March 16th

On March 7th, CBS aired a two hour (with commercials) interview of Meghan Mackle and Prince Harry and the same interview five days later. Oprah did the interview. The first half was with Meghan and the second half is when Harry joined in. They talked about Archie, how the Royal Family treated Meghan, Harry being cut off, suicide, and the newest member that'll join them this summer.

The Royal Family and Meghan had a toxic relationship. Meghan said that it was stated that she made Kate Middleton cry when in fact, it was the other way around. Meghan also told a very shocked Oprah that someone talked with Meghan about Archie's skin tone possibly being dark. It was also stated that Archie wasn't given a title when he was going to be born like the rest of the Royal Family. Meghan also revealed to Oprah that how she was being treated was the reason she was deperessed and had the dark thoughts of suicide. Harry said that he got cut off from the family. He also mentioned his late mother and she would be very proud of him. Seeing that she might've been treated similarly, I bet she would. She would be very, very proud.

Now I don't know much about the Royal Family, but the way they treated her, it's no wonder why she wanted to step back. And Harry, being the supportive husband that he is, joined her. He said he didn't know that he was trapped being a member of the Royals until Meghan married him. Good thing they escaped when they did. I would too if I was being treated like that. That's no way to treat anybody. You think a Royal would have respect for everyone in the Palace. I also know that her father, her own father, betrayed her, so she's not really happy with her dad either. That may or may not have been in the interview, no really I can't remember or it something I read about later. I think it was in the interview. I'm just not sure and don't want you guys to call me out on it. Poor Meghan. Can this woman get a break?

But it wasn't all bad. Kate did own up and apologise to Meghan. Best of all, Meghan let Harry tell Oprah the good news, that they are expecting a girl this summer.

In conclusion, it may be tradition, but sometimes someone might come along and if they don't like it, they can leave. It's Meghan's own decision, as well as Harry's. It's their life. They are all human beings like all of us (okay, not me obviously.) They should be able to do whatever they please. I skipped a few things, but if you google about it and search it on the Internet, I'm sure you're find the rest of this interview and see what was said in all of its entirety.

Hayley agreed with this too. She loved the way that Meghan is marching the beat to her own drum, and took Harry and Archie with, especially after hearing and watching this bombshell interview. I can kind of relate. I wish I can escape this family sometimes like she and her hubby did.

I'm glad that the two are happy now with their dogs and Archie. I'm glad that good things are coming their way and that they are about to welcome a baby girl. I'm glad that despite them being disappointed with this decision, the Royal Family seems to be somewhat supportive and allowing them to live their lives. I just wish the very best for Meghan, Archie, Harry, and thier new baby girl and that eventually in time, their relationship would heal.
