(After the finale and before the time skip)

It was over, it was finally over. Belos the Emperor of the Boiling Isles was dead, the Collector was gone and everyone he puppetized were turned back. It wasn't without its literal damages. The battle and the deeds of the Collector left the Isles in a destroyed state, but Luz Noceda, the human who defeated Belos, and saved the entire Demon Realm, had every intention of helping rebuild it. But for now, she would use this time to rest and be with her friends and family. Even she was affected heavily by all the events that transpired, before and after the Day of Unity and The Final Battle.

Luz stood in front of the same cliffside where she let go of her old light glyph.

Luz: (narrating) "A whole chapter of my life was over…"

Stringbean comes into view, hissing and carrying Luz's hat in her mouth. She happily accepts it as Stringbean rattles and wraps herself around Luz's neck, nuzzling her before flying up. Luz then puts her hat on as Stringbean turns into her staff form and the sun shines. Luz stands at the edge of the cliff and looks out into the horizon.

Luz: (narrating) "...but a new one was just beginning."

Amity walks out of the Owl House and sees Luz standing triumphantly as she looks out into the horizon. She smiles at the human who saved her and the entire Demon Realm. She truly earned herself a girlfriend who's a champion and her goddess.

Amity: "Hey, batata."

Luz looks back and sees Amity, she smiles back at her beloved girlfriend.

Luz: "Hey, cutie. Are you doing okay?"

Amity: "I'm fine. Listen, Luz… I'm sorry for…"

Luz: "Hey, don't worry. I'm okay. Belos is gone. We're finally free."

Luz then looks and sees Amity holding her other arm, hugging herself as her eyes start forming tears. Luz realizes Amity is crying.

Amity: (crying) "It's not that. I… I nearly hurt you when the Collector captured me and turned me into their puppet."

As Amity talks to Luz, unbeknownst to them, The Collector walks out and sees them, overhearing their conversation about him.

Amity: (saddened) "If you didn't realize what happened I might've… oh Titan. I could've killed you. And what's worse? I wasn't there when you needed me. What if something happened to you while fighting Belos? What if you…"

Amity drops to her knees and begins to cry harder than ever. Luz runs to Amity and hugs her tightly. Unfortunately, she was right about something happening to her while she was fighting Belos, she died while protecting The Collector from Belos' dragon final form and she turned into decaying fungus with the remains of her soul becoming orbs of light. Luz hasn't been able to tell her or her friends and mother about what happened yet. The Collector looks on as they feel guilt over separating the couple and torturing Luz in that nightmare, they then turn away while tightly hugging Francoís and go back inside The Owl House, King walks up to the Collector concerned for their well-being.

King: "Hey, buddy. You okay? Collector?"

Collector: "King, am… am I a bad person? Like Belos?"

King: "What!? You're not a bad guy like Belos, you're just a confused godly kid. Why do you ask?"

Collector: "I hurt Luz. Even more than Belos did. What he did was only to kill her, but what I did… it was worse than death!"

Camila overhears and notices their conversation, along with Hooty, Lilith, Raine, and Eda. Eda starts walking towards them in hopes of comforting the sad space cherub.

Eda: "Kiddo?"

Camila: "Are you okay?"

Collector: "I'll never forgive myself for what happened to Luz. She deserved better than any of this."

Collector then leaves King and the others and walks away upstairs to be alone. Eda and Camila look at each other concerned, pitying the Collector's well-being and concerned about Luz's painful trauma.

(The Next Day)

However, there was still another problem besides what was happening at the Owl House, which was happening back at Hexside. When the students of Hexside helped Luz and her group escape Kikimora they overwhelmed her to the point where she had to abandon her Abomaton. Kikimora has not been seen since. When Principal Bump and the teachers returned the students told them what happened in their absence. Bump didn't feel comfortable with the possibility of Kikimora still being nearby. He felt that she couldn't go that far without her Abomaton so the teachers and students worked together to search the area. Little did they know that Kikimora wasn't far at all. She pops out from behind a bush located near the entrance of Hexside.

Kikimora: "Ugh. I can't believe Belos is gone. That human did this, didn't she? Oh, she is such a pain."

After Belos betrayed her on the Day of Unity, Kikimora wanted to be the one to end Belos for his traitorous actions, but the human ruined that for her. Kikimora saw the teachers bring her Abomaton into the school so she made her way to get it back. She used her small size to her advantage and avoided being caught as she searched the school. Kikimora was checking every single room looking for her Abomatron until she came across the memory photo classroom. When Kikimora came into the room she found pictures all over the place. After closer inspection, she noticed these were all of Luz's memories from when she was trying to find that spell.

Kikimora: "These are the human's memories! Hehe, I know what I can do with these! You'll regret ruining my plans, you disgusting creature!"

As she was gathering all the pictures Boscha and her friends were walking down the hall. After the puppetized students and teachers came back, Boshca, Skara, Cat, and Amelia volunteered to help with the search. Boscha still had a score to settle with Kikimora for using her for her plans.

Cat: "I still can't believe you helped Luz and her friends escape that crazy lady."

Boscha: "You're never gonna let me live that down are you Cat? I only did it because Amity promised me that Luz could get you two back!"

The other three girls stared at Boscha, smirking. Boscha quickly takes notice of this.

Boscha: "What?"

Amelia: "You just called her by her name, not "Human" like you normally do!"

Skara: "I think someone is getting soft."

Boscha: "Ugh, whatever."

As the four girls came around the corner they saw a certain short demon coming out of a classroom carrying something. Both Boscha and Kikimora made eye contact with each other.

Boscha: "Hey, you!"

Kikimora immediately shot fire at the students and quickly started to run. Boscha countered with fire of her own and then she and Amelia went after her.

Skara: "Cat, go get Bump! We'll try and catch her!"

Cat nodded and went in the other direction to get the principal and Skara went to join Boscha and Amelia.

Skara: "Come back here you little gremlin… tiny demon… thing!!!!"

Kikimora continues running, being chased by Boscha, Amelia, and Skara, she runs past the gymnasium but returns to the doors and she spots her Abomaton mech inside, she makes a run for it and hops into the suit and activates it. Boscha, Amelia, and Skara use vines to stop her mech from escaping, but Kikimora activates the afterburners of the jet pack and escapes from their clutches.

Kikimora: (shouting) "See you later, you little brats! I'll deal with you later!"

Boscha: "Dang it."

Skara: (panting) "What the heck was Kikimora doing in the memory photo classroom? What did she take out of there?"

Boscha pants as well and then stops when she realizes what was inside the classroom. She remembered that she saw some of Luz's memory photos that were there, and were left there when she and Kikimora knocked out Luz, Amity, Camila, and Mattholomule and tossed them into the Detention Pits.

Boscha: "Luz's memory photos. They were the only ones in that classroom!"

Skara: "Oh no!"

Amelia: "If Kikimora damages them… Luz will…"

Skara: "What do we do?!"

Boscha: "Skara, go to The Owl House and tell Amity and her group. Amelia, go find Cat and Bump and tell them what happened."

Amelia: "What are you gonna do?"

Boscha:" I'll go track down Kikimora and stop her from burning those photos. Plus I still gotta score to settle with her!"

Skara: "By yourself?"

Boscha summons her palisman and prepares to leave.

Boscha: "I'll be fine. I need to hurry before she gets too far!"

Boscha takes off to find Kikimora, Amelia goes to tell Bump, and Skara runs out, and starts to head for the Owl House to warn Amity, Eda, and King.

Thankfully Kikimora wasn't going full speed so Boscha was able to catch up pretty quickly. Kikimora looked behind her and noticed that she was being tailed. Boscha was trying to keep up but a palisman wasn't fast enough to keep up with an Abomaton.

Kikimora: "That brat just doesn't know when to stop!"

Kikimora shot a much bigger fireball at Boscha. She tried to turn and avoid it but the fireball hit the back of her staff causing her to lose control and fly off. Fortunately, Boscha and her palisman landed in a tree, breaking her fall.

Kikimora: "Heh, that should take care of her, but just in case she still tries to follow me."

Kikimora turned off the afterburner on her Abomatron and sped away. When Boscha got back in the air she noticed Kikimora was nowhere in sight.

Boscha: "Dang it! She got away again."

Once she felt that she was far enough away Kikimora landed in a secluded area. She started a fire with a fire spell and pulled out Luz's memory photos.

Kikimora: "Oh….I'm going to enjoy this!"

(At The Owl House)

After a day of rest, Luz, her friends, and her mother went to get Eda's stuff from one of the Emperor's Coven's old warehouses. They thought it would take a while but since everyone was helping getting the stuff didn't nearly as long as it could have been. Luz still hasn't figured out how to tell her Mom or her friends or even Amity about her "death"; it wasn't something she could just bring up in casual conversation. She decided she would tell everyone what happened after they got Eda's house set up. Meanwhile, The Collector was still feeling guilty about the problems he caused, he had locked himself in Eda's bedroom. No one has seen him since King talked to him the other day. Eda was trying to get him to come out but to no avail.

As Luz was helping Willow and Amity carry stuff into the house Luz suddenly started to get hot and dizzy. This immediately got Amity's attention.

Amity: "Luz? Are you ok?"

Luz: "I'm fine Amity, I'm just…"

Luz started to feel some more pain in her head, Amity helped keep her from falling. Luz then looked up at Amity and Willow with half-opened eyes and was feeling confused.

Luz: "Where…..am…..I?"

Willow: "You're… at The Owl House."

Luz: "Oh and who are you?"

Amity and Willow looked at each confused and looked back at Luz.

Amity: "Batata, are you ok?"

Willow: "Are you trying to make a joke?"

Luz: "I…"

Luz suddenly started to feel intense pain in her head and fell to her knees and counting her head.

Amity: "Luz!"

Amity and Willow went to Luz's side to check on her. Suddenly Skara arrived, landing down and running up towards the three girls.

Skara: "Oh no! I'm too late!"

Amity and Willow turn around and see Skara.

Willow: "Skara? What are you doing here? We thought you were gonna stay at Hexside and help out."

Skara: "I was, but me, Amelia, Cat, and Boscha ran into a big problem. We saw Kikimora in the memory photo classroom."

Hearing Kikimora's name shocks Amity, Willow continues her conversation with Skara after she looks at Luz and Amity, worried. Amity looks up at Skara.

Amity: "Skara, what was Kikimora doing in the classroom?"

Skara: "We saw her carrying a small bag. Boscha told us that Luz's memory photos were there inside the classroom when she captured you guys and tossed you into the Detention Pits."

Amity thinks back to her mistake of burning Willow's photos in "Understanding Willow", and remembers what damage she caused to her friend's mind and realizes the same issue is happening to Luz.

Amity: (shocked) "What!?"

Willow: "That means Kikimora has Luz's memory photos… AND IS DESTROYING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!!"

Amity, Skara, and Willow helped Luz get inside. Amity noticed something was different compared to when Willow had her memory photos burned. Willow just lost her memory, Luz seemed like she was in physical pain. When they got inside the House they laid Luz down on the couch. As they are tending to Luz they hear Eda, Raine, and Camila come down the stairs.

Eda: "Heyo! What's going on here?"

Camila and Eda saw Luz on the couch and the other girls tending to her.

Camilla: "What happened?"

Skara decided to explain as simply as she could.

Skara: "It's Kikimora, Eda. She found Luz's memory photos."

Eda: "What?!"

Camila: "I don't get what's wrong. Aren't they just photos?"

Eda: "It's more than that, Cammy."

Willow: "It's true, Ms Noceda. If memory photos are damaged then it affects the person's actual memory. I know that from experience."

Luz started lightly thrashing about and groaning in pain. This freaked everyone out, especially Camila. Skara and Willow tried to get Luz to stop moving around but with no success. Thinking quickly Raine used a sleeping spell to knock Luz out much like Eda did to Willow back then. Amity placed Luz's head on her lap and started rubbing the top of her head.

Eda: "Her brain is really cooked but this is different compared to what happened to Willow. The only thing that should be affected is Luz's memory, she shouldn't feel any pain."

Willow: "Why is she reacting differently?"

Eda: "I couldn't tell you, kid, I have never seen anything like this before."

Camila looked at her daughter in worry. Camila covers her mouth and begins to tear up, seeing her daughter like this. Eda noticed this and placed a hand on her shoulder.

Eda: "She'll be okay, Camila. We can fix this."

Camila: "How?"

Eda: "We just need to go into her mind and repair her memories."

Camila: "Wait, say what now?"

Amity stood up, not hesitating to volunteer to help Luz.

Amity: "I'll do it!"

Eda: "Ok, who wants to go with her?"

Amity: "I'll go alone!"

Everyone else at once: "What?!"

Suddenly Hunter kicked the door open. He is followed by Gus, Darius, Emira, Alador, and Edric who is still in his body cast.

Hunter: "We heard about Luz! We came as soon as we could."

Willow: "How did you hear about it?"

Darius: "Bump contacted me and told me what happened at Hexside. So I gathered everyone else and we came here as quickly as we could.

Gus: "What's going on with Luz, Eda?"

Eda: "Kikimora is destroying Luz's memory photos, but for some reason, it's causing Luz to also suffer physical pain. And Amity here is volunteering to go into Luz's mind to fix her."

Amity holds her shoulder in shame while Eda tells her family about her solo mission into Luz's mindscape. Her family looked worried.

Edric: "Mittens, that's very dangerous. We know about you going into Willow's mind before, we were relieved when we knew Luz went with you, but going solo?"

Emira: "We don't know what going into Luz's mind will be like. We don't know how dangerous it could be."

Gus: "I can come with you. Besides, I know a thing or two about fixing memories and facing your anxieties. Right, Hunt?"

Hunter: "You said it."

Hunter and Gus give each other a bro fist bump, but then Amity speaks up.

Amity: "It has to be me alone. None of you can come. I don't know why I want to go alone… but I feel like I need to because Luz… saved us all. Saving me, you guys, and everyone on the Isles from Belos and Collector. I wasn't there for Luz when she was fighting Belos. I'm not losing her to whatever Kikimora is doing. I don't want to be useless like when Belos nearly turned her to stone… or when The Collector turned us into puppets and tortured Luz… I… (begins to tear up) I can't lose my girlfriend. I can't imagine a life without her."

Amity falls to her knees and cries as she confesses how much she wants to go solo on this task. Alador says nothing and simply kneels down and hugs Amity, hoping to reassure her, and Camila joins in to help comfort Amity.

Camila: "Amity, I always appreciate how much you care for my daughter. But you can't do this alone, it's too dangerous. It's just that… entering someone's mind? That sounds very risky. Let me come with you, at least."

Lilith: "Or me. I can help."

Willow: "Or me. Since you and Luz fixed my mind, it's time we repay her together and fix her memories too."

Amity: (wipes her tears and looks at them both) "Camila, Lilith, Willow, thank you, but I have to do this alone. Luz is my girlfriend and… she needs me. Please let me do this one solo… for Luz."

Camila and Eda give looks to each other, Eda then turns to look at Alador. He nods to Eda, who understands that Amity is strong enough to handle this on her own. Eda looks back at Camila and holds her shoulder.

Eda: "Cammy… Amity can do this. I trust her. It's like you said, there's no one else who cares for Luz more than her. Besides, this is also a way to make up for not being with Luz during the final battle. While your in Luz's mind the rest of us will find Kikimora and wrap this whole thing up"

King tugs on Eda, getting her attention.

King: "Eda, if Amity goes into Luz's memories, then she'll see…"

Eda: "I know, kiddo. But this is the only way to save our kid."

Camila: "Eda, what would Amity see?"

Eda: "I'll explain it to you, while we track down Kikimora."

Willow: "Yeah. It's time to make sure the Emperor's Coven never hurts Luz again."

Eda: "Obviously I have no magic so who wants to send Amity in?

Emira: "I will…"

Amity stood in front of Emira as she prepared to send her sister into Luz's mind. Camila looks over at Alador who stayed silent through this whole thing

Camila: "You haven't said anything, you're okay with her doing this?"

Alador: "Even if I said no, Amity would have done it regardless. Before the Day of Unity, I unintentionally told Hunter what I was gonna tell Luz. I would be more than honored to have Luz welcomed into my family."

Camila: "And I would be lucky to have you, the twins, and Amity as part of mine."

Before she could go Eda handed Amity a bell.

Eda: "Ring this and your sister will pull you out."

Emira: "If it is too dangerous in there ring it immediately. Ok?"

Amity: "I will."

However, Amity had no intention of leaving no matter how dangerous it got, but she wasn't gonna tell her sister that. Amity was going to see this through no matter what. Emira completed the spell and Amity was sent into her girlfriend's mind.

Hunter: "I'll stay with Emira, Stringbean, and Ghost and make sure nothing happens to Luz's body until Amity finishes up."

Eda: "Alright!"

Eda went into a box and found an old map of the Boiling Isles she had and sat at the table.

Eda: "Now, where do we start?"

Camila pulls out her baseball bat with Luz's old glyphs still on it, unaware that the magic of those glyphs no longer function. She walks up to Eda, looking like a badass.

Camila: "The sooner we find KikiMickey, the sooner I can use my baseball bat and shove it straight up…"

Willow: "Okay, we know. Calm down, Ms. Noceda."

Eda: "Whew. She is… (gulps) pretty badass."

Raine: (smirking) "Eda, are you planning on asking Luz's mom out on a date as well?"

Eda: "What? Don't be ridiculous, Rainestorm." (laughs nervously while Raine smirks at her)

Raine lightly shook their head. They knew Eda was totally crushing on Luz's badass mom. But they were okay with that. They knew Eda would do anything. A tiny crush was harmelss
