Corwan laughed in response to their threat, saying, "Oh, we've only just begun." As he finished, a dark aura surrounded him, Mizar narrowing his eyes at the development. "He has yet to unleash his strongest weapon."
Asuka, betrayed by her former comrades and exiled from the path of the Shinobi, starts a new life in the small city of Usaka alongside her friend and former rival, Homura. Upon meeting a young man named Akiru Hirasu and his sister, Kotori, they are pulled into another world, where Akiru and Homura are revealed to be the heirs of two of this new world's leaders, the Barian Emperors. After reuniting with Kotori at the Dragon Sanctuary, Akiru and Homura confront their enemy as he approaches with the aid of the young man's father. This is their story...

A young man with brown hair landed on the ground as his Life Points hit zero, his opponent helping him up. "That was a good Duel, Ichiro." Ichiro got up and replied to his friend, "You've gotten really good yourself, Akiru. A person would have to be a dumbass to not recognize your skills." The young man laughed at his friend's remark, and the two looked toward the sunset, the brown-haired boy saying, "I'm gonna miss you, buddy." Akiru looked at his friend and asked, "You're going to Osaka, right?" Ichiro nodded. "Yeah, got a job there. When I'm settled in, I'll let you know, man." The blue-garbed young man nodded in appreciation.

The Rebel called out, "I know better than to attack with Crossroads Reaper, so I'll activate Emergency Xyz Change!" Akiru tilted his head in response. "That card I definitely haven't heard of." Mizar spoke up. "It's a Barian card." The young man nodded with an "Ah." Corwan announced, "I can use one Xyz monster I have to Summon a new Xyz monster from my Extra Deck, provided it's four Ranks or less higher! Using Crossroads Reaper, I rebuild the Overlay Network! Dark Xyz Evolution!" As he said this, Crossroads Reaper was enveloped into purple energy and launching skyward, before plummeting into a dark-looking portal.
With a mad laugh, the Rebel called out, "Master of the Netherworld cloaked in shadow, reveal yourself and spread fear! Rise, Galaxy-Eyes Pulsar Dragon!" Akiru and Mizar's eyes widened as out of the portal rose a dragon with dark purple wings, and dark energy enveloping its body, letting out a horrifying roar.

Mizar growled in anger. "Only myself and Akiru can command those dragons. Anyone else will suffer side effects!" Corwan insanely shouted out, "I will show you true power!" The young man remarked, "He's gone crazy!" Corwan called out, "I activate the abiltiy of Galaxy-Eyes Pulsar Dragon! By using one Overlay Unit, I can Summon back any monster from any of our graveyards! Come forth, Dark Blade, in Defense Mode!"

Homura commented, "I guess with three Numbers, it makes sense putting it in Defense Mode." Corwan grinned and said, "I activate my next card, "Pulsar Eruption! By sacrificing a monster I control, I can inflict damage equal to its Attack Points to one of my opponents, such as Mizar!" As Dark Blade exploded in purple fire, some of it hit Mizar, who barely reacted to it.

Continuing, Corwan said, "However, the next time I Special Summon a monster, I take damage equal to that monster's Attack Points. However, I can afford it! Using Galaxy-Eyes Pulsar Dragon, I rebuild the Overlay Network!" Both newborn Barians stared in shock. "Again?!" Laughing madly, the Rebel called out as his monster flew into the sky in purple energy, "Master of the shadows imprisoned within them, awaken and unleash your might!" As he said this, a galaxy portal opened in front of him, getting Akiru's attention. "He has a Number?"

The madman loudly declared, "Appear, Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon!" As he said this, the Number's sealed form arose, taking the form of a dark tree before transforming into a twisted shape of a dragon, its hollow eyes focusing on its enemies as it let out a roar of rage, the Number 95 in green on its torso.

Akiru stared at this development. "That's Number 95?!" Homura faced him. "How didn't you know?" The young man replied, "Several of the Numbers were never publicly revealed, let alone released. Number 95 is one of them!" The red-skinned girl replied, "Makes sense, being a Galaxy-Eyes." Mizar angrily replied, "I'll be happy to take them both off your hands, Rebel. You are not fit to wield them." The red-skinned girl replied, "I'm more concerned about that Attack Point stat." The young man chimed in, "Yeah, that's gonna be a problem."
Corwan called out, "Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon, attack Galaxy-Eyes Plasma Dragon! Dark Matter Force of Destruction!" As he called that out, Homura acted quickly. "I activate Crimson Guardian's ability! By using one Overlay Unit, she becomes the attack target, and can't be destroyed during this Battle Phase! Unfortunately, I'll still take the damage." She braced herself as dark energy struck her body, then glared at her opponent. "You'll have to do better than that, you son of a bitch!"

The Rebel barely reacted. "A minor annoyance. I end my turn with one card Face-Down." As Mizar drew his card, he said, "I'll activate the Spell Card Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force! This will evolve Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon into a Chaos Number!" Corwan was quick to response. "I activate the Trap Card Anti-Xyz! During this turn, none of us can Xyz Summon!" Mizar grimaced as his Spell Card was wasted. "He's more skilled than I was expecting." Looking over his options, he said, "I'll lay a Face-Down of my own and end my turn."
Akiru drew his card, and sighed when he saw what it was. "Honest would have been nice." As he got ready to end his turn, a new voice spoke up in his mind. "The game is not over yet. Victory is still within your grasp. You need only wield it." Looking at his Extra Deck pouch, he wasn't surprised to see a new card in there, and picked it up. Making his decision, he said, "I'll activate Monster Reborn, to bring back onto my field a good friend!" Putting the monster card on his Duel Disk, he gripped the three-pronged object that appeared, and threw it high in the air. "Come on out, my oldest ally! Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!" As he said this, light filled the object, and from it emerged a dragon composed of energy, letting out a roar of defiance.

Corwan snorted. "What good will that do you?" The boy replied, "Watch this. I activate Photon Sanctuary! This will Summon two Photon Tokens to my field in Defense Mode! I won't be able to attack with them or use them as Synchro Materials, but that's perfectly fine with me!" As he said this, two small balls of light appeared in front of him.

Continuing, Akiru declared, "I now sacrifice both Tokens, to Summon my Rabidragon!"

Closing his eyes, Akiru called out, "I Overlay level 8 Rabidragon and Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!" As the two monsters soared into the air as streams of light, he called out, "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon the monster that will put your Dark Matter Dragon to rest!" As a galaxy portal appeared in front of him, Akiru gripped a sword that appeared and threw it into the portal with the streams of light, chanting, "Darkness and light wandering in the universe, sorrowful dragon who sleeps in the interstice, its power of creating opens the door of the truth!"
From the portal rose what appeared to be the original Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, which then transformed into a dragon of pure energy, roaring angrily at its foe, the Number 62 in red on its left wing. Akiru shouted out, "Rise, Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon!"

Corwan's eyes widened in surprise. "It evolved into a Number?!" Homura looked at it, then at her friend. "Is this one of the other Numbers that weren't revealed?" He nodded, then said, "Corwan, go to hell! I have Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon attack Dark Matter Dragon!" The Rebel's eyes widened in fear. "Why?! They'll both be destroyed!" Mizar spoke up. "I wouldn't be so sure." Akiru announced, "I activate Prime Photon Dragon's ability! By using one Overlay Unit when he battles an opponent's monster, he gains 200 Attack Points times the combined Ranks of all Xyz monsters on the field, including himself! By my count, the combined Ranks are 37, putting Prime Photon Dragon at a grand total of 11700 Attack Points!"

Akiru called out, "Do it! Eternity Photon Stream!" The stream of pure light that came from Prime Photon Dragon's mouth annihilated Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon, leaving nothing behind, and sending Corwan flying onto his back, crying out in pain from the blast.

The young man looked at his opponent and said, "If I catch you near this Sanctuary again, I won't be so understanding. Galaxy-Eyes Plasma Dragon, finish him off! Plasma Scourge of Destruction!" The beam of blue energy blasted the Rebel, sending him flying into the sky as his Life Points dropped.

(Mizar, Akiru, Homura: WIN)
Dumon and Vector ran over, having bested their opponents, impressed with Akiru's win. "Your skills are impressive, young man. Well done." The young man nodded, then dropped to his knees and gripped his head as pain shot through it. "Agh!" Mizar ran over to his son and took a look. "Hmm... Your body isn't strong enough to have more than one Galaxy-Eyes in play at a time yet. We'll work on that." As he said that, he picked up the two Galaxy-Eyes Dragons that Corwan had dropped, storing them in his Extra Deck pouch, then nodding to a couple Barians that helped Akiru up. "Bring him into the Sanctuary so he can rest. Then we can begin the celebration preparations. He's earned his victory today. Kotori followed them in, concerned for her brother.
