Percy POV

"Perseus. Today, you will be made a God, and the 13th Olympian!" Great, I thought to myself. This was the exact position that I did not want to be in. I wanted to be a human and live a normal life, but obviously the fates couldn't let that happen.

"No," I said. "Once again, I am thankful for your offer, but I would just like to have a normal life, or as normal a life as a demi-god can have." Zeus was just about to say something when the most surprising thing happened. From the other side of the throne room, Lady Aphrodite laughed. She laughed at me! Why?

"You are just soooo cute, Percy Jackson," she said, after she had stopped giggling. "Please explain to the council how in your 18 years as a demi-god, you've had anything close to a normal life. At 16, you fought and beat 2 titans. At 17, you helped beat a primordial god, Gaia the earth goddess. Then, you suffered pain as so many harsh words were carved into your body. After, you tried to kill yourself. Then, you get assigned as the hunters guardian which is the worst role for a male as Artemis skins them alive for fun." At this, Artemis's face went red and she seemed to mutter something.

"Finally," Aphrodite continued, "That Athena spawn breaks your heart and runs off with some other male so how in Hades is your…" Aphrodite's voice trailed off because I dropped to the floor, fresh pain in my heart as I was reminded of my last night with Annabeth. I sat down on the floor, and cried. Why would Aphrodite be so harsh? Aphrodite seemed to realise her mistake and stepped off her throne. She came to me and hugged me. I hugged her back harder.

"Shhhh, it's okay now," she whispered soothingly into his ear. "No one will hurt you here."

At that, I broke down completely, and cried so hard, burying my face into her shoulder.

Artemis POV

Aphrodite was hugging Perseus. WHY WAS I FEELING SO JEALOUS? I shouldn't care about what would happen to a boy. Perseus cried into Aphrodite's shoulder, and we gave them some space. She eventually helped him up, and he walked towards my father.

"I will accept partial immortality, like the hunters have," Perseus told my father.

"So you can just run off and kill yourself," Aphrodite started angrily. "I don't think so. You will become an-" Father cut her off.

"Seeing as Perseus is currently the guardian of the hunt, we will give him partial immortality for the time being. This way, he can still learn to value life, while still being half-mortal. His domains will be given to him shortly, but he will not have a throne, sacred animal or symbol of power yet. When he finishes his time with the hunt, he will be given these along with a rightful place in the Olympian council. All in favour?" Everyone put their hands up, which was surprising because the council almost never agreed on something. "The council has decided Perseus." Perseus sighed.

"Very well Lod Zeus," Perseus said. "However, please can I ask for one favour," Perseus asked.

"Okay then," Father told him. "We will grant you your last wish." I wondered what it was going to be. Probably something selfish like more riches or more fame. Honestly males were so predictable. However, what he asked for made me so shocked, I didn't believe my ears.

"Firstly, I would like Lady Hesita and Lord Hades to have thrones here in Olympus and to also join the council," he said, leaving everyone in the throne room with shocked faces. He chose something so that 2 people he had barely ever spoken to could benefit! He was unlike all the other males I had seen. Father nodded at him.

"That can be arranged," he said, and he clapped his hands. When he did, 2 thrones sprouted out from the ground. One was jet black, with skulls on the back and jewels for armrests. The other was flame red. Father then called Hades and Hesita to Olympus. When they saw what had, they too both went wide eyed. First, Hesita went to Percy and gave him a hug. She was so happy, there were tears in her eyes.

"Thank you so much Percy. You have such a kind heart, I don't know how Annabeth could have left you." After, she went and sat on her throne next to Demeter. Hades came next, and surprised us all by giving Perseus a hug too. Hades never showed any affection towards anyone, with the exception of Persephone and his children.

"You truly are a good person, and I will make sure you never see the fields of punishment, let alone feel their wrath." He sat down next to Poseidon.

"I also want one last favour," Perseus asked. Father nodded, grudgingly.

"I want Leto to be freed from her imprisonment." This one left both me and Apollo in shell shock. This male was freeing MY mother from her prison. I hadn't seen her since I was born, and now, Perseus had freed her. Hermes flashed out and came back 1 minute later with mother. This male was the best male ever to walk the earth.

Percy POV

At that moment, the three fates appeared, just when Leto had arrived, before the twin archers had even been able to say hello. They floated in the air, and spoke in synch.

"All hail Lord Perseus Jackson, god of heroes, battles and time, slayer of Gaia and Kronos, closer of the doors of death, survivor of Tartarus, finder of the Master Bolt, son of Lord Poseidon, god of the sea and the 14th Olympian," the fates told everyone. I was speechless. Time. I was the lord of time! I had the same domain as one of the Primordials! The power I had now. Along with heroes and battles, well I wasn't surprised when I saw Zeus's scared face. After that, Every god, along with the fates each blasted me with a beam of light, and after, I felt very powerful. The fates took one last look at me, then flashed away. For a moment, their was silence. Then, Artemis and Apollo both ran to their mum and hugged her tight. They were in their 10 year old form, and were obviously excited at seeing their mum for the second time ever. Apollo came up to me and said,"Percy Jackson, you are a true hero with a true heart. Thank you so much for freeing my mother." I nodded and smiled back, happy for him. I looked at Artemis smiling to herself.

Artemis POV

That male is amazing. I need to properly say thank you to him!
