Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, sequel to the awesomeness of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse didn't disappoint and was a very good film just like my family and I knew that it would be. The people behind the first film knew that the first was so beloved, so they wanted to not screw up on this film and it shows.

There's a new villain called the Spot that Miles has to stop. He faces another villain too. He is so busy stopping crime that he's late for a meeting at school with his parents. He also meets a group of people known as The Spider Society with his friend, Gwen Stacy, AKA Spider-Woman,

Now I'm not going to give you any spoilers, but this is only part one of two.

The art style is the same as the first film, great! It makes it feels like a comic book, which is fitting. Because Spider-Man started out as a comic like a lot of Marvel and DC superheroes.

So will this film win best picture at the Oscars like it the first? Maybe, who can say? I can't see into the future. I'm only a fish. But, maybe a nominee at the very least? Again, I can't say for sure.

But if you liked the first one, you would most definitely like this one. And if you haven't seen the first one, what have you been doing with your life? The first one won an Oscar for a reason. Afterwards, go and see this one. And after this one, wait until the next one, depending on when that'll be and maybe the writer's strike. It always depends on the strike. But let's just hope that the strike doesn't last too long, so TV shows and movies affected by it can continue and people can see them, the writers and crew and cast can get their money, and the cycle can continue again and again.
