Charlie was laying by a tree relaxing when suddenly Dizzy and DeeDee jumped on top of him bouncing up and down on his stomach.
"Come on Charlie."
"Come and play with us." Dizzy and DeeDee begged, to which Charlie giggled clutching them close.
"Sure why not."
"YAAAAAY!!!!" They both said hugging his face.
"Hide and seek?" Charlie asked which they nod in agreement, "I'll count you two hide." Charlie turned around and started to count. After saying ten he turn around to find them, "Now where did you two go." He asked loudly as he wandered through the park only to hear giggles coming from a dog tube, he smiled evily.
"He'll never find us in here."
"This is our best hiding spot."
"Where, oh where are you two at?" Charlie playfully asked wandering around the dog tube, Dizzy and DeeDee are trying there best not to give themselves away, when Suddenly... "BOOO!" Charlie popped his head in front of Dizzy and DeeDee, scaring them, and caused them to run out the other end of the tube laughing as they try to escape him, but before they could get very far he snatched them up, "Caught you two." He said which they both groan.
"Awwww you caught us!"
"Again, again!" Dizzy and DeeDee cheered as Charlie set them down
"Okay you two, now you got to find me, how hard is it to find a human." He smiles which made the two way there tail in excitement.
"Let's count Dizzy."
"Yeah we're gonna find you fast." They both ran to the tree and started to count. Charlie started to run and look for a place to hide and alot of spots were heavily small or too thin until he saw a trash can, perfect hiding spot especially when dogs have very good noses he was about jump in but noticed Dolly and Dylan playing with Fergus, as it seemed they were on trash can lids sliding off a railing and gliding over the huge pond.
"Huh, wonder what their doing." He said curiously as he decided to investigate.
WITH DOLLY, DYLAN, AND FERGUS
"RADICAL!" Dolly yelled out as she high fives Fergus, "Come on Dylan its your turn." She yelled across the pond to where a very nervous Dylan was a little frightened of doing it.
"Oh I dont know guys, is this water even contaminated, it could have bacteria, mebla, maybe even poo..." Dyaln nervously said before Dolly cut him off.
"Dude just roll with it." She said and pushed him onto the railing which he was screaming down into the pond and was gliding across the pond just as Charlie arrived.
"Hey Dolly." He waved to her, which she smiled back, but before she could say anything he noticed Dylan was in the middle of the pond.
"Wha uh H-hey this isnt so bad..." He said only to wobble and fall off into the pond resulting in Dolly, Charlie, and Fergus laughing.
"No relation what so ever." Dolly said to the Fergus.
"Blessed." He said with a smirk, "And speaking of relation." Fergus glanced over to see Charlie next to them.
"Hope I didn't intrude on you guys." Charlie said.
"Nah bro your fine, just watching Dylan take a dip into the pond." Dolly laughed as did Fergus.
"That definitely looks fun though, not so much for Dylan." Charlie snickered as Dylan dragged himself out of the pond.
"If I catch a cold I'm blaming you two." He stated and shook himself off.
"Agh, thanks Dylan just what I need a bath." Charlie complained which Dylan smiled shyly.
"Sorry." But before Charlie could say anything he was pounced on by two little pups and flung into the pond splashing everyone.
"Got you Charlie!"
"Yeah we found you." Dizzy and DeeDee giggled while licking there new best friend's cheeks.
"Haha okay you two, you got me." He looked up to see a soaked Dolly, Fergus and Dylan all with very angry faces, which he smiled with embarrassment, "We were playing hide and sneak." He explained which they all took, and shook themselves off, that's when Fergus laughed.
"Dylan, you really need to learn how express yourself with nature." He said which made a now soaked Charlie giggle.
"Yeah ok, I mean no offense Dylan but he's like a complete germ freak." Charlie stated which made Dolly giggle a little.
"Hey I am not." Dylan protested, to which everyone looked at him with disagreement including Dizzy and DeeDee which he sighed in defeat, "Ok maybe I am... but I enjoy nature."
"Speaking of nature, it looks like its gonna rain." Charlie looked up to the clouds.
"Oh this is perfect then... you know Dolly with the right training I could bring out Dylan inner wild side." Dylan wagged his tail on hearing that.
"Hmm I think he has the inners..." she got closed to Dylans face with a smirk, "of a Chihuahua."
"Or a mouse in my book." Charlie chimed in.
"Ooooh good one."
"Okay that is it..." Dylan put his foot down, "Fergus make me wild." He walked the two who were snickering at Dylan.
"You sure Dylan?" Charlie asked trying to keep a straight face with no avail.
"I'm sure, I'll show you two." He stopped in front of Fergus how held out his paw like a fist bump which Dylan tried to hit with no avail and landing on his face.
"Oh yeah right can I purchase tickets?" Dolly jokely said which Charlie giggled.
Fergus looked down at Dylan and smiled, "Let the wild training commence." He said as he and Dylan walked off to somewhere.
"Welp I better join them just in case, see you back at the house Dolly, you two stay with her." Chralie took off after them leaving Dizzy and Deedee to groan.
"Wait what..?" She looked and noticed that Charlie was gone just Dizzy and DeeDee, "Darn they left me on single pup care... oh well who needs them, come on you two let's get the rest."
"Okay Dolly."
"Right Dolly." Dizzy and Deedee said as they followed there big sister back to the rest.
"Do you really think Fergus can bring out Dylans inner wolf?" Dizzy asked Dolly who laughed.
"Yeah right that will be the day." She stated as she sprinted to gather the pups, followed by Dizzy and DeeDee.
WITH THE BOYS
Charlie was watching from a distance while Fergus and Dylan were rolling around in a flower garden, they seem to be more relaxing than trying to be wild untill the gardener spotted them, and was not happy with them messing up the flowers. Fergus took off while Dylan apologize for the flowers and ran behind Fergus, with Charlie laughing at them and walking behind them. They soon come up to a man taking a nap. Fergus pointed at him which Dylan understood what he wants him to do and that was to wake the man up. Charlie watch from sideline and chuckled to himself.
"This should be entertaining." He said as Dylan barked then hid hoping the man didn't jump which he didn't, Dylan barked again only louder with the same result. Dylan starts barking like crazy with the same result the man was still sleeping untill Fergus jumped in and screeched causing the man to jump up, at that point the two were already gone along with Charlie who was enjoying this moment. As they were running they saw pigeons which Charlie and Fergus both looked at each other and nodded and sprinted to the pigeons scaring them. Dylan joined in only to look up and to see angry birds staring at him.
"Hehe h-hey guys." He nervously said but the pigeons didn't care and flew down to attack poor Dylan, who was running away from them, Charlie and Fergus couldn't help but laugh as the pigeons chased after Dylan.
AT THE HOUSE
Dolly was taking care of the pups... Well in her own way which means lots of play time clearly driving everything into chaos. She was in the window watching the sky and noticed how dark they were getting.
"Oh I guess Charlie was right, it is gonna rain." She said before groaning, "That means these pups are gonna be jumpy." She stated with a worriedsome look, it's true puppies are scared to really loud noises especially during rain storms, and with this many pups it's gonna be hard to keep them relax. But she then noticed a familiar Dalmatian running from birds that were attacking him and she started to giggle, "Wild huh, yeah right." She laughed until Dawkins came to her side.
"Dolly, might I suggest that its nap time?" Dawkins asked who was trying to follow Dylans schedule.
"Nope, it's time for the PARK!!" She yelled out which the pups started to Chant.
"Oh Kibble." Dawkins said before getting trampled but everyone.
BACK AT THE PARK
"Alright now shoulders up, head down, back arched up, Show off them Fangs." Fergus instructed as he was trying to make Dylan look tough, "Show off the sway, be the sway." Fergus said and gives off a loud growl which Dylan did same, "Now your getting it your almost good enough to be in the crew." He stated as they were walking together being tough and all.
"Show the people who own this town Dylan!" Charlie cheered for him as he pulled out a fake Black widow spider on a web-like string and dangled it front of Dylan who immediately freaks out over it and runs back into a light pole, Charlie just rolled on the floor laughing, "Sighs fake Spider... gets him everytime." He said to Fergus. Dolly was there as well laughing at Dylan who was laying in front of the pole he just ran into.
"Your getting wild alright." She teased which he sat and made a completely sad look.
"Hey easy on the tease Dolly." Charlie laughed.
"And besides he's learning fast." Fergus chipped in.
"See." Dylan smiled, "So hows solo pup care going?"
"Hmmmmm crushing it." Dolly said before getting dogged piled by the Pups with Dorothy landing on top of them which she giggles.
"Chawy!!!" She yells out and put her arms up to be hugged by him.
"Awww my wittle pwecous thing did you take a Nappy Wappy?" She shook her head, resulting in Charlie looking down at Dolly with a angry look, to which she gave innocent smile. "You need your nap or you be Vewy Cwanky baby." He told her which she started to lick his face in response, "Haha ok ok I miss you too." He put her down and looked back at Fergus and Dylan.
"Alright you two time to meet the Canal Crew."
"The who?" Charlie asked.
"You'll see, now come one follow me." Dylan followed Fergus which Charlie was about but out of the corner of his eye he saw something it looked like a cat, but there was no time to see he had to follow Dylan and keep an eye on him.
AT THE CANAL
The three boys walked to the Canal as if they owned it, Fergus was leading when he stopped in front of two animals.
"You rember Sid Squirrel, aka Fifty Nut!!" He pointed to the wall where a portrait of what this squirrel used to be, strong, muscular and well headed, but now... well he basically the opposite skinny and basically crazed, "And can't forget Big Fee, aka Big Fee." Next to the squirrel was a rat who seems to have a tattoo oh her one arm.
"Oh boy, Fergus and his Band of Misfits." Charlie jokingly whispered to Dylans ear.
"You two think your wild enough?!" Big Fee asked.
"Walkies on the Wildside?" Sid asked.
"You think your ready Dylan?" Charlie asked him which Dylan nodded in response.
"Alright then let's get this party started." Fergus stated and off the group went. All through the night they were basically pranks nothing too serious, Big Fee stood at a door ready to enter which Fergus pushed the door in and she ran in scaring everybody in there, it was funny yes but something bothered Charlie a lot. Next, they ran up to a boat house. Sid ran and knocked on the door and came back to watch the lady open the door and be confused, Big Fee was next and did the same thing, which the lady was getting annoyed. Everyone was laughing at this point.
"You ready to join?" Big Fee asked which Dylan looks Nervous but gets pushed out to do it, he took a deep breath and went for it. Instead he slid and hit a plant base almost knocking it over which the gang were freaking out think he was gonna mess it up, Dylan manage to save himself and the plant only to get smacked with the and flown into the Canal. As he pulls himself up he has a proud look on his face but had a fish biting his tail.
"Dylan." Everyone said and was laughing which Dylan was laughing as well. As Big Fee pulled the fish off of him Fergus came up.
"Now to free the last part of your boring household life." He stated and pointed to Dylan's collar.
"Woah woah woah hang on..." Everyone stopped to look at Charlie, "You serious about this?"
"Of course we are, how else would he bring out his inner wild." Fergus said looking at Dylan who gulped and looked at Charlie who sighed and nodded telling him to take it off. As Dylan was taking his collar off it started to downpour, he placed his collar in a puddle with a sad face but wiped it off with a proud wild smirk of appreciation, "Welcome to the Canal Crew Dylan." Fergus announced, "Aka D-DOG!!!" Dylan was part of the gang and was proud of it, Charlie on the other hand wasn't so happy but before he could say anything Dylan's stomach growled.
"Sounds like someone's hungry." Charlie stated.
"And if that wasn't the dinner bell I don't know what." Fergus remarked as he bro hugged Dylan, "Come one gang let's see if dinner has arrived." He signaled as the gang followed him Charlie was getting really frustrated, all this just to prove to Dolly, he's got an inner wild side. He was lagging behind clearly not wanting to hang out with them when something caught his eye, a cat drench in the rain looking for food, but something was familiar about the cat.
[Charlie's Thoughts]
'It cant be is it..?'
Charlie pulled out his phone and went to the picture that he had saved on his phone. It was a cat wearing a collar with a bell and the cat was orange with a tan underbelly. The stray cat is the same way except without the collar, only one way to find out. As he walked up to the cat he noticed that the cat was beaten up pretty badly, even limping on one leg, "Hey there." He said, to which the cat jumped and started to run, "Wait I'm not here to hurt you I promise." He said as he ran after the cat who went into an alleyway.
"Stay back!!" She yelled and and started to growl.
"Easy girl easy... I'm not here to hurt you." Charlie said as he got closer.
"Don't come any closer I swear I will hurt you." She warned and started to real back.
"I know who you are Cindy." This stopped the cat from pouncing.
"H-How you k-know my name?" She asked.
"Your boyfriend Deepak told me all about you." This made her eyes widen.
"Deepak? My Deepak?" She asked and Charlie nodded in response, "You're lying."
"Alright, is this Deepak?" Charkie pulled his phone and show her a picture of Deepak posing like a cat. She couldn't believe it her one true love.
"Deepak..." She cried out, "Oh Deepak why did this had to happen to us."
"What happened?"
"Its hard to explain." She said which she drooped her ears down with sadness.
"I'm all ears." Charlie sat down next to her and comfort her.
"Well... its well... when we first met I thought everything was perfect, how he treated me was like... like a queen, like a true girlfriend, even when we made out I felt like the world had froze up for us and we could stay like that forever... but." She started to tear, "I-I-I t-thought to m-myself W-what am I d-doing I c-cant love a d-dog..."
"So you had to take off and never return." Charlie said which she nodded her head with sadness.
"I-I t-thought it was best way."
"Your wrong." This made her look up to him.
"What do you mean?"
"Deepak showed me the picture, showed me your collar, told me about how secretly changed him, he still loves you and he held onto your stuff all this." Charlie stated which made Cindy's heart race.
"H-he still loves me after all this time?" She asked.
"Absolutely you are his everything I can tell by how he looked at the photo Cindy you have to go back and embrace him."
"I dont know if I can." Charlie got close and held her close.
"I'll be there for both of you I promise." This made Cindy very happy and she started to purr away.
"Thank you..."
"Charlie."
"Thank you Charlie I guess not all humans are bad." She giggled as she embraced Charlie with his gentle hands.
"Anytime. Look I'm gonna head home because all this wildlife is ridiculous... whenever you're ready just head for the house." Charlie said as he ran off for home, while Cindy sat there with hearts around her eyes and with a wobbly walk.
[Cindy's thoughts]
'He still loves me... Oh Deepak you handsome goofball.'
BACK WITH THE CANAL CREW
Fergus, Sid, and Big Fee were able to steal food from people at a bus stop and were running back to Dylan who had a worried look on his face.
"You wanna eat?" Big Fee asked.
"You gotta cheat." Sid explain and pointed to a guy eating a burger. Dylan looked on with determination, and walked over to the guy. As he was super close to the guy he looked back at the crew who were watching in awe on what he was gonna do. The man was just about to bite into his burger when he heard whimpering, he looked down to see a pup begging for food.
"Awww, you hungry mate?" He asked before holding out his sandwich, "Here." He said as Dylan wagged his tail in excitement and took a bite out of the man's burger. Fergus and his crew cheered as Dylan came back chewing with a happy look... well until he opened his mouth to reveal a patch of lettuce on his tongue.
"Ugh lettuce, mortal enemie of beef." Big Fee said as Dylan spitted out the lettuce.
BOOM
Thunder could be heard and Dylan jumped in the air like crazy.
"Woah D-Dog dont tell me your afraid of thunder." Fergus smirked.
"W-wha ha, me? No i-its scares... the pups which I hope Dolly is taking care of them... also where's Charlie..?"
OUTSIDE THE DALMATIAN RESIDENCE
Charlie ran all the back to the house, the storm was getting worse and worse thunder and lighting could be seen and heard he needed to hurry and get to the house as soon as he could, especially with scared puppies, one thing that got him upset is seeing the puppies all scared even Deepak can't calmed them down. As he reached the house a smile was formed on his face home sweet home. As he turned the knob and entered the house he noticed how its completely quiet and dark, this really worried him.
"H-hello?" He asked but nothing, not a sound. He looked at the basement and thought that would be best to look there. As he headed downstairs he could a small whimper coming from the room which quicken his pace. As he got to the basement he would see who was whimpering Da-Vinci she was hiding underneath her pillow.
"Da-Vinci." Charlie said which got her attention and her expression changed from scared to absolute joy.
"Charlie!" She excitedly said and ran to him which they hugged.
"Oh Da-Vinci, are you alright?" He asked her which she licked his cheek in response.
"I was so scared Charlie." She said with sad eyes.
"Oh you poor thing." Charlie hugged her and comforted her to make her feel safe which she blushed heavily, "Wheres everyone else?" He asked.
"All upstairs in your room they thought they be safer there." She explained.
"Well let's go see if we can calm them down." Charlie suggested as they headed up the stairs to his room.
As Charlie and Da-Vinci entered his room he can see that Dolly was "trying" to calm them down by singing a song.
"Thunder can be funder, lightning it's not frightening its exciteding." She sang and did a small posed, which all the pups just looked at her with very confused faces, until another boom of thunder was heard, causing all the pups to jump and hold onto Dolly.
"Hey, Dolly seems you having trouble." Charlie said as he walked into the room, but before she could answer she lifted her ear to hear something and opened up the window to hear better. After a few minutes of listening she relayed a message back.
"Yes Dylan the pups are fine dont worry about us." She yelled out and closed the window.
"Yep clearly your doing a swell job keeping them calm down." Charlie remark which Dolly sighed in annoyance.
"Shes been doing everything wrong." Dawkins spoke up under a pillow.
"What you mean."
"She hasn't been following our schedules from nap time to basically having a buffet." Dawkins explained very angrily.
"Dolly this true?" He looked at her and he could she wanted to denie it.
"W-well uh I-I d-dont know." She stuttered.
"Dolly your not in trouble." Charlie said.
"Wait... I'm not?" Everyone looked at him.
"No you did the schedule perfectly fine you just did it in your own way." He smiled which made Dolly sigh in relief.
"Thank Dog."
"But it seems your having some trouble." Another boom of thunder was heard and pups all jumped to either Dolly or Charlie.
"Easy everyone easy shhhh its gonna be okay." Charlie said which calmed down some of them.
"How do you do that?" Dolly asked.
"Oh, it's all in the way you talk to them remember they're kids, not teenagers." Charlie explained while picking up a random pup, "You have to be patient and gentle with them." as soon as he said that another boom of thunder was heard causing the pups to panic again.
"We need Dylan..." Charlie said to Dolly who nodded, Dylan would know what to do in this type of situation.
"DAWKINS YOUR IN CHARGE!!!" Dolly yelled and took off out the door along with Charlie.
"Oh kibble." Dawkins said in disappointment as the pups literally dog piled him with hugs.
"Ok where was the last place he was?"
"We were walking from the Canal and..." Charlie stopped dead and realized something, "He Took Off His Collar!!!" He yells.
"HE WHAT!?"
"ARGH I knew he shouldn't take that collar off now will never know where he's at he could be anywhere... unless."
"Unless what?"
"I think I might know where they are Come on he have to make a pitstop first." Charlie said as he ran off into the direction of where he left them with Dolly following close behind him.
MEANWHILE AT THE CANAL
Poor Dylan, he has had a really bad day today first the food he ate was horrible, and getting soaked by cars didn't help, and now he is freezing. He's been trying to sleep for who know how long but when he finds a spot water drips on his nose waking him up. He was getting really frustrated until he spotted something a small house boat just floating on the water.
[Dylans Thoughts]
'This is such a mistake but I need to get warm argh fuck this wild lifestyle.'
Dylan eyes widen at what he just said he never cursed before well not out loud, actually he never really cursed at all guess he's very frustrated with what he has to go through. Dylan got up and headed over to the boat house and looked inside, and was amazed at how cozy and warm it looked, theres just one problem...
Its filled with cats...
Dylan winced alittle.
'Arg Dog Damit why does it have to be Cats... no it doesn't matter I need to get dry and warm.'
Dylan opened the window and slid into the house. As soon as he did that his entire body felt like it was hit by a truck of sickness his was getting red, and snot came out of his nose, but he didn't care he was finally getting warm. Meanwhile, outside, a soaked Dolly and Charlie ran up to the sleeping gang.
"FERGUS!!" Dolly yelled causing Fergus, Sid, And Big Fee to jump.
"Oh hey Dolly, what you doing out here?"
"Where's Dylan?! We need him."
"He's right he..." Fergus looked over and noticed Dylan wasn't there which he started to panic, "Where'd he go?"
"If I know Dylan he probably gone in there." Charlie pointed to the boat house.
"Good thinking." Dolly said and ran to the window to look inside. There on a rug was a very snotty dog without a collar trying to go to sleep. Dolly saw him and taped the window to get his attention, which it did.
"Dolly?" He asked to himself and went to the window, "W-what are you doing here?"
"We came to get you, we need your help the pups are just not calming down." Charlie chiped in explaining.
"Oh really." He said with a angry face.
"Look bro I'm sorry I shouldn't have pushed you." Dolly said which she started to get teary eyes.
"No no it's okay Dolly I wasn't liking this life anyway." This made Dolly's tail wag with excitement.
"So you ready to go home Little Bro?" Charlie asked which Dylan nodded his head. But before he could get out the rope snapped off the boar house causing it float away.
"THE BOATHOUSE!!!" Charlie yelled out as he, Fergus, and Dolly ran after the House.
"DOLLY!"
"DYYYLAN!!" Dolly screamed out.
"Dylan We can't run Any Faster See If You Find A Way to Slow It Down!!" Charlie yelled out which made Dylan think.
'How do I stop this, how do I stop this?.. I could jump out... the windows Locked and door I cant reached... maybe no theres nothing heavy enough...' Dylan looked at the lady and sighed only one way to get out. He got down low and started barking like mad which alerted everyone in the boat house all the cats are jumping and the lady freaking out.
"RABID FLEABAG!!!" The lady screamed and kicked Dylan out of her house. Which he landed into the Canal but was quicken brought up by Charlie.
"Dylan are you alright?" Charlie asked him which he coughed up water and sneezed on the ground.
"I-I'm fine." He said as he started to gain back from his allergies, Dolly hugged him.
"Thank goodness Bro, I'm glad you're okay." She said with a large smile which Dylan was happy to see.
"That was some rescue there... so D-Dog you think your ready to continue your wildlife?" Fegus asked.
"No thanks... I mean sure it was fun and all but... a hundred and one Dalmatian Street is all the wild I need." He looked back at Dolly and Charlie who both had big smiles.
"Well to make it official Dylan..." Charlie got down to Dylans level, "We need to put this on." He held out Dylans collar which he jumped with joy and letted Charlie do the honors.
"Welcome back little Bro." Charlie hugged Dylan who hugged back, "but he have to hurry Dawkins cant handle those pups by himself." Dylan realized that they left the pups all scared like.
"We gotta get there like a Horse on Steriods." Charlie joked and took took off followed by Dylan and Dolly.
"Do you still trust that human?" Big Fee asked Fergus.
"Big Fee, if Dolly can trust him, then I trust him, plan and simple." He smiled.
