It was a long trip…but we finally made it, auresco. The capital of torna. As we approached the palace, I noticed a blacksmith. "You all go on ahead." i said.

"What? Another of lora's stalkers?" mythra asked.

"Nah. just want to do some shopping." i said.

"Well, you certainly deserve some downtime. By all means, enjoy what auresco has to offer, if your needed i'll send someone." addam said. He and the others went to the palace.

"Alright…time to get lora a sword." i said. I went to the blacksmiths. "Is it alright if i use the forge here?" i asked.

"Planning to make something yourself? Thousand gold." the blacksmith said. I payed him and got to work. We got plenty of good and powerful material and monster parts during our trip here…so making an incredibly sharp sword should be no problem. After melting down several minerals and monster parts. I got the metal I needed. I hammered the raw metal into the shape of a katana. After dipping it in a barrel of water. I looked at my masterpiece.

A beautiful red katana with a black hilt. I had only one last addition to make. I pulled out one of loras charms and put it through the bottom of the hilt.

"I have to admit…that's one fine blade…worthy of a name." the blacksmith said. I thought about it for a bit.

"Eternal bond. That will be it's name. Thanks for letting me use your forge." i said as i walked towards the palace. The guards knew i was coming and escorted me in i came face to face with the tornan king.

"My son has told me about…you're a bit…reckless. But you're a powerful warrior. and a master at crafting and enhancing weapons. It's a shame you have no memory. I would like to ask of how you learned such arts of warfare." the king said.

"Thank you for the compliment your highness…so what now?" i asked.

"With the threat of malos…people are in fear…they need someone to give them hope…" the king said.

"So help people inside of auresco. And out?" i asked. The king nodded. Well helping people is what lora and jin do best. So why not? Before we left auresco. I gave lora eternal bond.

"You can't buy a sword. So i made one." i said. She drew the sword. And looked at it in awe.

"What a beautiful blade…thank you kaku." lora said with a grateful smile. I smiled back.

The next week was spent helping others across torna and gormott. On the fifth day mark we found an old village.

"Very good. We can stay here for the day." addam said. I noticed jin looking around. And so did lora.

"Something wrong?" lora asked.

"No but…this place feels familiar somehow." jin said.

"Is it possible that a past driver of yours was from here?" i asked. Jin shrugged.

"Probably." jin said.

"Well. you and lora doing some exploring. I'll handle things here." i said. They nodded. After a bit of exploring. I found lora staring out a window while jin was looking at her. And soon some villager ran in.

"Hey, you! You wouldn't be ornelias former blade would you? From the territorial defense corps! It is you!" the villager yelled.

"What?" jin asked. The villager talked about the past. Apparently jin was this guy's hero as a kid. He did reveal some good info…on where this ornelia used to live. A house on the outskirts of this village…we went there hoping to give jin some closure of his past driver.

"I'll check out the back." lora said.

"Good." jin said. He went inside. After a bit of searching jin found an old picture…it was him among a group of people.

"So I'm guessing this is the territorial defense corps?" I asked. Jin was silent. He put the photo down. He pulled out a book that was on the shelf. His eyes became filled with shock and sadness.

"Are you alright jin?" i asked. He didn't respond…yeah he's not okay.

"My…how terribly desolate." lora said. Her voice but jin out of his stupor. He slammed the book and quickly put it back. Lora noticed jin's abnormal behavior. "What is it? Do you remember something?"

"N-no…it's nothing." jin said.

"Really? The shock you had when reading that book didn't seem that way to me." i said.

"I am…who I am. I do not change." jin said. Lora grabbed onto her chest as if in pain. "Lora! Are you ok? What happened?" jin asked in concern.

"Ugh…you got me right here." lora said. She looked up at jin. Her cheeks red. "My heart's pounding!" lora yelled. I could swear i see an aura of tiny pink hearts coming from her.

"Huh? But…" jin said. Utterly baffled.

"That! That was such an awesome line!" lora yelled.

"Uh..what?" jin asked. Still confused.

"Jin, you didn't even realize, did you? Sometimes you'll…say something, and i'll just swoon." lora said. I chuckled.

"And this is the part where you two kiss." i said. Both of their faces went red. And they looked at me with shock.

"Come on kaku! I already told you we're not like that." lora tried to deny.

"You really me expect to believe that after that display." i said with a smug look on my face.

"Kaku!" lora yelled in embarrassment. She then looked at the photo. "You know…we should take a photo as well." lora said. However the photo suddenly became a group photo. "When did this become a group thing?...it was supposed to be just me and jin…" lora said.

"Don't worry. I'm pretty sure that camera has got enough film…you two lovebirds can have your photo afterwards." i said with a grin. Jin and lora blushed. Haze looked annoyed. While mythra giggled. As the camera guy took the photo. I got a bit sneaky. And pulled jin and lora closer together. Just as the photo snapped.

"Really kaku?" brighid asked.

"Couldn't resist." i said with a shrug and smile on my face. I once again got a bonk to the head courtesy of haze. As night rolled around. I learned about milton. Resources were scarce. So much so that they mined the mountain to the point it caused a flood. He was one of the only survivors. Addam saved him. And he's been with him for three years. Lora explained her past to him and mikhail as well. He said nothing. But if what milton said is true. He's smiling on the inside. I noticed mythra watching and smiling. I approached her.

"You could join in you know? Anything you want to talk about?" i asked.

"Kaku…are you…afraid of me?" mythra asked.

"Why would i be?" i asked.

"I'm the aegis…i have the same power as malos...the kind of destruction he can do…i can…so i ask again…are you afraid of me?" mythra asked.

"No I'm not…" i said. Summoning my sword…"any form of power is like this…a sword in your hands. It can only be used for evil if the hand on its hilt wills it. I'm not afraid of you, i'm not afraid of the power you wield. Because I know you're using it for good. To save this world from malos. And as long as it's that way…then i have no reason to be afraid." i said. Mythra blushed. And before i knew it. I felt her lips on my cheek again.

"Tell anyone i did that, and-" mythra said.

"You'll burn me, i know the drill." i said. Mythra walked away with a blush and a smile. I yawned and went to rest for the next day. I woke up and stretched. I noticed the room was a total mess.

"Did someone throw a scared adolescent ardun threw the window or something?" i asked. I got out of the bed, put on my shoes. And got ready for another day…though i noticed addam had a massive bruise on his forehead. "What the hell happened last night?" i asked.

"Whatever do you mean?" addam asked.

"Well for starters, our room looked like the aftermath of tirkin rave. And i'm pretty sure you didn't have that shiner before." i said.

"That would be my fault…sorry." mythra said.

"Your lessons have really smoothed out her rough edges chum, she wouldn't have apologized for anything before!" addam said. I sighed. To none of these people realize how rude they were being to mythra?

After spending the next few days helping folks. We returned to auresco…only to find it under attack, the attackers were the same piles of junk that we fought back when we first met addam and mythra. If there are this many here…then malos must be nearby. We ran towards the palace. And found a man with spiky black hair in a black bodysuit. In his hand. A sword that was the opposite of mythras. A saber of dark energy. He turned around.

"Hello, partner. This is a first." malos said.

"Malos." mythra said.

"So this is the big bad." i said.

"He has an awesome presence…we would do well to proceed with caution." aegaeon said.

"Agreed." brighid said. Mythra walked forward.

"Your MO is different this time, malos. What are you trying to do?" mythra asked.

"I got bored of it…letting siren have all the fun got old, i mean. I wanted to see humans dance, the dance of death, in the flames of hellfire." malo said. He looked up to the huge tower. "I know full well what the tornan titan truly is, i've decided..i'm gonna lay that truth bare, for everyone to see." malo said with a grin you can't help but want to punch.

"Malos…bastard!" addam yelled. I stepped in front of everyone.

"Kaku!" lora yelled worryingly.

"Malos…i'm in a generous mood. I don't know what you're planning. But i do know that things will get ugly if you don't take your giant tin cans and get lost! NOW!" i yelled. malos looked at me with an raised eyebrow.

"You seem….familar, it'll come back to me soon enough." malos said. He pointed sword at me. "Show me what you got! Human!" malos yelled. I cracked my neck and summoned my sword.

I charged at malos. Despite everything yelling at me to stop. Swords clashing. I swung with my usual aggressiveness. I Knocked him back.

"Monado jail!" malos yelled. Chains of darkness wrapped around me. His sword charged with dark energy. "Striker edge!" he yelled. Swinging his sword at me. I broke free of the chains. I jumped on the golden metal of his sword.

"My turn! Freikugel!" i yelled. I pointed my sword right in malo's face. A huge beam blasted from my sword. Sending him backwards.

"You little!" malos yelled. I was already up in his face again

"Explosion!" i yelled. My hair glowed. As a blast of blue energy appeared around my body. "Mad rush!" i yelled. I thrusted my sword at malos. Running him over like a mad bull. "Gaea rage!" I yelled. I stabbed the ground. The earth began to crack under malos before erupting underneath him knocking him into the air and spinning.

"Kos-mos!" i yelled.

"Understood." she replied. Throwing me her cannon. I blasted him in the air with everything i've got once he hit the ground i smashed the barrel into his chest.

"Let's give this everything we've got! Kos-mos full power!" i yelled.

"Understood." kos-mos replied.

"X-buster!" i yelled. Unleashing a a huge blast of energy that if anymore powerful. It would have probably hit the titan's heart. Despite that hellish beating i gave him. He still got up.

"Ouch…damn that smarts!" malos said as he got up with a limp. "Well now I know who you are…or rather what you are…that beating gave me a good clue." malos said.

"What are you talking about?" i asked.

"Your not human…not even close…nor are you blade…your something else entirely…the aggression. The blue and nuclear power…your an armageddon knight of the frei clan…things are getting interesting!" malos yelled.

"What madness are you talking about!?" addam yelled.

"So kaku is some alien knight…you really expect us to believe that!?" hugo yelled.

"It's possibly true…" jin said. Everyone turned to him. "When we met kaku…we didn't just find him on the ground…he appeared in a flash of blue light…and after he tore apart that first siren…it was obvious, that kaku wasn't human." jin said. I couldn't say anything.

"Armageddon knight…of the frei clan…" i said, my head hurt…filled with the memories of my past life…as kaku frei…the place i lived in was a wasteland…where only the strong survived…and i was the strongest…ruled on a nuclear throne with the most powerful blade…the sword of the wasteland…until bokun showed up…despite my resistance, he struck me down. My soul taken, to fuel his power more, my soul was freed by blaze inferno tachinowarui, wielder of the armageddon blade…but the hatred and despair that kaku frei felt…it lived on through me. That's the reason that i have such anger in battle…that's the reason for my recklessness.

"Kaku? Kaku!" lora yelled. Finally getting my attention. Another of malos little toys landed in front of us. But it didn't attack us. Rather it flew off with malos on his back. I knew where they were heading.

"Kos-mos! Think you can take control of one of those things? We can't let him get away!" i yelled.

"Understood. Beginning hack." kos-mos said. A bunch holographic screens appeared. One of the robots red lights became blue. But everyone was surrounded by about five more of the things.

"Kaku! We'll handle this! Go after malos!" addam yelled.

"Fine! But if any of you die! I'm gonna be pissed!" i yelled.

"Don't worry. With me around, what's their to worry about." mythra said with a smile and a wink. I smiled back. And hopped on the back. And went after malos. He got some blue core from the tower.

"Too slow. It's already mine." malos said.

"Then i'll just take it back!" i yelled as i jumped off and landed on the platform. I then tackled him off. I grabbed onto the core he stole as we fell.

"I ain't letting this go! Things would get dull if i did!" malos said.

"Let's see if you loosen your grip, after I loosen your teeth!" i yelled. I repeatedly punched malos in the face. But of course he did the same to me in return after a good five minutes of punching each other and falling. I managed to take the core from him. I threw malos away from me…my consciousness began to fade as i kept falling…

I woke up with lora looking at me with worry..

"L–lora?" I asked.

"Your awake! Thank the architect!" lora yelled. But then she looked on to the side.

"What's wrong?" i asked.

"Was what malos said true…are you not really human?" lora asked. I averted my eyes from her.

"It's true…my original name was kaku frei…an armageddon knight who was the strongest of the clan. The one chosen to wield the sword of the wasteland." i said as i summoned said sword. "The armageddon arm of the clan..it's most powerful and sacred treasure…but even with it, kaku frei met his end at the hands of an powerful tyrant, who's reign of terror ended when an armageddon knight wielding the armageddon blade destroyed him and the cursed relic. Freeing the souls of those who were trapped within it, allowing them to reincarnate on different worlds…kaku frei was one of them. And he became kaku tachinowarui…me. Despite me being his reincarnation...his hate and despair lived on through me…all i wanted was to take my anger out on anything I could. But…I've changed since I've met you." i said. Lora looked at me with surprise.

"Me?" lora asked.

"Yes. thanks to you i've learned the importance of friendship…and trust." i said. Lora looked at me with a smile. And then gave me a hug.

"We learn from each other. That's what friends do. No matter what happens, you'll always be my ally and friend." lora said. I hugged her back.

"Thank you…lora." i said. A single tear going down my face.
