DCDGojira - Christina was a joke reference to Spider-Man: The New Animated Series. The girl who was obsessed with Spider-Man and even believed they were soulmates
After the whole thing that happened with the High Voltage duo, things started to cool back down again in San Fransokyo. The crew was just going about their everyday school day as if nothing changed.
Fred brought over a small plate filled with some odd-looking meatloaf. It didn't look like any meatloaf any of them have ever seen before, and some of them have seen May's burnt loaf before.
"What the heck is that?" Peter asks his friend.
"It's mystery loaf!" Fred informed him. "Because it's mystery loaf Monday!"
"So you have no idea what's in that thing?" Hiro asks.
"Well, then it wouldn't be a mystery, wouldn't it?" Fred said as he got ready to eat it.
Baymax leaned over and started to scan it. "Although it does not have the shape, color, or texture of any natural foods, consuming it will not cause permanent damage."
"Well, that's good enough for me," Fred said as he cuts himself a slice. And then he eats some of it, getting disturbed looks from everyone. "Mm, I detect notes of beef by-product...or is it hairnet? No, no, it takes like...cilantro?!" Then he reached over and grabbed GoGo's water and chugged it down on her. "I'll eat around it."
And that's when a chem ball fell from Honey Lemon's purse and into Fred's meatloaf and annihilated it. Fred became disappointed when he saw his food turn into a pile of goo and looked across the table.
"Oops. Sorry, Freddie." Honey Lemon said as she got back to filling her purse.
Hiro quickly moved his burger out of the way. "Honey Lemon, this might not be the best place to reload your chem-purse."
"Maybe not, but this is the way I get to mix my two favorite things." Honey Lemon admitted as she finished refilling it. "My best friends and chemistry. All done!"
Then Wasabi came running into the cafeteria and hugged Honey. "Honey Lemon! You're alive! I didn't think I'd ever see you again!"
"What?" Teresa asks, feeling she missed something. "What did I miss?"
"Did you go mad scientist again?" GoGo took a guess.
"Oh, it was no big deal. My roommate made lemonade, and I tried out a new formula for instant ice." Honey Lemon explained, which means that she basically froze her entire dorm room. "Don't worry, my roommate's totally fine. In fact, she's right over there."
There was indeed a student completely frozen with a look of terror on her face. Most of them were wondering why and how she managed to get there without them noticing.
"I'd have taken a few days off after being...frozen," Peter stated.
"Yeah, right." Teresa scoffed, knowing her brother would find a way and or reason to still come to school even if he was frozen.
"Hi, Regina!" Honey said as she went over to her roommate, causing her face to turn from terror to anger. "Sorry...again."
"So...where are you gonna live now until your dorm thaws?" Peter ponders.
"Peter, the world is a good place," Honey said with that optimism they were used to. She then suspiciously eyed GoGo at that last part. "Something will work out."
GoGo just sat there with Peter and blew a bubble, thinking she knows what Honey was thinking but decided not to go into it. But that didn't stop Fred from going there.
"You have your own place, don't you, GoGo?" Fred asks her.
"You live in a giant mansion, don't you, Fred?" GoGo reminded him.
"I do, but my parents insist on a three-year evaluation of overnight guests," Fred explains as he goes to reading a comic book.
"Can never be too careful," Wasabi said as he used a pincher on a fry, dipping both ends in superstar containers of ketchup and...mayo? "Lots of weirdos out there."
"And I live with my brother, sister, and aunt," Teresa added on. "The place so crowded enough as it is."
"Well, you wouldn't like my place anyway," GoGo said as Honey pulled out her pleading happy eyes. "It's a sketchy neighborhood."
"There's no such thing as a bad neighborhood." Honey Lemon proclaimed with pride. "Just bad attitudes."
"I wish I could bottle that girl's optimism," Peter commented to Teresa. "We'd be able to down crime overnight in seconds."
"I've thought the same thing sometimes." Teresa had to admit she agreed.
"How big of a smile would it take to get a yes?" Honey asks her friend and started to go with a small smile and it grew from there.
"She can go bigger, I promise you," Teresa warned GoGo.
GoGo sighed and just gave in, not wanting to suffer like this anymore. "Fine."
"Yay!" Honey cheered as she pulled GoGo in for a hug.
"A move?" Wasabi got strongly excited as he jumped to his feet. "Oh, I am so in. This is totally my jam."
"See? When you have amazing friends, no problem is too big." Honey said as GoGo stood up with a sigh.
"I think I saw that on a bumper sticker on a bashed-up old car in a junkyard," GoGo replied in her usual snarky attitude. She then reached over and grabbed her glass. "Anyone needs anything? My glass is half empty."
"Actually, it's half full." Honey Lemon corrected her.
Baymax however had a different interpretation. "I have scanned the glass. It is 51.2 percent filled."
GoGo then quickly chugged the whole glass down in seconds and placed it back on the table. "It's empty!"
As she walked off to get another drink, Peter decided to sneak off to talk with her. "Hey."
"Hey." GoGo started to ease down a bit on the sarcastic tone and seemed genuinely happy.
"So... Honey Lemon is gonna be your roommate." Peter recapped her situation as she went to a machine to get something to drink.
GoGo sighed at the reality of her situation. "Yep. This is gonna be a disaster."
"What?" Peter asked with a chuckle. "If you were stuck with a roommate, you couldn't have found a better choice. I mean, there are so many worse choices in the world."
"I'd choose Scorpia over her," GoGo stated.
Peter considered that and saw they would get along. "Yeah, I can really see that." But then he got to the matter at hand. "But, hey, this is good practice for you."
"For me?" GoGo warned him to clear up on that as the machine got her order.
"Well, one day, when we decide to take that step..." Peter walked over and placed his hands on her shoulders to keep her calm. "And we move in together...you'll have some experience living with someone else."
"You really think of us moving in together?" GoGo asks Peter in concern. Not much against the idea, just wondering how far this relationship of theirs might last. "Really?"
"Yeah, of course. I also think of my quips finally making you give up and leave me, but I don't think of that as much as the others." Peter admitted as he pecked her cheek. "See you later."
GoGo had to admit he made a few good points as he walked off. She should learn how it is to live with someone and get used to it if she wants their relationship to last. And his choice of housing isn't really somewhere they can stay without his aunt and sisters being around. She needed to have this worked out so that she can see if she was compatible to live with someone else.
And like he said...there are worst choices than Honey Lemon. She could be easy to get along with and to live with.
Wasabi drove the truck filled with Honey Lemon's stuff while the others were waiting outside her apartment building's door. As he pulled back and parked, Peter and Teresa opened the back and saw Honey had a lot more stuff than they realized.
"Boy, you weren't kidding about this neighborhood," Wasabi commented as he looked around. "It is crawling with jaywalkers."
"So, Honey Lemon not here yet?" Hiro wonders.
"No, she's already here." GoGo gestured to the other end of the street.
Honey Lemon was indeed there and talking to someone with a motorcycle. "I think you're gonna love it! What do you say?"
The biker guy then decided to nod a, yes, allowing Honey a lemon to do whatever it is she's gonna do.
"Yay!" Honey Lemon said as she used her chem-purse, creating three balls. "You might wanna stand back."
She then used her chem-balls and vested a sparkly pink motorcycle out of them. As she did, GoGo sped by on roller skates and grabbed her purse back.
"And you might wanna be more careful with your stuff around here.
"I am!" Honey Lemon assured her. "I asked..." she then looked at the guy. "What's your name?"
"Felony Carl." He introduced himself to her.
"I asked Felony Carl to watch it." Honey Lemon said and looked back at him. "You might wanna just go by Carl."
"Yeah, tell it to my mom." Felony Carl agreed with her. Then he got onto the motorcycle and started it up. "Love the glitter. It showcases how comfortable I am with my masculinity."
And as he drove off, they started to move all of Honey's stuff into GoGo's apartment. Teresa helped Peter, even though he doesn't need it, to move a box up the stairs.
"Okay, I know you need to keep up appearances, but can't you take a break and just move a box by yourself?" Teresa asks her brother.
"Nope. Can't. I need to make it seem like this is a challenge for me." Peter explains as they put the box down in the apartment. "Which is a challenge on its own."
"So...you're okay with this?" Teresa wanted to have a chat as they had a second.
"Sure, why wouldn't I?" Peter asks as he made his way down the stairs.
"Just saying. Someone's moving in with your girlfriend. Figured you'd be the first to try that." Teresa explains to him.
"What? God, no, we're not there yet." Peter quickly denied that statement. "We've gone on a few dates, doesn't mean we're gonna move in together any time soon."
"Fair enough." Teresa decides to leave her brother alone about it. "At least now we know you two will never truly be alone."
"Teresa!" Peter cried after hearing that, knowing what she was implying. "Really?"
"Couldn't resist." Teresa shrugged and continued to walk off.
While they were busy inside the building, someone made their way toward Honey Lemon's purse. He is a man of average height and has tan skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair. He typically wears a green jacket over a gray shirt, black pants, and gray shoes. And he dawns a black mask to hide his identity.
Sneaking his way over to steal the purse, he accidentally sent it flying onto a taxi and chased after it. Going far away from Peter's spider senses and vanishing from his mental sight.
That night, he sneaked off to a warehouse to gloat about his recent victory. To a rat.
"They say that Dibs you wouldn't make it as a thief. They all doubted me." Dibs proclaimed as he looked at his catch. "We'll, they are all about to look pretty stupid."
But then he started to become an idiot as he Reid his best to open the purse to find something valuable. But all he did was bash it around and end up getting nowhere with it. And that's when the doors opened and he raced to hide underneath a box.
The two figures that entered were Keri and his assistant, Judy. "You remember that neurotransmitter that Hamada kid invented to control his microbots?"
Judy and Dibs watched as Keri touched a button underneath the table and it flipped to a high-tech table. It showed a hologram of the very same neurotransmitter he was just explaining.
"It was a genius invention," Judy commented. "Too bad it was lost forever."
"Or was it?" Keri asks as he showed he recreated the exact same device. "I was able to study it from our security footage, and it inspired me to make this."
"You made this?" Judy refused to believe that.
"Not me personally. I had a team do it." Keri confessed as he picked up the device. "You wear this, you can control anything linked to it with your mind."
"So it's a rip-off of his invention?" Judy clarified.
"No, it's a better version," Keri tells her.
Judy didn't seem to believe that. "How so?"
"Legally different enough that I can't be sued," Keri said as he placed a pair of green lenses goggles on the device.
"That is better." Judy decided.
"Right now we only have this prototype, but eventually, this thing will be worth billions!" Keri promises.
Dibs heard that and gasped. "Billions!"
Then he got a look and saw a rat, causing him to shriek and scared the rat. Judy and Keri didn't hear or see him, but the rat spooked both of them out.
"Rats."
"That's the drawback to secret labs in abandoned warehouses," Keri said as he placed the device on the table, pushing the button to hide it.
The two of them then walked off, leaving Dibs behind with the device, and knew he had his ticket. He walked over and pushed the button, showing off the goggles to him.
"Billions!" Dibs cheered as he placed the purse down and picked up the goggles. "Who's a rotten thief now, Felony Carl?"
Dibs then placed the goggles on his head to try and get a feel for them. But the sudden change in sight caused him to get dizzy and drop the purse. Going down to pick it up, he smacked his head against the button and spin the table around. This caused the purse to be caught inside the device and jam it. Dibs tried to pry the purse free, but all of the chemicals ended up exploding and becoming a part of the man.
He is now covered entirely in purple slime. The neurotransmitter that triggers his abilities is situated around his forehand and green lenses cover his eyes, making them out to be green. His abilities allow him to shapeshift into an authentic duplicate of any form his mind can conceive.
Trying to make a set, he almost tripped and his arms stretched out, sending his limbs everywhere. "Darn it!"
But back with the team, GoGo was working on her bike in the apartment whilst Honey Lemon was working on unpacking. Opening her box of caterpillars, it turned out that they have turned into butterflies sometime during the move. Honey clapped and awed as they flew away, but they ended up coming into GoGo's path and she tried to get them out of her way.
One of them ended up on her bubble gum, staying on the bubble she blew. Honey sheepishly grinned as she walked over and saw her angered face. Popping the bubble, the butterfly leaves the angered GoGo staring at Honey.
Later on the same day, Honey set up a small area where she could do some of her usual morning yoga. GoGo also got up to do her usual morning routine as she made her way over to the punching bag and placed some boxing gloves on.
It wasn't much to disturb Honey and her vibe until GoGo started to play some hard rock music and grunted with every hit she took. But Honey wasn't one to complain and just started to try and get through it. But she also lost her balance of it and fell over.
Later on the same day, GoGo was making her way to the fridge where she found it was completely covered in stickers. That wasn't exactly something she would have considered, but she decided to move past it and open it. And that's when she learned that everything inside the fridge was also patched with dozens of different stickers.
When she took the milk carton out, she saw there was a milk sticker on it with a smiley face. Now she was getting a bit irritated and ripped the sticker off before storming off.
Later on that night, GoGo was on the couch with Peter, the two of them trying to have a date night in. But they should have figured something would have come up, leading to Honey staying over and joining them.
Peter knew that this wasn't something that was going to just work on itself overnight, but that didn't exactly mean this was what he had in mind. With Honey now living with GoGo, it would mean that they would need to find some other way to be alone if they wish. Peter's place crawling with three other people and GoGo now has Honey.
It didn't exactly get much better for GoGo when Peter left and she was left with Honey. Turns out that the girl snores very loudly and it went throughout the entire night. GoGo never lived with a constant noise like that, meaning she didn't have the ability to sleep throughout the night.
When Honey woke up, she was well rested. But the same couldn't be said for GoGo as she looked terrible after a long night. "Did you know that you snore?"
"Oh, my other roommate used to tell me that. I thought she was just being mean." Honey confessed. "I'm sorry."
GoGo however didn't hear her and she ended up falling asleep in front of her. She barely got any sleep and was only now finally sleeping.
Honey leaned over and yelled so she could hear. "I said I'm sorry!"
When the group met up again, they saw how much GoGo didn't get much sleep and was constantly falling asleep. Peni was in school due to the time being middle of the day, meaning she was currently stuck in school. The rest were waiting for Fred to show up and all took notice of GoGo's lack of sleep. They were mostly just waiting for Fred to show up so that they could see what they could do with their day off of school.
"You don't really look so good," Teresa commented.
"Wow, is that your doctor opinion?" GoGo asks as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
"Okay, someone's not in the mood." Teresa decided as she turned to Peter. "Your turn."
"Guess the first night didn't go so well?" Peter asks his girlfriend.
"She snores. A lot." GoGo stated in annoyance.
"Yeah, Teresa used to keep me up with her snoring," Peter admitted as he looked at his sister. "It drove me nuts."
Teresa however stopped and looked over at her brother. "What? I don't snore!"
"Peni sleeps with noise-canceling headphones," Peter replied, shocked she doesn't know this.
"She said it was for the noises coming from outside." Teresa was feeling offended by the notion.
"Has anyone seen my Chem-purse?" Honey asks as she took her seat, noticing the two of them arguing.
"I told you to be careful with your stuff," GoGo stated, knowing that something like this was bound to happen.
"I was. I put it on a box." Honey tells her.
"The purse box?" Wasabi asks.
"And don't get me started on you always keeping me up with some sort of project." Teresa was still arguing with Peter in the middle of this.
"Yeah, well, if you can't find it, it was most likely stolen," GoGo stated.
"That's the sleep deprivation talking." Honey Lemon shrugged it off as nothing. "Deep down, most people are good."
"Sleep is important for cognitive function. Six to eight hours is recommended." Baymax tells her.
"That's nonsense, Baymax," GoGo stated as Baymax started to play music. "I feel just..."
And with that, GoGo was out and sleep on the chair. Hiro decided to help and left Peter and Teresa to argue with one another.
"Hey, aunt Cass, can we have a blanket?" Hiro asks his aunt.
"You want a pillow with that blanket?" Cass asks them.
Baymax however used his fist to catch GoGo's head as she almost fell on the table. "I think we've got that covered."
"One blanket, hold the pillow, coming right up," Cass said as she walked off to get it. "Coming up."
Before anyone could stress their concern about missing valuable equipment like her Chem-purse, Fred came charging into the cafe with a jump. Almost, literally. He couldn't stop bouncing. Peter and Teresa even stopped arguing when they saw him coming in bouncing.
"Calm down, boy. What are you trying to tell us?" Wasabi asks as he tried to calm Fred down.
"There's a monster in San Fransokyo!" Fred cheered as he held up his phone.
"Breaking news. Reports of what is described as a monster is loose in San Fransokyo. Please note that we don't have any evidence to support this claim. But I repeat, a monster is loose in San Fransokyo!"
"Fred, there's no such thing as monsters." Hiro scoffed.
"That's what all the normals say...right before they're attacked by a monster!" Fred cried as he ducked behind Peter.
He looked around and became a little disappointed that nothing was happening. Wasabi was a little concerned by this and asked him. "Are you disappointed we weren't just attacked by a monster?"
"Of course," Fred said as he stood up. "Defeating a monster is a glaring omission on our superhero team resume," Fred stated as he pointed to Peter. "Spider-Man over here has us up already when he defeated Jackal."
"Technically, wasn't a monster. Just a mad scientist with a DNA restructure." Peter defended his friend's statement.
"Exactly, monsters aren't really a thing." Honey agreed with Peter. "You know...a real thing."
"How do you know? Because that's what your fancy, so-called science books tell you?" Fred asked, using air quotes around science books.
"Yes." Everyone stated in unison.
"Well, let me tell you about some other fancy books," Fred stated and started to list them. "Comic books! Silver age, full of monsters!"
"You're not gonna let this go until we check this out, are you?" Hiro asks him.
Fred thought about it and saw that was definitely the case. "That is correct."
"Okay, guys, I'm on it," Hiro promised as he got up.
"I'll give you a hand," Peter said as he needed to get away from his sister for a moment.
"I'll get Peni from school," Teresa said as she stood up and walked off.
"Baymax, would you mind?" Honey asks, gesturing to the sleeping GoGo.
"I am on it," Baymax promised as he picked her up and tried his best to let her sleep.
Peter, Hiro, and Fred were out on the street. Using the footage that they got from the news, they located the street where the footage was taken. They took a look around and saw that there was no sign of anything that could pinpoint there was a monster here.
"I don't see anything," Peter said as he leaned on the wall. "No giant footprints, knocked over buildings. And I fought Jackal, so I know that those are called for."
"Maybe this particular monster doesn't have feet!" Fred proclaimed, raising his foot to prove his point. But that ended with him falling over and the two of them just standing there. He then raised from the ground and got annoyed looks from the group. "Open your minds, man."
"Fred, if a monster had been here, they'd been some-" Peter was walking over when he suddenly stepped in something. "What did I step in?"
Fred leaned in to see what he stepped in and saw some pink goo. It must have slipped off of the new monster when he stepped around. Fred bent over and swabbed his finger in it.
"Let me touch it," Fred stated as he brought the goo to his mouth and sniffed it. He accidentally ended up inhaling it and pulling it out of his nose. "Mm...that my friends, is clearly monster goo!"
"You just pulled it out of your nose," Peter said in disgust.
"Yes, I did!" Fred stated as he shoved it in Peter's face, causing him to gag in disgust. "Who's the cool guy who's always right?" He suddenly started singing and doing a victory dance. "Who's really awesome and out of sight? Who's biggest fear is a spider bite?"
"Me." Peter interrupted his dance with that fact. He then started to walk off and was going to make the call something was out there. "Should have called in sick that day."
Then they heard screams from down the corner and definitely knew something was going on. The three of them ran off to find out what was going on whilst Peter kept making the call.
Meanwhile, Fred and Wasabi were at GoGo's place looking through the place for the Chem purse. Baymax was still carrying GoGo and making sure that she was getting the sleep she required.
GoGo started to wake up and was greeted by Baymax. "Hello."
"What?" GoGo looked around and quickly jumped out of the robot's arms.
"Oh, come on!" Wasabi cried as he was looking in the purse box. "Where is it? Where is it?"
"It clearly isn't here," GoGo stated as she walked up to him.
"But it has to be!" Wasabi cried in terror. "The box is labeled purses. If the nurse isn't in the purse box, nothing in my world makes sense!"
"Don't worry, I'm sure it'll turn up," Honey said as she walked over to comfort her friend.
"You know, unless, for the millionth time, it's been stolen." GoGo proclaimed, knowing that's most likely what happened.
"You know, your negativity isn't helping," Honey said with her usual smile.
"Okay, I'll be positive," GoGo stated as Wasabi sneaked out of the way. "Positive you're not getting your purse back."
"Conflict resolution through a third party is often effective." Baymax informs Wasabi.
"It's third-party time," Wasabi says to him.
"And who has a box full of butterflies?" GoGo questions.
"They were caterpillars when I packed them." Honey defended as she picked one of the butterflies.
"Respect and-" Baymax tried to get between them, quickly failing.
"Exactly, Baymax. It's hard to respect somebody who's always, like, I'm so happy about everything and everything all the time!" GoGo stated as she did her best Honey impression.
"And understanding are-"
"Well, I don't understand why you're all I'm so serious and cool and...I have bubblegum." Honey did her best to do her best GoGo impression.
perhaps-"
"I should find somewhere else to live!" Honey states.
"Fine. If that's what you want." GoGo stated back.
The two then walked off in opposite directions and left the robot. Baymax just stood there and didn't know what happened. "That was not effective."
Teresa then ran in and had Peni with her. "Hey, guys, I got a call from Peter. They-"
They then heard screams and people were running around out the window. They made their way over and looked out to see the monster from the news.
"I think we found Fred's monster." Wasabi took notice.
The group quickly make their way to get their suits so that they could confront this creature. It didn't take long as most of them were already near them and others were still further away.
Peni just needed to contact SP to bring the suit as she doesn't bring him to school. Peter was able to change and was able to swing over to get Fred and Hiro their suits. Teresa, Peni, and the others at GoGo's place were the first to arrive at the scene and looked over the creature.
"Whoa, that's a strange-looking monster," Peni commented on the controls of the SP//DR.
"And I thought the Jackal's experiments were hideous." Teresa had to admit this was something new.
"Baymax, can you scan it?" Wasabi asks the robot.
"It?" Dibs took offense to be called that. "I'm still a person in here!" He then looked up and down himself. "I think."
"Scan complete," Baymax tells them as he got to work on it. "The monster seems to consist of a mix of human DNA and an unknown chemical compound, which is controlled by an electronic device. It also contained fragments of Honey Lemon's purse."
Honey was shocked to hear that as she looked at the monster. "Oh, no, did my purse do this to you?
"Purse?" Dibs asks then remembered what happened that got him there. "I mean, what purse? I don't know anything about a purse."
Before he could start walking away, GoGo sped over and blocked his path. "You stole her purse, didn't you?"
"Oh, I see how it is." Dibs seemed insulted by the accusations. "Something goes missing, and the first thing you do is blame the monster!"
Teresa however wasn't falling for it and crossed her arms. "Yeah, he definitely stole it."
"Oh! Thank goodness!" Wasabi seemed relieved to hear that. "It wasn't a labeling error." He then noticed Honey's sad face. "I know this is a terrible moment for you, but for a few minutes, I didn't know who I was anymore."
SP a changed the face on the suit to give a confused gesture to Wasabi.
"Don't look at me like that!" Wasabi tells the robot suit.
"You guys seem like you have some issues to work out, so I'll-" Dibs was trying to walk away when GoGo stopped him.
you're not going anywhere, thief." GoGo tells him.
"Yes, I am," Dibs stated as he fling his arms at GoGo.
She wasn't able to react as she was entangled with the goo and then flung across into Baymax, Honey, and Teresa. The goo also landed into SP//SR, causing the system to freeze when it got inside. Wasabi however wasn't trapped with it, and only ended up getting a bit on him. But it was enough to cause him to panic.
"Ah! Get it off! Get it off!" Wasabi cried as he ran around in circles.
Peter then swings into the scene as he and Fred land, Hiro on the back of Peter and climbing off when they landed. They all finally got their look at their monster and were all surprised to see it.
"That-that is a monster." Hiro was surprised to admit. "I stand corrected."
"More like a scientific experiment that went wrong, but the same difference when you're besting it up." Peter shrugged as he saw it as the same difference. "But I digress."
"That's right!" Fred cheered as he pointed at the monster. "Everyone look at that disgusting globby monster!"
A bystander was running away when they stopped and looked back. "He is globby, isn't he?"
"We'll, then it's settled," Fred stated as he raised his hands to his mouth. "Mind if we call you Globby?"
"Of course I mind!" Dibs stated in anger when he eyed the heroes. "Ugh, could this day get any worse?"
Then as on command, a bus came and slammed into him, sending Dibs flying and going along with wherever it was going. Peter winced as he knows how it feels to get hit by a bus. Multiple times.
"Ouch." Peter groaned.
"You gotta watch where you're standing, Globby!" Fred called out.
They just left the monster alone as they knew he was bound to turn up somewhere. They made their way over to the others and helped them get out of the goo so they could come up with a plan.
"You good?" Peter asks his sister.
"Fine." Teresa groaned as she swung her hand to get the goo off. "Just finally learned how all four of the criminals we fight feel like."
"This was quite the strange day," Hiro admitted.
"And it's all my purse's fault!" Honey cried as she started to calm down. "No, I should take responsibility. I should have listened to GoGo. I'm sorry. So, so sorry."
Teresa walked over and hugged her friend. "Hey, it's not all your fault. That dude was the one who stole your purse. And that's a good thing. Since now we know that you can easily come up with something that can stop him. Right?"
Honey saw that as a good thing and started to feel better. "That's true."
"Great." Peni got their attention, seeing the suit was still stuck. "Can someone help me? The latch was also gooed shut."
They retired to GoGo's place as wasabi tried to clean up the goo whilst Hiro was fixing up a new Chem purse for Honey. While they were doing that, Fred was watching the news where they were discussing Globby's new name.
"How do you feel about the monster's name?"
"Globby's short, accurate, it's apt." Felony Karl agreed.
"Cool! I named the monster! This will be my legacy to the world!" Fred said with glee.
"Your chem purse is all ready, Honey Lemon," Hiro said and handed over the purse.
"Oh, great. Now I can work on a compound to break down Globby's viscoelastic properties." Honey said as she quickly started getting to work on that.
"Hypothetically, science term, if someone in this room didn't know the meaning of viso-visco-"
"She's going to make an un-sticky ball," Teresa recalled what her friend was saying.
"Oh, okay, I totally knew that," Fred assured them and walked off.
"Right." Peter rolled his eyes and managed to rip the goo off to free Peni. "You good?"
"We need to work on a new emergency escape," Peni tells her brother, taking a handful of candy and chewing down on it. "I got a little claustrophobic."
Then they got an alert on their phones and looked to see a news alert. When they opened the tab, they noticed that there was an alert of Judy talking about a Keri abduction.
"Our CEO, Alistair Keri, was taken from this office by that monster from that window that we agreed to call Globby," Judy informed the news.
"Do you have anything to say to your boss if he's watching?" The news asks.
"Mr. Keri, if you're hearing this, you're in our hearts, and I'm going home early," Judy tells the camera. "You approved it last week."
"Peni, think you can locate Keri or Globby?" Peter looked over to his sister.
"I can look into it," Peni said as she looked at the robot. "SP?"
SP gave a thumbs up and took a second before showing a holographic map. It then showed a red dot that zoomed in to show Globby carrying Keri up the radio tower.
"That was fast," Hiro admitted.
"How's that ball coming, Honey?" Teresa asked her friend.
"Just about done," Honey said as she showed the Chem-ball.
"Alright, let's move out," Peter said as he placed his mask on.
Most of the group took Baymax as it was too high for them to climb up with the exception of Peter and Teresa, as both of them had their own way of transport. Peter swung in and landed on the top of the satellite. Teresa came flying in and landed next to Baymax and the others, whilst Peni came with a giant leap.
"Whoa! Big Hero 9!" Keri cried in glee to see them all. "You could have gotten here sooner. But...you can work on that!"
"Keep the criticism until after we rescue you," Teresa said, aiming her tasers at Globby. "You know, again."
Wasabi jumped ahead of everyone, surprising them with his bravery. "Your disgusting reign of terror stops now, Globby!"
And just like that, Wasabi charged to attack the monster and save Keri. The others just stood back and warned to see how far he was going to go. Globby flung his arms around and sent several piles of his goo at the man. Wasabi however swung his lasers and sliced through them and stopped them from hitting him. One pile however went flying and landed on Baymax's face.
"My visual sensors are impaired," Baymax warned the group as he tried to remove the goo.
"Okay." Peter got ready as he got ready to go. "Nobody does rush to Baymax."
Leaping into action, Peter didn't even notice when Globby swung and wrapped Peter up in a pile of the goo. He was literally wrapped around and slammed into the ground.
"Ow." Peter groaned. "I should have kept the limbs."
"Well, that didn't go well," Teresa said as she tried to shoot her tasers, but all it did was enter and slingshot off of him. "Uh-oh."
The tasers flung back and Teresa ducked, only for them to implant onto SP//DR, causing the entire suit to malfunction and spaz out of control. Then to make matters worse, a helicopter came in and heightened the drama of the situation. Wasabi tried to go in for another swing, only to then realize how high they were up.
"Oh, too much height!" Wasabi ran over and hugged the antenna.
"Will everyone stop for three seconds!?" Peter asked in annoyance.
"Globby, this will make you not-sticky," Honey said as she showed her chem ball.
"Stay back!" Globby warned as he dangled Keri off the edge. "You're upsetting the monster!"
"Let Keri go," Hiro demanded the man.
"Wording, people," Krei stated as he looked down in worry.
"He's right. You gotta be careful with that." Peter agreed from the ground, trying to shake free of the goo.
"Everyone just be quiet!" Globby demanded everyone.
"Can we just do this?" Wasabi asked as he hugged the antenna still. "Some of us don't wanna splatter all over the ground."
"Oh, I've been making a lot of bad decisions lately!" Globby said in despair.
"He is in need of positive reinforcement." Baymax noticed.
Everyone quickly looked over to Honey for that. "You guys sure? It was my positivity that sort of got us into this mess."
"And I have a feeling your positivity is what can get us out of it," GoGo stated. "Look, your ridiculously upbeat attitude takes some getting used to, but it's good for me."
Honey smiled and hugged her friend. "Thanks. GoGo. You're the best."
"Don't mention it." GoGo sighed and gestured to Globby. "Now make that freak of nature feel good about himself."
"Hey, I knew you guys would work it out." Peter was happy to see they were getting along.
"Listen, Globby, I know things look bad now, but there's always a silver lining," Honey said as she stepped to talk to him. "You can make this work!"
"Oh, come on." Globby didn't seem to believe her. "Nobody believes in me. You don't even know me, why would you?"
"Before, you were a common purse thief, but now if you dedicated yourself to making the best of this situation, you can truly be special," Honey said, seeing she was starting to get through to him. "Nobody else had your...abilities."
"Sandman comes close...but I digress." Peter said from the ground, kicking himself to sit upward.
"You think?" Globby asks Honey.
"I know." Honey Lemon promised.
Globby then placed Krei down and knew she was right. "You're right, this is a new beginning for me."
"Huh, can't believe that worked," Teresa admitted she had doubts.
"My days of being a loser, small-time purse snatched are behind me," Globby promises.
"That's the spirit!" Honey Lemon was happy to see she got through to him. "You're better than that."
"I am!" Globby agreed but then turned to a more sinister look. "And that's why I'm gonna be a supervillain!"
"Wait, what?" Peni asked from the suit.
"The world will come to fear the name Globby!" Globby promises them.
Then he leaped off and started to use his arms to swing around with ease. Everyone couldn't do much and only watch as he swung away, with all of them having their gear damaged.
"Hey, he stole my wallet!" Krei suddenly realized.
"He just robbed the richest man in San Fransokyo?" Fred asked in shock. "I think he's gonna make this supervillain thing work."
"That's great," Peter said sarcastically. "A villain who now has time to plot and scheme. That's gonna be fun to deal with later." He then grunted and tried to free himself. "Someone wanna free me!?"
Meanwhile, out of the city, in the woods, a man implanted the spear he carried into the ground with a growl. He smelled the air as if looking for something and let out a pleasant exhale.
"I can smell him. My greatest hunt ever."
