Chapter 2
Annabeth's POV
I fell asleep next to Percy, just thinking of his name makes me warm inside. He had his arm around me, and I was wearing his new blue shirt with wave patterns on me and he smiled when I put it on. As I was laying there I thought, 'he's cute when he isn't talking so much.'
When I started dreaming, I saw what appeared to be an underwater castle with big pillars the color of green and blue. I looked beside me and say my amazing boyfriend Percy and next to him stood his father Poseidon, his godly father was showing him the layout of the palace when he turned to me and said,
"Someday you will share this kingdom with my son" Poseidon said.
When I looked around, I saw how beautiful it was, great white sharks would swim by making me grab onto Percy's arm and he would laugh only to get slapped by me. I saw humpback whales and sea turtles and schools of fish of many colors like blue, yellow, green and so forth.
"Wouldn't you like to live here Wise Girl" Percy said.
"I'd want to live anywhere you want to" I said
He smiled gently and took my hand which sent a shock throughout my body, I turned to him and we kissed, a passionate kiss without kids running around and staring and us. This time it was just us, holding each other while no one looks. Well, almost no one, Poseidon stopped the kiss by clearing his throat. When we pulled apart I felt like all the air had left my body like it was pushed out of me. I realized that I wasn't drowning. I turned to Percy and asked him,
"How am I not drowning?" I asked.
"For the time being my dad allowed you to breath underwater" he said. "I'm surprised it took you this long to notice that."
As I looked around, I took in how intricate the designs were. As an architect, I could fully appreciate how much detail there was in how the palace was being constructed.
"What else do you think is missing Annabeth" Poseidon asked.
"You really want my opinion" I asked.
"Of course, why wouldn't I, since this will be your guys' home once you get married" Poseidon said.
"Father, you weren't supposed to tell her that last part" Percy told his father.
"She won't remember, she thinks this is a dream anyways."
"Wait this isn't a dream?" I asked.
"Of course, why wouldn't it be" Poseidon said.
"Father of my gods can you please stop talking for a moment." Percy said to Poseidon.
Poseidon shot Percy a look that made me back a way a little.
"Just this once I'll stop son but just this once. Anyways back to what I was saying, Annabeth what do you think is missing from this perfect paradise" Poseidon asked.
"It needs more people especially children."
"Well, I guess we'll all have to work on that right Percy. I might give you some more siblings to play with who knows."
He winked at Percy before swimming away to check on the progress on the game room.
"What was that about?" I asked Percy.
"Don't worry about it it's all taken care of."
He turned to me and took hold of both my hands before giving me an underwater kiss like we did so long ago.
