While we are on lockdown, Disney has been busy and releasing these cute shorts for the kids. We didn't ask for them, but we're glad they did. They may be for the kids, but really, it's for everyone.
The shorts are called 'At Home with Olaf.' They, as you might guess have to do with Olaf the snowman from the Frozen series. There are 21 shorts in all. The majority of each under a minute long. Even non Olaf or Frozen fans might find these cute and enjoyable. Maybe. You still got to appreciate Disney for doing this though.
Hayley discovered this series from looking at YouTube. She clicked on one of the shorts one day, loved it, showed us all, and the rest is history. Steve even showed his friends.
The shorts are all made from home and voiced from home by Josh Gad (voice of Olaf). It's amazing what they can do all from their houses. Technology really helps during this time. I can't imagine what past generations did with stay at homes orders without having access to what we have now. I know this might sound cliche, but I honestly don't care. We really are lucky.
Again, Disney might've made these for the kids, but we adults are bored too and needs to be entertained just as much. So thank you, Disney. Thank you, Olaf. Thank you Frozen crew for putting out content that everyone can enjoy and for making us smile and chuckle in these difficult times. I don't know if Disney will make more shorts based on the same thing or of different movies and shows. But this might go down in history to show future generations what this company did for us during the 2020 pandemic, showing us all that we are not alone.
