When Uhura got Jim and Spock together a few months ago - a gift for which Jim will never stop being grateful - she encouraged the boys to learn each other one-on-one first. When Kirk brought aboard a weapons specialist to help with their current mission, he hadn't been expecting for the turn of events that suggested the Enterprise would never see peace on a journey. Khan and Kirk have just gotten onto the bridge of the USS Vengeance and Scotty stunned Khan after he helped them to get onto the bridge. He was unconscious for just long enough for Kirk to cuff him so he could not escape. Kirk is determined that Khan will pay for his crimes. Our heroes (and villains) are forced to watch Star Trek Into Darkness and comment on it. This is a humor/parody fic of the new Star Trek movie. The whole thing is a HUGE SPOILER. Sure, a five year mission can have its down days, but when the Enterprise is busy... the Enterprise is busy. And everyone gets worn out at some point. Fluff featuring sleepy!Spock, Bones and Kirk bonding, and just a bit of h/c. But mostly just fluff.

When Captain Kirk is suddenly struck down by a mysterious illness, Dr. McCoy is faced with the challenge of trying to save his best friend's life. But another force is at play, and it soon becomes clear that Jim's condition is no accident. A new chapter added that explains a lot of the mystery.

Jim stopped pulling on Spock's arm and a mischievous glint flashed in his blue eyes as he straightened up. A cold stone of foreboding settled in Spock's gut. "Get out there and dance, Spock. Captain's orders!"
