Ziva set aside the phone before stepping back in the kitchen where Jethro and Nico remained working on breakfast. "Harith has been spotted in Largo, though I cannot say why he would be there."
Nico nodded, "I received the same phone call before you were awake". He waited for her anger, some accusation instead, she bit her lip before glancing to Jethro.
"I think it's a smokescreen." Gibbs almost laughed at the way she looked at him. "It has been a long time since everything t happened with Harith. Why now? Why would he choose now when you are so visible so much more protected than you've ever been. Working for NCIS has its risk but it also has its protections."
Ziva sat the table as Jethro placed their plates on the table. "But my source…" she shook her head as she tried to believe she could have been lied to.
"I would ask was the information relayed to your source or was it information they discovered themselves." This question came from Nico as though he had heard the thoughts Gibbs wanted to ask.
Ziva shook her head, "Something that was relayed." She ignored her breakfast, her stomach rolling in confusion. "But why?"
Nico spoke his mind having already worked on what Gibbs had begun to say. "Who else, has shown up in your life recently Ziva?"
"Marcus, but he is nothing to me." but then her eyes met theirs "And Eli."
Gibbs sighed. "For some reason he wants you back in Israel, perhaps he thought that by creating a sense of danger here he would drive you back home."
Ziva started laughing; she couldn't help it the idea of running to her father for help was beyond humorous. "This is something he would do but he is more mistaken than he could imagine." She turned to look at Nico directly. "It would explain why he seemed annoyed by you."
Gibbs raised an eyebrow at them both. "What did I miss?"
"I introduced Nico as more than a bodyguard. I could not bring myself to lie about it."
"Good I wouldn't want you to either." He glanced at her untouched plate. "You will eat Ziva. I have arranged the day off and this is not our weekend on call. You will not leave this house until Monday Ziva unless given specific permission to do so."
Ziva bit back the urge to argue, she didn't want to eat, and more than that she felt the need to confront her father, which, was likely why Gibbs had made such a rule. It took her longer than she would have liked to voice her agreement and finally begin eating.
No more than an hour later and Nico mirrored Gibbs' actions as they moved into the living room. The shades were drawn, doors locked as much privacy as possible had been afforded. "When did you suspect?"
"It was too neat too tidy, yet the threats were too random. We will still be cautious of course but I really believe the threat is just Eli playing games. He didn't mention the threat even once, by now he would have heard of the possibility and yet not a word. On the surface it would seem innocent enough."
"But, more likely, the act of a man feeling guilt, or his version of guilt. " Nico watched Jethro nod then glanced toward the kitchen before lowering his voice. "And if I may ask do you know if there is a baby yet?"
He caught the shake of Gibbs' head. "You can ask anything you want Nico. As strange as it is to me, I have yet to find something that makes me uncomfortable between all of us. As for a baby I don't know. She hasn't said yet, and I haven't wanted to push. I will give her till Sunday to bring up the subject and then I will."
"I wasn't pushing Gibbs, just asking."
"I know that." The silence became somewhat uncomfortable and Gibbs knew part of it was his thoughts returning to the night before.
"If you are upset with me Jethro because of last night we should discuss it." Nico watched Ziva step into the room her posture perfect.
"Speak Ziva."
"I would like to take a shower, please."
"And If I say no?" Gibbs watched her face.
"Then I will do as you request."
"You may shower Ziva, you may wear whatever you wish. No make-up and no shoes and your phone will remain in the office for the rest of the weekend." Her hand clenched tightly on the electronic in question, he saw the urge to argue as it rushed at her. He gave her nothing just waited for her response, despite the urge to tell her it didn't really matter.
Ziva felt overwhelmed. Too much truth had been thrown at her in the past few days. She relied on information, knowing what was happening around her as much as possible. With her father in town that need was even stronger. But the urge to lock away everything was equally as strong. In the end she made the only choice she knew would take away the chaos. "Yes sir."
Gibbs watched her walk up the stairs only when she was gone did he turn back to Nico. "I'm not upset with you Nico. Just out of my comfort zone. We discussed this years ago but it was different in reality. Especially knowing…" Despite the early hour Gibbs almost wanted a drink.
"Because, I've been intimate with men?" Nico sat down waiting until Gibbs did the same. "Doesn't mean I assume you are suddenly interested Gibbs. But by the same token neither do I want either of us to be so ridged that we …"
Gibbs felt the hint of shame, the need to hide everything in his head. The irony is he knew this is how Ziva must sometimes feel. "I am not upset, or angry or disgusted Nico, that said I don't know how I feel other than that."
Nico nodded. "That's enough and how it should be. It wasn't meant to be an introduction for us to be intimate more a reminder that as the lines blur between the three of us, it will happen. Not to mention she is not one to be ignored. The moment…"
Gibbs laughed. "Ignoring Ziva has never been an option. " For a while they remained in silence until she came down the stairs and he was startled by her appearance. The soft blue dress was more feminine than anything he'd seen her in before. Soft fabric, lace and delicate ribbon adorned the fine fabric. She'd left her hair loose curling softly around her shoulders. "I would have expected armor Ziva. But you are beautiful like this."
Ziva blushed. Her eyes cast down at the floor resisting the urge to step forward and touch him. "Here I need no armor."
Gibbs smiled at that. "Look at me Ziva." Her eyes hit his so full of desire he was almost startled. "This weekend I will expect you to do whatever I ask. Even if we should leave our home, I will ensure we do not go anywhere that would be likely to risk us running into anyone we know, but as you do here you will obey." It pushed the very limits of the rules they'd discussed but didn't quite break them.
"I will always choose to be what you need Jethro." She saw him almost frown and smiled herself. "Because it is what brings me contentment. I find comfort in being yours. As I have said before I choose to be yours in all ways Jethro. Whatever you need that is what I am to you."
Gibbs didn't want to break the moment but he had to be certain. "And all that is happening outside these walls?"
"I trust that you know the woman I am, what I need. I am safe in the knowledge I can protect myself and that you, both of you would protect me as well." She let her eyes find Nico. "That is all the assurance I need."
Gibbs felt the heady rush of triumph in his chest. Reaching forward he touched the collar that encircled her neck. Wrapping his fingers around the fine metal his knuckles brushed the skin of her neck snug against the rapid beat of her pulse. "You will kneel Ziva and you will remain that way without speaking until I instruct you otherwise. It may be minutes or hours until I allow you to move and still you will remain. Is this understood?"
Nico waited for the tell-tale lift of Ziva's chin. The sign that would give away any frustration or objection she had to Gibbs' demand. The harsh swallow against Gibbs' fingers almost belied the way her eyes fell to the floor. But the strength of the firmly uttered "Yes sir." Rang with clarity, in the stillness of the room.
Ziva chose to ignore the way her mind attempted to rebel and what Gibbs asked of her. It was nothing compared to what had been requested up till now. But this had been fiercely uttered, a mix of the voice she loved so well and a requirement that would allow no argument. Her rebellious nature almost won. Instead she found the position, reveling in the quiet that overtook her mind. Instead of the chaos of grief and confusion she'd expected the past few days to leave her with, she found the calm of the moment.
Positioned as she was, she felt Gibbs move about the room, heard him pour himself a drink even felt when both he and Nico seated themselves in the chairs nearest to her in the living room. With her eyes cast down she still recognized that Gibbs sat beside her. The two men spoke, filtering between the work of the day and casual subjects. It wasn't until she felt the slightest tug on her hair that she finally recognized her name. Her head snapped up almost certain she'd fallen asleep, when it registered that instead she had lost herself in the safety of the control Gibbs so masterfully asserted. It was equally disquieting and comforting.
Gibbs saw her eyes find him then look to Nico, the slide of a blush on her skin. "I need you Ziva" He watched her eyes flick to the clock surprise registered that it had been hours since she'd first kneeled beside him. Then the need he so loved filled her eyes. Still she remained as he'd asked. "We'll move upstairs now. Do whatever you need and then wait for us in our bedroom."
Ziva sat on the bed legs crossed waiting as Gibbs and Nico stepped into the room. "John called me earlier, when I took my phone in your office Jethro."
"This is our home Ziva but please continue." She smiled pausing long enough to watch him slip out of his shirt before continuing.
"The pictures are ready and he would like to deliver them this weekend. I told him I would speak with you before settling on a time."
"We will contact him tomorrow to set a time. For now though I would like to focus on us." She relished the approval she saw in his eyes as much as the way he continued removing his clothes. Nico mirrored his actions and soon she was the only one dressed. The covers had already been turned back and as they joined her on the bed she felt the shiver of air on her shoulders as her dress was stripped away.
She lay back against the cool sheets to find her wrists wrapped in slick fabric she didn't recognize. She could have looked up but she chose instead to revel in the mystery of not knowing. Her eyes fluttered closed as a mouth latched onto her hipbone. The unexpected nip of teeth had her sighing out a hiss of pleasure. She was on edge tonight and from the forceful push of hands at her body she knew she didn't need to give voice to that need. Instead she was able to let go even as she lay trapped against the bed of her choosing.
Freer then she'd ever been she felt hands at her thighs pulling her legs apart, demanding entrance as the soft strength of a cock at her lips plied her mouth apart. She could have opened her eyes at any point and known the exact reality of who was where. Instead she chose to lose herself in the slide of calloused hands and whispered words against skin and bone.
The slide of fingers inside her had curses slipping out on rough breaths as she felt pleasure fight with the urge to make the moment last longer. So close was she to falling over the edge of reason that she felt both skin and cotton under her nails. Hanging on while in the same moment giving over to loss of control she loved so much. With willful abandon she took the long slide of heavy male flesh in her throat. There was no objection as she tasted the essence of a man she now recognized as much as her own reflection in the mirror. But even as she gave into that pleasure another flooded over her when she felt the slow hard slide of another inside her. She knew who was who and yet it didn't matter in that moment as she gave over to the bliss of wantonness. What they demanded was easy. A pull of the restraints, a tug of her hair and the shout of her name in unison from two voices pulled from her an ecstasy so forceful she was left gasping for air and a sanity she knew was never to be found again.
She curled tightly against one of them while holding tightly to the other and if asked she couldn't have told you this time which was which, But it was clear as they wrapped around her it didn't matter.
In this moment there was no darkness. Her past had no hold on her here. Here in a place where her control was not her own she felt far more at peace than any of the corners of the Earth she had travelled. For a few gasping breaths she was lost in that thought before even that was lost to her, in a haze of comfort and sleep.
Gibbs heard Ziva rasp out a litany of "I love you's" that nearly broke him. She was wound tightly around Nico. But even as she drew close to the other man she held tightly to Gibbs' arm pulling him as close as their flesh could allow without once again being one. The words fell on them even as he drew the covers over their bodies. Her words chanted between them until they were lost to the sound of her softly breathing as she gave into sleep.
Nico looked to Gibbs still waiting for the reprimand that he was included in something so special. His belief in all that was good was finally cemented in the happiness he saw in the other man's eyes. The woman who held them so tight had brought them to a place that had waited decades and without regret he settled into it.
