did had SOME skill." Chazz stated over towards them before he then smirked. "However was it skill or luck? I'd say we find out."
"A duel, sounds good to me." Jaden grinned. "Get your game on!"
"What are you three doing? You're going to be late for the welcome dinner." interrupted a female voice.
Looking over they see Alexis, Mindy, and Jasmine walking in all together looking annoyed.
"Welcome dinner?" Syrus asked.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that... we'll settle this later." Chazz mentioned before walking off with his two followers.
Alexis sighed from this before turning over. "Sorry about that... that's how every Obelisk acts around Slifers, and Ras... well most of them." She was referring to her, Jasmine, Mindy, and the girls with the others as exceptions towards the Obelisk's high and mighty attitude.
"They'll learn their place soon enough." Yuga Goha smirked. "Maybe I'll use Mons..."
"No." Yuka told him hitting him in the back of the head.
"Swirl!" Yuga Goha groaned at that.
Probably everyone not with the group all blinked seeing that which Yuro explained over to them. "She... keeps him under control."
"If you call THAT control." Jasmine admitted seeing that. "So... that's who you talked about Yuka? The one who's not a very good sore loser?"
"Yeah." she nodded.
"He's a great duelist, probably one of the best among us though he takes his passion for dueling way too seriously." Yuga Ohdo explained over to them about it.
"Second only to Luke." Gavin agreed over. "He's the only person he lost too."
Luke grinned wiping his nose with confidence. "Well sure how else can I be the King of Duels if I lose?"
"Yuga managed to beat you." Romin pointed out causing Luke to pout.
"That was a one time thing and I'll beat him in our rematch." Luke pointed out.
Tiger sighed hearing that. "Why don't we all go and have the welcome dinner... you can duel later."
"Oh right!" Jaden geared himself. "I'm down to chow down as long as it's fried shrimp!" He turned over to the other Obelisks. "Sorry we didn't get your names."
"Alexis Rhodes." Alexis smiled.
"Jasmine."
"And Mindy."
"Alright see ya! Come on guys!"
"Jaden wait!" Syrus ran to follow Jaden.
"Well we should probably head on over to the Ra Yellow Dorm. Bastion said there almost ready." Yuga Ohdo said over to the boys which they all nodded over.
"Well let's head on girls." Romin said to the girls who nodded, and headed out.
At the Ra Yellow Dorm...
All of the boys were stunned from the exquisite selection of food over. Red Bean Buns, a whole Lobster, Napolitan Spaghetti, and most over extravagant delicacies.
"Wow, this looks amazing." Yuga Ohdo grinned.
"Ah yeah! No Dragias Curry but I can certainly dine over all of these!" Luke already had two forks at the ready to start munching down.
"Hopefully Romin doesn't get any ideas..." Gavin shuddered a bit from the numerous times that Romin's Dragias, and Prima Gutarina Curry made from pretty nasty explosions. Seriously that girl can make delicious food but so deadly at the same time. "Whatever just make sure you don't do TOO much like last time Luke which landed us in that situation in the AI restaurant!"
"Uh, Gavin?"
"Yeah?"
"Luke's already eating." Gavin widen his eyes directing his attention where Roa is pointing showing Luke eating large portions of the food.
"Luke!"
"Great Scott, he sure has quite an appetite doesn't he?" Bastion nearby asked a bit stunned from how big Luke can eat while Gavin tries to stop him from eating everything.
"You get used to it." Yuga shrugged starting to eat himself.
"Well Luke's tastes are good. The Lobster is quite divine." Yujin admitted over looking satisfied with eating a part of the lobster. Hearing snickering he looked over curiously seeing Roa trying to keep himself from laughing. "What?"
"S-Sorry it's just... you use a water aquatic themed deck, and your eating lobster!" Roa couldn't keep it in started laughing from the irony going on.
Yujin blinked looking at the lobster before shrugging continuing to eat. "Seafood is good. What's wrong with that?"
"Just the irony..." Yuro admitted for him shrugging.
Just then a bell was ring at the front of the room. Hearing that everyone turned to the bell.
A elder black haired man having two pointed mustaches wearing a large Ra Yellow Blazer was there as he smiled to everyone. "Welcome new youngens to the Ra Yellow Dorm. I am the headmaster of the Ra Yellow Dormitory, Professor Sartyr. I teach over card design, and welcome to cooking classes should you all wish to try learning these skills when you want to help anyone other in a duel."
"Card design?" Yuga Goha inquired with a smirk.
"Don't even think about it." Yuran warned him over. "Yuka gave me her bat to keep you from doing anything."
"Pardon?" Bastion inquired.
"Our youngest brother is... very passionate on dueling. Doesn't take losing real well." Yuo explained over.
"And… he shouldn't create cards." Yuga Ohdo admitted.
"Unless we want another situation with Monster Reborn to happen..." Gavin trailed off remembering all the trouble everyone gone through after Monster Reborn was created with Yuga Goha using it. It's original creator Otes maybe gone for good now but the damage left behind by him using the card still haunt them at times. As long as no-one recites the words they use no-one's memories will be jumbled.
"...So with that." Sartyr finished the speech he was saying. "I wish you all luck despite what the Obelisk Blues have been telling you. Teach those whippersnappers that you do have the potential to be great duelists."
Everyone smiled at that though Yuga Goha smirked instead.
So dinner was handled pretty much mild with no incidents over. Soon they get settled to there rooms where Yuga Ohdo finds himself being roommates with Nail, and Bastion.
"From seeing your duel it be interesting to see how we pair together Bastion." Nail admitted from seeing this. "If you don't mind having us as your roommates of course."
"Not at all." Bastion smiled hearing that. "Though I should warn you I tend to use any available space for my calculations."
"What do you mean?" Gavin asked hearing that.
Yuga Ohdo however does seem to get it. "Oh so you mean your making your room as your laboratory where you use the walls to write formulas, and equations?"
"Yes, I have quite a few ideas already just from seeing the entrance exams." Bastion confirmed.
"Oh cool! So that means we be partners! I have my own laboratory back at home where I make my roads!" Yuga Ohdo looked to be excited from being in rooms with another genius eager to work things with Bastion.
Nail stared before he shrugged. "Well... as long as you two give me my space I don't really care. It'll be weird without Sebastian but I can manage as long as you two give me my personal space." His chair really was called Seatbastian however after the Goha Siblings really found the name that bad, and Nail never realizing how ridiculous it sounded renamed his chair butler into Sebastian to make it sound better as a new chapter in there lives.
"Of course, I'm sure we all understand that we need our own space on occasion." Bastion nodded.
"Yeah, don't worry Nail." Yuga Ohdo smiled only to notice something. "Huh, where's Luke going?"
Hearing that they looked to see Luke running off towards the direction of the stadium they saw earlier.
"Luke!" Gavin yelled reaching a hand. "Our own room is this way!" He sighed frustrated. "Might probably finding Chazz."
"I probably need some steam cooled off." Yuo sighed face-palming when he sees his roommates are all his brothers. "Honestly, do we need to stay together everywhere?"
"Come on Yuo it be a good time for us to bond together."
"If you count our situations with Yuga Goha 'bonding'..."
Yuga Goha rolled his eyes. "If you all are gonna stand there I'm gonna see what this Duel will go too." With that he headed off to follow Luke.
"We're suppose to be in our rooms by curfew!" Gavin snapped like the disciplinarian he is before sighing annoyed. "Honestly can't they act mature in anywhere but home?"
With they all ran towards the arena where Luke ran in seeing Chazz. "There you are, so you accepted my challenge?"
Chazz looked over seeing him as he smirked. "Of course. I was planning over calling you, and Jaden together but glad to see you know things aren't settled over yet. I'll teach you to respect your elders, and let me be the King of Games."
"In your dreams, the only one becoming the King of Duels is me!" Luke declared confidently.
"Anyone else thought this would've happened?" Roa seen this coming a mile away after getting the impression from Chazz.
"It's Luke. That's who he is." Yuga Ohdo shrugged over from this crossing his arms. "After what we seen in the Entrance Exams how will he do against this guy?"
"Assuming he isn't like that Obelisk, Yuran defeated." Nail said over to them. "Even if they are like that we can't deny that not all of them are that easy to deal with."
"Since you challenged me I'll go first." Chazz smirked.
"Alright."

The Lukeman might be gone now after flying off but Luke still uses these cards since they given his Deck some new added upgrades. "And to start off I think I'll summon The Dragon!"
Placing a card was a small black superhero like dragon with golden flashing stars on it's mask, and torso raising up.

Shooting down was a golden armored dragon shaping as a superhero too having large claws, and having glowing yellow eyes.

Chazz frowned seeing the monster.
"Glad to see it's on our side now." Yuga Ohdo admitted seeing it recognizing it completely destroyed Yuo at some parts of the Duel before the Lukeman Fusion Summoned against him.
"And now by sending the top card of my Deck to the graveyard, I can activate the Star Dragon's effect! It's attack points lower by 500!"

"But it lowers your soldier's points by 1000!" Luke revealed pointing at Chthonian Soldier. "The Falling Star Slam!"
Chazz frowned at that.

"And now Star Dragon attack that soldier! The Spinning Star Strike!"
The Star Dragon flew up before shooting down spinning around down towards Chthonian Soldier. Chazz grunted as his soldier shattered.

Only to suddenly smirk as Luke noticed his monsters sword flying towards him. Luke widen his eyes as the sword slashed through him making him yelp holding his shoulder. (Luke: 2200/Hand: 4)
"Hey what was that?" Roa asked quite surprised from that.
"It was the special ability of my Chthonian Soldier, when it gets destroyed it deals the same damage I would take." Chazz smirked. "And I have the trap Chthonian Blast!"

The Dragon cried out shattering from the effect while Luke grunted glaring at Chazz. "Except The Dragon doesn't have any attack points so the only thing that done is destroy it!"

Luke frowned looking at a card in his hand called The Fusion. 'Since The Dragon is gone from the field I can't use this now...' He sets a card. "I end my turn."

Raising up was Dragias who has a large gold star like symbol on it's chest while having two mouths, and looking meaner.

"That might be enough." Gavin pointed out. "Chazz doesn't have any cards in his hand after all."
Luke only grinned. "Well I have this handy! Half Shut!"

"And now Dragiastar F attack Infernal Incinerator! The Concussive Electroball Strikestar!"
Dragiastar F charged a large blast firing it out towards Infernal Incinerator.
"And now attack again! The Surgeslash of Infinite Ruin!"
Dragiastar F charged in firing a second attack down. Both of the attacks hit Infernal Incinerator not destroying it but the damage hit Chazz wiping out his life points.

"This isn't over!" Chazz snapped running off.
"Boy Luke, I think whoever altered your Deck made you even stronger." Yuga Ohdo admitted sheepish with a sweatdrop as they walked to him.
"The King of Duels needs to be the best." Luke grinned at that.
"You can't call yourself the King of Duels unless you beat this guy, and me." Roa grinned patting Yuga Ohdo's back.
"Must you let the King of Duels be your entire passion? Try moving up the ranks of Duel Academy before then." Gavin suggested over towards them.
"Oh I will." Luke grinned at that before pausing as he yawned.
"Yeah I am feeling tired." Yuro admitted rubbing his head. "Come on we better head back to the dorm. We gotta see how Mimi does tomorrow for her to be our new teacher."
"Yeah, she needs all our support." Yuo agreed.
