Meanwhile, as Optimus worked hard in his office, he started feeling a bit off, like he really needed his mate. Optimus tried to keep working, but his systems were not going to be ignored. Hide, having seen something like this before, tried to help out. "Prime, you need to take a break" Hide stated, trying to stave off what was coming.
"No, I'm fine. I need to finish this…" Optimus answered a bit tersely, not wanting to leave what he was working on, but Hide wasn't going to let this get out of hand.
"You can work on it in a bit. You need a break and I am not taking no for an answer" Hide replied, making Optimus leave what he was working on and head for home. Hide silently commed Red Tide to make sure Mirage was home. When Red Tide indicated that Mirage was home, Hide was relieved and began guiding Optimus home.
It was a good thing, as Optimus' processor was starting to cloud up with need. Hide could tell when Optimus began to stop resisting so much. Hide knew that this may not be a good sign if Hide couldn't get Optimus to his mate. Hide could only hope Red Tide would help out at the quarters.
Meanwhile, at their quarters, Mirage was watching over his sparklings with help from Sandblaster and Pogo, who had brought his own sparklings along. Red Tide was outside the room and came in. "Mirage, I bring word that Hide is bringing Optimus home for a break" Red Tiide stated. None of the minibots knew why, but Mirage did.
"Will you please take my precious sparklings elsewhere. Only I can care for our Prime" Mirage stated, covering that he knew Optimus needed intimacy but still taking care of things. The minibots agreed and soon, all the sparklings were elsewhere and only Red Tide stood at the door, waiting for Hide and Optimus to arrive at the quarters. Mirage could only hope that this time, it was caught in time, as last time in the med bay, it had almost been too late.
Soon enough, Optimus arrived with Hide. Thankfully, Red Tide didn't realize Optimus was having a condition that Mirage needed to care for. Mirage was waiting and took Optimus inside. Red Tide and Hide stood at the door. Hide hoped he got Optimus to Mirage in time.
