It was a nice and peaceful day in Royal Woods. Some may say even too peaceful. In fact, in contrast to any other day, the Loud's residence was unusually calm, with no shouts, no screams, and not even the sound of a fight coming from it.
The only sound that could be heard was a cell phone ringing.
"Hello?" Albert asked as he picked up the phone. "Ah Lynn, it's you, how's Rita? Good good, and the young boy, is he fine? Ok, it's nice to hear there weren't any complications. No, everything is fine here, the girls are upstairs playing. You're gonna be here in a few hours alright, see you later then," Albert said before he hung up.
Unbeknownst to Albert, someone had been listening to his phone call. In fact, from the top of the stairs, the oldest siblings of the Loud family, Lori had been spying on her grandpa and, after the phone call ended, she returned to her room to tell her sisters what she heard.
"So, what did you hear?" Luna asked as she and her three sisters, Leni, Luan, and Lynn were unable to contain their enthusiasm and curiosity anymore.
"Mom and Dad will be here in a few hours," Lori said, causing her 4 sisters to scream out of happiness, which spurred Lori to quickly intervene as she tried to calm down her four younger sisters.
"I can't wait to meet our new baby brother," Leni said, overjoyed.
"I'LL HAVE A NEW PLAYING PARTNER!" Lynn cheerfully screamed.
"What, no, he is gonna be my comedian assistant," Luan corrected her younger sister.
"PLAYING PARTNER,"
"ASSISTANT,"
The two girls started to argue with each other as they exchanged glares.
"Girls, girls, please, calm down. We have a much more urgent matter to discuss," Lori said as she tried to get her sisters' attention. "Now, most of us were already older sisters, but now we are gonna have a baby brother. Now, I don't know how it'll be, but I expect that every one of you will do her best to be the best sister possible for our new sibling," Lori said.
Hearing their older sister's words, the 4 younger sisters simply nodded their heads to reassure that they would do everything they could.
"I'm gonna cheer him up when he will be sad," Leni said.
"I'm gonna sing him a lullaby when he can't sleep," Luna added.
"I'm gonna tell him jokes to make him laugh," Leni said.
"I'll beat the bullies and anyone who will hurt him," Lynn said as she gave a tiny growl.
"We are gonna be the best sisters in the world, and we aren't gonna let anything bad happen to him," Lori said excitedly, soon followed by cheerful shouts from her younger sisters.
For the five Louds sisters, the future looked bright, and they were gonna be the best sisters in the world. And nothing was gonna change that.
11 years later
It was around three in the morning, and the oldest daughter of the Loud family was lying on the bed, unable to fall asleep. No matter how hard she tried, every time she closed her eyes, the only thing she saw was the image of her battered brother standing in front of her.
Hoping to gain some relief, Lori exited her room, making sure not to wake up her sister, and headed towards the kitchen to drink a glass of water.
As she walked across the corridor, she heard a strange thump noise echoing in the hallway; the girl stood still as she tried to understand where the sound was coming from until she realized it was coming from Lynn and Lucy's room.
Lori was a bit confused, so she decided to investigate. She opened the door, peeped inside the room, and noticed her little sister Lucy sitting on the bed, throwing one of Lynn's tennis balls on the wall in front of her bed.
"Lucy, is everything alright?" Lori asked in a worried way as she entered the room, closing the door behind her slowly.
The little goth didn't answer and simply sighed before she stopped throwing the tennis ball.
Understanding that something was off, Lori walked towards the bed and sat beside her younger siblings.
"Lucy, is everything fine?" Lori asked, still trying to help her sister.
"I had a nightmare," Lucy said.
Understanding her sister's problem, Lori hugged her little sibling as she tried to comfort her.
"Do you want to tell me what it was about?" Lori asked hoping that, if she knew what happened, she would have been able to understand the problem and help her younger sister.
"I was at the hospital, Lynn and Lincoln were on a hospital bed in front of me. At first, they were fine, and we were having fun but, as I blinked, they fell unconscious to their beds, and their heartbeat stopped," Lucy said in a weak tone of voice "I-I tried to call for help b.b-but no one came, and I I couldn't do anything to help them," The girl added stammering out of sadness before bursting into tears.
Seeing how much pain her little sibling was feeling, Lori hugged her even tighter and started to reassure her.
"shh shh it was just a bad dream," Lori reassured as she dried Lucy's tears. "Lynn and Lincoln are fine OK? And they are literally not gonna die. Remember, everything is gonna turn out fine in the end" said calmly, in a way a mother would talk to her child to calm them while trying to cherish her.
Hearing Lori's words, Lucy nodded her head as she leaned her head across her bigger sister's chest.
"Just for curiosity, why were throwing the tennis ball at the wall," Lori asked
"Well, usually before going to bed, Lynn does some throwing exercise, and I got used to sleeping with it but, since she's at the hospital, I tried to do it myself," Lucy explained.
"Would it help you sleep if I slept with you just for tonight?" Lori asked.
"Yes, please," Lucy admitted as she made space for her older sister.
Hearing her sister's approval, Lori got under the blanket and hugged her little sister while planting kisses on her forehead to try and reassure her.
Morning finally arrived and, as the sun rays entered the window, Lori started to wake up, she stretched her arms, and turned to her right, and noticed her little siblings still sleeping beside her. She looked so calm in contrast to a few hours before.
Lori got out of Lucy's bed, trying not to wake up the little goth, and tucked in the blankets over the young girl before leaving the room and returning to hers.
Once inside her room, where she found Leni still sleeping, not wanting to wake up her roommates, Lori quietly took her phone before leaving the room and went to the bathroom. Then she went downstairs and started to have breakfast.
As she was eating her cereal, she started to check her notifications and messages until she found one from her mother which informed her that, thankfully, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were fine and luckily, didn't have any broken bones, and they would leave the hospital that evening.
Lori was happy that her brother was fine, but she couldn't stop thinking that Lincoln was hiding something from his family and wasn't telling the truth when he said he got mugged. She didn't know why it was like a sixth sense telling her.
As Lori was lost in her thoughts, her sisters joined her, and soon all of the siblings were sitting at the table.
"Did you get any news from Mom and Dad?" Luna asked Lori, who soon got all her sisters' eyes on her.
"Mom sent me a message last night, she said Lincoln and Ronnie Anne are fine and they will be at home by this evening."
"Do you think he will be fine?" Luan asked, worried for her brother.
"I think it's better if we have a sister meeting," Lori said in a serious and commanding tone, which scared her sisters a bit.
After all the sisters finished their breakfast, the siblings went to Lori and Leni's room to discuss their brother's situation.
"Okay, now since we are all here, I think it's time we talk about the incident."
"What do you mean?" Lola asked, a bit confused.
"I mean, it's been nearly a month since Lynn got shot, and Lincoln hasn't told us anything of what happened, and I fear he has been bottling up all his feelings. And I think this might make him to some mistakes that will only worsen the situation,"
"Mistakes? Can you be more specific?" Lana asked.
"I think that Ronnie Anne didn't tell us all the truth yesterday and maybe, just maybe, Lincoln might have wanted to pick up a fight."
"Lincoln?! Picking up fights with criminals? He is the nicest kid in the world. Why would he do something like that?" Leni asked, perplexed and in disbelief by Lori's statement.
"I don't know, maybe he saw them trying to rob someone, and, remembering what happened to Lynn, he tried to intervene."
This theory scared the Loud sisters, who didn't want their brother to put himself in danger.
"But what can we do? Every time we try to speak to him, he just says that he's fine, and moves to another subject. We can't help if we don't know what is happening!" Luan pointed out.
"Then we have no choice but to spy on him," Lola said.
"NO!" The other sisters shouted.
"This type of behavior is the reason Lincoln doesn't want to share his feelings," Lori stated
"Then what should we do?" Luna asked in a panic because she didn't know what to do other than that.
Lori stood quiet for a moment, trying to come up with a plan.
"Lincoln doesn't want to share how he feels because he doesn't trust us, so we need to make him understand that he can trust us. We will need to be more supportive and helpful so he will open up by himself and tell us how he feels," Lori stated.
The sisters looked at each other, a bit unsure if this strategy could prove useful, but not having a better plan at the moment, they decided to go with that plan.
Lori was a bit surprised by this unanimous agreement, she had a strange feeling something was off. Usually, she would receive criticism from sisters like Lola or Lisa… LISA! Only now the firstborn of the Loud house noticed that the little genius was way too quiet, not once had she uttered a single word like she was trying to hide something.
"Lisa, you are quiet, is everything fine?" Lori asked with a smirk on her face knowing that she had hit a nerve asking that.
The child prodigy tried to maintain calm as all the siblings in the room focused their attention on the young girl. Her heartbeat started to accelerate, and sweat started to drip down her face.
"I'm positively fine, thank you for your concern," the girl answered, trying to divert all the attention from her and get out of the situation.
"Hey, now that I think about it, you and Lincoln have been talking to each other a lot in the past weeks," Luan pointed out.
'Oh no,' Lisa thought.
"Dude you are right," Luna said "Lisa and Lincoln have been always talking to each other, and Lincoln is always spending time in your bunker."
'Oh no, oh no, oh no'
"And Lisa was suspiciously worried for Lincoln last night like she knew something bad was gonna happen," Lucy stated.
'No no no no no no no no'
Lisa started to panic as not only her older sisters started to demolish her alibi, but were also starting to form a circle around her preventing her from escaping.
"WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?"Lola shouted angrily as she approached her younger sister and grabbed her by the turtleneck.
"Ok, ok I'll talk," Lisa confessed, not being able to sustain the pressure any longer.
"Okay, little genius, tell us what was going on between you and Lincoln," Lori said, as she demanded an answer as quickly as possible.
The little girl's mind was running wild, she couldn't just simply reveal to her sisters that she, Lincoln, and Ronnie Anne were the vigilantes of Royal Woods, and she couldn't run away or remain quiet as this would have just postponed the problem instead of solving it so, she had to come up with a credible excuse.
"I and Lincoln have been having…therapy sessions," Lisa stated with the best poker face she could make as she tried to hide the sweat that was falling from her forehead, hoping that this would satisfy her sisters.
"WHAT?" the 7 sisters shouted in unison.
"The night we were told that our sibling Lynn was in a coma, Lincoln came to my room and told me he had trouble sleeping because of nightmares. So, I decided to bring him to my lab and, since then, we had daily sessions, and our brother has started to slowly open up to me," Lisa said as she hoped this excuse had convinced her siblings.
The other Loud siblings looked at each other for a moment, trying to understand if they could trust the 4-year-old's words.
"Ok, but if you and Lincoln had these sessions every day, why didn't you tell us about them? We could have helped you!" Leni asked, confused.
"Well, I thought that it would have been better if I didn't tell you anything to prevent any interference that might have caused Lincoln to stop trusting me, thus making me lose all of my progress," Lisa explained.
The siblings all turned to face Lori and Lisa waited for her to speak to understand if her cover was safe or not.
"Ok, I understand why you did this," Lori said "You can keep going on with these sessions, but you will have to inform us if something is wrong so we can deal with the problem together, HAVE YOU UNDERSTOOD?"Lori said.
Hearing the oldest sister's words, Lisa simply nodded her head, and gave a big sigh, thankful that she was able to not blow up her cover.
"Well, since now we know of you and Lincoln's therapy session. Can't you at least tell us what we should do to help Lincoln?" Luan asked
"Well, our brother is dealing with the remorse of not being able to protect Lynn, and he thinks it is his fault our sister is in a coma,"
"WHAT! WHY WOULD HE THINK THAT," Leni shouted, not believing the 4-year-old words.
"It's a collateral effect of surviving a traumatic event," Lisa explained "What you should do is, whenever you are with Lincoln, try to make him understand that he has nothing to feel sorry for, to comfort him and to distract him and to make him feel him in a safe space, this will help his opening to you. However, you must remember not to make him understand that I told you about this, as it would cause Lincoln to stop trusting me, and try to not overcrowd him much because it could be possible that he would start a panic attack or make him violent towards you for the stress, unfortunately, he is still traumatized,"
The other sisters nodded in agreement.
"All right girls, from now on, we will keep an eye on Lincoln, and we will make sure he will be fine, who is with me?" Lori said as she put her hand in front of her, and soon all the other sisters joined her as they positioned their hands on top of hers before throwing them in the air.
After this, the sisters left the room and Lori was feeling much better, confident that her sisters and she were gonna deal with this situation and they were gonna make their brother Lincoln feel better.
A few minutes later, the sisters returned to their usual activities and Lori was currently sitting on the sofa watching the TV when she heard the phone behind her ringing.
"Hello?" Lori asked as she picked up the phone.
"L-L-Lori" Clyde uttered as he heard the girl's voice.
"Hugh Clyde it's you, what do you want? Hello? Hello?" Lori asked as she waited for an answer from the kid, but she only heard silence.
"Hello? Lori, are you still there?" a female voice asked.
"Stella? Is that you?" Lori asked, a bit perplexed about why Stella and Clyde were calling her.
"Yes, it's me, sorry if I disturb you, but is Lincoln at home? We have been trying to call him for hours now, but he hasn't answered the phone," Stella asked.
"No, I'm sorry, but Lincoln isn't home, he's at the hospital," Lori answered in a sad tone of voice.
"WHAT!" Stella and Clyde shouted, not believing in Lori's words. "What do you mean he's at the hospital? What happened? Is he fine?" Clyde frantically started asking questions, wanting to know as much as possible about his friend's health condition.
"Clyde, keep calm," Lori said as she tried to calm down the little boy. "Lincoln got mugged by a few crooks as he was returning from the arcade with Ronnie Anne. Now they are fine and will return home maybe tomorrow,"
"Well, that is a relief," The afro-american kid said, grateful that his friend was fine. "Wait, did you say he was with Ronnie Anne?" Clyde asked
"Yes, why?" Lori asked, a bit confused by the boy's question.
"It's nothing, it's just that yesterday, Lincoln and I were playing at the arcades when he suddenly disappeared. He did not explain nor did he give a goodbye, he simply vanished without a trace," Clyde explained.
"Really? Lincoln? Leaving his best friend behind without explanation, that's strange," Lori asked, not believing her little brother could have done something like that.
"And this wasn't the only time, for the past four weeks, Lincoln has always left our meetings earlier and usually without any kind of explanation," Stella added.
This revelation shocked Lori. Why would her brother do something like that?
"Wait, let's think about it for a moment. Was there anything that always happened when Lincoln left?" The girl asked, wanting to find out if there was a pattern in these strange events.
"Well, now that you mentioned it, he was always with Ronnie Anne," Stella pointed out. "Either Lincoln was with her or he had to meet her,"
"Wait, wait, wait, are you telling me that Lincoln ditched you because he had to meet up with Ronnie Anne?" Lori asked, completely shocked by the two kids' words.
"Yeah, I think you can say it this way," Clyde and Stella said in agreement after thinking about it for a few seconds.
"I'VE GOTTA GO," Lori shouted as she hung up the phone, leaving the two kids wondering what could have happened to get this reaction from the teenage girl.
Meanwhile, Lori was overjoyed. She couldn't believe it, was she dreaming? She pinched her harm to check and noticed she wasn't dreaming. She became even happier. She couldn't believe it, her little brother and Bobby's little sister were dating.
But in that moment of happiness, a realization struck her.
"Wait a second, if Lincoln and Ronnie Anne have been dating for a month, that means that, at least one time, Lincoln should have talked to Lisa about it in her therapy sessions! That little.." Lori thought between herself, and in that moment, all her joy turned into rage as she stormed upstairs to confront her younger sibling about this matter.
Lori slammed open the door of the little girl's room who, caught by surprise by this act, dropped a few test tubes to the ground.
"My dear sibling would be you so-" Lisa started to speak before she was interrupted by Lori, who quickly approached her.
"You think you're so smart, don't you? You think you are the smartest one in this house," Lori asked sarcastically, as she pointed her finger to the little girl's face.
"Well, yes I am," Lisa answered.
"Well, you should reconsider it because I have connected the dots, and I know the secrets you are trying to hide from us." Lori euphorically stated as a malicious grin started to appear on her face.
Hearing Lori's words, Lisa's blood froze in her veins. Did her older sister realize that she and Lincoln were the vigilantes that had been fighting crime? Was her excuse not credible enough?
"You did?" Lisa mumbled.
"Mh mh. How could you hide something like that from us?" Lori stated angrily.
"Well, I can explain, it was just because Lincoln didn't want you to know it," Lisa said as she tried to excuse herself in front of her sister.
"Well, you should have told us that Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were dating nevertheless," Lori stated.
"...What?" Lisa asked, not understanding what her sister meant.
"Oh come on Lisa, don't act like you don't know. I discovered that Lincoln and Ronnie Anne have been dating for the past month. And since you were Lincoln's confidant, you had to know that," Lori explained.
Lisa blinked her eyes, still processing what her sister stated. Did her older sibling follow all the little clues and still manage to arrive at the wrong conclusion? That was probably the reason the little girl was the smartest in the house.
Anyway, if her sister thought Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were a couple and not the heroes, Lisa wasn't going to disappoint her.
"Well, our brother still remembers the last time we meddled in his love life," Lisa explained.
"You mean when we got a black eye because we told him to kiss her?" Lori interrupted her younger sister.
"Most precisely," Lisa confirmed. "He confidently informed me of his relationship, but only If I swore not to tell you a word of it. And you must promise me to do the same, otherwise, Lincoln will stop trusting me,"
"You have my word," Lori swore with a hand on her heart before leaving the room with a big smile on her face.
As the oldest was walking to her room, she received a message from her boyfriend Bobby, who told her he was going to the hospital and asked her if she wanted a lift to go with him.
Nearly 20 minutes later, Lori and Bobby were driving toward the hospital to visit their younger siblings.
"Thank you for the ride Bobby boo boo bear," Lori said lovingly, as she pinched her boyfriend's cheek.
"It's nothing, babe," Bobby answered. "I still can't explain to myself how this could have happened,"
"Probably they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time," Lori remarked in a sad tone.
Seeing that she and Bobby were alone, she caught the opportunity to ask him if he knew anything about Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's relationship.
"Bobby, just out of curiosity, did Ronnie Anne start to disappear without an explanation?"
"I'm not sure, usually she doesn't talk to us too much, and I'm not at home for most of the day. Why do you ask?" Bobby asked
"Nothing, just curiosity," Lori said.
After a few minutes of driving, the couple arrived at the hospital and went to the room indicated by the nurse, where they found Lincoln and Ronnie Anne sitting on the hospital bed and playing uno on a table they had positioned in the middle of their beds.
They seemed overall fine, although the beating they received. Most of Lincoln's injuries were covered by his clothes, while Ronnie Anne, who received a hard blow on the head, had her head covered by bandages.
"Hey guys," the two kids simultaneously greeted their older siblings, who immediately went to the kids and hugged them.
"Nie Nie, what are you doing? You are supposed to be resting," Bobby said as he was still a bit worried for her younger sibling.
"Oh come on Bobby. Relax, it's not that bad, I just hit my head." Ronnie Anne remarked trying to reassure her older brother with a smile.
"You still need to rest, and be thankful that mom isn't your doctor," Bobby stated, and soon the two Latino siblings started arguing with each other.
On the other hand, the two Loud siblings were talking among each other rather peacefully for their standard.
"Hey, where are Mom and Dad?" Lori asked, a bit surprised at not having seen her parents yet.
"They went to the hospital kitchen to get something for us to eat," Lincoln explained calmly.
"How are you feeling, Lincoln?" Lori asked, now less concerned knowing her brother was ok.
"Still aching, but all in all, I'm fine," Lincoln remarked smiling, trying to reassure her sister.
"Ok just remember if you need any help..." Lori said remembering her sister's word
"I can come and ask you," said Lincon with a big smile
Hearing her brother's words, Lori simply hugged him, started to pat his head, and whispered in his ear.
"You're the best brother in the world, so try not to do anything stupid,"
Lincoln didn't expect to hear her sister say something like that, but he appreciated it and simply replied by hugging her back as he was smiling.
After a few minutes, Lincoln and Lori's parents entered the room with the two kid's meal.
"Hi, Mum and Dad" "Good morning, Mr and Mrs Loud," the four kids greeted the 2 adults.
"Hi, kids," Lynn Sr and Rita greeted the four kids as they put the meals on the table and the two kids immediately started to eat.
"It's good to see you, Bobby," Rita said to Bobby.
"Ah, it's nothing, Mrs. Loud, I just passed to check on my little sister and Lincoln," Bobby said.
"Anyway, it's good to see you,"
"Lori, rapid question, are your sisters okay?" her father asked Lori, wanting to make sure his daughters were fine.
"Don't worry Dad, I left Luna in charge, and she assured me that she had everything under control," Lori reassured her father.
"Just a quick question: when will Lincoln be able to return home?" Lori asked her dad.
"According to the doctors, Lincoln's injuries aren't too serious. We are waiting for the doctor's permission, but he could return home tomorrow," Rita said to her daughters.
"And what about Lynn?" Lori asked, wanting to know more about the sport-loving sister.
"We have talked to the doctors, and she is fine, most of her wounds are healing, unfortunately, she doesn't show any signs of waking, and the doctors don't know when she will wake up," Rita said, saddening the mood a bit.
The time started to pass, and Lori and Bobby spent the afternoon hanging with their younger siblings until the doctor informed them that the visiting hour was over and they had to leave the hospital.
As they were leaving the room, Lori and Bobby gave each other a goodbye kiss which caused the two 10-year-olds to give a disgusted expression at the same time and soon laugh when they noticed they had the same reaction.
A while later, Lori returned home, while her parents stayed at the hospital with their son. Once she arrived home, she found her sisters waiting for her to tell them how Lincoln was, and all of them were happy that their brother was gonna return home the next day. The rest of the day was relatively normal, and quickly it was already night.
The next morning, the 9 sisters woke up early, eager to see their brother as soon as possible, yet they had to wait until noon, when Lori received a call from her father, informing her they had permission to return home.
Once Lori arrived at the hospital, she saw Bobby's car already there and Lincoln and Ronnie Anne joking with each other at the hospital's entrance. The two kids' fun was interrupted by the Louds' parents, who suggested that everyone return to their respective homes.
"Well, I guess it's a goodbye, smell you later, Lincoln," The Latina girl said as she followed Bobby to his car.
"Not if I smell you first," The white-haired boy replied jokingly as he went to the Vanzilla.
Once Lincoln entered the vehicle, Lynn Sr stepped on the gas and started heading home and, after a while, the four members of the Loud family arrived at their residence.
As soon as Lincoln entered the house, he was jumped on by his 8 sisters who had been informed by Lori of his arrival and had been waiting for him in the living room.
"Ouch, ouch, girls, I'm happy to see you too, but I need to breathe," Lincoln said, happy to be hugged by sisters, but he would have been happier if he hadn't had so much pain in his chest.
"Sorry," his sisters excused themself as they let their brother go,
"Alright girls," Lynn Sr started speaking. "We are all happy that Lincoln is fine, but he still needs time to recover,"
Hearing their father's words, the sister nodded their heads in agreement,
"Now sweetie remember, if you need anything, come and ask me and your father," Rita said
"Yes mum, I'll keep that in mind. But right now, I think I'll just go to my bedroom to sleep," Lincoln said.
"Alright, sweety," Lincoln's mother said as she tenderly rubbed her son's head before he walked upstairs.
A few seconds after Lincoln walked into his room, the other family members started to leave the room until there were only the twins and Lori. The last one was perhaps the happiest among the siblings, not only because her brother was fine, but because he was dating Bobby's little sister. Unfortunately for her, her sisters also noticed her unusual happiness.
"Why are you so happy?" Lola asked.
"Me? I'm just happy Lincoln is here," Lori stated before she left the living room before her sisters could ask her any more questions, which caused Lola to become suspicious.
"What's wrong, Lola?" Lana asked as she realized her twin was thinking something.
"I think Lori is hiding something from us," Lola said.
"Eh, it's probably nothing important, maybe. she and Bobby are planning to go on a date," Lana replied.
"But what if it's something involving Lincoln? Shouldn't we be informed too so we can help him," Lola pointed out.
Lana stood quiet for a few seconds, thinking about what her twin said and, after thinking for a few seconds, she realized that she was making a point.
"Ok, that's fair. But then what should we do?" Lana asked.
"We're gonna spy Lori," Lola said, as she rubbed her hands with a mischievous smile on her face.
"NO!" Lana shouted from the top of her lungs, causing her twin to put a hand on her mouth and shush her. "Don't you remember what Lisa told us? If Lincoln finds out we have been spying on him, he will stop trusting Lisa, and we won't be able to help him anymore,"
"I know, but we won't be spying on Lincoln, we will follow Lori and Lisa didn't say anything about spying on her," Lola specified.
The mud-loving girl thought about it for a few seconds and since her twin made a valid point she wanted to help Lincoln.
"You got a point," she said and so decided to go along with her twin sister.
"Let's help our brother," Lola Joyfully stated.
"Can I join you," Lucy said as she appeared from the couch, causing the twins to jump in the air.
"Lucy, what were you doing behind the sofa," Lola asked as she was still recovering from the fear they received.
"I was writing one of my poems, and then I heard about your plan to follow Lori to try and help Lincoln, and I was wondering if I could join your plan," She, too, was eager to help her brother.
The twins looked at each other, a bit perplexed by her goth sister's request, but then decided to let her join their plan as she could always help them.
Meanwhile, as the three younger siblings of the Loud house were preparing their plan, somewhere else, someone else was plotting something in the shadows.
"Would you be so kind as to explain to me what the hell you did yesterday?" The man asked the Red Devil about the chaos he had the evening before at the bank as he tried to keep his calm.
"Hey, I did what you told me to do. You asked me to take care of those heroes and that's what I was trying to do," Red Devil explained.
"Then why is there no news about their deaths?" His boss asked, clearly irritated.
"Let's just say that those idiots I work with nearly got themself captured. And if the police arrested them, they might have known where our base is, and the entire operation might have collapsed. So, preventing their capture was my top priority." The villain explained.
His boss took a deep breath and tried to stay as calm as possible.
"Look, this is all past, and we cannot change it but, from now on, you need to keep a low profile, let the small crooks do the dirty work and try not to ruffle any more feathers," His boss ordered him.
"May I ask you the reason behind such a turn of events?" Red Devil asked, not quite sure what his boss had in mind.
"Let's just say I think it's time for me to take matters into my own hands," the boss stated.
