A large transport ship lands on the top of the mountainside after coming out of warp space. As the junker ship enters the mountainside base and passes thru the filter screens and is secured by clamps and cargo loaders. As the passengers disembarked the craft and then cargo is unloaded. Two young girls are taking their first step on a literal whole new world.
"Wow so this is an alien planet?" Touka Satomi remarked. As she looked at the spaceport alongside her companion. Another young girl from Earth that would have been in another world a Puella Magi as well.
Nemu Hiragii a young pig tailed girl in glasses holding a book who is being wheeled in by a motorized wheelchair.
"Touka-chan, you should stay focused." Nemu remarked as the duo looked at the hangar. Looking as various aliens and machines going in and out trough the base. "Are you sure that we will understand their language?"
"You did get those shots before getting on the ship right Nemu-chan?" Touka replies as Nemu nods in acknowledgment. Referring to the translation microbes that they were given before leaving Earth.
A small faceless child in a black tunic is wandering alone and trapped in the depths of a snowy blizzard. As the boy sinks deeper into the snow he stumbles into a dead end where he is surrounded by strange doll like monsters that sport large fangs and claws, long drooling tongues, tattered black robes, and blistered red skin. While the boy is tied with scolding hot chains that burn his body and proceed to choke and strangle his entire body. While the creatures assault him, going on to pummel, beat, and bite him. To the point of drawing blood, tearing off parts of his skin, and leaving his face unrecognizable. And overseeing it all. A gigantic laughing monstrosity. Whose hyena like sneer echoes across the furious blizzard. Its imposing dark silhouette. A giant hourglass that seemed to be reaching to the heavens raining fire and explosions across the distance as it continues laughing. Then another voice begins taunting the broken and battered child.
"Useless! What will you do? What will you become? Your family became victims of the magical girls before your very eyes, and still you are useless! Who else will die before you learn?! The magical girls took your life! They took your world! They took your face! Your name! Your identity and good name! And even now parade around defiling everything that you stood for! How will you make them pay? What will you take from them?"
"Everything." Suddenly the child's body explodes in a surge of power that annihilates everything. Disintegrating all in an apocalyptic green explosion.
Kagemusha is suddenly awakened by a Zero trooper. A more recently deployed mass produced cloned variant of the older masked robot. A crimson armored general known as Jango. Who essentially drags his senior off the tree branch he was sleeping on and into his jeep. When the duo drives off towards the mountainside. Kagemusha looks bored and indifferent towards the whole situation while Jango is completely serious and focused. Kagemusha can't help but look on in surprise though on how the cloning process has been perfected in the 15 or so years since he was originally made. As the current batch can survive independently without life support systems. And are expected to have an 80 to 100 year life expectancy like a baseline human being. It is expected that once the war is over they will simply integrate into the population and simply die out naturally over time while volunteers using the driver system will replace the bulk of the army.
As the jeep went up the mountain forest. Touka and Nemu were looking for their bags. Mostly Nemu as Touka was geeking out over the aliens and the advanced technology on display.

It is now the year 8932 of the second history. And thanks to this advancements made many years ago. The galaxy is heading towards a period of revolution. A new era is dawning. But what this new era entails is still unclear.
Jul 7 s.h. 8932, Iron gate, Chu-nan,
Iron gate. A massive fortress that marks the border between the Iron Dominion and the rest of Chun-nan. And a massive fortress famous for its massive and technologically advanced metal gates sticking out from ancient the stone walls and architecture of the rest of the dragon road. Its accompanying fortresses, and massive torches that never seem to burn out alongside rivers of molten metal which serve as both ambiance and as lethal traps.
"And everything changed when the Fire nation attacked." Rouge snarked over the communicator as Shadow oversaw the fortress which seemed eerily quiet and empty for a place that is supposed to be an important line of defense for the Eggman empire. The black blur quickly sped thru the militarized perimeter only to notice that outside the automated security systems and traps that are always active. The badniks, troops, and security drones aren't active anywhere. Before bursting into the middle of the barracks ready for a fight.
Only to find everything completely deserted. Everything empty and barren as if the literal rapture had happened.
"This is getting creepy..." Shadow remarks as he sees crashed vehicles cold and spoiled food left uneaten in the mess hall. Bathrooms full of unflushed urine and fecal waste. Which on second thought really isn't that unusual. As Shadow continues his trek. He is finally stopped by the titular iron gate. Which is a giant iron gate that stands heads and shoulders above everything else in the area.
Ost: Iron Abyss: Metal Sonic rebooted
Shadow looks at the gate as Rogue remarks on the infamous Iron gate. "So how do we get inside? Chaos Control? Chaos spear? Chaos blast?" Shadow quietly muses for a few moments and is then surprised by the opening of a small door next to the black hedgehog from which a bucket full of dirty soap water is chucked outside much to the surprise of both members of Team Dark. Before the door closes Shadow uses his speed to blitz inside it only to enter inside a strange new room. And to slip alongside the slippery wet floor causing Shadow to slip and crash into the floor much to his chagrin.
"Be careful there son! Floor's slippery." A male voice with a thick Texan accent warns Shadow who is now flat on his ass muttering. "I noticed..." Before being lifted up by a rather tall and top heavy mole like man in a militarized variant of the Eggman uniform. Tinted goggles, a fully prosthetic arm, and rather large buck teeth. As this strange creature helps Shadow much to his surprise before going back to his typical guarded self. Only for said man to introduce himself as the Foreman a member of the Nerd species and an Egg Boss who is typically in charge in charge of the overall energy production of the empire.

As Shadow looks around the room. He notices that the place he is in is some sort of strange underground bunker completely different in design from anything else in Chu-nan with numerous green crystals growing all around the area. "What is this place? This isn't Iron gate? And why is an Egg Boss cleaning?" The Foreman replies with. "Well pardner for questions one and two the answer is simple. This is the Iron gate. We're just deep underground in one of the Pandora's towers tunnels that are spread out all over Mobius like one of those techno organic implants that you and I are born with nowadays." Shadow reacts in surprise at the revelation. As while he is familiar with the Pandora's towers. This is new for him. "As for the third. I'm a bit of a neat freak myself. So I like to have my workspace squeaky clean." "Workspace?" The Foreman showed Shadow the area which was more of a tunnel with both ends locked and a bunch of equipment both of Eggman and ancient designs. Then the two enter a gate before exiting in the middle of the abandoned capital of the Iron Kingdom.
The Foreman explains "It seems the entire place has been raided. There ain't no soul left." Shadow runs thru the entire town only to find that The Foreman is correct. The entire settlement is also seemingly devoid of all sentient life. "Not just the Iron gate and capital. But all of the Iron Kingdom has been taken away by that strange catgirl." Shadow shocked at the news then sees The Foreman leave from the same door but not before warning him. "Be careful son. There are some dangerous critters that the catgirl left behind. Real unfriendly folks that like to maim and kill stuff." Before leaving Shadow to his own devices.
Rouge comments over the intercom. "Well that Egg boss was rather chatty." "Yes..." Shadow replies as Skullraisers poke out from the shadows with weapons in hands. Such as the typical sickles, guns, and improvised weapons like knives, broken bottles, and a rotting severed arm with a few fingers torn off. Rouge orders a retreat to which Shadow ignored stating. "It's just a bunch of goons its still good. It's still good." But then after getting surrounded some of the Raisers mutate into giant Skullfighters. Transformable fighter craft that have giant skull heads and giant skull wings that turn into legs that serve as guns and missile launchers. As well as a rotating cannon and vulcan guns all aimed at Shadow. Rouge tried once again to get her companion to leave as the twelve foot mecha aim their guns aim their guns at Shadow. "It's just the enemy revealing its final form! It's still good! It's still good!" While dodging shots and counterattacking Raisers and Fighters.
Then a large group of flying Skullfighters began swarming the skies and began bombing the city indiscriminately. Not caring if they blew up their own men in the process. "Shadow seriously! Get the hell out of there!" Rouge screams at Shadow's comm while the black blur is caught in the middle of the chaos. While Shadow stubbornly replies. "It's just a little airborne! It's still good! It's still good!" Then a bomb explodes right next to him cutting off communications with Rouge.
Ost: Radical Highway: Sonic Adventure 2 ost
Outside the Iron gate Rouge and Omega we're inside their own ship. Team Dark's Deathgleamer an old armed corvette takes off from the rocky cliff sides a fair distance away from the Iron gate and crossed the barren grasslands and broken roads that preceded the frontier to the Iron Dominion. As Team Dark's ship flies into the skies the dark doppelganger is forced to flee the capitol with dozens of Skullfighters following in hot pursuit. Shadow running towards a bridge as the Fighters fired wildly at the bridge blowing up abandoned vehicles and badniks. Causing them to explode all around Shadow as he dodged the explosions and shots and some of the Fighters landed on the ground and began walking on the ground and chasing Shadow as the chase heads into a tunnel. With the walking Fighters following suit and the flying ones mainly crashing and exploding into the mountain with the few the managed to survive managing to climb up and around the mountain.
Shadow continued running thru the underground tunnel system while the monsters followed with some of the Fighters activating their boosters to overtake Shadow. Only for Shadow to dodge the charges and use his agility to snipe the legs with his Chaos spear technique that cause the monsters to spiral out of control and crash into corners exploding in a colossal manner. While Shadow and the remaining Skullfighter continue the chase as the Fighters who went above the mountaintop land on the entrances on the other side and prepare to ambush the emo when he comes out.
Shadow then reached the end of the northern tunnel where he saw the Fighters take aim at the black hedgehog. Shadow quietly mutters to himself. "Seriously?" Before looking back and noticing that he is still being chased by the other Hunters who are also taking aim at Shadow and are all firing at the same place, at the same time. Only for him to jump over the massive the explosion and use it as a propellant to escape the ambush while the SkullFighters crash, collide, and explode on each other collapsing the northern tunnel. With Shadow escaping the mountain and the remaining mooks panicking to give chase anew.
The Deathgleamer finally catches up to Shadow and the Fighters as Rouge gives the order to provide covering fire. Omega takes aim and cheerfully states. "Mindless destruction! Finally!" And fires the ships heavy laser cannons at the Fighters catching them off guard and blowing them out of the sky while they were focusing on Shadow. As Team Dark finally rendezvous together and lowers the ship in order to pick up their comrade and leave. A certain uninvited guest and her stolen giant robot crashes the party. Swooping in from the mountains to kick away the Deathgleamer out of the sky and causing it to crash into the ground in a spectacular fashion. Before landing in a dramatic manner and screaming. "Hold the fucking frog legs nya!"

"Rouge! Omega!" Shadow screamed in horror as he tried to get to the crashed ship. As Hime used her hijacked Eggman robo MP's rifle to shoot Shadow while he was distracted. Landing a clean hit on the black blur which causes him to spiral into the ground. With the depraved cat girl laughing and stomping around boasting. "This is how you get shit done Thanos!" Before using the mechas left foot to crush Shadow's body. Leaving enough of his head to hear his screams of pain as Kuro slowly crushed him under 45 tons of giant robot. Meanwhile Omega and Rouge crawl out of the ships wreckage only to see the catastrophe. "Is that an Egg boss?" Rouge wonders. Only for Omega to load his missiles and fire the entire salvo them at the head of the robot. "Ponder later. Destroy now." "You're right Omega. Keep that lug busy while I look for Shadow." Rouge remarks as she sneaks off using the wreckage as cover while the explosion grab Kuro's attention. With the pink haired villianess looking at Omega who is reloading his weapons. "And who are you?" Omega replies with a deadpan. "Your mom." Before firing another salvo that strikes not just the eye but also the mech's joints. Forcing the Eggman robo to fall back and step off Shadow. Giving Rouge an opening to rescue Shadow and escape. "Shadow are you alright?" Rouge remarks as she carries off Shadow to safety. "Yeah I'll manage." Meanwhile Shadow is clearly in pain and struggling to stay up. While Omega capitalizes on the opening by firing a massive red beam on the center of the robot's torso. Leaving a massive gaping hole in its chest that heavily damaged the Eggman robo. Now panicking and on the defensive. Kuro raised her shield and activated its beam barrier as Omega continued his assault. While Kuro countered by firing her beam rifle and attempting to get mobile as the cockpit of the Robo began screaming alert after alert. While sparks and explosions could be heard all around. "You little shit!" Kuro screamed breaking her character completely. Now fully consumed by homicidal rage. "Just for that you die!"
Kuro continues to fire her beam rifle, But its clear that Omega is far too small and nimble for the Eggman Robo. Especially with the targeting system now glitching out with a damaged and nearly critical power reactor. Which Rouge is flying towards in secret. "Whoever this Egg Boss is. Is a real piece of crazy. Still gotta give them credit for going one on one against Omega and actually holding their own." Rouge manages to latch onto the Eggman Robo's back and manages to toss some sticky bombs into the interior of the exposed core before getting the hell out of dodge. Meanwhile Omega and Hime are violently trading blows until the later runs out of ammunition for her rifle. "Out of ammo? You've gotta be kidding me?!" Only for Omega to taze advantage of Hime carelessness yet again. And blow up her rifle and left hand into uselessness. Further riling up the cat girl into a frenzy as she tries to stomp and crush Omega only for the giant robot to short out and stop moving while Hime desperately tries to get the controls to respond. When Rouge detonates the bombs from a safe distance causing the Eggman Robo to explode from the inside out with the head popping out like a Russian tank with the catgirl along for the ride. And after several seconds of air time the wreckage lands nearby where Shadow is hiding with an amazing crunch. Leaving the entire grassy field a battered ruin of bodies, scrap metal, and broken wrecks as far as the eye can see.
As Kuro crawls out of the smoldering wreckage, bruised and battered. "Well this sucks. Oh well it could be worse. At least i'm not assaulted by a scary black man out for blood." That's when Shadow the hedgehog speed blitzed Hime and decked her flat on her ass. "Wanna bet? Let's see how you like it being someone's bitch?!" Hime freaks out screaming. "Oh hell! Stranger danger! Stranger danger!" As Shadow slowly moves in for the finishing blow when a massive explosion consumes the area once again and another giant robot erupts from the chaos, While Shadow escapes with Chaos control reuniting with Rouge and Omega as the trio watch in horror as they realize. "Guys, that is not an Eggman Robo." As a gigantic skeletal being comes into view.
A Wicca Gamma is finally revealed and alongside it a pair of Wicca Beta's and Wicca Alpha's as backup. Who begin shooting up the battlefield with wild abandon lighting it ablaze with particle beams and missiles. "The roof! The roof! The roof is on fire! We don't need no water! Let the motherfuckers burn! Let the motherfuckers burn!" Kuro rejoices as the balance of power shifts once again in her favor as Team Dark looks on in horror. Rouge remarks. "I don't know who this Egg boss is. But she is going too far!"
At the same time in Pottery palace zone
Another part of Chu-nan at the other end of the Great wall. It is a canyon famed for having an entire ancient city made of mud constructs including the centerpiece of the city Yutang lake. A large circular lake with a Pandora tower half sunken in the exact center of it. On the eastern rim Metal Sonic is confronting a giant desert tortoise like creature with a tree growing on its back. That maintains itself blinded with a blindfold. The admin of the Cyan tower and the hidden grand master of the Shujin temple, Master Shujin.

Ost: Gods: New Getter Robo Vocal Collection
Metal Sonic is trying to get answers from Master Shujin. Who is simply floating in the water ignoring Metal Sonic who at this point is losing his patience at the fact that he is just being ignored by the giant turtle creature of mysterious origins. "Hey you! Turtle man! Listen to me!" Master Shujin just ignored the tortoise as an earthquake shook the lake as Metal Sonic loses his balance as the water of the lake churns and a giant soup dumpling as tall and wide as a fully grown man. Rises from the lake and makes its way to the shore right next to Metal Sonic before stopping who in his confusion states. "Is that a jelly doughnut?" Before poking it. Master Shujin speaks. "Actually that is a dumpling." Before the mysterious giant dumpling erupts dosing Metal Sonic in fish, celery, black fungus, and some sort of secret sauce on the mechanical doppelganger. While a shining light flies away into the distance leaving a young naked girl with short red hair and bits of fish and celery covering her naughty parts.
The shining light traveled all the way to where the fight between Team Dark and Kuro was continuing as the latter robots were advancing relentlessly while Omega and Shadow were trying to fight back in vain. Shadow demands to know if Rouge can fly the Deathgleamer as his Chaos shield is bombarded by a barrage of firepower. "Rouge is the ship ready?" Rouge meanwhile is trying to hot wire the spaceship so its engine can activate. "It's no good! Engines, shields, weapons, everything is cut off!" Shadow is forced to his knees and Omega finally runs out of ammo as Hime prepares to give the finishing blow using her Gamma to squash the trio inside the ship. As The Wicca Gamma lands on top of the Deathgleamer the shining light intercepts Team Dark with Hime victory being stopped as Omega Arc rises from the Deathgleamer carrying Kuro and her Wicca much to the former trio's surprise and the latter's horror.

21st Century Boy: Getter Robo Go
"Wha-wha-wha-wha-what?!" Kuro screamed as she was being in mid air by the Getter robo counterpart and then is nonchalantly tossed away into the distance like a sack of potatoes all the while screaming like a little girl until she crashes into the ground with an amazing crash. All while her underlings simply stood there and watched.
Kuro who is now flat in the ground with a battered mech. Looks at the armada of giant robot minions and screams out. "Well don't just stand there and stare like a bunch of Chinese spam bots! Support!" The other Wicca's then respond with. "Well you have wonderful glossy pink fur." "You're the best liar in the organization." "And you're the only competent general as well." "Pettanko is life!" Hime angrily retorts with. "I mean shoot the giant bastard over there!" To which the other Wicca's scramble to go fight Omega arc. All the while the girl remarked quietly under her breath. "Still it did make me feel better though." The battle continues as the Alphas and Betas continue their battle sending more giant SkullFighters as backup.
With the Skullfighters surrounding Omega and firing their cannons on the former to no avail. With the Alpha's ganging up as well. Punching and kicking the bulky armored mecha all to no avail as all the blows just shrug off Omega Arc's thick armor. Omega remarks. "So is this supposed to hurt?" While Shadow comments. "Let's see what kind of crazy attacks this thing has." Suddenly Omega's arms extend sideways and turn into giant missile silos that fire colossal missiles that nuke the entire field destroying the SkullFighters and knocking away the Alphas. While Shadow and Omega use the robot to give each other a fist bump. "Up high!" "Down low!" Rouge the only one who is concerned about the current situation remarks. "Guys, we just turned into a giant combining super robot. Shouldn't we be more concerned about what just happened than geeking out over the pretty boom booms?" The Alphas get up and lunge at Omega while the Betas hold on to him while firing off their cabin flames. Omega grabs one of the Alpha's heads crushing it with ease and while the other Alpha avoids the other arm it does not avoid getting dive bombed into the ground and getting a chainsaw to the back of the head. The Betas charged forward launching their missiles and Gatling cannons which Omega dodges by splitting apart dodging every attack by dodging every attack and assault and recombining behind the Beta duo and Hime and unleashing a massive particle cannon from it's arms that is at least three times longer than Omega arc is tall and drops stabilizing spikes that crack the ground itself. With Shadow and Omega reciting a badass boast in unison.
"If God gets in our way, he'll get cut down!" "If the devil does the same, then he'll be shot!" "We fight because we want to!" "We crush because we want to!" "The words "just cause" means nothing to us!" "Inferno! Blaster!" Omega Arc's cannon then fires a red hot particle beam of energy massive enough to not only consume both Beta's in one shot. With Kuro and her Gamma only avoiding vaporization thanks to the former's piloting skills. As she quickly took to the skies. But the entire mountain range that was used for the ambush behind them was also obliterated in the explosion. In a cataclysmic and spectacular manner. Rouge looked on rather impressed. "Okay i'll admit. That is some impressive boom boom." As light consumed the Omega Arc once again.
Kuro who is flying in the sky. Horrified at the destruction that occurred. "Holy shit! That, could have been me!" Suddenly a mysterious shadow shows up behind Hime with glowing yellow eyes and drill. With massive demonic bat wings exploding from said shadow. With reveals itself as Rouge Arc who coolly states. "My turn." And launches her arm drill at the Gamma at high speeds whom futilely ties to defend herself. Only to the Rouge drill to shatter the Gamma's left arm causing it to explode. Rouge goes in for the kill only to be blocked by bones that erupt from the Gamma. And a bone arm that replaces the lost arm housing a femur that serves as an impromptu club. Which Hime uses to bash in Rouge's head in. And then go in the offensive as drill and bone clash in epic mid air duel. Which causes both mech to strike each other on the side.
"Enough!" Hime counters by having both her arms change into multiple spider like drill limbs that all assault Rouge at different angles. And having her Gamma grow into a massive size. Far eclipsing Rouge Arc, the mountains and field and anything in the immediate area. The sheer power emitted by said transformation is felt by all nearby.
Great calamity's theme
Ost: Theme of the Seven Deities
Said power was witnessed by the Foreman who contacted Dr. Eggman himself commenting. "Doctor it seems we have a problem." Felt by Master Shujin and Metal Sonic the former of was stunned in horror. Something that Metal Sonic noticed with the redheaded girl beginning to regain consciousness. Metal began to activate his engine in order to head to the location but was stopped by Eggman. "Metal return to base. That's an order!" "But..." Metal hesitated as he looked at the girl. "Also take the girl back with you. It seems that that girl has some unusual energy readings coming from her." Metal scanned the girl noticing the energies of the lass. Bunker the tortoise and the disciples of the Shujin temple also sense the power even though they are currently hiding deep underground. While Dulcy is trying to calm down the students and refugees. Bunker quietly looks on in concern. The surge of power also heads to outer space where it is felt by the people in the moon. Including the dragonkin who panic and hide inside their huts. Except Master Hebi and his dragonkin assistants Cider and Genma. Who watch as darkness covers the Earth and a purple meteor heads towards said darkness.
Back on Mobius the battle continues the now gigantic Hime is facing off Shadow Arc baring out its ten drill arms and bellowing. "Behold! I'm fucking invincible!" As the Gamma swings its drill arms at the Arc. Who dodges the blows and summons its scythe to parry them next. Afterwards the fight continues as Shadow continues fending off the massive drills. Cutting off hand after hand. Only for the Gamma to grow more new ones and then launch all of them at once. Shadow counters by spinning his scythe at high speeds causing the arms to be shaved off into filings as Team Dark presses forward. Much to Hime's ever increasing horror punctuated by an increasing series of rapid fire no's as Shadow Arc comes closer until Hime runs out of defensive arms. Leaving her alone, face to face with Shadow. Who quietly raises his weapon. Wills it to grow and plunges it into the Wicca Gamma's forehead. Burying it deep in its head/cockpit. Causing its visor to shed green tears of blood. Before a geyser of said green stuff erupts from the cleaved injury and the mecha shuts down and crashes into the ground as a lifeless heap.
The Gamma dissipated showing Hime's lifeless body with Shadow Arc's Shadow scythe still cleaved deep into its skull. With a puddle of purple ooze passing off as blood around her. With Team Dark touching down the ground all seemed well. When the purple comet fired a powerful beam into the ground Striking the mighty Arc from the sky with such force that a stories high mecha is swung into the air from the sheer force of the blast. The mysterious hooded general Kuro then floats down to Hime's battered corpse with a wicked smile in her face. "Well, well, well. You fucking bitch! Not so high and mighty now huh?!" Kuro lands next to the corpse and pulled out a belt worn driver known as the Circe driver. The dark driver then activates and forces chains into Hime's body reviving the catgirl by force by forcing the scythe out the wound in a violent manner and pulling the body up like a shambling puppet. "Unfortunately I can't have you die yet. Since even though my beloved has finally awakened. I still need you to make our foot soldiers." Kuro then witnesses Shadow Arc getting up for more and simply states. "Hime, do something right for once." Hime with a blank expressionless gaze and the gaping wound in her forehead still visible simply groaned in obedience and used the Circe driver to trap Shadow Arc in numerous unbreakable chains that then began to painfully to bury themselves into Team Dark. Causing the trio to scream in pain as they were corrupted and brainwashed by Hime while Kuro watched. As they tried to escape by changing forms and doing anything to escape. During all of this Walter Naugus was stuck exploring the hidden depths of the Acorn Archipelago. By being swept along a waterway until dropping into a large, deep, chasm that lands the surly troll in a strange dark catacomb.

"Seriously what the hell is going on?" I thought this was supposed to be the Trolls secret..." Naugus then notices he has just landed in a giant pile of skulls much to his shock and horror. And then notices the rest of the place. A dark tomb full of poisonous water. Hanging mummies, various torture equipment, prison cells, and the very surfaces themselves being made of dead bodies. With numerous bits of corpses sticking out in numerous parts of the walls, floor, and ceiling. Composed of all kinds of lifeforms. Both organic and inorganic, men, women, children, machines, beasts. It didn't matter. All were crushed and mixed into the foundation of the catacomb as a grisly disposal method. Walter could even make out babies among the dead. "What the GODDAMN FUCK is this place?!" Naugus remarked as he dropped the skull he was holding in sheer horror and visceral disgust when a voice from the ether responded.
"This is the Shadow Cistern... Here lies Earth's blood stained history of greed and hatred..."
Naugus couldn't believe what he was hearing. Earth? The ancient home of the human race? Preposterous! Everyone knows that Earth was destroyed due to the magical girl war. Naugus decided to ignore the voice and press forward. He just knew that his goal was somewhere and he was going to find it. No matter what. The stubborn troll continued exploring the Cistern. Facing the many horrors and death traps within. From being assaulted by Re dead hordes. Which are basically Zelda rape zombies Followed by Gibdo's Which are screaming rape mummies also from Zelda. Followed by Dead hands. Another Zelda zombie which does not rape but is a cannibal with a taste for heads. After fighting past all of those Naugus faced off against the head zombie Bongo Bongo a giant headless zombie who plays the drums. There was no fight. But he did challenge the mage to a duel of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Finally after an epic match that lasted an entire afternoon. The exhausted magician finally leaves the catacombs as a broken mess via the back door.

"Oh shut up!" Naugus screams at the sky to whomever would hear. As he finds himself in a narrow pathway surrounded by numerous gravestones. Among the names inscribed in the tombs were things like. "Here lies Tingle. Now that I think about it. Why were those zombies so obsessed with raping me anyways? I mean they are rotting corpses so technically they shouldn't have a penis. But it was the act itself that was disturbing." "R.I.P. Power Rangers. 1993-2003, Star Wars. 1977-2012 Cinematic universes. 2008-2019. These franchises were taken from us by the vile hands of Disney. They are now among the angels... And the online piracy hubs. F-ZERO. It's racing! In Space! Stop being a pussy Nintendo!" "Megaman Legends. 1997-2000. Still stuck on the moon, FOREVER."
As Naugus left the tunnel he found himself above the outskirts of a large abandoned city. Believing himself to finally have reached the hidden location of then Ixis that he had been looking for he flew down the cliff only to find that his magic was suddenly neutralized and that he soon ended up crashing down in the middle of a local park.

The troll tried to summon his powers again only to fail. "Curses! This day has been nothing but misfortune!" He then notices how unusual this city is. Instead of an abandoned troll ruin. He found a relatively modern town, empty, abandoned, seemingly for a very long time. Yet there is no decay or ruin. "It's as if time itself has stopped completely." Naugus then notices a large radio tower in the center of the town. Which Naugus quickly notices, heading to the giant tower that reaches the heavens.

The chapter's name is based on the album Chinese democracy. Because the chapter takes in the equivalent of China. And how goddamn long chapters are taking to come out.
The Foreman Egg Boss is based on both versions of the Foreman of the Sonic Archie comics. With his personality and especially his voice being based on the Engineer from Team Fortress 2.
The Shadow Cistern Zone is a completely original zone to the story not based on any previous Sonic lore. If anything its essentially inspired by the Ancient Cistern and the Shadow Temple from the Legend of Zelda as it is a beautiful picturesque ancient sewer system meant to bury the long lost dark secrets of the true rulers of Mobius. Which is the Pandora conspiracy and the towers that manage the planet itself. And much like the very forbidden tower from Chapter 1. It is a forbidden area that is not meant to be accessed by anyone.
The same can be said about Pottery Palace. A zone that is inspired by the Chinese hidden city tombs of ancient emperors. It's essentially an entire city made out of clay with a giant lake in the center which is a giant soup pot. With Yutang lake being named after Yutang soup. A Chinese fish soup with the entire lake basically being a giant earthenware pot.
