Artemis POV

Dinner was great. I mean like what beats burgers! Me and my hunters laughed and joked the whole time. We were all joyed at having our first burgers in months. As we finished, I looked to my left and saw Perseus, all by himself, not eating. Even if I wasn't happy that he was our guardian, I still felt some pity for him. Poor Perseus had been wronged by his love, then nearly killed, and now was starving. I couldn't let him die. If I did, Posideon would rage. Frowning, I asked him, "why haven't you ate, Perseus?" Perseus turned around and saw me asking. He looked confused, but quickly hid it. I wonder why he was confused.

"Millady," Perseus began. "Lady Hesita only gave me the power to create food for others. I cannot create food for myself." First, I felt sorrow for him, then pity, then anger!

"These were part of your chores Perseus. If you didn't cook yourself food, it means that your chores are incomplete! Eat the scraps of food then!" Perseus got up, and cleaned every scrap left. Even after, he still like looked starved to death. Now that we had all eaten a nice dinner, it was free time for 2 hours, before bed.

When I looked around, I saw that Perseus was eyeing me, and shifting on his feet, wanting to ask me something. I walked up to him.

"Millady, I was wondering if I could please go for a walk for a while," Perseus asked.

"Fine," I said. "But only for one hour." As he headed off, a hunter named Gabrielle yelled out, "And don't bring back any poison or Lady Artemis will definitely hang your head." They all snickered at this. Without saying a word, he turned around and melted into the trees. I too, turned around and went back to my tent. Well today has been an eventful day!

Over the next week, Perseus started waking up earlier and earlier, and completed all his chores. However, he still mysteriously disappeared after Dinner everyday, still asking for my permission every time. I always gave it to him, partly out of pity, and partly out of the fact that he needed time to relax. When I woke up on a Monday, there was a note on my bedside table. Tired, I got up to read it.

Meeting today at 8am. Be on time. Bring Perseus. I will see you there.

Groaning, I got up. It was sleep-in Sunday! The one day when I got a break, my dad had to ruin by calling a meeting. After I had changed into my clothes, I walked up to Perseus's tent and knocked.

"Come in," said a broken voice. I entered and saw Perseus facing the opposite direction from me.

"My father has called a meeting, and you are to be there. Meet me by the archery center in 10 minutes." I left before he could persuade me to let him stay here. When I got back, I simply lay on my bed, trying to get a few more minutes of rest before I had to go to the meeting. Hopefully, it won't be too bad.

I woke up at 7:57. 7:57! The meeting would start in 3 minutes. Besides, poor Perseus must've been waiting for me for half an hour. I ran out of the tent and bumped straight into Thalia.

"Milady-" I cut her off.

"Emergency meeting in Olympus. I am taking Perseus and will be back in 1 hour.!" I ran straight to the archery center, where Perseus was waiting. He smirked when he saw me running up to him, breathless and flustered.

"Sorry I'm late," I said, while touching his shoulder and flashing him right into the Olympian throne room. When we arrived, all the other Olympians were already there, and I was the last one. Feeling embarrassed, I silently went to my throne and sat on it. Perseus, on the other hand, simply stayed in the middle, wondering why everyone had called him. After and awkward few minutes, in which Posideon and Father had a very fierce, but hushed argument, Father's voice boomed, as he told Perseus why he was there.

"What we will do to you now is non-negotiable, Perseus," Father said to him. He merely nodded, obviously not paying full attention to what was going on.

"Perseus. Today, you will be made a God, and the 13th Olympian!"
