As Bee and Jumper were still thinking about what they had learned and Optimus was back in his office with Hide, Mirage was at his quarters. He had sent his sparklings elsewhere and was just taking time for himself. He had no idea that no one was watching the door. Hide was with Optimus, Bee and Jumper were busy, Pogo and Charger were busy and Sandblaster was elsewhere, having forgotten it was her turn to replace Red Tide, who had left to seek out his replacement, as he was running low on energon and had left. Mirage was left completely alone and vulnerable.
A bot who was an Autobot but not only wanted to bring back the old system and had wanted Mirage for himself so that the sparklings would be royalty soon arrived at the door. He was genuinely surprised that no one was guarding the door but didn't let his guard down, as Mirage could be hiding the bot for a reason. But when this rogue bot made it to the door, he realized that if Mirage was inside, Mirage was vulnerable. Now was the perfect time to strike, or so the rogue bot thought.
Quickly and quietly, the rogue bot snuck into the special quarters. By this time, Mirage was napping in bed with his audios turned off. The rogue bot noticed, snuck in and stole Mirage, who was out cold. The rogue bot soon left with his captive, unaware he had triggered a silent alarm Bee's friend had recently set up. It alerted Bee that something was wrong. And so as Mirage was dragged off, Bee heard the alarming grew concerned. Bee wanted to run and check on things, but bee was stopped by his mate.
"Bee, I will go. You must stay, in case this is not a false alarm like before" Jumper stated. "If it is a true alarm, I will comm Optimus then you." Bee nodded and let his mate go. He could only hope that this was a false alarm, because if not, Bee knew that there would be hell to pay.
Meanwhile, in the office, Optimus got a bad feeling. He wasn't sure why but he did. Hide noticed. "Is something wrong, Prime?" Hide asked.
"I.. I don't know, but something feels… off" Optimus replied, trying to pinpoint where this bad feeling was coming from. Hide nodded, but worried. What was going on?
