~Sometime ago~
"What happened to her, grandma?" Ben asked while watching Porlyusica check Mira's body out.
"Don't talk to me! I can't concentrate." Porylusica said sternly, silencing him.
Sometime later, Porlyusica finished her check up, and then she sighs. Ben gulped his saliva nervously as Porlyusica turns around and looks at him with a serious expression.
"She is..." Porlyusica paused, making Ben even more nervous.
"Pregnant." She said with a serious tone, causing a horrified expression to appear on his face before he fully realized what the granny had just said.
"Yeah, that's what I just said. What happened to her were just the symptoms of her pregnancy. It hasn't been a week since she became pregnant, but the symptoms have appeared already. Well she will be fine, she just needs to rest. Congratulations Ben." Porlyusica said with a smile, such a rare occasion.
Ben is still stunned and his mind instantly went blank.

Even A.I Chip mocked him, but he doesn't react. He is too stunned, shocked, surprised, dumbfounded, happy, worried, etc. All kinds of emotions are filling his heart that his mind just went blank because of them.
Porylusica waved her hand in front of Ben's stunned face, but he doesn't even blink. She sighed and pushed him out of her house so she can properly treat Mira's pregnancy symptoms. Mira also needs to rest, so it will bad if Ben suddenly snapped out of it.
He might scream or faint and fall on Mira. His presence is too dangerous for the pregnant woman because he might do something unpredictable. That's why the old woman chased Ben out of her house. It's not like she's annoyed by his idiotic stunned face, certainly not that.
Outside the tree house, Ben is looking at the sky with a blank expression. His mind is still processing what just happened. Then sometime later, his guild mates come over to him and the previous scene happens.
Ben finally came back to his senses when Erza slapped him because he doesn't respond when they congratulate him. He looks around in confusion before his mind works well again. Then tears flow out of his eyes and he yelled happily.
"WOOHOO, I WILL BE A DAD!" Ben yelled happily.
His voice was so loud that everyone else needed to cover their ears. Porlyusica suddenly came outside with a very angry expression and hit Ben with a broom.
"YOU ARE DISTURBING YOUR PREGNANT WIFE!" Porlyusica yelled before going back inside.
Ben shut his mouth but his smile didn't disappear and he kept mumbling that he'll be a father happily. The others sigh helplessly but then they smile happily. Ben and Mira have experienced a lot of disasters, but they've been very happy lately, so they are all happy too.
Mira is resting in Porlyusica's place that night to make sure she is healthy. Ben stays by her side and helps her do everything to make sure she doesn't get tired. He is very excited about this whole thing and wants to make sure that his wife and baby are healthy.
The old doctor taught Mira and Ben things about pregnancy and raising children. Ben wrote it all down in a notebook, something that he never did before because he had A.I Chip. But he felt like he needed to write them down while also asking A.I Chip to take notes.
3 days later, Mira's condition improved and her symptoms disappeared. They just need to make sure that Mira doesn't get tired but also needs to work out a little so she'll stay healthy. Ben promised to do everything Porlyusica said before taking Mira home.
He didn't use teleportation because he is worried that the effect might be detrimental to Mira. They use Light Runner, but Ben drove slowly because he wanted to be as careful as possible. Mira is giggling seeing Ben drive so carefully to make sure the ride is comfortable.
"You don't need to be this careful, you know. This is still the 2nd week of my pregnancy, so it should be fine if you drive like you normally do. Light Runner is the best car you've ever made and it's very comfortable at any speed. So there won't be any problem if you go a little faster." Mira said.
"No! The baby is still too young, they are still vulnerable." Ben said in a serious tone with his eyes glued on the road.
"Alright, alright, just do what you want, papa." Mira said teasingly.
Ben still has his serious expression, but his lips curl a little after hearing what she called him. Mira keeps giggling before enjoying the slow and comfortable ride. She keeps rubbing her stomach while smiling.
After getting home, Ben escorted Mira inside like a knight escorting his queen. He doesn't even let her open the doors and carried her in his arms when they climb the stairs. Mira sighed, but still let him do it because he looks very happy.
Their siblings return from the guild right after they get home. So Ben gathered them together and assigned them tasks to do during Mira's pregnancy. They all need to make sure that nothing goes wrong during that time.
"Listen! Grandma Porlyusica has taught me the things that we need to look out for during Mira's pregnancy. We need to keep this house clean all day, but it's too big for us to clean by ourselves and we have jobs to do. So I will hire some workers to help clean the house. I will also hire some workers to take care of chores. So I need you guys to stay by Mira's side and take care of her needs."
"We will take jobs at different times. You guys stay as a team. When I take jobs, you guys stay at home and when you guys take jobs, I will stay home. Learn everything in this note so nothing will go wrong. Let's make sure Mira and the baby stay healthy." Ben said very seriously.
Elfman, Lisanna, Wendy, Bella and Carla nod seriously. Just like Ben, they were excited about this. Ben then told the younger ones to accompany Mira while he went to find workers to do house chores.
The siblings go to meet Mira in the bedroom immediately after Ben left. They are curious about many things, so they want to ask Mira about them. She giggled seeing them all excited, so she told them everything she knew.
The next day, 5 maids and 2 gardeners arrive at their house. They are the workers that Ben found the previous day. He had done some thorough check-ups on them and they are clean, so he chose them.
The maids will take care of house chores like cleaning, cooking and anything else. The gardeners will keep everything outside of the house clean and tidy. That's why the gardeners are men because their work is very tiring.
"Didn't you find a job a few days ago? Why don't you go do it?" Mira asked Ben because he stayed by her side the last few days.
"I didn't take it. The job isn't important right now." Ben responded with a rather haggard face.
"I know my health is more important, and you want to stay beside me all the time to make sure the baby and I are fine. But you don't look fine, you look very tired. You have accumulated a lot of stress lately because you keep worrying. I will be fine, Elfman and co are here, and our friends keep coming to check on me. Bisca has taught me many things so I will be fine. I am not a weak woman, you know. I am a S-Class mage, so I will be fine and I'll make sure our baby will be fine." Mira told him.
"But-" Ben protested before being cut off.
"Go take that job, Ben. You need to release that stress. Besides, this job will help you get stronger, right? What if you aren't strong enough when Acnologia appears again? Who will protect our baby if you can't?" Mira asked.
Ben became silent before nodding. Mira smiled and patted his head. He then told her to sleep for now, and the next day he will hunt down an Etherious.
