Ch 22 Knight of Madness Pt 2

"Master!" Galahad steps in front of Ritsuka, raising his Shield to deflect the red projectiles.

Ritsuka turns back to Melty, Pavel, Fou, and Filo, staying behind him and Galahad. "You three, stay behind us." He said to the four, "Itsuki's powers are similar to Archer's. He can send any projectiles in a blink of an eye."

Melty and Filo nodded, understanding what Ritsuka was getting at. "Right, don't worry about us, Ritsuka-sama." The violet-haired Princess said, keeping Pavel close to him.

"Ritsuka, please be careful." Pavel looks at his Caretaker, having faith he can defeat Heroic Knight Tristan.

Ritsuka smiles at Pavel, giving him an ensuring smile. "Don't worry Pavel, I don't intend to let Heroic Knight Tristan win here." The Magus from the Stars stated before hearing Itsuki laughing before them.

"AHAHAHAHA! Do you think you can defeat me? What an idiot thinking you can!" Heroic Knight Tristan laughs before seeing Arthur stepping forward.

"That's enough," Arthur stood before his master and their Allies, "Heroic Knight Tristan, the one who bears the Name of my Knight. Your threats to our master will not be tolerated," The King of Knights stated,

Heroic Knight Tristan scoffs, "So what? I don't care, as long as I get a win against that Bitch; I'm willing to take any victory that passes my way." He looks over to Ritsuka, "Even killing Fujimaru in the process."

Arthur positions Excalibur in front of him, his eyes looking at Galahad not turning away from the fallen Hero. "Shielder, Caster, keep master safe. I'll handle Heroic Knight Tristan,"

"HA! What are you going to do?" The Archer asked, seeing the Saber holding what seemed to be a Sword. It's hard to tell due to the Invisible Air covering it, "Your invisible Sword looks cool and all but I bet it's just for show." He chuckled,

Heroic Knight Tristan sighs, eyeing the King of Knights standing before them. "Well, it doesn't matter what you use," The Archer raised his Failnaught at the Saber, "Once I kill you, I'll kill Fujimaru," He smirked, reaching for the strings on his Bow.

Arthur didn't give Heroic Knight Tristan to play his strings, he dashed forward, slashing at the Pseudo-Servant.

"Tch," The green-haired Archer deflected the slash with his Failnaught, leaping back.

Arthur turns his head to the group and his master, "Master, everyone, go and find the Ruins. I'll handle Heroic Knight Tristan!" He turns back around, slashing the projectiles that Heroic Knight Tristan secretly released. "As a King, it's my duty to punish Knights with lack of Chivalry."

"Saber," Ritsuka said, nodding to his sentence.

"Shut up, Chivalry is dead you relic!" Heroic Knight Tristan strums his Failnaught, sending a barrage of projectiles at the King of Knights.

The Saber took a deep breath before slashing the red projectiles away. "Sei!" He then released a slash of Invisible Air at the Heroic Knight, only for him to dodge it.

Galahad grabs onto Ritsuka while Castoria got Melty, Filo, and Pavel. "Master, let's start searching for the Ruins if my hunch is right; only those Free of Sins may pass." The Shielder said,

"Right, let's go, everyone!" Ritsuka and the others ran across the small plateau, searching for any signs of an entrance,

Heroic Knight Tristan dodges another slash from the King. He landed on the ground, his red eyes caught the group entering a small crevasse in the Mountain wall, "No! Come back here so I can kill you! Fujimaru!" He made a dash for Ritsuka,

Arthur steps in front of him and brings Excalibur down at him. "HA!"

"Hup!" The Archer raised his Bow, interlocking both Weapons together.

"I have to admit, you're skilled with Failnaught. You even use it as a Melee Weapon." Arthur pushed Heroic Knight Tristan back, "My Knight also uses his Failnaught as a Melee Weapon too, but he has more experience than you, Heroic Knight Tristan."

Heroic Knight Tristan flips back, landing on the ground. "Knight huh? So you're Fairy Knight Tristan's Lord or something?" The Archer stood up, smirking at the King. "EVEN BETTER! Here I thought I got to kill only Fujimaru, now I can kill both him and her Lord!" He laughs, seeing now he has more than one opportunity to strike back at Fairy Knight Tristan.

Arthur frowns, seeing Heroic Knight Tristan's obsession with Baobhan Sith. He won't correct his assumptions about him being Baobhan Sith's Lord/King. "Try as you may, I'm not easy to kill, Heroic Knight Tristan!"

"AH!" Heroic Knight Tristan strums his Failnaught, releasing red projectiles at the King of Camelot. "AHAHAHAHA! Try and dodge these, you idiot!" The green-haired Archer laughs,

Arthur increased his Invisible Air, using it as a Shield to protect him. He slashes a few of the projectiles as he leaps in the air, just above the projectiles and over Heroic Knight Tristan.

Ritsuka and the others search around for anything looking like an entrance. "Keep an eye out for an entrance, everyone." The Magus said to his group searching the area as well.

Melty and Filo look around the area too, checking at the rocky cliffs. "I don't see anything resembling an entrance." The Second Princess said, her eyes searching the small area.

"Filo doesn't see anything too," Filo added, reporting her status to Ritsuka. Like Melty, she's unable to find anything.

Pavel held onto Fou while sitting on a small boulder, feeling uncomfortable about this place. "Ritsuka, I don't like it. I don't want to be here, Ritsuka." He looks at his Caretaker, holding Fou tightly.

"Fou, Fou…" The Beast agrees, not wanting to be in this place.

Ritsuka turns to the Child, smiling at him kindly. "I know, but bear with it just a little longer, Pavel." He said, smiling at him. He knew that somewhere around here was a Ruin most likely means it's nearby.

Galahad looks at his master, smiling at the sight before turning to Castoria. "My-Lady Arturia, do you sense anything with your Magecraft?" He asked the Caster Servant.

Castoria held out her hand to the Wall, trying to uncover a hidden passage like she did the last time. She then opens her eyes, finding it. "I think i-"

"Ara, so you have already arrived, Magus from the Stars." A familiar voice spoke in the air. "I was beginning to think you might be caught with the Battle down at the Mountain's foot. But it seems my Clairvoyance was wrong."

"This voice!" Castoria lowered her hand, hearing a voice she knew too well. Ritsuka and the others joined with Galahad and Castoria, "This voice sounds like my voice,"

"Oops, here let me open the door for you all. A special case for Heroes destined to save this World." A bright light shined before the group, enveloping everyone within.

"W-What with this light!?" Melty exclaims, unsure what is happening.

"Gah! Filo doesn't like this at all, Rits-chan, Arturia-chan, do something!" Filo exclaims, feeling herself being sucked into the light.

"Just bear with it, Filo, Melty, it'll take a few moments," Castoria said as all of them entered a place where only those Free of Sin may Pass.

Down at the Battle, Berserker of Einherjar and Bedivere kept half of Melromarc's Knights away from the Village, and Heroic Knight Aid Gareth. "Tch!" Berserker clicked his tongue, slashing his Axe at a Dragon Knight before slashing at a Human Knight.

"How long do we keep this up, Saber?" The iron-haired Servant throws his Axe at one Dragon Knight before grabbing one Knight and tossing him into his Allies. "I don't think my Men can handle any more of this."

Bedivere slashes his Sword down at the Enemy, "Hup!" He switches his Sword to the other hand, activating his Airgetlám, releasing a bright light that slashes away two Dragon Knights.

He turns to the Counter Force Servant, "I know what you mean, Berserker. But we have to hold out until Lancer can take out their Commander." Bedivere stated switching his Sword back to his other hand and slashing down another Knight.

The silver-haired Knight looks at where Mald is, confronting Gareth. "She's confronting Heroic Knight Aid Gareth as we speak." Bedivere smiles, seeing their plan has worked.

"Hup!" Gareth thrust his Spear at the Human Knight,

"Ngh!" Mald protected himself with his Enchanted Sword, however, the blow scratched the blade. He smirks, seeing Gareth's strike didn't fall through like before. "Ha, your Spear didn't break my Sword like the last time, Girl."

Gareth leaps back, noting her Attacks didn't pierce through either his Sword or Armor. "What did I say? A Little Girl like you doesn't belong on a Battlefield." Mald stated, grinning at the Lancer. "Give up, we already won this Battle!"

"Give up?" Gareth asked, her eyes glaring at Mald mocking her and trying to belittle her. "You haven't won squat! As long as I wield this Spear and Shield, I will never give up!" The Lancer stated,

Mald scoffs, ready to charge at her. "Tch, annoying Brat! I shall teach you a lesson for defying me, Heroic Knight Aid Gareth!" He charges at her, raising his Sword.

"Heroic Knight Aid Gareth, you bear a Name and sullied it," Gareth stated, prepping herself to Attack. "Hear me once more, I am Gareth of the Beautiful Hands! A Knight of the Roundtable swore to protect all innocents and Servant of Chaldea! Now Fall, Heroic Knight Aid Gareth!" She charges at the one who stole her name.

"Ha! Little Brat, you really want to die!" Mald laughs, raising his Sword.

"I'm gonna take them down!" Mald brought down his Sword at Gareth, however, she bashed it out of the way with her Shield.

"Tch, you litt-GAH!" The Heroic Knight Aid was slashed across the chest with Gareth's Spear.

"I am a wolf! My Lance is like a deadly fang!" Gareth repeatedly slashes and runs down Mald with her Shield, breaking the armor he has.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Mald screams in pain, feeling the onslaught of Attacks of the Knight he was named after.

Raphtalia slashed through one Knight before catching a glimpse of a blue light. "Huh? Is that Lancer-san over there?" The Pseudo-Servant asked, seeing Heroic Knight Aid Gareth being pummeled by Gareth's Noble Phantasm.

Naofumi pushed back a Dragon Knight before impaling him with his Sword embedded into his Shield. He gave a small chuckle, seeing the Knight he's annoyed with getting his ass kicked. "Well now, that's a well-deserved beat down if I ever seen one." He smirks,

"Let's go!" Gareth propels Mald forward, his armor and Sword are ready to break despite having Enchantments on them. He gritted his teeth, glaring at the Knight still charging at him. "GAH, the hell you think you-" Gareth leaps forward, pulling back her Spear.

"Ira Lupus!" Gareth thrust her Spear into Mald, sliding behind him.

A bright light shines all over Mald's Body, "GAAAAHHHHHHHH!" The armor and his Sword shattered into pieces.

Gareth smiles at Mald falling to the ground, placing her Spear on her shoulders. "That's what you get for stealing my Name, teehee," The Lancer giggles, jumping for joy.\

Ruins of ########

(Insert 51. The Witch and Her Happy Piglets)

'I feel warm…it's like an embrace…' Ritsuka thought, trying to get up. He opened his eyes seeing a field of grass with flowers blowing through the winds.

"Don't move now, that Spell I cast to let you in does have some side effects upon entering the Ruins." A soft-spoken voice informed the group, a voice that sounded oddly similar to Castoria. "My, I didn't expect this much of Guests; but this is my first time welcoming them for so long."

Ritsuka looks up, seeing a short white-haired, pink-eyed Girl. On her hair were three cowlicks bouncing whenever she moved. She was wearing a white that fades to pink at the hem. She wore high-knee pink boots.

Behind her was a pair of wings, fluffing on their own similar to Filo's. In her hands was a Staff much like a certain Prototype Succubus,

"M-Mer-"

"Fou!" Fou leaps out of nowhere, attacking the Girl. "GAH! CATH PALUG, STOP THAT! YOU'RE RUINING MY OFFICIAL INTRODUCTION!" The Girl spoke, solidifying who she was.

"Fou, Fou! Fou, Fou!" The Beast barks, not removing himself from her face.

Ritsuka immediately stood up, assisting the Girl from Fou's attack. "Fou! I get you have a vendetta on him/her, but behave yourself!" The Magus stated.

Soon everyone woke up, seeing that they had woken up to Ritsuka trying to pry Fou off of a Girl. "Alright, it's official. This is probably the worst thing I've woken up to." Castoria commented,

Filo turns to Galahad and the others, unsure of what she is seeing. "Um, Filo's confused. What is Rits-chan doing with Fou-chan and the other Girl?" She asked, feeling somewhat a familiar feeling when she gazes upon her.

"I see, so we've finally met," Galahad said, understanding what was going on. He turns to Filo, answering her question. "Filo, master is trying to get Fou off of this World's version of-"

Melty mouth hung open, seeing the Girl standing before her. "Oh my God! Y-You're Fitoria! The current Queen of the Filoials!" She exclaims excitedly to meet the Queen of the Filoials.

Ritsuka manages to get Fou off from Fitoria's face. "There!" He stumbles back, holding Fou in his hands.

"Fou, Fou, Fou!" Fou wiggled around in Ritsuka's hands, trying to get free,

"Fou, calm down," Ritsuka said, turning to Fitoria and seeing her rub her nose. "I'm so sorry about Fou, Fitoria. He's always-"

"Gets like that. I know, though the circumstances between events differ here; I did something like that to my Cath Palug." Fitoria answers before recollecting herself to redo her introduction. "Ahem, greetings, Princess of Melromarc, Knights of the Roundtable, my successor, and Magus from the Stars/ master of Chaldea. I was eagerly awaiting your arrival."

Fitoria placed her hand on her chest, inclining her head to them. "I am Fitoria, the Filoial Queen. I'm also this World's version Merlin," She smiles at the group. "A pleasure to meet you, all."

After a few moments of resting from the effects of Fitoria's Spell. The Filoial walks over to the group, seeing they're all rested. "Are you all rested now, everyone? The water here has properties that could cure anyone from fatigue." Fitoria said,

Ritsuka finished his drink before giving Pavel some more water. "I believe so," He looks around, receiving the cup from Pavel.

Melty smiles, holding her cup on her lap. "That was refreshing, I don't think I'd ever have something like that before." She turns to Filo, drinking a bunch of Water.

"GAH! That was good, Filo likes the water a lot!" Filo said before realizing there were a few People being left out of this. "Filo only wishes that master, Raphtalia-onee-chan, and everyone else could be here." She frowns, thinking about the others dealing with Heroic Knight Tristan's Forces.

"Hey now, we can always bring Water back with us, Filo," Castoria said, comforting Filo before eyeing the Magus of Flowers of this World. "Ain't that right, Merlin. Since this place is no longer a part of the Inner Sea."

Ritsuka and Galahad's eyes widen at what the Lostbelt said. "Wait, the Inner Sea!?" Ritsuka exclaims,

"Wait, do you mean to say that we actually entered-"

"Yep," Fitoria Merlin smiles, motioning to the small field of flowers with a small Lake that was pouring into a small cliff-like hole leading down the Mountain. On the edge of the cliff was a white Ruins with a pedestal. "This place is a piece of the Inner Sea, risen from the Planet, broken off from the rest of Paradise over a Hundred years ago. I have lost count after Fifteen Hundred Years, in any case, welcome to Avalon: The Ruins of Paradise."

Ritsuka looks at Galahad and Castoria, shocked by the Name Fitoria Merlin. "What do you mean this place is a piece of Avalon!? Isn't Avalon supposed to be underground? A literally Inner Sea?" The Magus asked, having questions about how Avalon managed to get to the surface.

"I'm curious as well, how can an untouchable Paradise become like this?" Galahad asked and also had many questions about this World.

Melty raised her hands, having some questions for Fitoria as well. "Um, Queen Fitoria-er or Merlin…"

"Fitoria Merlin, my dear." The Magus of Flowers told her the right way to address her.

"Right, Queen-I mean Lady Fitoria Merlin. Um, I'm sorry but what is Avalon?" Melty asked, never hearing anything about it in her lessons. "I mean I studied everything about the World and Myths, but I haven't heard about the Inner Sea or Avalon."

"Filo too, Filo too!" Filo raised her hand, jumping on the small Boulder. "What do you mean, Filo is your successor?" The Filoial asked the Magus.

Castoria also had a question for the Magus. "I do have a question too," She said, actually it's more of a scolding. "How come your name sounds similar to my name? Any reasons why, Merlin?" She asked the Filolial Queen.

Fitoria Merlin smiles at how Humanity's Final master was curious about their World's formation. "Excellent questions, everyone; but the answers you seek will be of another time." She said before noticing the young Child staying close to Ritsuka. "It's much too early for answer seeking. Hmm?" She hums, feeling a piercing glare.

Pavel glares at the White-haired Magus, not liking her at all. "I didn't expect you to bring a Child with you," Fitoria Merlin commented,

Ritsuka placed his hand on Pavel's back. "Pavel is a Child I'm looking after. I'm basically raising him." He smiles at Fitoria Merlin.

The young Demi-Human Child approaches the Filoial Queen. His blue eyes look up at the Magus.

"Yes? What can the great Fitoria Merlin help you?" Fitoria Merlin asked the young Boy traveling with the Foreign Magus.

Ritsuka looks at Pavel, seeing him acting strangely. "Pavel? Are you alright?" He asked the Demi-Human Child.

"I don't like you. I hate you, even Fou hates you, don't you talk to me." Pavel said, causing everyone to freeze to stone.

"Eh?"

"Fou, Fou," Fou nodded, sitting on his shoulders agreeing with Pavel's statement.
