A/N: A lot of you keep on asking me to have Pacifica Northwest be with Dipper. I ship them too, but not in this fic. It's all Zim, so kindly stop telling me to write it this story otherwise.
This is also just a small chapter. Just something to sate your curiosity. Hope you enjoy.
Maggie was running for her life through an endless corridor of lights and alien technology, her clothes torn and barely hanging onto her body. She glanced over her shoulder and saw a figure approaching, making her eyes widen in fear and pushing her already exhausted legs to the limit.
"Maaaaggiiiiiiiie~" the figure sang.
"Go away! Leave me alone!" she begged, tears in her eyes as she continued to run. She would've kept on running if something hadn't grabbed her ankle and made her trip. She looked to see wires had burst from the ground and wrapped around her ankle and were quickly spreading up her leg. She screamed as more wires burst from the walls and wrapped around all of her limbs before holding her in the air, leaving her at the mercy of the figure walking towards her.
A short and very familiar figure.
"Z-Zim?!" Maggie yelped when Zim stepped into the light. He looked the same as she'd last seen him but was now sporting a bleeding gash in his stomach.
"Did you really think this would be enough to kill me? Enough to save you from me?" he asked as he held up a blood stained knife. Maggie's eyes widened at the sight of it, making Zim grin. "I see you recognize this weapon. It's the same one you used on me." he explained as he lifted his shirt, showing the wound that was still bleeding before it closed almost instantly. "Do you know how much that hurt? Well, I'll tell you." he said as he ripped Maggie's shirt off, revealing everything from the waist up and making Maggie gasp and blush. "It hurt so much more...than this."
Maggie was quickly gagged with more wires as Zim began to make light cuts on her stomach, making her scream in pain as she bled.
"A little here, a little there...and done." he said as he stepped back to see his name now carved onto her stomach. "When that scars, it'll show the world that you're mine now."
"No! I'm not yours! I'm not gonna be a little baby making machine like those other women!" Maggie yelled in defiance.
"Hehehe. You don't realize that you have no choice in the matter, do you Maggie? Maggie?" Zim said before he started to repeat her name.
"Shut up! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" Maggie screamed.
"MAGGIE! WAKE UP!"
Maggie's eyes flew open and she quickly sat up from the bed, only to fall back after smashing her head against something.
"Ow!" both her and another person said at the same time. She rubbed the spot on her head as she looked up to see...
"LUAN?!" Maggie yelped in shock as she looked at her best friend. Sitting on the bed was a woman with long brown hair, a yellow t-shirt that fit around a large pair of breasts, white pants that hugged her curves and brown shoes. "What are you doing here in my house?!"
"First off, this isn't your house." Luan said. "Second, try to stay calm and look around. And third, be careful with your oxygen mask."
"Mask?" Maggie asked before feeling the oxygen mask still connected to her face. She then looked around to see that she was in small but cozy looking room, a few vital monitors that she was hooked up to next to her bed. "What-" she began before taking the mask off. "What is this? Where am I?"
"It's called the Mystery Shack." Lisa answered as she stepped inside the room. "And it appears that Maggie has regained consciousness. Looks like I won't be needing the counteragent to the tranquilizer then."
"Mystery Shack? Tranquilizer?" Maggie repeated in confusion before shaking her head. "Wait wait wait wait. Back up. What is going on?!"
"All your questions will be answered. However, you need to calm down. Think about where you last were and what you were doing." Lisa ordered.
"I was...what was I doing?" Maggie asked herself before she started to think about the past week.
Meeting Zim. Finding out he's an alien. His mission.
Maggie shuddered at those memories before speaking.
"I...remember meeting Zim and finding out he's an-" she began before seeing Luan. "A...A..."
"It's okay. I know he's an alien." Luan said, making Maggie balk at her.
"What?! When?!" Maggie yelped.
"A couple of hours ago." Luan answered before chuckling. "Don't know what shocked me more. Hearing about aliens being real or meeting my sisters at the Gravity Falls Civic Center and Buffet."
"What's Gravity Falls?" Maggie asked.
"Later. You still need to remember a few things." Lisa said in a neutral tone.
"Uh...right." Maggie said before she collected her thoughts.
Went to Lisa's bunker. Begged to have mind wiped. Felt tired. Kept going there the next few days. Drank coffee. Drank a lot of coffee. Stabbed Zim with a kni-
Maggie's eyes flew open as her thoughts came to a screeching halt.
"I...remember stabbing Zim...then I went to you because he didn't die...then you showed me that memory gun...I destroyed it...and I took the knife..." Maggie trailed off as her breathing started to get heavier, a look of horror and guilt coming to her face. "What did I do?" she whispered while grasping her face with her hands.
"Luckily, nothing. I stopped you and knocked you out with a tranquilizer before you could escalate things further." Lisa explained before crossing her arms and glaring at her. "Now, I believe you owe me and everyone else an apology."
"An apology? For what?" Maggie asked.
"Maggie." Luan spoke up with a frown of her own. "I believe she's referring to a few insults you threw at her, my sister and their friends while you were going bonkers."
"What'd I...oooooh." Maggie trailed off as the memories came back. She gave a nervous chuckle and twiddled her fingers together as the two Loud sisters glared at her. She finally wilted and looked away, only to have Luan cup her chin and slowly tilt her head back to meet them in the eyes.
"Well?" Lisa said as her glare intensified.
"...sorry for calling you whores." Maggie spoke loud enough for them to hear.
"Good enough." Lisa sighed before calming down. "Now, you have more questions I assume?"
"Yes. What's Gravity Falls? What's the Mystery Shack? And why are you here, Luan?" Maggie listed off.
"Well I'm here because, as luck would have it, my comedy tour's final stop is the Gravity Falls Civic Center and Buffet." Luan explained. "But as to why I'm here at this very spot? Lisa and the others called me and asked why you would flip out and keep yourself awake when aliens are involved." Luan continued before looking guilty. "I...I told them the truth. I'm sorry, but it was the only way to keep those who were holding a grudge from pressing charges against you."
"Told them what?" Maggie asked.
"That you suffer from a severe case of astrophobia." Lisa answered.
"Astro-what-now?" Maggie said in confusion.
"Fear of aliens." Lisa deadpanned.
"WHAT?!" Maggie yelped before glaring at Luan. "You promised to never tell anyone!"
"I know, but it was an emergency!" Luan apologized while Maggie groaned and shoved her pillow over her face.
"This is embarrassing." Maggie moaned as her face burned red.
"Normally it would be because many people around the world do not believe in aliens and would most likely make fun of you because of your phobia to them." said Lisa.
"Don't rub it in." Maggie said while peeking out at Lisa before she spoke some more. "Where exactly are we anyway? You said it was the Mystery Shack. What is that?"
"It's a little tourist trap run by a friend of Gaz's friend." Lisa answered. "I believe the owner goes by the name of Soos."
"And this place called Gravity Falls...where is it?" Maggie asked after a moment of hesitation.
"It's a little town in Oregon." Lisa answered.
"Oregon? As in the state Oregon!? AS IN WE'RE NOT IN MICHIGAN ANYMORE?!" Maggie yelled. "HOW'D WE GET HERE?! HOW LONG WAS I SLEEPING!?"
"Maggie! Maggie, calm down!" Luan quickly said while grabbing hold of Maggie's shoulders. Sadly, Maggie's mind had fallen into a full blown panic-
SLAP!
-before a hand smacked her across the face, stunning her into silence.
"I didn't want to have to do that and please don't make me do it again." Luan told her as she lowered her hand.
"That hurt." Maggie whined as she rubbed her red cheek before sighing. "But...thanks. I needed that."
"Any time." Luan said with a smile.
"As to your questions, we are indeed in Oregon." Lisa began. "We got here because Zim and the others flew us here in a spaceship. As for how long you've been sleeping? I'd estimate it roughly around 53 hours."
"You mean I've been asleep for over two days?!" Maggie asked in shock.
"After going around five days on nothing but coffee? It'd be more suprising if you didn't need more sleep." Lisa answered.
"What...What's going to happen now?" Maggie asked, a touch of fear in her tone.
"It's alright, Maggie. No one's going to hurt you." Luan said in a calm tone while gently grabbing her shoulder. "They're just going to use a little device to zap away your memories of Zim is all."
"I think I remember that. The last bit of my memories feel all jumbled together." Maggie said before looking at Lisa. "Did I ask you to make something like that for me?"
"You begged me to, but then destroyed it in a fit of paranoid hysteria." Lisa answered before smiling. "While I'm upset about it, it may actually be a good thing. The device I made may have had some...very horrible drawbacks."
"If that's true, how am I supposed to forget?" Maggie asked in dread.
"That's why we came to Gravity Falls. There is...was someone here who made the original device I based my failed prototype on." Lisa explained. "The bad news is that the original inventor recently passed away, so we can't ask him for a new one. The good news is that his old friend has come to town to pay his respects and, as an inventor himself, may either have a spare or can help build a new one."
"That's great. Where is he?" Maggie asked, her tone sounding hopeful.
"He's downstairs, but don't be in a hurry. The man just lost his best friend so he may not be in a mood to help you." Luan answered.
"Sorry, but I don't want to risk going through another week of being scared for my life." Maggie said as she stood up off the bed. "I'm going to talk to-whoa whoa!" Maggie yelped when her legs suddenly gave out. She'd have fallen flat onto the floor if Luan and Lisa hadn't caught her and helped her back onto the bed. "What's going on?...I feel really weak."
"I'd feel weak too if I went two days sleeping." said Luan. "You just need some food and to take it easy." The three women blinked as a roaring rumble filled the room before Maggie blushed. "Looks like your stomach agrees with me." Luan chuckled.
"And I agree with the both of you. I'm starving." Maggie said while holding her stomach. "I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse."
"With cart?" Luan asked with a grin before chuckling when Maggie lightly shoved her. "But seriously, let's get some food in you."
"I'll go tell Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez that you're awake and ask if I can use their kitchen to make you something." Lisa said as she headed for the door, only to step back when it was gently pushed open by an old hispanic woman.
"Hello." she greeted with a smile as she brought in a small tray in her hands, a bowl with steam coming from it and a glass of water on the tray. "I had heard some commotion and thought your sleeping friend had awoken, so I made some soup." she said as she set the tray next to Maggie. The moment the aroma hit Maggie's nose, her mouth began to water and her stomach roared. She wasn't even aware of anything else except for the soup was no longer in the bowl.
"What happened?" Maggie asked. "Where's the soup?"
"You ate it all." Luan said with a smile. "You ate it so fast I thought you were gonna eat your spoon too."
"Oh...oops." Maggie chuckled before licking her lips. "That was delicious."
"I am glad you liked it. I go get more." said the old woman, leaving before the others could object.
"Who was that anyway?" Maggie asked.
"That was the owner's grandmother. Everyone calls her Abuelita." Lisa explained. "Well, I'm off for now. I'm going to explore the town a bit. The others are all out and about as well. I'll leave you two alone." she said as she exited the room, only to stick her head back in a second later. "Also, keep an eye out for Lily. She disappeared the moment we all got out of Tal and we haven't seen her since."
"Can do." Luan said before Lisa finally left, leaving her and Maggie the only one's inside the room. There were quiet for a moment before Luan spread her arms, inviting Maggie for a hug, which she accepted. "Feel better?"
"Much." Maggie nodded after they separated before sighing. "I just...it all feels so...strange. I mean...aliens!"
"I know. I was beyond shocked when they told me a few hours ago." Luan admitted. "Even wondered if my sisters were right in the head after telling me that they...you know, with Zim."
"And what about you?" Maggie asked. "Aren't you freaked out about all this?!"
"I won't deny that I am weirded out." Luan said before a small smile came to her face. "But after hearing what they've done for Royal Woods, for all the other places they've visited, I can't bring myself to hate Zim."
"Even knowing why your sisters and those other women are with Zim?!" Maggie asked.
"It's their decision and their lives. They want to travel around with a little green alien and give birth to his kids, it's their choice." Luan said before she rubbed her temples. "And I can't believe I just said all that in seriousness."
"But...what if something happens to them?" Maggie asked. "The babies could eat them from the inside out. Or they could take over their bodies like parasites! Or they could-"
"Or they could just be born like ordinary humans." Luan interrupted. "And after that, they could grow up to be great people doing amazing things." she finished.
"Uh...well...maybe." Maggie admitted, making Luan chuckle.
"See? Just as there are many bad things that could happen, there are also many good things that could equally happen." Luan said as Abuelita came in with another bowl of soup.
"Here you are. Enjoy." she said as she gave Maggie the soup before leaving the room again. Maggie ate the soup slowly this time to truly savor the flavor before it too was gone, leaving her full and content.
"Now that you're full, feel like trying to stand again?" Luan asked.
"Yes. I need to take a walk." Maggie said with a nod.
"That's not all you need. I didn't say it before, but..." Luan said before holding her nose and waving a hand in front of her smiling face. "Pee yew."
"Rude!" Maggie said in offense...before taking a sniff of her one of her pits and gagging. "In my defense, I may have thought Zim might attack me in my shower."
"Understandable. Still, you need a shower." Luan repeated before standing up and offering Maggie her hand. "Let's go." Maggie looked at the hand before smiling at Luan and taking it.
"Yeah."
