Ost: Doki Doki Literature club! (Main theme): Doki Doki Literature club
The reibai infiltration team is inside an empty and dusty apartment building of a fairly large size. Touka proudly boasts about the apartment on how it belongs to his papa and how its a high end apartment in the expensive part of Kamihama and everyone else isn't all that impressed. Being aliens from a highly advanced civilization and all. Kagemusha was especially blunt on his displeasure on having to be on Earth for a prolonged amount of time. Something that annoyed Touka whom was proud of her heritage as a Japanese.
"Seriously mask guy all you do is complain! I mean what's so bad about Earth anyways?" Touka asks Kagemusha.
"Humans, Incubators, Disney. In that order. And that's just the start."
Saitou meanwhile was holding his mouth with a tissue muttering to himself about how to best clean up the apartment. As he wanders around he notices an odd foul smell. "Odd..."
"What's wrong brother?" Tetsuya asked of her older brother as the two closed in to a door in the corner.
"Smells like blood and vomit... Like if there was a dead body inside that room."
"That's ridiculous!" Touka rejected as she tried to force the door open. "While I admit that this apartment may have gotten a tad dusty. There's no way papa is hiding dead bodies inside apartments." The little girl unable to open the door resorts to kicking the door open and once she manages to brute force the door. Is horrified to find the body of a girl hanging from a noose with blood on her hands and vomit all over her school uniform.
Ost: Sayo-nara: Doki Doki Literature club
Touka understandably completely freaks out. "SWEETMERCIFULKEANUREEEVES!" And bolts for the nearest exit in a screaming panic followed by Saitou and Tetsuya only for Kagami and Kagemusha to notice that the girl wasn't dead. Yet... And so the duo proceed to cut her down from the noose and revive her.
The revived girl thanked the duo for saving her and introduced herself. "My name is Iroha Tamaki. It's nice to meet you. Err..."
"I'm Kagami Ichijin, the quiet one over there is Kagemusha. We also have some other people to introduce but they are chasing down Touka who didn't take your first impression well."
"Oh i'm terribly sorry! You see, my younger sister Ui died recently and i've been depressed about it lately. I tried committing suicide but at the last minute I got scared but it was too late. If you didn't come I would have really died." Iroha explains as she is some water to drink. During that time Tetsuya and Saitou return dragging Touka with them who is still freaking out about the "corpse" in the room.
"You can't make me go back in there!" Touka screams as she is being muffled by Tetsuya who is trying to stop a scene from taking place.
Iroha though is surprised at seeing the little girl amongst the group. "Touka-chan? But how is that possible, you died!"
Touka after a moment of awkward silence pretty much answered with. "Well looks like the cat's out of the bag now huh? Hey Iroha it's been a while." As she is forced to confront her old friend from her hospital days.
Chapter 9: Is Westside burning?
The mahou driver system. Originally an attempt to replace body parts with virtual replicas composed of digital material. This digital material was meant to prevent rejection and serve as a way to rapidly standardize medical equipment. But its ability to enhance body and mind soon found a new purpose on the battlefield. It is now the year Second history 8932, The so called singularity has long become a thing of legend and myth. And a new civilization has risen from the ashes of the old.
The Acorn archipelago is a series of islands located around the green Pandora's tower. Composed of South island, Christmas island, Westside island, and 18 other islands which were originally one larger landmass before being fractured by a the splintering of Ixis. Where wizards of Ixis destroyed their civilization thru a massive explosion that consumed their lands thru emerald fire.
The kingdom itself was founded by King Acorn the first. Who unified the anim in Mobius and created an unified government that lasted for a thousand years until the reign of King Maximillian the cursed which led to the great war and interference by the IFS or the mainlanders as they would be known. Which led to the great Balkanization of Mobius and Maximillian's deposement and later death after he choked on a pretzel in a fit of rage. Nowadays King Nigel the unfortunate is the current crown monarch. Tasked with restoring the crown's reputation in the midst of crisis such as the war with Eggman and the IFS breathing down Mobius neck for more control.
Jun 20 s.h. 8392 Alongside the Emerald Hill coastline.
The Skypatrol... Is still being towed by Sonic Arc... During that time Sally and Nicole took the liberty of scanning the Getter Robo wannabe gattai and managed to obtain some information out of it which they are discussing in their private chambers.
Sally Acorn looks over the data and diagrams of Sonic Arc in her terminal noticing two more potential form changes among them called Tails Arc and Knuckles Arc. "So this Arc project was an attempt to improve on the mahou driver technology pioneered in the magical girl war huh?"
"Yes Sally." Nicole answered. "The mahou driver system was the predecessor to the bio implants you and the others have nowadays. An attempt to level the playing field against a supernatural menace. If the mahou driver system was the Reibai race's attempt to match both God and the devil. Then the Arc system was their attempt to surpass them."
"Seriously? Who would have came from something as simple as translator microbes and atmospheric adjusters?" Sally referring to two standard implants that are in pretty much everyone. The former is self explanatory artificial cells that allow those implanted with them to understand foreign languages but it requires that both parties have said microbes so the tech isn't perfect. And the latter is a gas filtering system that improves circulation. Making things like altitude sickness and decompression a thing of the past. Sonic used this when he needed to go underwater since he couldn't swim. So he simply walked underwater during those situations.
"At least we are almost back home." Nicole muses as the duo gazes upwards at an open roof showing the night sky and the full moon in full display.
"Still i'm thankful for all your help Nicole." Sally comments.
"Well you did take me in. Even though I was once one of the administrators of the Pandora's towers." Nicole noted seemingly depressed of that fact. "One of the seven AI that are supposed to control this planet from behind the scenes."
"There's no need to worry. Besides, the Reibai are gone now. And the administrators have all just disappeared right?"
Yes, Sally. As far as I can tell the entire Pandora network has been shut down for decades. In fact when Madoka was found it was the first sign of activity in years. That's why I am concerned."
"Worried that your old bosses will show up again?"
"Yes, even though we are not aware of the full details of project Elpis. I do believe that if it were to be completed. The Acorn archipelago would be destroyed in the process."
Their thoughts are interrupted by Alias one of the bridge bunnies of the Skypatrol. Literal rabbit operator sisters and also the oldest and self proclaimed leader of the sibling group. Which can be recognized by her uniquely patterned pink and white armor in an aliased gradient all over the suit. With varying grades of pink and white dominating certain parts of the armor in certain parts of the body. Informing Sally that they have reached Emerald coast and that they are being hailed by the local authorities. Layer the stoic middle child who typically doesn't show emotion and has a purple and white armor separated by well layers with one vertical half being all purple and the other half being all white. Being calm and devoted to her duties and Pallet the youngest of the trio clearly exhausted and relieved that their whole misadventure is behind them With Pallet's armor being cyan and white with her unique touch being cyan splashes of color on a white canvas.
As cheers and cries of relief spread across the Skypatrol. Everyone finally gets a moment to relax with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles falling asleep in the roof of the ship after canceling the transformation. Exhausted after having to swim all the way across the ocean without rest. Amy and Madoka quickly rush to the trio. With Amy first showing some annoyance to the newcomer before Cream and Cheese step in to break up the fight.
"You really care about Sonic don't you?" Madoka mentions about Amy.
"Of course! We are destined lovers after all! Sonic is just shy about it you know." Amy replies.
The Skypatrol is docked in Emerald hill's docks as morning sets in. The ship is placed under repairs as engineers try to get it airborne once more.
Jun 21 s.h. 8392, Emerald hill, Westside island
The resistance ends up spending the day resting in the Crusty crow inn next to the docks where the Skypatrol is being repaired. With three of their people asleep and recovering Sally decided to simply talk to his father King Nigel alone alongside Nicole using a lampost to teleport to South island.
"So for now we all just relax." Amy responds to the girls of the Resistance who are gathered in the lobby whom the bridge bunny trio just go off their own way. With Pallet especially running off like an energetic child in full combat armor. As everyone takes in the unlikely sight. Layer simply decides to undress and go off butt naked to sunbathe to the shock of Madoka. As Alias chases after her with a towel.
Amy remarks. "Yeah we should have warned you. Layer is a naturalist. She really has no shame about being naked in public."
"Isn't she going to get arrested?" Madoka asked.
"Probably." Cream retorts all too aware of the situation to the point it doesn't bother her anymore. And its merely an annoyance much to the magical girls shock and horror.
Mystic caves, Westside island
Deep in the mystic caves. A large gem filled cavernous area in the center of Westside island a group of rabbit themed mechas are digging and drilling thru the bedrock of the deepest parts of the caves long abandoned tunnel complexes. Until one of them finally manages to tear down a large stone wall.
"Shi-shi-shi-shi-shi! Success! At long last we have reached the fabled Hidden Palace of Westside!" A deep masculine voice with a distinctive french accent bellowed out from the caverns.
A pair of mysterious minions walked alongside the giant rabbit mecha one being a large and fat rabbit being in a purple Victorian era suit with a fancy top hat that hid his ears and tie that looks like a cross between the Mad Hatter and the White Hare. And an elderly troll wearing a purple cloak, red piercing eyes, a tattered witches hat, and a long white beard. As the duo stroll thru the ancient halls of the long abandoned palace the old troll breathes in the dusty old air with a sense of satisfaction of it all.
"Ciseaux my boy. Look at it all. The ancient glory of the order of Ixis! Long ago our order would conduct rituals that would harness the very essence of Chaos. What the people of today call magic. And channel into pure power! Breathe it in my boy! Breathe! It! IN!" The elderly troll boasted with considerable pork with every word and action.
Ciseaux the fat rabbit guy meanwhile holds his breath meanwhile worried about catching a disease. "No thanks monsieur. These caves have all kinds of weird ancient diseases inside them."
"It's perfectly safe rabbit." The troll commented as the duo entered a central room featuring a very familiar layout. An exact copy of the Master Emerald shrine in Angel island minus said giant gem. Only with purple coloration replacing all the green in the Echidna ruins.
"I just hope this little expedition is worth it for our organization." Ciseaux ponders as he twirls his tiny mustache over and over. "After all the mafia only cares about profit. Not about world domination."
Back at Emerald hill
Back at Emerald hill Amy and Cream are using their free time to introduce Madoka to modern Mobian civilization. Emerald hill is a coastal town and aside from its massive docks is a fairly humble fishing village where the occasional tourist comes to surf and relax. As they introduce the amnesiac young girl to the sights and sounds of society she looks on amazed like a small child at a carnival. As Madoka heads to a store where she is gifted a grilled fish wish she eats up. She then begins to crash every stand looking for more local cuisines to the horror of Amy's wallet.
"Seriously you would think she would be more mature about this." Amy complains as she searches for funds is a nearby ATM machine.
While Cream enjoys the whole scenario of having another sister to play with. "Well I think its just lovely. I just wish Mr. Gemerl was here too."
"What is G-merl doing anyways? Taking care of the house?" Amy asks.
"Yes, He is currently helping mother with chores and such."
Madoka then shows up at the two girls side with a bunch of different snacks on hand. Which causes Cream to complain that it would ruin her appetite to which Madoka states back that she doubts it. As the two enter an argument an explosion occurs in the distance. Interrupting the festivities of the girls. As a rabbit themed mech blazes thru the bazaar streets making a mess of the place.
Amy raises her hammer and in a moment of anger leaps forward towards the mafia owned machine and strikes it with such force that it breaks down and shuts down on the spot. Careening into the air and crashing in an alleyway to an amazed and cheering crowd. "Seriously! Can't we spend one day without stopping some punk in their tracks?!"
Said punk, a mafioso thug tried to sneak out only to be intercepted by Cream and Cheese. At first the punk resisted with a knife in hand but was disarmed and beaten easily by the child and chao who forced the grown man to submit in defeat in a humiliating manner via an application of aikido.
Another pair of mecha then follow in hot pursuit. These ones being a white and pink one that are top heavy with their chest and heads being fused together and having a single rotating eye with the white one having twin swords and a command antenna and the pink one having a single sword and a samurai armor motif.
Amy remarks under her breath. "Mugens..." And states. "It's been a while you two!" As the two Mugens power down revealing a young man and woman with the young man saluting the anims.
"You're right Amy! And I apologize for having to clean up our mess again. The Acorn Flower division will take care of the situation from now on. Sakura!"
"Right Sei-kun!" Sakura Amamiya responds. A young Japanese woman in a pink pilot suit who alongside Seijuro Kamiyama the young man step off their Mugens and proceed to arrest the mafia punk.
"As Sakura and Cream process the punk. Seijuro and Amy end up talking.
"Say Amy I don't suppose you and your friends will be staying in Westside for the time being?"
"Why do ask Captain?"
"Well were preparing a raid and we could really use the help of the Resistance on this one."
"Isn't mafia work too small scale for us?" Amy question in a skeptical manner.
"Not when the mafia is collaborating with Walter Naugus." When Seijuro mentioned that name it instantly got the attention of Amy and Cream as the old Ixis wizard has been a recurring foe of the Resistance for years alongside Eggman.
"What's that crusty old troll up to?!" Amy wonders. "And with Sonic out cold too."
"Did something happen to Sonic?" Sakura asked with worry as she held the punk who simply laughed at the fact that Sonic is hurt.
"What's the matter I thought the fastest thing alive was made of tougher stuff!" The punk mocked only to be swiftly silenced by Amy's hammer and Sakura's sword being pointed at his head and neck respectively.
Seijuro finishes with. "And you're going to tell us everything you know or these ladies will take turns beating the information of you!" With Sakura and Amy making faces that could be described as the stuff of nightmares at the punk which caused him to quickly confess to everything.
Amy, Cream, and Madoka are summoned to the nearby police station where Seijuro and Sakura are stationed where they exchange information and are briefed of the plan. Apparently according to scouts the mafia has been digging around the mystic caves looking for something. And that the Flower division is supposed to investigate the caverns and deal with the situation if that's the case. Of course the Flower division can easily deal with the mafia. But Naugus is another matter entirely. As he could easily deal with the Mugens and their mage isn't on the level of a genuine Ixis master. A direct battle would be a losing proposition if Naugus really was involved.
As the days passed Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles wake up and are informed of the situation as well and they agree to head to the caves to investigate as the police and resistance prepare for the raid. Sally and Nicole also return to Westside from speaking with their father and are caught up with the situation. And then a week later both groups assemble and head to the mountainous central Westside where the mystic caves are located deep within.
Jul 1 s.h. 8932 "The big day"
The police and resistance head toward the mystic caves in a caravan of trucks, bikes, and Mugens with Sonic keeping track with his running speed. The entire group cross the mountain roads in a procession that is noticed by mafia scout drones which is part of the police's plan.
"Looks like they noticed us. "Tails comments to Clarissa Snowflake. Fellow intellectual and the Flower division's mage from the back of one of the trucks alongside Soujiro and Madoka while Sakura is on standby in her Mugen ready to deploy in case of an attack or ambush. The other Resistance members are in other cars in the convoy serving as reinforcements
"It's fine. Let them notice. It just means that we'll be expecting an attack." The young blond from Luxemburg in green mentioned as she held on to her spell book.
As the caravan closed in and the mafia noticed them. Ciseaux began to panic. But Naugus was all too pleased about the fact that both the police and the pesky hedgehog were coming to his doorstep.

"Ah! We have an unexpected guest in the form of the quickster!" The elderly troll muses with an all too sinister slasher smile. While Ciseaux is worried that his Prelude and his mass produced Overtures won't be enough to stop the resistance.
"You know old man! I signed up to fuck tha police! Not to deal with the military's dogs!" The fat rabbit grieved as he and several of his men watched the screen and prepared the logistics.
Naugus brushed off the mobsters concerns and raised his staff. Using the shrine to summon a large quantity of giant terrifying monsters full of scales, claws, and fangs. Scaring Ciseaux and his mooks into submission. "Kouma! The Flower division of times past fought these creatures. And now with this shrine I can summon and control the Kouma! With the Archdemon sealed away I will use them as an army to take back the crown from that despicable Nigel and take my rightful place as King!"
Ciseaux laughed nervously but stated. "I see! That's how we will tip the scales back in our favor!"
"Precisely my boy! Let those fools come! They shall be devoured by my demonic horde! BWAHAHAHAHAHAAA!" Naugus laugh echoes across the caverns as the Kouma army roars in unison and heads outside as a stampeding pack of wild beasts. Ordered by their summoner to fight and kill the intruders.
The caravan is reaching its destination at that time. Everyone is dealing with last minute preparations with the exception of Sonic. Who is jumping at the bit to rush in ahead and is constantly being told by Sally and Seijuro to stay with the rest of the caravan. Sonic simply leaps into the roof of one the trucks and lays down out of boredom when a gigantic roar that echoes from deep in the mountains is heard by all.
"What was that?" Seijuro asks to which Tails and Clarissa detect that it is hostiles. Hundreds of them swarming towards them all at once and their signature seems to match that of Kouma.
"What's a Kouma?" Madoka asks as the newest recruit to join overall.
"Demons from another dimension essentially." Clarissa explains. "But how did a bunch of mafia goons?"
"Never mind that!" Soujiro states "Flower division, Resistance, Move out!"
Ost: Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan (new chapter): Sakura Wars 2019
Sakura and her fellow division members activate their Mugens and burst out of their transports to charge against the Kouma horde. Sonic also gleefully runs into the fray and spin attacks into a Kouma but is quickly discouraged from fighting further after getting slimed by its remains after smashing into it. With the slime both smelling foul and causing Sonic to stick to the road.
"Ugh! Gross! Nasty!" Sonic complains almost getting mauled by another Kouma before getting pulled out by Sakura and given a sword by another Mugen pilot.
"You can't use brute force on Kouma. They can only be defeated by focusing your spiritual power." Sakura mentions to the reckless hedgehog. Who pulls a look of utter embarrassment before trying again with a spirit focused sword strike this time successfully dispelling the Kouma. Joined by Sakura and her Mugen alongside a red one with a giant hammer, a yellow one with ninja stylings and tekko claws, and a blue one with a parasol and handgun for weapons as well as the mass produced sword and rifle wielding gray ones. The group began fighting off the Kouma horde beast by ravenous beast.
Knuckles complains about having to stay in a car waiting and tries to climb out into the roof. But an officer tells him to conserve his strength for the fight ahead while Cream holds on to Cheese fearfully as explosions and battle rock the area.
"Hold on everyone! We're charging straight ahead!" The police officer stated as he and the rest of the caravan drove past the horde and headed to the mystic caves where they met a welcoming committee of mobsters in mecha prepared for battle. Seijuro and Clarissa broke thru the line in their respective Mugens using swords and magic against the gun and blade totting mechs. While Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Cream fought the mobsters that remained on foot. And the remaining police and Resistance members swarmed the caverns using the intelligence they gathered to get to the depths of the caves and into the Hidden palace.
Sally, Nicole, Madoka, and a squad of police entered the hidden palace and stormed the area only to find it strangely empty and abandoned.
"Careful everyone this could be a trap." Nicole warns as she scans the area. While the police scour the place with guns drawn.
Sally taking a good look at the architecture notices how similar the place looks to Angel island's Master emerald shrine. And communicates it outside. "Knuckles, you should get here while you have the chance. There's something you want to see."
When lightning bolts surge thru the room overwhelming the police. And forcing Sally and Nicole on the defensive with Madoka's bracelet forming a protective barrier for her. And the evil wizard Walter Naugus descends from above with purple lightning in hand like an evil overlord sneering in contempt at his foes.
"Well if isn't the princess and her AI pet. Oh and who is this?" Naugus asks as she looks at Madoka. "You look familiar."
"You leave Madoka alone Wally!" Sally screams at the wizard.
"Madoka? As in Madoka Kaname?" Naugus pauses as if recalling an old memory. While Madoka fearfully stares at the old troll. "No, that's not possible. I heard it from my old master. The goddess is dead."
"What?!" The three girls shout in unison."
"Oh so you aren't aware? This girl is the spitting image of the legendary goddess that was responsible for the magical girl war. The entire genesis of our second history is because of the conflict over that girl. But of course Madoka Kaname was murdered. Betrayed and killed by those around her. Just like you soon will be!" Ixis then creates a massive explosion that consumes the entire palace and causes the caves to collapse to the shock of those fighting outside. Naugus and Ciseaux then burst out of the ruins in their respective mechs. Ciseaux in the Prelude mk 2 a giant bipedal rabbit mecha with a scissor blade weapon, red lenses for eyes, and an opera cape and coattails that hide thrusters. While Naugus hijacked a giant Kouma to serve as a megazord. Controlling it with his magic.
"No way!" Knuckles yelled out as he punched out a thug. "I expected that Naugus would live. But that rabbit isn't he just a mafia bitch?!"
"Shi-shi-shi-shi-shi!" Ciseaux laughed as he looked down at his enemies from the cockpit of his robot. "I'm Sakura wars most popular antagonist! I've got Joker immunity! I'm too popular to die!"
Naugus and Ciseaux fire their lasers at the heroes causing sizable collateral damage to the surrounding area and taking out the mafioso on the ground. Soujiro and Clarissa duel their respective opponents using their Mugens to fight the enemy mechas while the Resistance members recover. Soujiro and Ciseaux clashing blades and Naugus and Clarissa in a wizard duel.
Sonic and Sakura join in having broken off from the fight with the Kouma to help the others with Sakura stating as such. Tails shoots down the idea and Soujiro orders the two to help dig out Sally and the others who are trapped inside the caves. Whom they promptly go to do as the Flower division holds off the enemy with Sakura ditching her Mugen and going on foot. Knuckles also follow Sonic as the former would be more useful in digging out their friends. Which is quickly proven right as Knuckles is forced to punch out ton after ton of rock and dig at a frantic pace to the hidden palace alongside Sonic and Sakura whose sword training combined with her mystic powers let her cut thru solid stone. Able to sense the energy signatures of the others he led the way thru the dark and twisted caverns until they finally found them being protected by a giant pink force field being produced by Madoka herself.
Outside the fight was not going well. While Soujiro was evenly matched with the older Ciseaux. Clarissa was no match against Naugus. And while Tails was a genius in technology and had some grasp on magic. Finding the weakness of a inter dimensional demon wasn't exactly within Tails area of expertise. Cursing the fact that he could only hide even after the hell that was his education within the 'L'Enfant Terribles facility. And that the curriculum didn't cover how to kill Kouma.
Ciseaux desperate tries to use his scissors to disembowel Soujirou's Mugen but with a swift movement of his twin blades he manages to disarm the mechanical rabbit. Causing the blades to fall into the ground. Naugus uses his superior magic to paralyze both Mugens and smash them into each other and into the ground. Clarissa fires back with a gigantic tornado that swallows up the evil duo that Seijuro hacks apart causing an explosion. But both Ciseaux and Naugus survive powered up by dark auras that allow them to fire dozens of high intensity homing beams at Soujiro and Clarissa smashing up their Mugens and grounding the duo.
Tails alone and out of options decides to use Sakura's Mugen and bolts to the entrance of the cave to get into the cockpit avoiding blasts of magic along the way using his agility and flight. Until he got to the pink Mugen with the sword and entered it and worked to bypass its typical security protocols. Normally something Tails could do in his sleep. Only to get what seemed to be a jolt to his entire body and then a bout of exhaustion.
"No! So much energy..." Tails commented before falling asleep having underestimated the Mugen's level of spiritual energy consumption.
"Its over!" Naugus gloats as he prepares to destroy the pink Mugen. The rest of the Flower division having just defeated the Kouma horde tries to stop him but they are intercepted by Ciseaux who picks off the wounded and exhausted troops with ease only leaving Hatsuho, Azami, and Anastasia capable of fighting back. And so they did with hammer, claws, and gun. Putting up a fight against Ciseaux and nearly beating him but being screwed over at the last minute by Naugus and his superior magic. Which swiftly devastated the trio and grounded them alongside their captain and mage.
"Shi-shi-shi-shi-shi! I owe you big old man! With this the Flower division is finished!" Gloated Ciseaux as Naugus prepared his finishing blow. A giant sphere of destruction that would wipe out the whole mountain range. Anastasia tries to stop the attack by firing at Naugus giant Kouma to no avail. Until the troll is suddenly weakened by a pillar of light that bursts out of the collapsed palace. "Hey old man y'all right?" The fat rabbit asks in concern before the two are rider kicked out of the sky by Sonic Arc appearing from the pillar causing them to crash into the ground as well.
Ost: Dragon: Shin Getter Robo
Both villians prepare for battle when Ciseaux is cut off by a familiar pink Mugen. "With this blade i'll restore peace to the city! Sakura Amamiya, engaging!" And such the four split apart for a series of one on one duels. With Sakura and a frustrated Ciseaux crossing blades.
"That's impossible! How did you manage to get in the robot!" Ciseaux screamed as he fired a barrage of missiles which were shot down by a pink wave of energy that also took the Prelude of balance followed by a series of sword strikes and body blows that shattered all the weapon emplacements and slashed apart the cape and coattails.
"It's called cheating! Deal with it! Divine sword: Cherry blossom blizzard!" Sakura's Imperial sword glows as she fires a horizontal projectile shock wave that cleaves thru the Prelude slicing it two and slicing Ciseaux in two causing his to combust and scream in agony.
"Noooooo! My Joker immunity!" Before exploding alongside his Prelude in a spectacular fashion.
With Sakura finishing it with a post mortem one liner. "Has been revoked!" As her Mugen expelled steam to cool down.
Sonic Arc was fighting the giant Kouma's tentacles with his Sonic tomahawk and speed. Slicing off all the tentacles and dodging all the spells being slung at him by Naugus who was surprised at the fact that Sonic was a giant robot now.
"Quickster! You never cease to surprise me! I see why my master simply decided to wait for you to grow old and die!"
"Well you know me! Always going further beyond!" As Sonic Arc launches a beam from its tomahawks finally causing damage to the giant Kouma. But with Tails noticing that the Kouma regenerates due to Naugus.
"Great! So doesn't this thing have more guns?!" Knuckles commented leading to stunned silence from his companions. "What?"
"That's it Knuckles!" Tails stated. "Remember what Sally studied? The Arc does have more guns! All we need to do is mode change!"
"Of course that's what I meant!" Knuckles stated in an embarrassed tone.
"Then Tails do the honors!" Sonic stated as their internal "cockpit" changed form with the walls changing colors from blue to yellow. And Tails being pushed to the front and center of the formation while Sonic and Knuckles are pushed to the sides.
"CHANGE TAILS ARC!" As those words are screamed out Sonic Arc begins to glow and split apart into its three components which begin to fly around the battlefield to the evil wizards confusion. Naugus simply begins shooting and flailing wildly at all directions unable to hit any targets until the trio meets again with Tails on top, Knuckles on center, and Sonic in bottom. Combining to form a Tails look alike super robot with a giant shield with nine funnels affixed to its right arm. The Getter 2 to Sonic Arc's Getter 1 based off long ranged firepower instead of high speed combat.
Memorize! The time has come! Body! Mind! Heart! Arc!

"What is this?!" Naugus bellows as he fires of a barrage of beams and tentacles all of which are blocked by Tails Arc massive shield which is made even larger by the barrier it creates that disintegrates the beams and tentacles into nothing. Followed by aiming the nine funnels at the Kouma and firing them in a barrage overwhelming the wizard. "I am not losing to a brat!" Naugus screams as he lunges forward tentacles drawn to lash the Arc which it avoids by separating into its three components and reforming behind him and firing a salvo of waist and knee mounted missiles. Knocking the Kouma into the mountain and forcing Naugus to lose control of the demon causing it to go out of control and rampage.
And while Naugus tried to regain control of the Kouma it quickly stopped that by stomping on the elderly troll crushing him like a grape before turning to the Arc and attacking it like a wild beast. Tails Arc holds it off and fires it funnels to gain distance against its berserk foe which responds by firing a blast of dark energy. Tails respond by forming a bit barrier and then firing back. But while they can hurt the Kouma it doesn't seem to be enough to fully kill it.
"How are going to stop this this thing?" Tails complains.
"Don't worry! Leave the final blow to me!" Sakura speaks out as she joins the battle against the berserk Kouma. "Kouma need to be defeated using spiritual energy. Focus your inner spirit into your blade and strike with all your might."
"Right..." Tails mutters as he focuses his inner power causing his left hand to glow and the Tails Arc hand to glow and spin like a drill as well. Growing in size and length until it became an energy drill. The two warriors charged the Kouma which launched all of its remaining tentacles. Sakura sliced them off with another Cherry Blossom blizzard while Tails pierced the core of the Kouma while detaching the drill and its bits which proceeded to blast the monster to pieces until the drill exploded taking out the Kouma once and for all.
After the explosion Sakura states "Giant demon eliminated! Time to fall back!" And the duo of Sakura's Mugen and Tails Arc land on the ground together. "Now, Shouri no pose!"
Knuckles asks. "Huh?"
"It's a Flower division tradition. Just pose! Yay!" And thus Sakura's Mugen and the Tails Arc do a victory pose while a camera takes a picture of the two.
"This is actually kinda cool." Sonic commented. "Maybe we should do it too."
Naugus meanwhile managed to survive being squashed by the Kouma and is now surrounded by the rest of the Resistance and Flower division. Weakened and surrounded he is forced to teleport away and retreat without making any more fuss.
The fight ends and the sun sets with the police managing to secure the hidden palace and the Resistance and Flower division ready to go their separate ways. Soujiro and Sally were finishing up their respective delegatory tasks while everyone else was resting up after the fight.
"Thanks for everything Princess Sally it really means a lot that you could help us so suddenly."
"It's fine, my father wants to foment cooperation between our nations anyways. So it was only natural.
As Sally leaves Sonic appears giving the squirrel princess a cup of warm coffee which she takes. "Well another job well done huh?"
"Indeed Sonic. Still i'm worried about what Naugus said." Sally mused as she blew and sipped her coffee. "He said that Madoka died in the past. You don't think he's talking about our Madoka or someone else entirely?"
"Don't be silly! Wait..." Sonic flashes back to the day when he met Professor Kagemusha and the words he said...
"Who am I? I'm the infamous traitor killer. The man who killed Madoka Kaname. The scientist who stole the flame of the gods and lived to tell about it! The legend! THE HYPE! Professor Kagemusha!" The masked man boasted starting from a subdued calm voice going to a complete large ham at the end complete with evil laughter.
"Does that mean that Professor Kagemusha guy knows about Madoka?" Sally wondered.
"He knows, and I have a feeling that he wanted us to rescue our Madoka. But why would the guy that killed Madoka be interested in rescuing her years later?" Sonic asked groaning in confusion over the whole thing. "Still what matters is that Madoka is Madoka. It doesn't matter if she is some goddess back from the dead. Or an ordinary girl who was frozen in a casket. Madoka is Madoka nothing more."
"Yeah you're right." Sally retorted.
Madoka meanwhile is all alone looking at the distance thinking at what Naugus said.
"Oh so you aren't aware? This girl is the spitting image of the legendary goddess that was responsible for the magical girl war. The entire genesis of our second history is because of the conflict over that girl. But of course Madoka Kaname was murdered. Betrayed and killed by those around her. Just like you soon will be!"
The pinkette clutches her head and mutters. "I simply can't remember. Who am I?"

And that's the end of Chapter 9 a chapter dedicated for info dumping and named after a Sakura Taisen sequel. Yep this is a crossover with Sakura wars. Unlike the Princess Tutu stuff this is mostly a filler episode though and used a bridging point between story arcs.
The bridge bunnies are named after and are expies of the Megaman X operator girls. Alia, Layer, and Palette. And are basically furry equivalents of the trio. They even share weapon and skill proficiency's. With Alias being a skilled programmer and engineer and using an arm cannon. Layer using a rapier sword, being a romanticist who specializes in enemy intel, and having a secret crush on a certain red hero, and Pallet being the childish gunslinger of the trio with knowledge of secret locations.
Ciseaux's Joker immunity comments are a reference to Lethal weapon 2 were the villain claimed diplomatic immunity to commit crimes.
