Captain Marvel was pretty good. It's just one of the few films that shows that a woman, like a man, can kick-butt, and that is what Hayley and Francine likes to see.

First off, the opening Marvel logo was a nice tribute to Stan Lee. It was nice to see what he meant to the company, and his impact in a nice few seconds. I'm still going to miss him, everyone is. He, of course made a brief cameo in this film. He's going to be two more this year. Now, onto the movie!

Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers is assigned to go on a mission, involving shape-shifting aliens and war. A young Nick Fury (without the eyepatch) goes on this quest with her. A cat named Goose (yes, Goose), also goes with them.

This film tells you how Nick got his eyepatch. I'm not telling you how. You'll have to see for yourself.

Like every Marvel film, this film has two scenes at the end, one in the mid credits, and one at the end. And ja, I'm not telling you about them. You also have to see for yourself.

So if you like Marvel, and seeing a woman kick-butt, this film is for you. It's also one of the last films to see Stan Lee alive!

RIP to all of those 49 people killed in New Zealand mosques. America is with all the ones who were affected and their families in this terrible tragic senseless event. I'm saying they are, but I'm sure they are even if they never knew of the attacks. If the President can speak for America, I, a German fish should too.
