Sony released yet another good animated film on Netflix this year. That makes it three good movies in one year, Micheals Vs the Machines, Wish Dragon and now it's musical. Vivo, which I think it's the best one out of the three. And oh yeah, all of the musical numbers were good too, especially the ones sung by Lin.

Vivo is a kinkajou (looks like a monkey) from Havana, Cuba voiced by the always talented Lin-Manuel Miranda who performs with his owner, Andre. Andre gets a letter by his old lover to perform with her in Miami before she retires. Vivo doesn't like the idea, and tries to stop him from going, but of course, fails.

But the following morning, Vivo finds out that Andre had died in his sleep. Feeling guilty, he decides to deliver the letter himself. He gets to the Sunshine State with the help from a 10-year-old girl, Gabi and her mother. Gabi decides to help Vivo deliver the letter, but of course, on the way, they have some problems.

Sony may have had some bad films over the years, but they're proving that they have what it takes on Netflix. This, I, beleave has Oscar potential. I knew by this trailer and the fact that Lin stars in it and wrote music for it, will be good, and I wasn't disappointed. Go see it and you won't be disappointed either. Sony, if you keep making films like these, maybe, just maybe, you might be one of the greats like Disney.
