Getting Quincy with Someone's Arrow
Yoh is seen walking in the hallway of his middle school considered he still has to go to school like other kids, but he doesn't mind because he can be cool with other things aside from Soul Reaper business and that spiritual stuff.
"I wonder how Ichigo and Rukia are doing right now?" Yoh wondered as it has been only two days since that he had with them.
(Two Days Ago)
Rukia continues glaring at Yoh still being this boy to be suspicious as this is making him feel a bit nervous that he may have a hard time winning this girl's trust.
"I know you think I could be dangerous with my sudden knowledge of Soul Reapers and such, but I promise as a friend that I am no danger to you." Yoh smiled.
"Yeah, I'm finding that hard to believe." Rukia crossed her arms.
"I say we trust him." Ichigo said making Rukia feel shocked.
"He saved my life from Grand Fisher, and I can already tell that Yoh is someone we can trust and relay on as a good friend and ally." Ichigo walked up to Yoh with a smile.
"I also wanted to thank for saving me back there, so thanks." Ichigo thanked Yoh at long last which makes him feel relief like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders.
"No problem, happy to help." Yoh smiled.
Rukia just looks on feeling surprised that Ichigo can just trust this kid so suddenly even though he still knows nothing more about him, but at the same time she can also sense that Yoh doesn't have any ill or dark feelings in him to make her worry.
"Alright, guess I can trust you too." Rukia sighed in defeat.
"Great, I promise to explain everything after we help Ichigo with his Zanpakutō." Yoh pointed at Ichigo.
"Now back to my question, what is a Zanpakutō exactly?" Ichigo asked.
"Basically, your sword is what we Soul Reaper call our Zanpakutō which all get throughout the training of becoming a Soul Reaper, most of them are katanas but some can be in different forms depending on the wielder like yours." Rukia pointed at his big Zanpakutō.
"Really, now I'm getting the feeling there's something more about them." Ichigo commented as he looks at his sword.
"That's right, you see, Zanpakutō actually have the power to transform known as Shikai. In order to activate its Shikai form, you must first learn the name of your Zanpakuto." Rukia revealed pointing at Ichigo.
"Learn that name? You mean the sword has a name of its own?" Ichigo asked feeling a bit confuse.
"Each Zanpakutō have their own name, but it's not easy to learn for you need to communicate with your Zanpakutō because they have their own individual spirit within you must make contact and be in sync with it in order to learn the name." Yoh explained the next part.
"He is right, it's extremely important that you learn to work with your Zanpakutō to gain more power than you could ever imagine." Rukia nodded.
"Whoa, so getting this Shikai release state can really turn the tide of a battle?" Ichigo surprised.
"That all depends on the Soul Reaper and the special power each of them has, I guess I have been curious of what your Zanpakutō can do." Rukia stroked her chin.
"Then why is it that you haven't trained him yet?" Yoh asked.
"Well, he's only a temporary Soul Reaper until my powers return, but this is taking a slower process than I originally thought." Rukia looked at her hand, then flinch when Yoh grab hers.
"Let me see if I can help you." Yoh said before closing his eyes.
Rukia was about to ask what he is doing but then saw his body glowing and sensing spiritual energy pouring into her for a few seconds, and then the glowing stop.
"What did you just do?" Rukia asked.
"I was trying to see if I could speed up the process by making your spirit energy stronger though I can only increase it up to times two and giving you a bit of my own." Yoh answered.
"I do feel power stronger, like I just regained more of my spiritual energy than expected." Rukia surprised as she looks at her hands feeling her spirit energy.
"But it looks like that's all I can do, sorry." Yoh apologized.
"No, it's fine. I think you've done more than enough to help me." Rukia smiled.
"I kind of did the same with some other people I met. There's Tatsuki, Orihime, and that big guy Chad." Yoh mentioned.
"Wait, what? You have them spiritual energy, but why?" Ichigo asked shock.
"Because I sensed they each have strong spiritual energy thinking they have good potential, so I have them a little jump start." Yoh explained.
"Should we be worried?" Ichigo asked.
"Well, I don't think anything problems like Hollows will be coming to them anytime soon, so I'm sure they'll be okay." Rukia stated.
"Anyway, I guess we can get on with you training to unlock your Zanpakutō's power." Rukia said.
"Okay, so how do I talk to my Zanpakutō?" Ichigo asked.
"You first need to enter into a meditation state and enter your own inner world, that's where you can find your Zanpakutō, but you're gonna need a place to do that." Rukia answered.
"Believe it or not, I actually know a place where he can get some training without any interferences from the outside." Yoh said.
"Of course, you do." Rukia deadpanned.
"I'll have to check with my caretaker to see if we can use it for training, it may take a while to get the permission." Yoh said.
"Guess we'll have to wait then." Ichigo exclaimed a little.
(Present)
"Well, the training room is all set to go, now I just need to get Ichigo and Rukia and we're good to go." Yoh said.
"Hey Yoh, planning on trying to take a nap again?" A very short boy asked walking up to him.
"Oh, hey there, Manta." Yoh greeted his short little friend.
"I just came back from the bathroom and was on my way back to our homeroom." Manta explained.
Manta has short sandy-brown hair and large eyes with tiny black pupils. He wears the middle school uniform that is consists of khaki-green pants, red lace up running shoes, a white school shirt and a navy-blue necktie.
"I was just thinking about the new friends I made before coming to this school." Yoh said.
"Oh, you mean those older kids from Karakura high school, I'm surprised you actually became friends with them after coming here." Manta admitted.
"Well, they just seem like really nice people even though they were weird." Yoh chuckled.
"Sure wish I can meet them." Manta interested into meeting those older kids.
"Don't worry, I'll be sure to introduce them to you later." Yoh said believing those older kids would be friendly with Manta as well.
Yoh noticed a small spiritual energy in a far distance recognizing it to be a Hollow though there is this other spiritual energy he doesn't recognizes, it's mostly human like himself yet different at the same time.
"Hey Yoh, are you okay? You look like something bad happened." Manta asked noticing the slight serious look on Yoh's face.
"Oh, I just remember an important I have to do for my caretakers before going home today." Yoh made that up.
"You told me he runs that candy shop called Urahara Shop, I heard weird rumors about that place and some of them are scary too." Manta recalled hearing those.
"Ah, there's no need to worry about those silly rumors. My caretaker is really cool, and the others are nice too." Yoh assured.
"Well, if you say so." Manta said, trusting Yoh and maybe thinking about going there himself.
"Oh yeah, today should be showing the results of our exam. I hope I did well." Manta prayed.
"You're a smart guy, I know you'll do great. I just hope I did good enough." Yoh said.
"I'm sure you did good, maybe you got into 50th place or 45th place with how skill you are with studying." Manta chuckled.
(Nighttime)
Yoh is seen sitting on the rooftop of the Urahara Shop gazing at the night sky and the stars that are able to be seen, wondering if those stars are also spirits watching over the entire world.
But then Yoh senses that odd power again from before during school and instantly got up on his feet while searching which way it's coming from.
"Yoh, dinner is almost ready!" Ururu informed, but she jumps shock when she saw Yoh jump off the roof and hurry in a direction.
"Wait, Yoh! Where are you going?" Ururu asked, but he didn't listen.
Yoh kept going fast from rooftop to rooftop to find the source of that strange spiritual energy hoping that he doesn't miss it, and soon found himself in a neighboring area where he saw a blue light arrow flying off and killing a Hollow.
One where both Rukia and Ichigo are there, and the one who shot that arrow as well.
"The signal just vanished!" Rukia shocked, now seeing that somehow, he's the one who has been destroying the Hollows that Ichigo couldn't get to in time.
"So, tell me, who or what are you?" Ichigo asked.
The young man who appears to be the same age as Ichigo stands up with his back facing Ichigo and Rukia.
"Uryu Ishida, I'm a Quincy." Uryu revealed his name.
Uryū Ishida is a bespectacled teenager of average height and slender build. He has straight, chin-length black hair framing both sides of his face and is fair-skinned with blue eyes. He wears a white Quincy clothes, with blue stripes representing the Quincy cross, and a mantle.
"Soul Reapers are my enemies." Uryu said turning to look at Ichigo in the eyes.
"Just what do you mean?" Ichigo asked.
"Yeah." Yoh landed a few feet behind Uryu.
"Could you care to explain how you're an enemy to Soul Reapers?" Yoh asked.
"Yoh!" Rukia surprised to see Yoh here, and she suddenly felt her heart just skipped a beat for some reason.
"So, you're this new resident of the town I heard about. The one likes to hang around at the graveyard, I believe your name was Yoh." Uryu recalled a little rumor he heard.
"Didn't think I built myself a reputation so soon, but it's not like I care or anything. Anyway, my name is Yoh Asakura." Yoh introduced.
"Are you friends with these Soul Reapers?" Uryu asked.
"Yeah, they're awesome people to have friends with." Yoh answered honestly with a calm expression.
That made Rukia blush for some reason from those kind words but kept her calm and serious look while Ichigo smile at his new young friend.
"Well, in that case, Yoh Asakura and Ichigo Kurosaki, you two are my enemies." Uryu declared.
Yoh just stares at this guy seeing the serious and dangerous look in his eyes knowing this is the strange spirit energy he was sensing before, and he look dead serious about declaring him and Ichigo as his enemies.
"Well, that's unexpected. Can I at least get a name since you already know ours by now." Yoh asked.
"Very well, I'm Uryū Ishida. A Quincy." Uryu revealed himself before jumping high and vanishing from sight.
"So, you guys confuse about this as I am?" Yoh asked the two.
"Yeah, I don't know what's the deal with this guy, but he certainly got on my nerves." Ichigo angered.
"This is something I need to look into with Kisuke tomorrow." Rukia said.
"Kisuke, you mean Kisuke Urahara?" Yoh asked upon hearing that name.
"Oh cool, he's my caretaker I told you about. I live in his shop." Yoh revealed.
Rukia stare at Yoh for five seconds before suddenly gasping upon this new information about Yoh not only having strong spiritual energy for a human and can fight Hollows, but also know Kisuke Urahara directly making her sweta in fear a little.
"So, this Kisuke guy knows about Soul Reapers too?" Ichigo asked.
"Yeah, he's also a great friend to the Asakura family like a brother or uncle in my case." Yoh nodded.
"So, what are you gonna do about that Uryu guy?" Yoh asked in return.
"To be honest, I'm not really sure. But I am going to give him a piece of my mind when I get the chance." Ichigo clutched his fists.
"Well, you do that." Yoh smiled.
"So Rukia, you want to meet with Kisuke tomorrow at his candy shop?" Yoh asked the young woman.
"Oh, sure. I think this whole Quincy might be more trouble than good." Rukia said.
"Great, we'll meet at the shop tomorrow." Yoh smiled.
(The Next Day)
"I'm off!" Yoh informed as he puts on his sandals.
"Have a great day, kiddo." Kisuke waved goodbue.
"Oh yeah, Rukia is coming over to talk some serious spiritual stuff about what we found last night." Yoh informed the shopkeeper.
"Last night? Was it something interesting?" Kisuke asked.
"I don't know, we found this guy named Uryu Ishida and he called himself a Quincy." Yoh explained which made Kisuke feel surprised.
"A Quincy." Kisuke said softly with a serious expression.
"Anyway, just letting you know she's coming for that info, and I also want to hear about this too." Yoh said before walking off to school.
"(I see, things sure are getting interesting.)" Kisuke thought grinned.
"(I wonder if this Uryu guy goes to the same school as Ichigo? Hopefully they're not in the same class together.)" Yoh thought worried.
(With Ichigo)
Ichigo is currently peaking through a door in the room where the Home Handicrafts club with Orihime who told him about Uryu being in that club much to his shock and see Uryu sitting and reading a book.
"That's him alright, but I can't believe he's really in the Home Handicrafts club." Ichigo surprised.
"Look at him. He's reading, not doing macrame." Ichigo noticed.
"Yeah, you wait. It looks like Michiru's got a job for him." Orihime said as they see Michiru walking up to Uryu showing him a pink stuffy with a tear in the right arm.
"Like he's gonna sew it for her?" Ichigo not convinced of this.
"Just wait and watch." Orihime said.
Uryu look at the stuffy, taking it from Mirchiru and tossing it into the air, all the while he got out his sewing kit and immediately sew the arm back together then gives it back to Mirchiru.
"Hey, it's almost as good as new. Thanks so much, Uryu." Mirchiru thanked smiling and hugging the stuffy.
"It's all right, don't mention it. In fact, don't talk to me anymore at all." Uryu said calm and coldly.
"Uh, I'll see you later then." Mirchiru said before walking away.
"Why would he do something so nice and then say something so unkind?" Orihime asked wondering about this guy.
"Because he's insane, that's why." Ichigo said before walking away, thinking of a way to get some alone time with this guy after school.'
"Ichigo, wait a sec." Orihime said which got him to stop.
"Do you and Uryu have some kind of problem?" Orihime asked.
"Well, you could say that, but it's nothing I can't handle." Ichigo said walking off.
"That's good." Orihima smiled, but then she became sadden because she knew that wasn't the whole story and Ichigo is keeping something from her.
"I wonder if Yoh would know what's going on with Ichigo?" Orihime asked herself as she looks out the window.
(With Yoh)
"A weird light from last night?" Yoh asked from what Manta just told him.
"Yeah, someone said they saw a strange blue light from last night. Some thought it was some kind of new fireworks, but nobody in that neighborhood ever did anything like that." Manta explained.
"Hmm, do you think it might be a ghost?" Yoh asked, but he already knew about that since he was there last night.
"Ghost, you got to be kidding me? I don't think my heart would take it if that was true!" Manta freaked out.
"I don't think that'll be a problem, my family and I were connected to spirits after all." Yoh chuckled.
"Whatever you say." Manta said.
Yoh looks out the window still thinking about Uryu from last night what having some hatred towards Soul Reapers, and he's going to find out the reason with Kisuke after school today.

Yoh and Ichigo have met face-to-face with Uryu Ishida calling himself a Quincy who seems to have a grudge against Soul Reapers, and both boys are about to find out about him more in their own separate ways.
