Two Best Friends Protecting Together
Rukia is running through the streets and looks down at her phone again getting some more alarms about more Hollows suddenly showing up in town.
"What's going o here? All Hell is breaking loose. Damn." Rukia cursed, hoping that Ichigo and Yoh would be able to eat this crazy shit soon or else something really bad could happen.
(Back with Orihime and Tatsuki)
Tatsuki is struggling a little to get Chizuru to let go of her neck while Orihime is freaking out that something like this is happening right now just when things were already getting super freaky.
"You monster! What have you done with Chizuru?" Orihime demanded of the Hollow.
"Chizuru… Let go!" Tatsuki said.
"I just use a bit of my powers." Numb Chandelier answered.
"Powers?" Orihime puzzled a bit, the strange thing on Chizuru's shoulder is her power.
"I don't like violence. That's why I use these seeds from my forehead to take control of others to make you humans fight amongst yourselves." Numb Chandelier explained with an evil grin.
"But why?" Orihime asked.
"Wait a fucking minute, that monster threw a lot of those seed things…" Tatsuki took a quick look at her surroundings, and she gasp with her eyes widen.
"Now everyone, it's time to get started." Numb Chandelier said.
"Oh no, Orihime! Look out!" Tatsuki alerted.
"No, what's going on?" Orihime asked shock.
"Didn't you hear what that monster has been saying? It's controlling them from those seed things that splatted on them, and now they're under her mind-control bullshit!" Tatsuki explained.
"Oh, right! I'm sorry, I tend to forget things when I'm really scared." Orihime apologized.
"Doesn't matter right now, just get out of here!" Tatsuki said.
"No! I'm not going to leave you! Not ever!" Orihime refused to leave her best friend behind in the middle of a dangerous situation like this.
"Alright, I guess you can try helping me. Hold on a sec!" Tatsuki threw a punch on Chizuru's face and performed a throw to get Chizuru to let go of her neck.
"Fine, just be sure to protect yourself with the martial art lessons you took a while back." Tatsuki advised.
"Okay, I'll try." Orihime nodded.
Two of the male-controlled students came at Orihime to pin her in place only for the long orange hair girl managing to slip past between them and chop them both in the necks, knocking them down and quickly move away from them.
Tatsuki threw one or two strikes at each of the four students knocking them down with little effort.
"Tatsuki, look out!" Orihime grabbed Tatsuki's arm to pull her away from two guys charging in to grab her only to drop onto the ground.
"Whoa, thanks for the save." Tatsuki thanked her best friend.
"Of course, I'm going to be the one protecting you this one just like all those other times you protected me!" Orihime said with strength in her eyes and the fire of determination in her eyes.
"Orihime!" Tatsuki surprised to see that Orihime who is usually kind and timid at times is now being so brave in this sudden ghostly crisis.
"Try being brave all you want; you won't escape me once I have you under my control." Numb Chandelier proclaimed and fired several more of her seeds.
Tatsuki and Orihime quickly move out of the way and dodge them the best they could, but this weird monster is not lighting up since her human puppets are having a hard time trying to capture them for the seeds to hit them.
"You little girls are starting to become annoying." Numb Chandelier angered and shot a few more seeds.
Orihime was about to move again only this time one of the boys managed to grab a hold of her that prevent the orange hair girl from moving.
"Tatsuki, help!" Orihime screamed.
"Orihime!" Tatsuki gasped and quickly ran up to her.
One seed came flying fast towards Orihime to inject her and become another one of the Hollow's puppets, but Tatsuki wouldn't let that happen as she got between the incoming seed and Orihime with one fist tighten and ready to punch it out.
"Don't you fucking mess with us!" Tatsuki shouted in rage and threw the punch that collided with the seed splatting it into paste.
"You foolish girl! Now you'll be under my control and there is nothing you can do about it!" Numb Chandelier laughed evilly.
"I wouldn't be so sure!" Tatsuki gritted her teeth and turns around to punch the guy off from Orihime.
"Tatsuki, your hand!" Orihime gasped, feeling responsibility for letting this happen to her.
"Don't worry, I'm fine. This is nothing that I can't handle." Tatsuki grinned.
"Are you sure about that, by now your body is being consumed by my seed and in a few seconds, you will be under my control. You won't have the will to fight back." Numb Chandelier explained, moving closer to Tatsuki.
"And the first thing I'm going to make you do is to attack that friend of y" But Numb Chandelier's sentence was cut off when Tatsuki threw a punch right between the eyes and pushing her back three feet.
"Shut the fuck up, bitch!" Tatsuki shouted and gave the monster the middle finger.
"Damn it, I don't know how you're resisting my control right now, but it'll only be a matter of time until you become my puppet." Numb Chandelier glared at the girl who punched her.
"Are you sure? Because right now, I can barely feel my arm going against my will and the rest of my body feels just fine, maybe your little seed aren't that scary." Tatsuki mocked while moving her body a bit.
"(To be honest, I'm surprise that I can still move around freely despite the damn seed trying to take control of my arm, but I'm hanging in there and I have to for her.)" Tatsuki thought turned her head toward Orihime.
"(Tatsuki, I know you're fighting hard to protect me and knowing it'd be painful for you to hurt me with your own two hands.)" Orihime thought figured while thinking back on the past.
(Flashback)
"Orihime, you have such beautiful hair. It's so long and shiny." Sora, Orihime's older brother who was alive at the same time, complimented on Orihime's red hair.
"That made me so happy. But when school started—" Orihime remembered what happened next.
"What's with that ridiculous hair?" A boy asked mockingly.
"We'll teach you to be such a showoff." Another said while holding scissors.
The mean boys started cutting Orihime's hair into a shorter look as she screams in horror.
"I couldn't tell Sora the truth." Orihime felt bad for lying to her big brother.
The scene shows Sora looking surprised at Orihime's new shorter hairstyle.
"What happened? Why did you cut your hair?" Sora asked concern.
"I just felt like a change. That's all." Orihime lied, not wanting to worry her big brother about the bullies and all.
Next scene shows Orihime standing in the middle of her elementary school classroom, looking very sad and almost lifeless on the face while the other students were leaving the classroom since school just ended.
"He died soon after that, and I just got lonelier and lonelier." Orihime remembered that sad part.
"Hello? Earth to Orihime, anybody home in there?" Tatsuki called out and grabs Orihine's hand, getting her attention.
"Hey, so what do you say? Let's go home. Hmm?" Tatsuki asked giggling.
Seeing her smile suddenly made Orihime feel happy and responded with a smile of her own, a smile she has not done since her brother's death and gave Tatsuki a nod that she would indeed like to walk home together with her.
(Flashback End)
Orihime still struggles to get the guy off from her while looking at Tatsuki.
"(You know, it's because of you that I was able to grow my hair long again. And I'll never cut my hair again.)" Orihime thought clutched her hands.
"(That's because my long hair proves something. It proves my trust in you, Tatsuki.)" Orihime thought believed.
Not wanting to waste any time like this anymore, Orihime threw a backward headbutt on the guy's face causing him to lose his grip on the girl and Orihime was able to do a shoulder throw to knock him down.
"Tatsuki!" Orihime hugged Tatsuki from behind.
"Whoa, whoa, Orihime!" Tatsuki shocked.
"Thank you for doing everything you could to protect me until now. Like I said before, I'm going to protect you this time." Orihime smiled.
"(Orihime, since when did you look so much stronger than before?)" Tatsuki thought asked shock and amazed.
Tatsuki had always done her best to keep Orihime safe from any danger even some bad things like people making fun of her hair or some idiots trying to get close to her, but now it looks like her long-time friend has started to show some mature and strong in spirit wanting to get into the danger to protect her.
"(Man, life really is full of surprises.)" Tatsuki thought chuckled.
"(Seeing Orihime getting stronger makes me wanna get stronger too. Stronger to protect her, and to protect the people we care about like Ichigo, Chad, Michiru, Keigo, Sado, and sure even Chizuru. Yoh seems important to protect too.)" Tatsuki thought of all her friends including Yoh.
"(I wanna be stronger, stronger, and even stronger to fight these fucking monsters and protect everyone!)" Tatsuki thought determined.
Both best friends have decided the same thing with their spirit growing stronger and stronger until the hairpins on Orihime's hair and Tatsuki's fist started to glow, and a tornado is form around them.
"Impossible!" Numb Chandelier gasped, sensing something strong coming from those girls.
"I hope you're ready for a beating because you seem to have awoken the beast within us." Tatsuki said.
"That's right, we mess with the wrong people and the wrong people to hurt." Orihime added.
"Prepare yourself, we're gonna kick your ass!" Tatsuki pointed her now glowing golden-orange aura fist.
"We will never forgive you for all the bad things you have done here." Orihime glared at the ghost monster with some small flying things around them.
"Just what exactly are you two? Using those strange powers. But how?" Numb Chandelier asked, feeling a bit of fear.
"I'm not too sure myself, but if this helps us defeat then that's fine with me." Tatsuki smirked.
Though Orihime is noticing the strange flying objects around her and Tatsuki, feeling like she knows what they are but couldn't make it what exactly.
"Who are you?" Orihime asked.
"Come on. Don't tell me you didn't notice us until just now." One male voice said.
"What the…?" Tatsuki spooked from the new voice.
"Sure, she noticed us. I'm certain she knew that we existed." A female voice stated.
"Orihime, look up!" Tatsuki gasped as she looks up. Orihime does the same to finally noticing the six flying things.
"After all, once you think about it, haven't we always been the ones closest to you?" The female voice said.
One of the little flying things came down onto Orihime's left shoulder revealing itself to be a small woman.
"Hello, Orihime." The small woman in red greeted.
Soon, the other five flying creatures came down around Orihime and revealed themselves to also be small people with three of them being males and the other two being females like the first one.
"Freaky, what are you guy?" Tatsuki asked.
"We are the Shun Shun Rikka, your Six Princess Shielding Flowers. And we've come here to protect Orihime." The first female answered.
"W-Wait a second! Why are there a bunch of little fairs flying around, talking to me?" Orihime asked surprise.
"I'm honestly stump." Tatsuki said.
"Sheesh, that was quite the reaction. But to be accurate, we're not fairies. You see, we are the powers from inside your soul. And each one of us is a part of you. And only you are able to see us." The little woman in red explained.
"(Powers from inside the soul?)" Tatsuki thought wondered as she looks at her glowing fist, curious if this power is from her soul too.
"Uh, well, maybe people like Ichigo Kurosaki and Yoh Asakura can see us too. And your friend Tatsuki here too." The first small flying female said.
"Ichigo? Why him?" Orihime asked, feeling confused.
"Yoh, I can understand since he killed another one of those monster things before, but why Ichigo? Are you saying he can see ghosts too?" Tatsuki asked.
"Well, it's because of him that we were born." The first small flying small answered.
"You talk too much." One black male small flying being flew in tackling the girl away.
"Alright, listen up. You don't need to know who we are or where we came from. All you need to know is that we're a part of your powers." The black flying small man said.
"You're pretty bossy for somebody so tiny." Orihime commented bluntly.
"Yeah, I wonder how you'll be allow on the big kids' ride." Tatsuki joked.
"Real funny, you two!" The black flying small man snapped at them.
"Just shut up and learn how to use us right now!" The black flying small man yelled.
"Learn how to use you?" Orihime puzzled at this.
"That's right."
"You can use our power to construct a shield to reject any spirit attacks." One purple flying small man with an eyepatch said.
"In order to activate this shield, you must use your heart and our kotodama, a spirit chant." The third flying man with a metal guard mouth explained.
"K-Kotodama?" Orihime struggled to keep up with what these little guys are telling her right now.
"Orihime, I know this is a lot to take in, but I think you need to really learn fast because we still got trouble!" Tatsuki stated.
"Your friend is right, it's coming." The black flying small man said.
Numb Chandelier flew over to a different spot, a little far away from the girls.
"So, what are you two doing mumbling to each other?" Numb Chandelier asked, thinking those girls are up to something.
"(So, it can't see Orihime's flying friends.)" Tatsuki thought noticed that.
"Tell me, now!" Numb Chandelier demanded, growing five of her seeds from her forehead.
"Shit!" Tatsuki readied herself.
"It's time, Orihime. Now, call out our names! I am Hinagiku."
"I am Baigon."
"My name's Lily."
Orihime is still nervous about her sudden new awakening power, but Tatsuki place a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
"Stay calm. You must summon them with your kotodama. Now repeat after me." The red small flying woman said to help her master.
"Hinagiku, Baigon, Lily. Hurry!" The red small flying woman said.
Numb Chandelier fires her five seeds to attack Orihime and Tatsuki, and Orihime decides to go for it.
"Hinagiku, Baigon, Lily." Orihime called out their names.
"Santen Kesshun, I reject." Hinagiku, Baigon, and Lily said the chant for Orihime to say.
"Santen Kesshun. Santen Kesshun, I reject!" Orihime said the chant the three created a triangle shield that protects them from the seeds much to Numb Chandelier shock.
"Their powers let them create a shield between you and your enemy and then reject what's outside that shield, so they're able to protect you from any outside attack." The small flying red woman explained.
"That's amazing!" Tatsuki amazed.
"You see, we have the ability to reject what is within a shield. We are able to make a defined space with our shield. And then we can reverse any damage that has been inflicted inside that space." The flying red small woman explained a bit more.
"Okay, now let see what I can do!" Tatsuki sprinted toward the ghost monster.
"(It's weird, I feel like there is something else in my fist even though I'm not holding anything.)" Tatsuki noticed this, but decided to just go with it.
Tatsuki jumps at Numb Chandelier who panicked and try to make her attack again, but it was too late as Tatsuki threw the glowing punch that made contact on the forehead causing cracks to appear all over the face and then the Hollow exploded into nothing,
"Wow, way to go, Tatsuki!" Orihime cheered.
"Oh yeah, I can get use to this!" Tatsuki smiled at her fist.
"Yep, you two definitely have some potential than anything you just realize." Kisuke said, appearing with his number two large man while carrying Chad over his shoulder.
Orihime and Tatsuki are confused about who are those two men are and why do they have Chad with them, they just hope it's not another weird thing because they already went through all of that.

Looks like Orihime and Tatsuki were able to awaken their hidden powers and defeated the Hollow that was controlling everybody, but Tatsuki's power is going to be something else than what you guys are probably thinking. The hint is what she was thinking about before she killed the Hollow.
