At Borg Tower, Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Cole, Nya, Geoff, Gewuji, Blake and P.I.X.A.L. enter the main hallway before walking toward the elevator, enter it. "I really hope Cyrus Borg's figured out what's going on with that game we found at The Mechanic's lair." Lloyd said before the elevator door closes behind them. The elevator soon started to move up.
The elevator makes its way to the 100th floor. "Welcome to Floor 100." An automated voice said before the elevator opens to Cyrus' office and see Cyrus wheeling himself over to them. The arcade cabinet from The Mechanic's hideout was behind him with industrial tape around it.
"Ah, Ninja." He said before nervously chuckling. "Your little game has kept me quite busy."
"What have you discovered, dad?" Blake asked as they came out of the elevator.
"A new appreciation for the designer, Milton Dyer." Cyrus turns his wheelchair around and wheels himself to a nearby console with them following him.
"He designed a pretty killer security system on Dyer Island, too." Kai said.
Cyrus nervously stammers. "More impressive than mine?"
"Do you have robot dogs?" Gewuji asked, making Geoff shudder. "Because he had robot dogs."
Cyrus nervously mumbled before turning around to face the Ninja and P.I.X.A.L. "I've run diagnostics on the cabinet and this game is far more complex than anything I've ever seen. Even more than our ill fated Digiverse, Blake." He turns back to the console and presses a button to show some files. "It's a virtual world, made up of different zones, inside the game.
"So, Jay's in one of those zones?" Nya asked.
"Not just Jay." He straightens his glasses a little. "The game's player count has exploded. Over 800 players..." Nya gasped. "...are now trapped inside the game."
"All the people who reached Level 13 and disappeared into the cabinet!" Geoff said, looking at it.
All files on the monitor start to turn red. "The world inside, Prime Empire, is controlled by Unagami." The Prime Empire symbol soon appeared.
"And Unagami is Milton Dyer." Zane said.
"Which means there are two ways to deal with this."
"Finding Dyer in real life, and stop him, or... enter the game, just like Jay did, and stop Dyer's avatar, Unagami." Blake said, looking at the cabinet as Cyrus wheeled himself to it.
"I think we should divide up and go for both at the same time." Lloyd replied.
"I'm afraid Zane and P.I.X.A.L. cannot enter the game." Cyrus said. "The Prime Empire code is so complex, it could overwrite your programming."
The two Nindroids were soon shocked. "I like my ones and zeroes just the way they are, thank you." P.I.X.A.L. replied.
"Then we'll stay here and track down Dyer in real life." Zane said, placing a reassuring hand on her.
"Blake, there might also be a chance that you could also be overwritten, because you're a clone and have a prosthetic arm." Cyrus said.
"I don't care, dad." Blake replied, folding his arms. "I may be a clone, but I'm human too. I'm going."
"Then, I'll stay here with Zane and Pix." Gewuji said. "I'm not much of a game enthusiast."
"And I'm gonna reach Level 13 and crack this baby wide open!" Cole said, ducking underneath the tape to head for the cabinet. He soon turned it on to start playing.
A few minutes in, Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Nya, Geoff, Gewuji, Blake and P.I.X.A.L. patiently wait for Cole to start the game before Cyrus turned to Gewuji. "Uh, Gewuji, I think you should look at this." He said before tapping a few keys. "This recording was taken not long after Prime Empire started."
The monitor shows some camera footage, which showed Hayden at an arcade cabinet, playing Prime Empire before backing away when the cabinet opens up to a bright light and he enters it before the cabinet closed, leaving his police hat behind. "Not Mantis too." Gewuji said to herself as Geoff placed a hand on her right shoulder before she turned to Lloyd. "I've changed my mind. I'm going in." Lloyd nods in agreement.
"We will find him, Gewuji." He replied.
An alarm soon goes off, and everyone turns to a nearby monitor showing a drone's point of view was now on the monitor, showing Bastion catching up with some inmates in the elevator before the door closes, which everyone sees. "How the hell did The Mechanic get out of Kryptarium?" Zane asked as the monitor was now showing the elevator camera's point of view. "And there's Ultra Violet..."
"Bastion." Blake said, noticing his brother.
"Aliil and Grunin, too." Geoff said.
"They must have broken out of prison, thanks to Unagami." Gewuji replied.
"But, why did they come here?" Nya asked.
Blake turns to the cabinet. "They want the cabinet." He replied before heading to the console and presses a button, shutting the elevator down.
Suddenly, Cyrus notices the elevator was working again. "Damn it!" He said, wheeling himself towards some controls.
"Bastion must've reactivated it." P.I.X.A.L. replied.
"But how?" Lloyd asked.
"We're clones, Lloyd." Blake replied, reminding him. "We share the same DNA and fingerprints as Cyrus Borg."
"Then I should've randomly altered the DNA and fingerprints when I cloned you all." Cyrus said as he presses a button, deleting his palm print from the database.
Suddenly, they look up at the monitor to see The Mechanic, Bastion, Aliil, Ultra Violet, Grunin and the inmates running up the stairwell. "Let's go fight them off!" Kai said.
"No, wait!" Cyrus replied, typing a few keys. "I'm initiating my building's defences." He turns to them. "It'll attack anything that moves, including you if you go down there!"
"We're Ninja." Lloyd said, disliking the idea. "We can't just sit out of a fight."
"Fight the opponents in the game. You just reach Level 13 before the real enemies get up here." Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Nya, Geoff, Gewuji, Blake and P.I.X.A.L. head over to Cole, who was still at the cabinet.
"How's it going?" Nya asked.
Cole sighs while wiping sweat off his forehead. "Harder than expected, but I'm almost done customising my avatar." He replied. The monitor showed a player character in underwear before being given monkey suit. He then switches it for an avatar with green hair and a bone in it, and a pink shirt. He then switches it for a cowboy costume.
"What?" Kai asked. "You haven't even started the game yet?"
He turned to Kai, annoyed. "Winning's all about confidence. I gotta look cool when I'm fighting."
"You look cool when you waste time!" Gewuji said, jumping over the tape while angered and pushes him aside. "Get out of my way!" She then started to choose the avatar.
"Hey!"
She then finds a kabuki avatar which is in a teal coloured yukata. "Now, this one is perfect." She presses the blue button, starting the game.
"Can I play it now?"
"NO! I'm doing this for Mantis." She starts to move the controls a little.
"Ah, you'll just mess it up, give it to me!"
Cole immediately came up next to Gewuji to try and force her away from the cabinet. "Get off, you fat bastard!" She elbows him in the gut, making him move back, and Kai and Blake grab hold of him.
"Let Gewuji play, Cole." Lloyd said. "Hopefully, she gets through it."
"Now we'll see who has the better security system." Cyrus said to himself, referring to the Dyer Island's security system. "Robot dogs?" He scoffs. "Robot dogs are for amateurs!" He presses a button.
(A/N: Ooh, Hayden's gone into Prime Empire. Take a guess at what he'll be doing in it)
