Danny Fenton: Season of Growth

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! Long time, no see! Hope all of you are doing well!
Before I do or say anything, I want to give praise and honor to the Lord. Thank you God for helping me in my works, but most importantly… thank you Lord for helping me through these turbulent times. Thank you Jesus for my family, the friends I made here and also in real-reality. I will do my best, to strive to be a better servant & soldier for Jesus Christ. And to not fall for ways of the world, especially on how it is now.
Lately have been seeing some news that has my head shaking in disbelief on what is going on in my own country as of late, and also with situations abroad all over the planet. It makes me very grateful to God that He saved me; from myself, from the world & from the toxic and wrong stuff that is sadly spreading out over country.
People may call this particular movement that is going in my home country the WOKE Movement… but to be honest, I believe it is more accurately called the STONED Movement. The people under the influence of this movement are more or less like the addicts who take various drugs that get them on a very artificial high. They go around in a daze, very numb and also only aware of what they feel which leads them to be very much vulnerable & easy to manipulate. What good is following your heart without a strong mind and will to back it up?
They do not watch where they are going or what they are doing, high up on pride, arrogance, hypocrisy, fear and so on. I can go on, but it would take two days and nights to even be at the halfway point. I shake my head a lot, wondering where common sense, decency, honor, truth and more have gone. On why many golden Truths and more have been replaced with flimsy/flawed/fickle/fragile opinions and choice that make no sense.
So again, I praise the Lord for His Truth, His Word/Will/Ways that have saved me from myself. Saved me from being absorbed into a culture that is on its way to self-destruction, and I hope to guide as many people back to Jesus before it is too late.
In any case, I just wanted to let you all know that I have been bouncing ideas and such from a very dear friend of mine about this series in which I WILL see through to the end! She is incredibly gifted, her mind very much spotting small, subtle but significant things that will really make the story follow its title! Danny, the thirty women who are with him of which only one he will have to choose in the end, the others back in the other universe, Goku and the other Dragonball characters will experience growth in various ways! Good and bad experiences will forge them like how a blacksmith forges his or her crafts.
I will also use scenarios that are based in real-life here… scenarios that will be HARD for me to write down. Believe me, some of the stuff I have planned I am NOT looking forward to write… but it is necessary for the characters & the plot to grow and develop.
This will take much time, effort, trial and error to do… but I believe it will be for the best! And also, I hope this series gains notice like my Disney/Toho works.
I will continue to hope and pray the best for the country I live in. I will continue to hope and pray that the people remember the many fine lines that used to be visible in the past. The small, subtle differences that are quite significant & make the entire difference between what is right & wrong. And that certain barriers/boundaries/limits were set up in the first place for a very good reason.

I wish to do this for my Tia Pamela Espurova-Allen. She is working with police and other official groups to locate and bring home a missing girl that is part of a family she works with & has befriended. Her name is Lina Khil, a little girl that was taken on December 20th, 2021. The search is still on for her, but so far… no luck.
Her information is this: She was four years old when she was abducted; hair brown, eyes brown, race Afghan, weight 55 lbs. & height 4'0. If any can help to locate and find her, please do so and notify the proper authorities. Hoping and praying still that she is found alive & returned to her family. They have put up a special about her on TV thanks to the San Antonio Police Department. Any information you wish to seek about her you can search for online, and hopefully it will help to find her and bring her back home safely.

In the words of Winston Churchill- You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. I will not kowtow or submit myself to others who feel offended at such in what I believe in, and make a big fuss or drama over it that causes unnecessary/unwanted trouble because of them being oversensitive and such.
I cannot please everyone, nor do I ever want to. In the words of my pastor Rick Godwin from my church Summit Christian Center at San Antonio, it is this- Those who seek to please everyone lose only themselves, who they are and displease their own beings. Okay, not an exact quote since my memory is not the best but you get the idea I hope.
I am making stories for people to enjoy them, not to please every single being. I have my own ideas, standards, thoughts, theories and so on. If people do not like my stories, it is okay. I cannot please all, and will not lower or compromise myself to please all either. Goes the same in real life too.

When Danny and the ladies arrive, it is at the very early stages of the Piccolo Jr. Saga, at the exact moment when Shen Long was revived and granted the wish of bringing those that were killed by Demon King Piccolo and his minions back to life. And with a three-year gap before the next tournament, it would give Danny and his date's ample time to explore the new reality/world they are in & to collect the Dragon Balls.
Danny Phantom is a cartoon series that was created by Butch Hartman, developed by Steve Marmel. The series aired on April 2004, the network that released it was Nickelodeon. The production companies were Billionford Inc. and Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with the distributors being Viacom International Inc. and Nelvana. Look for my Danny Phantom series and specials when getting the chance, if you please. This takes place after the episode De-Stabilized, but before Phantom Planet. And also, said last episode will NOT be featured here.
DragonBall is a manga/anime series that was written by Akira Toriyama, published by Shueisha Inc. with North America published by Viz Media. The manga was created in December 1984, ending in June 1995 with forty-two volumes. The anime was directed by Minoru Okazaki & Daisuke Nisho, produced by Tokizō Tsuchiya/Kenji Shimizu/Jun'ichi Ishikawa. Studio was Toei Animation, licensed by Funimation Entertainment for North America. Original network that broadcasted it was Fuji TV, with multiple English networks such as Cartoon Network Toonami and Funimation Channel. It ran from February 1986 to April 1989.
If you wish, use your imagination and put in any kind of song/music intro from any anime series with the Intro and Outro here. And also, so no one is confused, this is DragonBall & not DragonBall Z. And also, not going to follow the Dragonball Super anime or manga series in any way. And not going to follow the current, too-many arcs to name that have been cropping up recently.

Episode- Phantom Revelation
~At the former RR base~
In the living room of the manor that used to house Commander Red and his elite officers of the formerly fearsome Red Ribbon Army, an awkward situation was unfolding. Danny Fenton and the others from another completely different universe had come to welcome in Master Roshi from his little trip around the area, the old but very potent master of martial arts doing so in order to come up with a suitable training regimen for his fourteen new pupils.
It then evolved as they received new visitors, apparently from Oolong and Puar's past as students at the Shapeshifting Academy some years ago. One of them was Miss Yume Tenshi; top student at her magical high school called Niewiadomska Sorceress High, one of the top five students at Ramiro Wranglers Ranch that capture and study dangerous creatures which include dinosaurs and dragons & finally a graduate with honors from Ronald's Sorcerer University.
The other was Inukami Dezato, an anthro female wolf who was the best friend of Tenshi-san & looked to her like a big sister. And also apparently an old acquaintance of Oolong… well, said label could be a stretch since it appears that the shapeshifting pig did something that almost blew a mission. But what kind of mission, it was anyone's guess.
And apparently things were now exposed when Yume declared that she had come to train/educate Gwen Tennyson, Sabrina Spellman, Musa Liqin, Cleo Sertori and Diana Lombard in the art of magic. This surprised Danny and some of the others as they had not learned that the five ladies could do magic… and it was blown further when Dezato-san had proclaimed that certain ones were not human such as Kara, and that Danny was a supernatural being!
For the moment, it was a bit of a tense situation as no one knew what to do next. Thankfully, it only lasted for a moment as Bulma spoke up in a confused tone, "What? Supernatural? Danny? And another is not human?".
Inukami nodded and replied in an honest but blunt tone, "Yup. The orange-skinned girl is definitely not human, as is the one with the glasses. All of them have an otherworldly scent, but just a pinch of it. The mentioned have a strong scent then all of them, and the one with the long deep-red hair smells like them, but has a mixture of mortal scent that makes her into a hybrid.".
The anthro female wolf looked to the others and continued, "A handful of you have that airy magical scent, though that baby female dragon you got has distinct mixture of elemental feeling to it. And I know those five over there are martial artist as they are giving off that powerful, strong scent that is not unpleasant to me. The small white one though is a mix of spicy and minty, telling me that he is also psychic.". At the last statement, she looked to Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Krillin and Master Roshi.
The entire group was amazed on how spot on Inukami's smelling ability was, as she was able to discern the differences just by that alone. What they did not know was that Yume had trained her in the early parts of their blooming friendship, discovering that the anthro woman had a keen sense of smell like a regular normal wolf. However, she felt that it could be taken further, thus training her to be able to identify certain smells on another spectrum which was the ones that went beyond human.
With the way the Dragonball world, it was easy to find magical & mystical beings to learn the different scents. Be it subtle or obvious, Dezato-san's nose was quite accurate to spot those that belonged to a certain field/class.
Said person looked to Kitty, April and Felicia and stated, "You also have an unusual scents. The one with the freckles has a subtle otherworldly scent like the other two, but it's watered down-some with a dash of minty scent like the small white one. The other two have scents like that of pears, telling me you are more than just human.".
The surprises just seemed to keep on coming, the entire party just amazed on how accurate the female anthro wolf was!
Inukami's amber-gold eyes locked onto Danny, who flinched a little at seeing such an intense stare from the anthro. Sure, he had gotten some glares from some of his enemies but he had gotten used to them. But this… this was different. She was not an enemy per say, but he felt something that was something akin to his friend Wulf. It was a primal kind of stare, the kind that would peel past the physical and go down deeper.
For his spirit friend, it was to see if Danny was a genuine threat. But in the case of Inukami, it was something slightly more intense as she was trying to discern something more accurate.
She got a bit closer to him, her eyes looking into his sky-blue ones. The others were tense, wondering on what she was about to do or say. Not Tenshi-sensei, as the magical teacher was just waiting with a curious expression on her face.
After some moments, Dezato-san spoke in a tone that was firm but also held a confused quality to it, "But you boy… you smell different. You have that tingly, tickling sensation like fresh grass that spirits have. Yet I feel it's not… natural as you also have the fresh smell of damp earth like mortals have.".
Spectra flew to be at Danny's left and inquired in a curious tone, "What do you mean by that?".
The anthro wolf woman looked to the ghost and answered in a confident tone, "What I mean is this. You and the other ghost girl have the scene of deep moist air & grave soil, which is the scent that most have when they shed off their mortal coils. But this one here, Danny as you call him… he smells like fresh cut grass with earth after a rainstorm. It tells me that he is like you, but not dead like a ghost & that it's by artificial means instead of natural.".
This really put Danny and several others on the spot, as it seemed their secrets had been revealed but in a way that they would never have thought even remotely possible.
Oolong also surprised the lot as he spoke up, "If any of you are doubtful, trust me that even I can say ol' Wolf-Dog Face is right when it comes to something like this. Her nose is scary accurate, so it's rare that anything can escape her smell.".
Puar flew to her friend/old bully and inquired, "Really? How do you know of this?".
The shapeshifting anthro pig looked to the she-wolf, who merely glared down at him, and answered Puar's question, "Some years back after being kicked out of the school, I ran into her when she was on a mission. She and I were in a tough spot with a lot of enemies around us, but we helped each other out to get through it.".
Inukami growled softly at Oolong, who had a nervous smile on his face as he took a couple of steps back. The friend of Yume spoke in a heated hushed tone that also had an icy edge to it, "It was very temporary, you little perv! You kept trying to get a feel for me, and those transformations of yours were lousy & so short! We almost got caught because of you multiple times, and I had to use my skills to drag you away from getting turned into bacon! Although I kept thinking that I should have left you to get what you deserved, but my darn conscience was in the way!".
Some of them made a mental note to find out a bit more of Inukami's past when it presented itself… and a majority of the ladies were now going to make very much sure that Oolong kept in line, otherwise his perverted tendencies might have him wind up as bacon for breakfast or perhaps a large BLT sandwich!
Yume went to her friend, putting a hand on her shoulder which had the effect of calming her down some & also switching her attention from the anthro pig to her someone she considered a big sister. Miss Tenshi spoke in a tone that showed she was a bit displeased by her actions, "Inu, I think we may have to put you through a refresher course on proper etiquette when meeting new people. Such as NOT revealing something that your nose picks up.".
The tough-looking wolf beauty put her right hand behind her head, chuckled nervously with a sweatdrop on the side of her skull & answered, "Heh, sorry about that Yume-san. I know it was just out of the open and blunt like that but… well, their scents just kinda overpowered my common sense since honestly I have never smelled anything like them before.".
The schoolteacher gave her friend a disapproving glare and shaking her head, showing that it was still a weak excuse in doing what she did. Indeed, a refresher course may be needed for the young wolf woman. However, she opened her eyes and looked to Danny and the others. She spoke in an apologetic tone, "I am sorry for my friend here. It seems that she needs to identify something right off the bat if it is not familiar to her rather than wait.".
Danny chuckled nervously and replied with a small smile, "Hehehe… none taken. Though I am surprised on certain things.". He gave a brief but subtle look to Kara, Gwen Ten., April, Kitty and Felicia. The ladies were a bit worried now, as it seems their secrets as well as Danny's was now exposed like this.
Each of them had planned to reveal themselves, but of their own time and choosing which varied. But it seemed that the choice was out of their hands.
However, Master Roshi spoke to the group as he stated, "Well, none of you have to tell us anything. It's your choice if you want to say something, but we won't force you.". This caused the other natives to the world to nod their heads, though some like Puar and Oolong were very curious. Naturally, all of them were mildly curious due to what Inukami had stated, but it was the two shapeshifting anthros that were more curious.
The ladies looked to one another for any other support, then looked to Danny. Seeing all of the eyes on him, the halfa hero weighing his options in his head. After some careful thought and consideration… he made his decision.
He looked to the ladies and said, "You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. But… I believe I can trust them with all of me. They have helped us out so far in a way that I don't think others back in our world would.".
This made the thirty ladies realize that Danny did have a point there. If they were taken to any other place back in their world, to a place of complete strangers who did not know them, most likely the ones that received them would have exploited them, demanded some kind of explanation, and more. And sadly the negative scenarios/outcomes outweighed the positive ones.
Inukami looked confused, while Yume just had a patient smile on as she was waited for Danny to speak. All eyes were on the resident of Amity Park, as he looked to the newcomers to the manor.
He inhaled deeply, then exhaled to calm his being & gather his thoughts. He then spoke to Yume and Inukami, "Myself and the girls are from a completely different universe altogether. We're not from this world at all. As for me… well…".
Danny closed his eyes and focused, the blue ring of light appearing around his midsection. This surprised Master Roshi and those native to this particular universe. It still surprised the ladies, as it was still something to see as they have only seen it just a couple of times. The blue ring soon split at the middle; one going up, the other going down. As the rings went their respective ways, Yamcha and the others saw the change coming. Danny's clothes were being replaced by a black latex material, and also the hair on his hair went from pitch black to snow-white!
When the rings completed their destination and vanished… Bulma and the others gasped at seeing the Fenton lad now sporting a black and white hazmat suit! His shoes were replaced with white boots, gloves now covering his hands, a white belt around his waist, an unusual insignia that looked to resemble the words DP in the middle of his chest area… and when he opened his eyes, his sky-blue eyes were replaced by striking emerald-green ones!
The transformed hero looked to the DB crew & the two newcomers and spoke, "Everyone… meet Danny Phantom, halfa and superhero to my hometown of Amity Park.".
He was now awaiting their response, most likely awaiting apprehension. However, he was surprised when Bulma and blue-haired Launch called out in surprise, "That is so cool!". This had him gain a look of surprise on his face, the stunned state making him look cute to a majority of the females there.
Krillin grinned and exclaimed with a smile on his face and a tone that was more of a positive kind of surprise, "Wow! Now that is some trick! How did you do it?!".
Yamcha added in with the same tone as his small friend, "Yeah! I mean, how is it that you changed your clothes, hair and eyes like that?!".
Tien Shinhan smirked a little and stated in a tone of conviction, "Heh, I knew there was a reason that you felt different. Now I can see, and feel it clearly.".
This got the attention of Danny and the ladies as Sabrina exclaimed in surprise, "Wait! You could feel that he was different?! How?!".
It was Master Roshi that answered her question as he walked towards the group a little, "When one trains extensively in the martial arts, one can extend and enhance senses. Myself, Tien and I believe Chiaotzu as well have learned the ability to feel out others. We felt that something was different about some of you, including Danny. But we decided not to say anything on it until any of you were comfortable to speak on your own.".
This surprised the visitors from another universe, and it showed on the faces of said group. Launch then suggested, "How about we have breakfast first, then we can ask Danny more on who & what he is? Besides, it's already served and I would hate for it to get cold.".
Master Roshi replied in an upbeat tone, "Well, hate to waste good food! So come on everyone! Let's satisfy our stomachs first, then our curiosities later.". He then walked past the stunned group to the Dining Room, soon Tien and Chiaotzu following the elderly master. The stomachs of various people growled, some louder than others, to indicate that they were indeed hungry.
Yume blushed in embarrassment, smiled and stated in a tone that fit her current emotion, "Well, using teleportation magic does take some energy to do. So come on everyone, let's eat first!".
One by one, the group went to the large Dining Room, Danny being last as he was followed closely by his adoptive daughter Nebula.
~At the Dining Room~
It seemed that Launch, Emma, Jen, Sabrina, Cleo and Gwen Ten had made yet again a delicious-looking breakfast that was a mixture of Western & Eastern dishes. And it was fortunate for the two newcomers that they had made plenty as there was enough for them to enjoy. All sat down at the table, Nebula opting to eat behind her halfa father. Debbie filled her food bowl with various meat bits and fruit slices, her water bowl already full of clean drinkable water. The small baby dragon squeaked happily at her, licked her cheek before proceeding to eat her breakfast.
The older Thornberry sibling wiped her cheek from the dragon's lick, but didn't make a face like she normally would have. Instead, she just had a small smile on and chuckled softly before going to her own seat. Danny was sandwiched between Felicia and Daria, already taking some food which consisted of pancakes, a small serving of strawberries on the side & a tall glass of milk.
Once everyone was seated and had their desired food & beverage, Master Roshi and the others native to the world called out, "Itadakimasu!". Once it was said, they started to eat.
Shortly after consuming some of her breakfast, Wendy looked to the Turtle Hermit and inquired, "So Roshi, is that ki thing you told us about earlier the reason you sensed what Danny and the others was?".
The potent master of martial arts gulped down some orange juice before looking to the young lady and answered, "Oh, no no. It wasn't anything like that.". The visitors from another realm looked to the ancient master with quizzical looks, which did look cute on certain ladies there.
Master Roshi gathered his thoughts together, then spoke in a lectured-tone, "While ki is latent energy within the body that can be used to enhance physical strength, speed, the senses and more… there is also something that goes beyond that. Tell me, do any of you know of the sixth sense?".
Cree replied in a tone that had a curious quality to it, "Is it like psychic power or ESP?".
The bald martial artist looked to her and answered, "In a sense, but not in the way you are thinking & it's different from the psychic power that Tien and Chiaotzu use.".
He continued on, "The sixth sense that I am referring to is something that refers to the very spirit of the user. You know how something warns of you danger when its near, or trying to tell you that something is amiss like a conscience does? Well, that is it. And it could be used in a variety of ways.".
This had Starfire, Sabrina, Musa, Cleo, Gwen Tennyson, Kara, April, Phantasma, Spectra and Danny remember the feeling they had when they had seen Krillin use the Kamehameha Wave some time ago. And also for the halfa hero on when he felt that vibration sensation when Chiaotzu used his psychic powers during Master Roshi's rock-finding test, and the static electrical-feeling he felt when the genie beauty Desiree used her magic. They were wondering if what they felt was similar to what the Turtle Hermit was talking about.
Krillin's face took on some realization as he exclaimed, "I remember you doing something like that! When Tien had used his Tri-Beam Cannon at the tournament, you told me that you could sense Goku's aura!".
Seeing the perplexion on the faces of the visitors from another universe, Master Roshi explained what occurred at the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament with Tien & Chiaotzu providing crucial information at certain points. Needless to say, Danny and the others were very much amazed on what they had been told. On how Tien had resorted to using a technique that was considered a powerful, yet also suicidal one as well called the Tri-Beam Cannon.
The three-eyed martial artist explained that his former teacher Shen a.k.a. Master Crane had taught him that move; one that calls up ALL of one's ki, focuses it through both hands, putting both hands together to form a triangle while looking through the center of the shape to lock onto the desired target… then unleashing it all at once with amazing force and power similar to how a cannonball is fired from a cannon!
Master Roshi pointed out that the technique is truly devastating in power and destruction, more so then even the Kamehameha Wave. But with so much power comes at a price… which is the life of the user itself! And even if one survives the after-effects, their lifespan is shortened.
Ginger than asked a pointed question, "If that move is so dangerous, why did you use it in the tournament against Goku?".
Tien looked to the young pre-teen and answered in an honest tone, "I told Goku to dodge the move before using it. I realized back then that going head-on against him was not the answer to winning the tournament, so I used my attack in a different way.".
Yamcha added in, "Goku jumped at the very last moment when Tien used his Tri-Beam Cannon, evading it so the beam could destroy the arena. It was completely gone.".
Krillin exclaimed in a slightly surprised tone, "Completely gone?! Ha! More like reduced to nothing than a bottomless pit! You couldn't even see the bottom!". This got some gasps going around the table as that was something to truly think about.
Inukami spoke up after swallowing some rice, "I saw a picture of it in one of the papers some months ago. The hole was in the perfect shape of a square, the very exact dimensions of the ring and the outer area of it. The reporters stated that it was about 150 feet deep, and it would take some time to fully fill it up & repair the stage for the next World Martial Arts Tournament.". It appears that Yume's friend/sister liked to make sure to keep track of worthwhile events and such.
Kitty whistled and stated, "I know some people back home that would like to have that kind of power.". She remembers some of her adversaries back home such as Lance Alvers a.k.a. Avalanche, also her ex-beau. He had powers of vibrations like creating earthquakes and such, and seemed to have a real thirst for destruction. If someone like him could have power like that, to create a hole that deep, most likely he would use it frequently.
This also had the others imagining already some people back in their home realm on what they would do if they had the kind of power Tien had… and this had a round of shivers going through Danny and the ladies.
Puar than called out, "Hold on! I think we were talking on how Master Roshi felt Goku's aura, and also how it ties in with his definition of the sixth sense.". It seemed that the shapeshifting feline had remembered what the original discussion was about, and so thought it best to get back on track.
Master Roshi was a bit embarrassed on going off track like that, his cheeks a bit red as he remarked to her, "Oh yeah! That's right! I almost forgot. Thanks for getting things back on track Puar. I appreciate it.". The female feline simply nodded and smiled, glad to be of service.
The Turtle Master cleared his throat and remembered on when he left off. He stated, "Like Krillin stated earlier, I could still feel Goku's aura when evaded Tien's devastating attack. That is why I knew he survived. I also could sense his presence in the ring when he fought against Krillin and seemingly disappeared. That is the kind of sixth sense that I am talking about, which is extending your spirit out to sense things that your other senses cannot.".
He finished it off, "It is tricky and requires much dedicated time, focus and training to even do that. And honing it requires much experience and dedication as well.".
Oolong chipped in, "Certain magic people I know, like Yume-sensei here, can use magic spells to actually see the auras of others & see through disguises. It's a bit of a shortcut, but I know that even spells have limits.".
Yume looked to her former student and replied, "Despite your… ahem tendencies, you speak true Oolong. Myself and others can use spells to see what cannot be seen by the other five senses, but even it has limits as does the user. If our physical skills are not kept in shape, then the spells that enhance or go beyond the senses can put strain on him or her.".
Inukami added in gruffly, "Got that right. I know a stupid idiot back on a mission that was a novice at magic, but made himself to be much more with a lot of constant bragging and such. He used magic to enhance his speed, made him go flying everywhere. But the use of it put a strain on his body quickly, both inside and out. And when it was finally over… he died because of severe heart attack. He severely underestimated his own body, and also the effects of using magic like that.".
This had many of the guests widen their eyes like that, except for those like Master Roshi and Tien. They had trained their bodies to their limits on a daily basis, and knew it was foolish to try and enhance even a small part of one's body in what would call a cheat code. If one did not have the body shape or training, it would be a double-edge sword where the price paid would be high.
Yamcha asked Master Roshi, "Do you think that me and Krillin can learn something like that Master? Extending our spirit to sense things?".
The potent elderly master looked to his pupil and answered, "It is possible. But again, requires much dedication and training. But if done right and correctly, you can sense the power levels of others & also be able to see rapidly moving objects.". This made Yamcha and Krillin smile, as now they had a new goal in mind to work to & achieve.
Kim inquired, "And that is how you were able to sense that Danny and certain others were different?". She had trained extensively in martial arts, preferably in the art of kung-fu in which she was an expert in sixteen styles of. However, she was not a MASTER of any of the styles. In any case, she had learned on how to sense danger around her. But what Master Roshi and the others had was on a whole different level.
Master Roshi nodded his head and answered, "Yes indeed. I have also been around the world and managed to get a feel of many different beings; normal, magical, mystical, supernatural and more.".
He looked to Danny and asked, "So Danny… since you trusted us with your other form, do you mind telling me how you came to be? You called yourself a halfa if I recall.".
All eyes were on Danny, the young man from Amity Park gathering his thoughts as best he could. He finished his food first, making sure it was all gone plus his drink, then looked to the audience before him. The fifteen year-old spoke, "Well, it started when I was fourteen years old & in my hometown in Amity Park, North Dakota. My parents Jack and Maddie Fenton, they study the paranormal. Or to be more specific, they look into ghosts.".
Bulma spoke up with surprise in her tone, "Ghosts? You mean like Spectra and Phantasma?".
Danny looked her way, nodded his head and answered, "Yes but… well, they study them only to see on how they could hurt/destroy them.". Seeing the puzzled/shocked look on the faces of the others, the Fenton lad explained more that his parents wanted to destroy spirits by studying them. But most of the community disbelieved their theories and such because they simply didn't believe in ghosts. They were seen as jokes, more or less.
The lad told them their antics had caused him, and his sister Jazz, to be embarrassed immensely by their actions and such. He admitted that both parents really loved them & cared for them… but sometimes that their experiments and certain beliefs in certain holidays caused them to grow up in a rather different way.
Yamcha called out, "Hold on a moment, please. Don't your parents know on what ghosts are?".
Danny sighed and replied with regret in his tone, "If you mean that ghosts are those that have died, I believe they skip over that part. They proclaim that all ghosts are evil, and for a while I used to think that but… well, let's just say I was corrected on that. And later on, I learned on certain others on how they became ghosts in the first place.".
The room was now mixed due to hearing the regret tone in the young man's voice. Some wondered if something happened that made him think more deeply on the matter concerning spirits, and also if something personal had happened that made him re-think his parent's view on ghosts. But the DB crew were wondering on why his folks would degrade a spirit to being something like that of a virus, something to study just so they could destroy it.
He continued on, "In any case, Mom and Dad made many kinds of inventions in their line of work. But their biggest creation was the Fenton Ghost Portal, which is a gateway between the living world and the place where ghosts go to call the Ghost Zone. Although… thanks to some info from Violet, it could be known as Purgatory, but can't say for sure until I get back there to check it out.".
Violet blushed slightly from being mentioned, as she did remember the talk she & Danny when they had gone out to retrieve the rock from Master Roshi's little test. Master Roshi and the others were amazed to hear that Danny's parents were able to make something that broke through the barriers that separated the living world from the supernatural one.
Master Roshi stated, "Now that is quite a feat! My sister Baba, her palace is a doorway itself to the Other World but she used magic & sorcery to make it. The fact that your folks used science and such to make a portal like that is amazing!".
The Fenton lad was a bit surprised to hear that this world had a portal like that, and that it was made by magic rather than science. He pushed on, "Thanks very much. But the thing is, when they tried to make the portal work… it didn't, which was their biggest let down. After they left the basement to nurse their failure, my two friends Tucker and Samantha a.k.a Sam came over to visit me. When I told them on what happened, Sam coaxed me to let her & Tucker into the basement to see the portal.".
He would have called Sam and Tucker best friends… but he was actually evaluating that small but crucial part. Shortly after the painful separation from Valerie before they could become an official couple, Danny had actually started to go down a road of self-reflection. He had started to take a good look at his life & also his past actions, and the self-reflection deepened slowly but surely during his other adventures. More so after meeting with Danielle, and he came up with a solid conclusion to one of his reflections.
While the two had been friends for some years, it was more or less forced.
Tucker was a good wingman and companion, but he did have moments where his actions in trying to be a ladies man got him in situations. Cold shoulder from the girls that he tried smooth lines on, and hot water from the boyfriends who did not appreciate the young techno-obsessed lad hitting on their lady loves.
It had him visit the Nurses office a lot, but it didn't seem to stop him. Despite his tenacity, it's like he didn't learn or grow from the experience. And also he tended to get jealous at seeing what others had that he did not, such as either beautiful girls or being rich. It was just a mild annoyance for Danny that was easy to let it slide.
Or so he thought when Tucker made a wish to have powers like Danny, in which Desiree had granted him. However, the power had gone to his head and he started to do things that he ASSUMED Danny did. The power had soon latched onto his dark-side, which fed on the negativity within the African-American lad. And it soon manifested and changed to Tucker to show his real darker nature, which thankfully Danny was able to separate it from.
Tucker's situation was not like Danny's condition, so it was safe to remove the power that had fed on the lad's negative aspects without killing him. The experience had changed Tucker, somewhat for the better as he realized that with great power comes a greater responsibility… and also that some people could not handle power well. So Danny had opted to put Tucker in the category of Good Friend, not Best Friend… at least not until Tucker did something to truly prove himself.
And Sam… well, she was in a bit of a category all on her own.
Samantha was the one who had managed to come to Danny when they were little, shortly after he and the others had started middle school. It was her that had managed to guide him away from his childhood friends Paulina Sanchez & Star Satellite, during the vulnerable time when Paulina's mother had been killed in a car accident. Sam was on Danny like super glue, dragging him away whenever she could despite his protests. And at the same time, Paulina and Star had been targeted by Dash and the children of the previous A-Listers.
It was during that time that Sam had managed to change things in Danny's life, though he had started to see that it was more bad then good.
The goth would try to force others to see her view point, such as changing the school's lunch menu to her own style without the consent of the students. The school board had confessed that they wanted to do an experiment to see if the new change in menus would help students to eat healthier. Danny later found out that Sam had sent a large donation to the Casper High's budget, hearing a conversation between some teachers that they would be getting a moderate raise in their paycheck thanks to the Miss Manson.
She would also use blackmail to make sure that things went her way, such as the one time when she took a picture of Danny and Tucker cuddling while they were asleep. Danny learned that it was Sam that let out the purple gorilla through a security camera feed that was in the Zoo Security Room during his first encounter with Skulker. He could have called Sam on it in order to destroy the photo, but he believed it would be better if she did it on her own choice.
Sad to say, the photo was still in Sam's collection and apparently to be used as a backup just in case for her.
And also that Samantha was a bit of a hypocrite. While she protested about individuality and such, she tried her best to have people conform to her own views. And also she went about things the wrong way, such as with the Miss Teenage Happy Princess Beauty Pageant that Dora had put together. She had entered the contest in order to make a statement. But later on after the whole fiasco with Aragon, and also getting to know Princess Doraetha and her situation concerning her terrible brother, he started to dwell on the matter in his room.
He thought on the matter hard and deep, until he realized that Sam could have shown her statement & stance in a different way such as protesting, making fliers or anything else that did not involve getting involved like she did. Also, her actions towards Aragon had put her and Dora in serious danger, thus acting without really thinking… just like he had been doing, as he realized.
So while Sam did have some good points like being loyal and helping out in dangerous situations, her negative points was there for him to see. So he had decided to put Sam down in the Good Friends category, and even then it was rocky at best.
Danny continued on with his story to the others, "When I took them down, I told them to wear some protective gear since my parents' inventions tend to leave things messy. However, they said that they didn't need it so I was the only one that wore one of the spare suits my folks had. When I showed them the portal, Sam told me to take a look inside of it to see if perhaps something was wrong on the inside. When I did… I brushed the On/Off button that was inside the chamber and… it came on since my parents didn't unplug the thing after they left.".
This surprised the DB crew, but it was Inukami that exclaimed in a tone that was a mixture of surprise/confusion/anger, "Wait, wait, wait! You mean to tell me that your parents built an On/Off Button INSIDE a chamber that is meant to break a hole in dimensions?!".
Danny smiled nervously with a sweat drop on the side of his head and answered in a sheepish tone, "Hehehehe… yeah, that's the gist of it. Brilliant my folks are, but sometimes… well it seems that small but crucial things seem to fly by over them.".
The halfa hero continued with his tale, "When the portal activated, I was caught in intense and immense electrical energy that shocked me big time. But at the same time, I was coated with ectoplasm which is a substance that makes up a ghost. I believe that when I was being shocked, the energy actually opened me up all the way to my DNA in which the ecto-energy merged with me.".
The DB crew did look worried at that particular part on Danny getting hurt like that, but it was Bulma and Roshi that quickly adopted thinking poses after that. It seemed that something seemed to tickle at their brains, their minds trying to figure out something.
Mr. Fenton pushed on, "When I woke up, I saw that I was on the room floor with Sam and Tucker nearby. According to them, Tucker had to do some tinkering with the computer in order to deactivate the portal in order to get me out from there. They handed me a mirror and… well, what I saw was this. My looks had changed, along with my white hazmat suit. It was then I discovered I was a halfa; half-human, half-ghost. I wanted to tell my parents on what happened, but… Sam convinced me to keep it a secret.".
Puar inquired with a stunned look on her face, "What? Why would she want that? I mean, they're your parents…".
Danny answered her question with a tone of regret, "She stated that my parents would not understand, and also would want to perform experiments on me. Shortly after that, we started to see what I could do. I discovered that I could go back to my human form, but in my ghost form I could fly, go intangible, become invisible and also have super-strength. And when Sam saw this, she declared that I needed to be a superhero since I now had these powers."
He finished up, "And that is how it's been for almost a year now. I have been protecting my town while trying to balance my normal life, which wasn't easy to begin with. And I have been fighting many kinds of bad guys and girls, and running away from my own parents since they don't know who I am when I transform & try to either capture me or experiment on me.".
The story did surprise the DB crew, and some of the ladies still even if they did hear the story from him some time ago. Some were wondering on why anyone would build an On/Off button inside an object that was meant to tear through dimensions, why this Samantha girl had taken upon herself to tell Danny on what he could & could not do, and finally on learning the parents chasing after their own child whom they did not know who he really was.
Launch spoke up in a tone that was a mixture of concern and conviction, "Well, I don't know this Sam girl completely, but I do know that she was wrong to say that you shouldn't have told your parents.".
This caused Danny and the others to look at her in surprise. The deep-blue colored haired beauty continued, "Its like you told us Danny, your parents may seem… well, unusual due to their obsession with ghosts. But they do love you and your sister very much, so I don't think they would have done anything bad to you when you changed.".
At hearing those words, it struck something in the heart and mind of the halfa. He thought to himself, 'She does have a point. Even when Mom and Dad were all obsessed with their hatred towards ghosts, in which I still need to find out why that is, they still loved me and Jazz. I wonder… I wonder if things had been different if I had ignored Sam's statement and told them in the first place…'.
As part of his self-reflection, he often daydreamed on what his life would have been like if he had told his parents in the first place. He was an optimistic at heart, and his daydreams had him seeing a vision of his parents accepting his new form & helping him on his missions. In addition to that, he often daydreamed on how things would be different if he had gotten to know certain female spirits better instead of always doing assumptions like his parents.
But he knew that daydreaming of 'what-if' scenarios was just fantasy, and what do to really do when the time came concerning his parents & female spirits was important. But for now, that would have to wait still.
Master Roshi spoke as well but with a tone that was serious, "That is quite the story Danny, no doubt about that. But I am curious on one thing… are you sure you are half a ghost?".
Now this surprised the young hero from Amity Park, and sparked the curiosity within the entire group. He answered back in a tone that also showed said emotion, "Well… yeah I am pretty sure. I mean, I do have a Core like the other ghosts I know have.".
Cree had a perplexed look on her face as she inquired, "Core? What do you mean by that?". Danny explained that the ghosts he had meant had a Core, the very essence of their being that held their attitudes, memories and more. Only truly stronger ghosts had Elemental Cores, which gave them certain abilities & also was linked to their personalities and attitudes when they were alive. And that said Core was ice, and that regular Cores were right where the heart area was at. But his Core was right dead center of his chest instead of where his heart was.
Danny had learned that Ember's Core was fire, Kitty's was lighting, Dora's was wind without her Dragon-form & Desiree was earth.
Again, the group was learning more about the halfa hero & many committed the info to memory. Master Roshi spoke again in the same tone as before, "I see. And what about your strength? Do you have it in your mortal form?".
The young man was a bit confused by labeling his human side as mortal, but would have to ask him on that later. He answered that his super strength only comes when he changes into his Phantom form, and that so far he can only lift a school bus. That did impress a majority of the people, as a regular school bus weighed between 10,000 to 25,000 lbs., depending on the size and capacity!
This only made Master Roshi give off a 'hmmm' sound, showing that he was in deep thought for the moment. Yamcha looked to him and asked, "Master, what are you thinking about?".
He looked directly at Danny as he answered his pupil's question, "I'm thinking that there is more to Danny here than even he knows.".
The young man and the others looked at the hermit quizzically, Master Roshi stating, "Young man, all of this is very fascinating. But I believe that there are a couple of misconceptions here that need to be cleared up, and also I need to see what you can do before we officially start training.".
Before anyone else could comment on that, the elderly man looked to Yume and Inukami. He smiled lightly and spoke in a tone that he usually would reserve for any pretty girl, "So ladies, you both are here to teach some of the ladies here in magic?".
The duo nodded, Master Roshi also nodding and pushing on, "Well, Gwen is also a student of mine. So it seems we need to work out a schedule for her, and also ask what abilities/talents you have that will help them.".
Yume nodded her head once more and replied, "That sounds acceptable. And also we do have skills and such that I believe will benefit everyone here, not just for our students.". This got the attention of those that were not students of Master Roshi or Yume Tenshi, wondering on what they had that could be of benefit to them.
Master Roshi looked to Bulma and suggested, "Say Bulma, how me, you and Jenny give the ladies here a tour of the place after breakfast? I still need to talk with you two to iron out the last details of my training plan. Also, I'm sure Yume-chan and Inu-chan would love to see how we managed to turn the old Red Ribbon Army headquarter base into our own special retreat.".
The last part of the statement surprised them, especially Inukami more as the anthro wolf woman exclaimed in surprise, "Wait! THIS place is the headquarters of the Red Ribbon Army?! For real?!". Oolong snickered lightly, as it usually would take something quite surprising to really make his old acquaintance speak out like so. It seemed that while the girls had landed at the precise location, they did not realize the full scope of said destination.
Alex remarked, "Yup! This place was abandoned when we arrived here a week ago. Apparently DJ Rodriguez, the one who brought us all here to this new universe, knew what he was doing when he teleported us to this place.".
Danny added in, "It seems that there is still much to tell you two. Master Roshi, mind if I join you all in giving the tour?". The young halfa wanted to make sure to fill in any kind of gaps to the newcomers, and also ask the old martial arts master on what he meant earlier. Danny was fully convinced that he was half-ghost… but perhaps Roshi knew of something that he did not. The possibility was there, and he wanted to know more on what other insights Roshi had concerning him.
Master Roshi nodded his head, answering that he could come along with him and the others. Launch spoke up once more, "Hold on there! Before even that, we need to introduce ourselves properly to our new guests. So after breakfast, we go back into the living room and do that. Then we can do whatever we want.". It seems that sane blue-haired beauty like to do things in order & show good etiquette to guests.
The whole group accepted her proposal, so those that did finish their food waited until the others did. However, certain thoughts were going through the heads of certain ladies- Kara Kent, Gwen Tennyson, Sabrina Spellman, Musa Liqin, Cleo Sertori, Diana Lombard, April O'Neil, Felicia Hardy & Kitty Pryde.
They had seen Danny come clean like so with his Phantom identity, and it was out of his own choice. And they had learned a bit more about him, making him that much more interesting to them. And also curious on what Master Roshi could see/sense that perhaps Danny himself was unaware of. But one thing was for certain… they had now made a decision concerning the secrets about themselves that they had chosen to keep from the others.
Seeing Danny taking the chance of his own volition made them make the ultimate choice as well. Things were going to get more interesting, and it was only early morning!
In the next episode of Danny Fenton: Season of Growth, Master Roshi discusses the schedule of training for Gwen Tennyson to Yume and Inukami while also giving them a tour of the former RR base. (Author's Notes: Whew! This was a bit of a big one! A bit disappointed that I left out my Intro and Outro, but thanks to some wise & good advice from a friend, decided to keep it in the very beginning of the story so people could see it in full like so. Also, had to read back on my previous book to find out my position in the second book here and where to properly go from here.
Before I do anything else, I want to give praise and honor to the Lord. Thank you God that I was able to complete this before Good Friday, and also thank you Jesus for your willing sacrifice that has saved humanity. You are more real and more true than any kind of fictional hero, and I hope and pray to see more people making the choice to go back to you on all levels! And I will strive to become a better servant and soldier for you Jesus!
I really hope you all enjoyed this, and also I decided to end this on a bit of a cliffhanger. Heh, don't want to reveal too much in just the first chapter after all.
Also, I am using Master Roshi in order to flush out my own theories concerning Danny's Phantom-form. They are different from other theories, and also to dive more deeply into the abilities Danny possesses that will be of help in the future to certain girls, namely Katie Kaboom and Vicky Aidith. Just so you know, my theories concerning Danny will NOT be used in certain fanbase theories that sad to say try to link the character to certain things which I really do not agree with at all.
And if certain fanbases dislike how I portrayed Samantha here… well, tough. I do not hate her, but I just cannot see her and Danny becoming a couple like in cannon. She will get together with some other boy, but not Danny.
Also, I took a cue from the anime series and decided to add summary introductions like in the original Dragonball & Dragonball Z series. Hope you like them! Also, been seeing clips of the original series and I can see that much time, dedication, love, effort, hard work and creativity were put into the characters, the techniques and the plot. I believe I am more versed for the old school rather than how the modern, current series has become.
And just in case, here are the ones that will be training with Master Roshi, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and Krillin the martial arts area- Danny Fenton, Kimberly Ann Possible, Makoto Kino, Cree Lincoln, Gwen Tennyson, Wendy Corduroy, April O'Neal, Kitty Pryde, Katie Kaboom, Penny Proud, Barbara Gordon, Alexandra Casoy, Violet Parr and Starfire Etsuko.
And here will be Yume Tenshi students in magic- Gwen Tennyson, Sabrina Spellman, Musa Liqin, Cleo Sertori and Diana Lombard. Inukami will help out, and also the other ladies in the story will discover new abilities and skills that WILL be useful for the group! And also give some time to Danny so that each of them will get to know him better and to give them a decent chance with him. I want to make sure that ALL of the thirty ladies will have a chance to get to know the young lad, to make sure all of them have a decent, real chance to be with him.
But remember at the end… all up to him! What certain ladies will discover in how they can be of help & also to grow will remain a secret. Heh, can't give everything away and there is still much planning and such to do.
