5-Volt was getting things ready the day before Thanksgiving. Ashley was alone while the boys played video games.
Melony coughed, waking up.
"What happened?" She asked.
"You went a bit power hungry, is this because people teased you?' Melissa asked.
"Of course it is." she says. "I was about to beat the queen and become queen but she burnt my feet and I lost." she says.
"Look, it's clear you have zero social skills. We need to teach you before Thanksgiving." Savannah says.
"If I make it to Halloween, I want a daredevil costume." She says
"Why him?" Bill asked.
"He's my hero and you're right. I'm in over my head, so until the show returns, I'm going to try and learn how to be humble again for Garrett's sake." Melony says. "So I wanna test myself by going to that manor so I can show him I can be humble." Melony says.
"Don't ruin their Thanksgiving." Melissa says.
The next day 5-Volt was cooking for the potluck as Wario gave everyone the day off. He was even going to be there since Mario was in Brooklyn.
Luke got ready as Shane was looking at all the floats. He wondered which one he would be on.
He sees the one he was going to be on, which was the Entenmann's Everyone's Favorite Bake Shop float. He was excited about this.
Penny was going to watch it on TV. She was excited for Him
"Should I invite the cups?" Mona asked.
"If you do, seat them separately. They haven't exactly made up." 5-Volt says.
Kat and Ana arrived. "We're here!" They say.
"The Macy's parade is starting in 5 minutes!" Penny says.
Everyone got ready to watch.
With Garrett, he was sitting in the stands with the family as they made the trip to New York to watch Shane perform in the parade.
Luke gets annoyed by this and moves to sit far away from them. Shane sees this and gets annoyed himself.
"Why can't you just be happy for me?! You just want to ruin this for me, don't you?!" Shane says as tears form in his eyes.
"I can't stand my annoying siblings, also Kat and Ana left." Luke says.
Charity takes out her belt and looks at Luke. "You know they had plans and this jealousy is going to cease or you will spend Thanksgiving in your room instead of joining Shane when he joins Penny for dinner." She says.
"Fine!" Luke says, sitting back down.
The Turtles watch from the sewers.
"This is it, April's big break!" Donnie says.
"Either she'll succeed or she'll fail" Raphael says as April was getting nervous.
"Okay, I'm April O'Neil on Channel 6." she says about to do a report, and goes to interview Shane, who was getting on his float.
"Hello, Miss O'Neil." Shane says.
"Hello, Shane. How are you feeling?" April asked.
"I'm feeling great! I'd feel even greater if Luke would just learn to be happy for me!" Shane shouted.
"Family drama." Mikey says.
"Yeah, that's Luke for ya." Raphael says.
Luke didn't like being called out like that, but sucked it up for Charity's sake.
Soon, it began. Marching bands, floats, and giant character balloons were on full display as the parade progressed.
The Warioware crew was watching on TV. 9-Volt was enamored by the balloons.
"I like the balloons…" he says.
"When is Shane appearing?!" Penny says, practically bouncing on the couch.
"Penny, patience. If you wish to get better, you really need to calm down." Dr. Crygor says.
"Yeah, you gotta try and enjoy the whole thing." Mona says, secretly wishing Mugman was in it.
Soon, Shane's float appears.
"So pretty!" Mona says. "A colorful bakery!"
"Is he gonna sing?!" Penny asked.
"Of course he will." Ashley sighed.
Shane smiled at the parade crowd and began to perform his new song "Do What You Want". Fans loved it as girls screamed.
Soon, Shane finished as everyone loved him even more. He soon got off his float as the siblings cheered.
Luke had teleported to the potluck not wanting to be around his family.
5-Volt made a lot of food. "The food is ready!" 5-Volt says.
Lucy was with Ashley. Kat and Ana squeal, both feeling hungry.
"Thanks, Mrs. 5-Volt." They say.
"You're welcome." she says.
Luke and Shane smiled at the spread.
With Garrett, the dinner was mostly centered around him, but everyone still got to have turkey and everything . Melony hadn't said much; she was trying to be humble.
"So, how does it feel to finally be out of that wheelchair?" Garrett's friend, Roland, asked him.
"Great!" Garrett says. "You should have seen the look on the cheer coach's face when I walked into the gym the week after the show. You would have sworn that I was like a god of some sort."
"Well, they always did think of you like that. We could stay here." he says.
"Don't you like New York?" Garrett asked.
"We wanna be with you more or you could move in with us." Kylie says.
"Hard pass. I have to be here for cheer and stuff." Garrett says. "I'm joining the school basketball team next season, so I may not do cheerleading next school year. And I'm running for junior class president after Thanksgiving break."
Meanwhile, Emma was eating as she missed her step-siblings.
"They have family to see for the holidays, honey. Your stepfather had been planning that trip for some time, and your step-siblings don't see their aunt and uncle as often as they should, so he took them to have Thanksgiving with them. Then they'll spend Christmas with them." Skylia says. "And we have to respect that."
"We should see our cousins for Christmas." Randy says.
Meanwhile, Kat and Ana play some games with Lulu. Luke looked lonely as Rachel could not make it due to her visiting her aunt and uncle for Thanksgiving.
Shane and Penny were sleeping on the couch, both in "food comas". Ashley was just with Lucy. Mona and Young Cricket play a board game.
Wario was chatting with Waluigi.
Meanwhile…
"Thank you for having me." Melony says.
"Of course, sweetie." Charity says. "Thank you for coming."
"It was nice to see you." Garrett says.
"Yeah, nice to…well…um, be here, too. " Melony says as she and Melissa leave.
"What a night…" Lincoln says.
"Tomorrow, the Christmas shopping season begins." Sharon says.
"It sure does." Lance says.
The next day, everyone slept in for a bit, then decided to head to the mall to spend a few hours out of the house. Luke and Shane came along.
Even though it was the day after Thanksgiving, the mall wasn't as packed as everyone would have thought it would be. But that didn't bother the Huntington family. They were here to window shop and drop hints for their most wanted Christmas gifts. And maybe do some shopping for themselves, too.
At Reininger's, Leni was working as the department store was packed with people buying stuff that varied from clothes to kitchen appliances to even jewelry. Shane had entered the department store with the "Santa Wanted" sign that was posted on the department store's front entrance.
"Who do I see about this?" He asked.
"How soon can you start?" Ms. Carmichael asks him.
"Tomorrow." Shane says.
"See you then." Ms. Carmichael says.
That night Leni noticed some robbers as she rushed after them and sees Card Shark as she turned into 11 of Hearts.
"Okay, Card Shark, not today" she says as he shoots water at her, but she dodges. She wrapped him around with her scarves, but he grabbed her and tossed her aside.
"I'm out of shape." Leni whined as she hadn't done any hero work in a while and called her siblings for help.
Lucy arrived and kicked Card Shark and helped Leni up. Card Shark shot a bunch of water sharks as they dodged.
"How long till the others get here?" Leni asked
"Not too sure." Lucy says and teleports to get them as Card Shark tries punching Leni, who holds him back as he uppercuts her.
Lana leaped from the skies and punched Card Shark and shot mud, but he shot water back at her and punched her into the store.
"Be careful!" Leni says. "Where are those cosmic buddies?"
The Cosmic buddies were actually helping Angry Luigi rehearse for a winter play, not in a rush to go on any adventures.
Night Club arrived with Shane.
"Heh." Luna says as she gets her axe and starts charging up for an electric shockwave. "Wanna team up music hero to music hero?" Luna asked.
"Sure…but what was my persona again?" Shane says.
"I think you changed it to Silver Symphony Warrior." Night Club says as Lucy was dodging Card Shark's attacks.
"Move!" Shane says as Lola punched Card Shark and leaped away.
Luna and Shane shot a double electric music attack, sending him flying.
Penny was watching this on the news. She smiled at Shane.
Card Shark growled and summoned water sharks.
"Okay, 8 Of Spades!" Luna says as Lucy uses a spell to freeze them. Luke leaped in and knocked him out with a punch. People took pictures.
Shane thinks he isn't needed anymore. But he then sees an opening.
"Time To Rock That Ocean Drive!" Shane shouts out as he holds up some ocean drums, and plays them, sending powerful shockwaves.
Card Counter arrived. "Okay, I'm here." she says, but the shockwaves hit everyone, even his family as Lisa was sent flying into the mall.
"We will meet again!" Card Shark says, running away.
"Should we let him get away?" 11 of Hearts asked.
"Hell no, he chipped my nail!" Lola says and ran after him, but he went into the sewers as she gave up.
Charity used her magic to repair the damage to Reininger's and the mall itself, like the damage was never there to start with.
Lisa groaned, getting up. She had a few scars, but was fine.
Shane sighed and flew off. He knew he hurt his family and he wasn't much of a hero. Shane then begins to cry. Penny finds him.
"I'm not a hero!" Shane cried.
"Yes, you are. No hero is perfect." Penny says.
"And you're gonna hate me for getting a job, aren't you?" Shane sniffed.
"No." Penny says. "What job is it?"
"I'm Santa for the department store." Shane says.
"That's great!" Penny says. "Kids will love you!"
"Really? You think so?" Shane asked.
"Yeah! I know so!" Penny says.
"Tomorrow is my first day on the job. I admit that I'm a bit nervous…" Shane says.
"You'll do great!" Penny says as she kisses him.
