Survivor - Heroes vs Villains
Chapter 12 - Day 11 & Day 12 Part 1
Alright, everyone. I'm back.
So... I'll just warn you all. Remember when I said that due to this being a returning player season, things will be more competitive and there might be a chance at fewer character moments? ...I'll apply that here. This might be the most gamebotty episode so far of this season, and I'm struggling on where to include some character moments. Obviously I can't just include them anywhere, but... hopefully I'll be able to figure something out.
So let's pick up where we left off.
~KF
Villains
Night 10
Bowser, Sheik, Wolf, Ridley, Shadow, Ryu, Specter Knight, Plague Knight, Foxy, Springtrap
-/-
Yep. Still hanging with the Villains. No Hero tribe just yet.
So what were they up to this time?
Well since this was a night scene, it was indeed dark outside. The camp fire was going strong, and all ten villains were relaxing in the shelter, chatting among themselves until every last one of them fell asleep.
Currently they appeared to be in the middle of a discussion.
"So,... no challenge today, huh guys?" Springtrap asked everyone.
"Don't see how that's possible." Sheik was going to be completely shocked if she was wrong somehow. "Unless it's going to be a nighttime challenge, we're not doing a challenge today. They would have hinted at a challenge in the tree mail."
"Bummer..." Wolf sighed at the sound of that. "I was hoping it was going to be a reward challenge today. I mean, don't get me wrong. We've gotten everything we need. The flint, the fishing gear, the comfort, but I was hoping if we were going to participate in a reward challenge today, we would earn ourselves a barbecue. That really would have been nice."
"Yeah, that would mean absolute paradise over here." Ryu commented grinning. "...Oh, man. You got my appetite going, now."
"We slowly began to grow more curious as to whether or not we were going to have a reward challenge today." Wolf then went on to explain the history of how the usual challenge schedule worked. "Normally on day ten, after the first three tribals, we would have a separate reward challenge, and then one for immunity later on. However, in the last season, things were a little different. The only challenge at the fourth episode was the immunity challenge, and Master Hand revealed to them that it was going to be a double elimination round where both tribes headed to tribal to vote somebody off... And some of us began wondering the possibility of that happening again."
"I strongly believe that it's happening again, guys." said Springtrap, lying flat on his back with one of the blankets over him that came with the comfort reward. "Our vacation might be nearing its end,... we're all probably going to tribal."
"I'll be mad as hell if that happens again..." Ridley did not want a repeat of Survivor - Caribbean. "And I'm on the winning side this time, but in my season my team was on a losing streak. We got the upper hand in one challenge only for us to be sent right back to tribal because Master Hand said so."
No... It was a production twist, not Master Hand telling him to go to tribal because he felt like it. Supposedly Ridley was still a little bitter. "Now that I'm on a winning streak, he's going to send us all to tribal and ruin everything?"
"Well in that regard at least the twist is fair on both sides whether you lose or not..." Springtrap commented.
"Still, that doesn't mean I like it. It just messes everything up. ...What's the point of having challenges if we're all going to tribal, anyway?"
Foxy laughed at his reaction, even though Ridley did not even know if whether or not the double elimination was going to take place at the time. "He only did it one time last season to throw at curve ball at you guys."
"Okay, well if he wants to spice the game up, I don't run this show. But the double elimination twist, didn't like it then, won't like it now."
"Unless things would continue on as normal, we are currently predicting Master Hand to announce that there will be a double elimination taken place just as there was in my season. Not going to lie, Master Hand did have some slick tricks up his... glove you could say." Ridley talked. "I'm happy to be on this show again, but just because I am out here on the show does not mean I have to like everything Master Hand and production does... I mean, for Zebes's sake, we can't even ask for the time anymore. And every time you talk to a production member who is not interviewing, the rules specifically state that all they are going to do is stare and say nothing... Even when you have a legitimate question to ask them... It's so annoying..."
It was a reality show. Sure, it was a game as he said, but it was a damn reality show. Cameramen were not going to say anything and give players like Ridley information unless they were authorized to. Seriously... What in the name of Zebes did Ridley expect? Even the Survivor fans understood stuff like that. Best to suck it up and deal with it. He did it before, right?
Villains
Day 11
It was just past eight in the morning, not to say that they actually knew the exact time of day it was anymore due to production having new rules, but that was another story. Everybody received their water, they had their fire going, and they were mostly chilling around. Some of their bodies still needed to wake up, especially since a few of them never even left the shelter yet.
Ryu was one of them, sitting Indian style eyeing the fire that Bowser and Specter started for the day.
"Apparently winning streaks are my thing. I've won the first three immunity challenges before in my season. So I pretty much already know what it's like. There's this usual calm energy around camp and it always seems like not many people are strategizing,... but basically people are always talking about each other behind their backs. The saying went that the moment when a tribe loses, that's when they scramble like crazy... But on the Villains tribe,... I feel that people are already doing that..."
Foxy was seen having a talk with Springtrap.
"We just make sure that it's either going to be Plague or Specter." He counted on his fingers. "One of them has to go a hundred percent. The longer they both stay here, the more dangerous of a pair they might become and we're all gonna be looking stupid."
"Yeah. I'll put one of their names down when we go to tribal.
Specter Knight was caught having a conversation with Ridley.
"You were a major villain on your season, and you are going to have a target on your back at some point. And for that reason, you might want to consider eliminating someone who is supposedly not really a threat off the bat in Sheik. Getting rid of a non-threat could increase the chances of both of us making it far."
"I'll definitely keep that in mind." Ridley nodded in thought. "I know my name is going to be tossed around, but the least I could do is delay the inevitable."
Now Foxy was talking with Bowser.
"Specter Knight is the most likely person here to cause trouble. He's the kind of person that hides in the grass and then attacks you the moment your back is turned like a snake." He explained while Bowser bobbed his head up and down to show him he was listening. ...What were the chances of Solid Snake coming back to play Survivor again by the way? Come on. Take a guess. "Plague Knight is a good number for him to have, and Plague actually ain't that bad a player. And even though he helped us won, he's still the weakest link. One of them has to go."
But, what a minute... Now Specter Knight was speaking to Wolf.
"She might not look like it, but Sheik is the most likely person here to pull off some unexpecting plays on unsuspecting players. Worst case scenario she could have this game in her hand from start to finish if she plays perfectly here. She'll use every last person here to her advantage due to her low threat level, and we're all going to be voted off if we don't do something about it."
"Mmm-hmm..."
"I think that the moment we realized yesterday that both tribes might be going to Tribal Council like in my season," said Springtrap. "it might have kicked a few people into gear, and now people are strategizing more right now in comparison to the past ten days here. So our little vacation on this beach is already coming to an end, and we haven't even got to the challenge, yet. I'm getting the impression that people were just trying to hold themselves in as long as I can, including myself, but my early strategy was to simply sit back and chill for a little while, anyway. So long story short, in my mind I'm like, 'Okay, y'all can strategize your heads off all you want. Until I go to tribal, I'm gonna keep that same mindset that everything is all peaches and cream. At least on my end."
Crossing his foot over his right knee and resting his arms behind his head against a tree, all Kevin Davis needed were a pair of black shades and that would have been it.
As he was kicking back and relaxing, SGA 2.0 decided to have a brief meeting in a more shaded area on the island.
"Things are starting to kick up around here..." Bowser Koopa mumbled under his breath.
"That's why I motioned the both of you over." Ridley nodded in agreement. "Apparently, Specter and Plague Knight are coming after Sheik,... and Specter had a conversation with Shadow the other day."
"Shadow's in on writing Sheik?"
"Haven't talked with him directly." He shook. "But I guess in Specter's mind he is."
"Yeah, Foxy was the one who actually talked to me first telling me to write down either Plague or Specter at tribal." Bowser elaborated on what went down from his perspective. "And then just over ten minutes later, here comes Specter himself out of nowhere telling me to write down Sheik at tribal! Hahahaha! Do they even realize they're basically after each other?"
"I don't know, but I think it's more of them trying to save their close ally." Ryu assumed. "Specter is trying to save Plague, and Foxy is trying to save Sheik. My guess is Foxy probably heard that Specter threw Sheik's name out there in order to save himself and Plague from elimination, and now Foxy feels that he has no choice but to talk to people in order to keep the target off her back and make sure one of those two go home."
"The most interesting part about this situation is that none of us in our secret three alliance is being thought of right now as a target." And that was something Ridley was relieved about. "And I think it should stay that way. However, if both teams are going to tribal, a decision has to be made, and I think we need to keep our three votes on the same page. We could vote with Sheik and Foxy at tribal and send home Plague or Specter, or we can vote with them and send home Sheik. It's just a matter of taking all of our opinions into consideration and coming to a consensus on what we're going to do... And normally I'm the one that has a say in how things go when it comes to literally everything, but Bowser has eight kids and he's a leader in his own right, and Ryu was trained by a notorious martial arts master who knows Specter and Plague more than the rest of us... So it's not going to be as easy as I would like..."
In other words, three large egos... Well mainly Bowser and Ridley. Ryu usually came across as a humble kind of guy that simply took his work seriously.
"So what are we gonna do?" Bowser started off. "At least we know who they are going to write down when we see Master Hand..."
"You both know what I really wanna do." Ryu held his hands out in front of him. "But due to Specter now being a target himself, I was not really expecting to go against him this early on. And because of him now being on the chopping block, if I put his name down, I have to make sure now is the right time..."
"You wouldn't want to kick him off now?"
"No I'm saying that I want to, but if I need to at this moment." He clarified. "It has to be timed right, and since we're a group of ten, we have to think long-term of how we're going to move forward, which means there could still be benefits of keeping Specter here just for the sake of the team."
"Well what are they, then?" Bowser was rather curious. "You do realize he and Plague are two people. We can't keep too many threats around. They're threats for a reason and the only person that benefits from Plague Knight is Specter himself."
"Both of them do hold the title of the villain more than Sheik." Ridley brought up. "See, Specter is not a hundred percent wrong here. Sheik is not going to be an option to be on the chopping block for a long while and I think she knows it."
"But, what is she gonna do? Get another Steal-A-Vote advantage and take somebody's vote away again?"
"Heh!" Ryu snickered at the sound of that. "If that was the case, hopefully the master understands his own rules this time of how his advantages are really supposed to work so that nobody is unfairly screwed over anymore."
Facts! Say it one more time!
"Keeping Plague or Specter over her, at least with them we know what to expect." Ridley spoke. Though he placed a finger beneath his chin and began having second thoughts almost instantly. "But then why would we keep those two around who are together known for putting on surprises?"
"That's what I'm saying!" Bowser replied. "I'm surprised that people are actually listening to whatever comes out of Specter's mouth and that he might have Shadow of all people with him!"
"I'm surprised he wasn't voted off immediately after what he did to Espio." The purple dragon faced Ryu and pointed. "Didn't you tell me you were already going home at that point before he beat you at immunity?"
"That's correct." He confirmed. "...Though I was right behind him in that challenge, and if I won that,... obviously I was not going anywhere. But I needed that immunity more than he did. He's just that good at convincing people. That's how he was able to pit Golden and Funky against each other resulting in Golden's elimination, and then when he got eliminated a round later, he didn't even receive the majority of the votes because he convinced people to target all of the Beauty tribe members left."
"So he's basically trying to work his magic. I got it..."
"Yep. Always convincing other people to work for his own selfish interests."
Time to have a quick check on the two knights of the tribe themselves at the beach.
"...You okay?" The skeleton asked the scientist.
"Hee hee! I'm... actually doing alright." He grinned underneath his mask. "I was irritated several days in the row, but now it doesn't seem so bad anymore... But I'm concerned of this possible twist, now."
"I am as well, and mostly because I feel like it is my name that is also on the block." Specter Knight pointed at himself sighing. "Just what I needed..."
"Do we have Shadow and Ridley?"
"Hopefully..." He was not able to tell for sure. "It's about convincing others and really pushing your perspective forward. But when or if we go to tribal, we know who we need to write down."
Plague Knight after eleven days of being in the game was starting to feel a little better overall,... but not quite all the way there. "I... all of a sudden don't feel like I'm a hundred percent going home anymore. Now keep in mind, I know I'm still in trouble, but at least there are other options. Specter and I have tried throwing Sheik out there, and... people are actually listening, which is a great thing! ...However, Specter Knight himself seems to have people talking. Unfortunate... But on the bright side, if things don't exactly go my way, perhaps Specter could at least be the stepping stone for me to somehow get far in this. In the beginning, he made it clear that he wanted to keep his distance until he realized we actually needed each other. But,... when it comes to him and I, if the tribe prefers to have him out over me,... I've got to put myself first."
He did not want to really talk like that, yet his smile remained. "However, hopefully the both of us still here. Sometimes we hate putting up with each other, but times like this,... we are... kind of all we really have out here. We fought for each other before, so we're both well prepared for this."
Heroes
Day 11
Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Zelda, Meta Knight, Vector, Shovel Knight, Golden
-/-
It was finally time to head back to the Heroes tribe.
So they were overall in a slightly better mood in comparison to the previous day, coming off the night where they had to write off Sonic. Yet overtime, it became less about losing the Sonic the Hedgehog, and rather more about simply losing another tribe member.
Oh just how insulting it was of how the entire tribe of Villains were still in tact, yet the Heroes tribe were already down to seven members, nearly a third of the of the whole team.
Then again, the Heroes losing was their problem, not the Villains.
But,... there was something to think about. The red team was not the only team that was thinking about the fact that there was no reward challenge the previous day, and they were not the only team assuming that the Master Hand was going to spice things up and have another double elimination twist just how did in season four.
There was a current discussion going on by the fire where Vector, Zelda, Shovel Knight, and Donkey Kong sat.
"You know,..." DK said with a fist against his face in the shelter. "I would actually feel kinda neutral if both teams have to go to tribal. The Villains actually have more to lose than we do."
"You sure about that?" asked Shovel Knight. "If we go to tribal again, almost half of our tribe would be gone, while they would still have nine members."
"Beats having the entire team making it to the merge, because that was rather close to happening in my season if I didn't idol out Little Mac."
Poor guy... It was the whole fact that his own coach won a season and him not even making it to the merge that told something to people.
"Something tells me that we might have another double elimination approaching just like in my season, Survivor - Caribbean..." Meta Knight heaved a sigh. "But you know, in our situation, it is not a hundred percent a bad thing. On one hand, we obviously lose yet another member, but on the other, the fact that the Villains would also be going to tribal neutralizes that. ...Yet on our hand, now that the winners have been eliminated, if or when we do see Master Hand again at tribal, this next vote might be the one that determines where exactly do people stand with each other..."
"I'm good with you, correct?"
"Yeah..." Donkey Kong nodded his way in the forest. "And you know if you have me, you have Golden. That makes the three of us in an alliance."
"Perfect. And you know if you have me, you have Shovel. So that makes four of us in alliance. That is just enough for the majority."
"What'cha thinkin', Zel?"
Zelda was standing by the beach hearing the big crocodile coming her way.
"Oh... Not much. ...I'd just want to confirm us being okay with working with each other. If you and Yoshi are both in an alliance, I'm a third vote you would need if things go downhill on your end."
"Meta Knight has been someone me and DK have been strategizing the most with other than Sonic and Isabelle when they were still here." Golden spoke. "He might have played a factor of getting them both out, but in comparison to everybody else, we actually trust him more. My guess is that he came in the game as one of the least connected, and now that DK and I have proven to him that we're two people he can work with, he finds no issue of the three of us making a little alliance, and the two of us needed someone else to work with anyway, now that our friend are already on Ponderosa..."
"Don't worry. Yoshi and I are both with you." Vector made himself clear. "The three of us are going to be in an alliance together, and all we would have to do is to hope and pray that we all make it to the merge."
"Alright, then. We are official. And I've played with Shovel Knight before. He's pretty solid and we have no issues, so I think us four being in an alliance together, we might not enter the merge with the most numbers, but at least we'll have a strong alliance."
"That's how you make the best of it, I suppose."
"I didn't really expect myself to be in an alliance with Zelda of all people, but I'll go ahead and take that!" Vector smirked in satisfaction. "Yoshi and I are good, and Zelda feels like it's her best interest to align with us. I guess she feels like she needs to have a couple people on her side since her name was written down the first two tribals. But since we lost three immunity challenges, simply getting rid of the weakest link just to keep the team strong is rather pointless. So Yoshi and I need more numbers, and if Zelda feels comfortable with us, I ain't complaining. All I know I do not wanna be next."
But, wait a minute... There was a certain player who was brought up on both sides... Someone needed to be the fourth vote needed for that majority. A certain someone with a blue helmet with an unconventional weapon.
...Okay, a certain knight who's name started with an 'S'.
He was currently standing right between Golden and Meta Knight.
"You are with us, right?"
"I am." Shovel Knight answered with a nod. "Who are we to eliminate, though? Does it matter?"
"Well, in any situation, it does." Golden spoke the truth. "Everything matters when it comes to every single case scenario in Survivor. We just need to figure out who's going to be the right choice. All three of them have reasons to be voted off, honestly..."
"Vector's going to be a threat again in challenges, and Zelda and Yoshi might not have won, but they have both made it to the end before." Meta Knight brought the statistics to the table. "I'd say they are far more likely to reach the end again than Plague. None of us standing here right now has made it to the end."
"Solid arguments indeed." Shovel agreed. "We already voted off the winners, why not get rid of the non-winning finalists as well? One of them makes it to the end again, that's an automatic advantage in their jury speech."
"Donkey Kong and Golden are in an alliance together, and they both have Meta Knight. Vector and Yoshi have an alliance together, and they both have Zelda..." The rather small warrior sighed. "I suppose we all know what that means... I'm smack dab in the middle... Never in a million years I would have predicted this..."
Shovel Knight as a swing vote, huh? Interesting...
Well it kinda made sense. The two alpha males were not going to break up and the two reptiles were not going to break up. Yet both alliances had an extra member and both sides needed Shovel to confirm the majority.
He was now standing right between Zelda and Yoshi.
"We need you, Shovel Knight." The brunette stated simply. "It can be us three and Vector, and we would have a good solid four alliance. All the winners are gone, but now it's best to stay in the game as long as we can."
"Yeah, and last time at tribal kinda spooked me." Yoshi admitted. "I never had my name written down against me before... It's a brand new feeling for me."
"Golden and Donkey Kong are going to be obvious physical threats come the merge. None of us standing right here are going to beat them in physical individual challenges. All we have on our side is Vector, but the other tribe is going to realize that if they prove to be strong in individual challenges, they should be two of the first to go and we're already down in numbers. Aligning with them serves no real purpose."
At least from her perspective. Shovel had the ability to think differently.
"They are both pretty smart, too."
"Wow..." Yoshi blinked. "I mean, they sure are, but... that and they're great big huge guys? They should be the biggest threats to win right now!"
"Both sides need me as their final member of their own version of a four person alliance. Zelda and I didn't have too big of a relationship, but we still share the same season and we both made top five together, and we actually became friends outside of the game. Meta and I are obviously quite similar, and even though I may not have known him as much, I've managed to start growing a friendship with him and part of me wants to continue with that. And also, he knows that with the strategic side of Survivor, I am rather struggling with. He could be a good teacher in case I need a few pointers. Bottom line is whatever side I choose to go with, it should counter both pairs of Vector and Yoshi, and Golden and DK."
"Survivor reminds me of a simple game of chess of some sort, which itself is a critical thinking kind of game, and I am having one of those moments right now. This swing vote thing is absolutely new to me. However, one of my main goals out here is to try and figure out how to play this game in a more strategical way. It was definitely something I was rather lacking, so hopefully I'll be able to explore the strategic aspect of the game even more in this season. That is, if I manage to make it long enough to know..."
Very interesting...
Perhaps something was going to go down with the Heroes camp rather soon.
Day 12
"Come on in!"
Once again, the red team entered the challenge area first. And with literally the entire tribe looking at the challenge, it already confirmed whatever thoughts they had in their minds at the time. They might have been correct.
"Villains, get your first look at the new Hero tribe... Sonic voted out at the last Tribal Council."
"Well, that's that..." Springtrap was not surprised at all.
And neither was Shadow. "Didn't expect anything less..."
"That's right." Master Hand 'nodded'. "With Sonic not in the game in the more, we have no more winners left. This could mean that things might get ugly from here on out... You guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?"
"Yes!"
"Yup!"
"Come on!"
"Ready for it!"
"First things first, Villains, you already know the routine. Give it here." The master curled up his fingers motioning somebody from the red team to come his way.
...
...Nobody moved.
"...Alright." It appeared he had no choice but to do it the hard way by... floating over to the team rather than someone from the team walking to him. "I'll just take it from you, then."
"We still need it..." Plague Knight blinked, watching the hand leave with the immunity idol he took from Bowser.
"Win again... Well, I could say that. But,..." Everyone watched as he put the immunity idol down on the ground. "Today, we are going to do things a little different... Caribbean people, this is deja vu for you all. ...No matter what the results of today's challenge, both tribes will be attending Tribal Council tonight."
"Oh..."
"Knew it..."
"Damn..."
"There goes our winning streak."
"This hand must be joking..."
Master Hand paid attention to Ridley's reaction out of everyone in front of him. "Ridley... Back to back seasons, and you're once again shaking your head in disgust."
"I still don't like it..." He said with the most sarcastic grin. "I still don't like it... I think in every challenge there should always be a winner, and if a team loses a challenge, that's on them. Winners can't be punished for winning. It doesn't make sense."
"I got your point, but today there isn't going to be a winner."
Ooh. Got him.
"Here is how this challenge is going to work. We will do rock, paper, scissors, in order to determine which team goes first as everyone on that team will be competing against each other for individual immunity." Once Master Hand placed an individual immunity necklace on its hook, the dream team previewed a brief demonstration of how the challenge was supposed to work. "Then on my go, you will have to maneuver through a series of rope through an obstacle. You have to go over, under, any way you can in order to reach the end. First person finishes wins individual immunity, and then the next team will be set to go."
"Whoever wins that also gets individual immunity." The host placed another individual immunity necklace on there, rain starting to fall from the sky. Great. Now things were going to get wet. "Afterwards we will move on to the final round for a showdown. The winner of that challenge will win pizza for their tribe."
! !
Now that was a reward definitely worth playing for, as the crowd was in quite an uproar upon hearing that.
"As you dive in on pizza and soft drinks, that team will listen in on the other tribe's Tribal Council. But at the end of the day, since this is a double elimination, both tribes will be sending somebody home, you do not want it to be you tonight."
"One important thing to note." Time to bring on the history. "This challenge was done in the most recent season, Survivor - Caribbean, so this challenge is something Ridley, Meta Knight, Vector, Springtrap, and Yoshi are all familiar with. Vector won the individual immunity necklace and he won the ultimate showdown earning the reward for his tribe which included Meta Knight and Ridley. We'll see how things play out today. We will do the rock, paper, scissors, and we'll get started."
-/-
It was now raining even harder.
"Okay. The Villains won the rock, paper, scissor, so they will be the ones going first." Master Hand announced, the red team all being hooked onto a rope from their waist line at the challenge's starting point. "Whoever wins immunity will be moving onto the final round. Survivors ready? ...GO!"
Music: Star Wolf - Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Bowser, Shadow, Specter Knight, Sheik, Wolf, Foxy, Springtrap, Ryu, Plague Knight, and Ridley all went straight to work as the Heroes all watched from the sit out bench patiently waiting for their turn.
"For the first time in Survivor history, we have an entire tribe competing for individual immunity. Nobody from the Villains tribe has ever been to Tribal Council but that is guaranteed to change tonight! Who's going to win that first immunity?"
Any bets or predictions?
The competitors were seeing climbing over, ducking under, and going through the set of bars with the piece of rope they were attached to. Wherever the rope went, the castaways had to follow. The main people that knew what they were doing were acting as if they were dancing with the rope in the rain... Hahahahaha!
"Right now, Shadow, Sheik, Springtrap, Foxy, Ryu, and Ridley are all currently leading. Wolf, Bowser, and Specter Knight trying to learn how this challenge works but they're in it. Plague Knight desperately scrambling to avoid falling out of this challenge early."
Poor Plague. He was struggling yes, but still a fighter, knowing he was not one of the most physical people of the cast.
"Maybe I'll be the first person to win the same individual immunity challenge twice." Vector joked, earning him a playful punch from Donkey Kong and a laugh from Zelda.
Vector sort of deserved that punch, though. Already cocky and his team was not even competing at the time. Come on.
The leaders of the challenge were making it seem like it was a professional sport they perform all the time at home. Speaking of the challenge frontrunners, Foxy was starting to slip up a little, yet the other five in the lead stayed consistent.
"Immunity and pizza are on the line! But right now immunity is being focused on first! Just a single immunity necklace could save you from being blindsided at Tribal Council!"
No truer words were spoken. Bowser was supposed to be taken out at ten in his season, but he won immunity. Incineroar was supposed to be taken out at nine in his season,... but he won immunity.
Overall, the necklace was a literal life vest.
"Plague Knight slowly falling out of it..." Master Hand made sure he kept everyone up to date of how their favorite castaways were doing. "Bowser slowing down growing frustrated."
"Damn it, come on!"
If only he was not having such a hard time avoiding constantly getting tangled in the ropes...
"Wolf and Specter are starting to figure it out. Foxy is still in this. Sheik, Springtrap, and Shadow are in the lead. Ryu and Ridley are right behind."
"Come on, now." Ridley complained, having to stop a little every so often to make sure he was not all tangled up like Bowser was. "Not again..."
"You'll come out of this challenge feeling exhausted and dizzy."
And muddy, too, given that mother nature was an added obstacle to the mix in spite of it being the least of their problems. ...But, okay. But Master Hand should have warned the castaways about that before the challenge began. He was late on purpose.
"People are getting ready to move onto the second section. No bars. Nothing but rope at this point!"
Almost time to determine the winner. People were moving fast.
"...Shadow's going to be the first to move onto the second section. Springtrap moving onto the second section! Sheik moving onto the second section!"
The trio of front runners were doing such a great job. Though inside, they were most likely panicking, hoping to be able to get that immunity. ...Wait a minute,... Sheik was part of the three that were in the lead? ...What did that mean for Specter and Plague if she won?
"Ryu's at the second section! Ridley's at the second section!"
They had a low chance of catching the other three, but unlikely did not mean impossible.
Yet it was definitely impossible for Wolf and Foxy upon them reaching the final section, since by the time they got there, somebody already clapped their hand against the top of the finishing post.
"SPRINGTRAP WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"
"Yes, yes, YESSS!" He pumped both his fists in the air with his head up to the sky. "FINALLY!"
Sheik remained in her spot trying to get herself together, while Shadow was too busy pouting to himself and shaking his head. No immunity for him today. Sorry, Shadow fans...
"Good job, Springtrap." Vector complimented from the sit out bench.
"Well done." nodded Meta Knight.
"Come over here, Springtrap." Master Hand motioned the rabbit. "You are going to be safe at Tribal Council."
"My very first immunity! Finally..." He felt certainly proud, smiling hard in the rain.
"You will not be voted off tonight. But your work is not done here quite yet. Whoever wins from the Heroes tribe will be competing against you in the final. For now, you and the rest of your tribe can sit out on the bench. Heroes, we'll get you hooked up. Let's go."
No need to rush...
On a side note,... Bowser... and Plague Knight. Seriously. The two of them needed to clean up. Getting dirty all over a simple immunity necklace.

Still raining.
"Alright. Now it's the Villains to turn to watch as the Heroes will be fighting for individual immunity. Survivors ready? ...GO!"
Music: Attack (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Game: Fire Emblem
Zelda, Meta Knight, Vector, Shovel Knight, Golden, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong went right to work, hoping they learned a few pointers from watching the Villains.
"Springtrap just won individual immunity for the Villains tribe, and he has already done this challenge in the Caribbean. Could this possibly mean that Vector, Yoshi, and Meta Knight are in the running today?"
And like the croc said himself, he literally won the challenge and the final round against his reptile runaway buddy, Charizard.
Unsurprisingly enough, Zelda was out of the gate struggling. Shovel was doing a decent job with the ropes, yet his fatal flaw was that he was not moving as fast as his competitors who were all flying right through the course as if it was a training exercise.
"Meta Knight, Vector, Golden, Yoshi, Donkey Kong all being pros at this!"
All of the Caribbean characters on the Heroes tribe had the biggest advantage even with the extra bonus of probably getting a refresher from watching their opponents compete first.
Yet it did not mean that everybody else was out of it, though. Golden and Donkey Kong were doing great as well.
"I wonder who my opponent's gonna be..." Springtrap mumbled under his breath.
"Be prepared if it's Vector." Ryu told him. "At least you'd know what to expect since you watched him go against Charizard."
"Zelda quickly falling behind..."
She usually never panicked and always kept her composure, but frustration was dead set on her face.
Shovel Knight was not giving up either, but even he knew at that point he needed to pick it up.
"Meta Knight, Vector, and Donkey Kong are starting to pull away now! Everybody else needs to pick it up!" Master Hand hollered in the rain. "This could be your one opportunity to win immunity this whole season and could save your life in this game!"
That was right. When it came to winning individual immunity, it was not a situation where everyone was a winner. Only one necklace per team, and the entire Villains tribe had to fight for it.
"Vector and Donkey Kong are both in the lead with Meta Knight dead on them. Yoshi and Golden trying to pick it up. Shovel Knight's moving more quickly."
Now since Golden and DK were the two biggest guys on the tribe, they had the potential to struggle or slow down like Ridley at some point, and Golden was being careful the entire time, but due to his size, he needed to make sure he was going through the bars properly with the rope.
Donkey Kong, however, found little to no trouble with it, and so his biggest competition was with Vector and Meta Knight, the two Caribbean people.
Yoshi was doing the best he could have, but people were simply even better than him.
"Vector now moving onto the second section! Donkey Kong onto the second section! Here comes Meta Knight!"
Crunch time now.
"One of these people will be going against Springtrap in the final round."
The rabbit himself was having rather mixed emotions depending on who was set to go up against.
"Yoshi now moving onto the second section. Golden moving onto the second section! Zelda's out of it. Shovel Knight might be a little too late."
That was two people written off...
"Vector and Donkey Kong are getting closer to the end! Who's gonna get there first?"
...
"DONKEY KONG WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"
"URGH!" His masculine tough guy groan came with the rapid beating on his chest, gorilla style.
Springtrap slowly slid his now soaked hand down his face. "Alright, then. Wish me luck, guys..."
"Sorry I had to beat you on this, Vec..." DK held a friendly hand out to help Vector stand.
"Don't be sorry. I've won this before and this is your first immunity. Nice job." He gave a kind slap on the back. "Now you gotta win us pizza."
"Will do."
"Come here, DK." Master Hand called him over to make him the king of his tribe for the day. "Like Springtrap, this is your first individual immunity win."
No, wait a minute...
#KingoftheJungle
Literally!
"You are safe at Tribal Council, cannot be voted out, and you have a one in fifteen shot at winning this game. No need to worry about your name coming up tonight."
"Nope!" He shook smiling.
"You will be going against Springtrap in the final round, first place finisher gets the reward. Springtrap, come on up." The host motioned the FNAF character to get ready. "We need to move you two to the showdown. One on one."
Just like in Super Smash.

"Alright, here we are at the showdown."
For the final round of the challenge, the two castaways still needed to use a rope as a guide, but the challenge was that instead of a couple bars people needed to get through, it was now basically an entire cage with multiple levels.
And in the previous season, Vector and Charizard were going upside down and twirling their bodies all over the place, so that was to be expected that day.
"You both have already won individual immunity, but whoever wins this gets reward for your tribe. All the pressure is on you."
...There was no need to rub it in...
"Here we go. Final round. Survivors ready?" Master Hand raised his hand in the air for the third and final time. "...GO!"
Music: Meta Knight's Revenge (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Game: Kirby Super Star Ultra
"Let's go, Springtrap!"
"Come on, DK!"
Players from both teams began cheering immediately, both guys wasting no time at all, already throwing their bodies over. Did it look dangerous? Of course, especially when they eventually got to the higher levels. Yet as long as they landed feet first, there were going to be no casualties that could have resulted in Master Hand facing a lawsuit.
"We have Donkey Kong from the Heroes taking on Springtrap from the Villains. Both of them have won their first individual immunity necklace, now they're fighting to win food for their tribe."
"We've had four challenges before this, including the marooning. Villains have not lost one challenge, Heroes have not won a challenge. But today, both tribes will be going to Tribal Council." The hand reminded. "Though the least these two could do is to win this reward. Perhaps DK could hopefully give back some tribe morale for his team, or Springtrap could take this home like it's nothing."
DK was already having a slight lead over Springtrap as they began to climb their way up, yet Davis knew he had to try his best to keep up. He really did not wish to compete with Vector, since he had the advantage of actually winning the challenge, but as Ryu stated, he was somebody he could have mentally prepared for.
Donkey Kong on the other hand was someone who he really had no wish to compete against. This whole thing was a climbing challenge... a climbing challenge... DK knew how to climb, right?
Was that not the biggest life skill for an ape like him? Yeah. Quite a disadvantage for Springtrap.
Though he was not going to give up automatically like that.
"Go get him, Springy. You ain't got a second to lose!" Bowser shouted from the bench.
"You got this, DK. This is your challenge today!" Shovel Knight spoke from the Heroes team. Even they felt like DK was already the winner.
Great! More pressure for Springtrap!
Now they were at the very top of the cage. Things were starting to look scary.
"Donkey Kong's in the lead right now, but Springtrap is keeping him on his toes. He could still win this."
Both men were certainly going to get some bruises competing with each other like this.
Starting to come back down, Donkey Kong felt that he needed to get as much distance from Springtrap as possible. There were no intentions on his end regarding loosing his lead.
"You still got this, Springtrap!"
"You're doing good, Donkey Kong. Don't worry about him!"
"Donkey Kong's nearing the end of the challenge. Springtrap's gotta move!"
"Push it, Springy! Push it!"
"Wherever that rope leads, you gotta follow it!"
They only needed to throw themselves up and over the bars a few more times and the challenge was finished.
Springtrap really fought hard all the while, yet unfortunately due to Donkey Kong's life experience, it proved to be the main cause of him winning with a pretty solid lead over his competitor by about six seconds.
"DONKEY KONG WINS REWARD!"
"Wooo!"
"You did it, man!"
"Great work!"
"Ugh..." Springtrap got himself down to the bottom of the cage, taking his time making his way over to DK offering a hand.
"Okay... I'm done..." DK spoke out of exhaustion gladly taking the rabbit's offer. "You weren't that bad..."
"Maybe when I go to Kongo Jungle I'll hopefully receive some climbing lessons..."
"Twenty banana coins an hour."
Hahahaha!

"Alright, so here's how this is gonna work." Master Hand got everybody together on the sit out benches. "Heroes, you will go to your Tribal Council first where Donkey Kong has immunity, can not be voted out of this game. After you complete your Tribal Council, we will then move you guys over to allow the Villains to come on as you listen in on their Tribal Council while feasting on pizza and having soft drinks. Springtrap will have the immunity necklace on, he cannot be eliminated. By the time this day is up, we're going to have fifteen people left in this game. Both tribes can head out back to their camps and I'll see everyone tonight."
"So we're finally going to Tribal Council and it seems like the three targets on the table are Specter, Plague, and Sheik. But the thing is Specter and Foxy know that they're allies are on the line and they want to save their closest alliances to make sure they are in a better position for the run." Ryu figured. "And for me, Plague or Specter is the obvious choice, but the fact that at least one other person is considering on voting with Specter can cause other people to hop on his side... And that really scares me. This could mean that Plague and Specter might not get the majority of the votes today... If Specter is actually going to get away with this, if people don't wake up soon, he might end up being my demise again just like how he got rid of me in Mexico..."
Okay, so the double elimination is indeed happening, two people will be going home... in chapter 14. Chapter 13 is going to take place of the pre-tribal for both camps and the boots will follow afterwards... Predictions anyone? Thoughts of what was going on before this challenge?
And also, I feel for Springtrap... Donkey Kong had this one... Lol!
I encourage everyone to review as usual.
