Chapter 6

Annabeth POV

It had already been two days since Percy and I spend the day with our parents and it was the best day I could have ever asked for. But then last night I had the worst dream.

In my dream Percy and Luke were fighting. I tried to speak but my voice would not work. They were not fighting over the fate of the world but something much more important.

"She's too good for you" Luke said as he punched Percy.

"She's my girlfriend and nothing is going to stand between me and her especially a loser like you" Percy said as he kicked him into a canyon.

As soon as I woke up, I looked to see if Percy was there. He was over taking a shower, as soon as he got out which was only a couple minutes later, he came to me and saw that something was troubling me.

"What's wrong Anna" he asked.

"I had a nightmare that you and Luke were fighting over who loved me more and obviously you won."

"You know I would always protect you from those that would take you away from me" he said.

Knowing that he was right, I took a quick shower, dried off, and preceded to get dressed for the day. I put on a pair of shorts that were just short enough for the regulation and a gray shirt with an owl on the front.

Percy had a pair of shorts on as well, even better we had matching shirts which I found interesting considering he didn't like wearing gray, but I smiled anyways because I love him.

We walked around the campground holding hands which made me blush because everyone would come up to us and yell, "Mr. and Mrs. Jackson." Percy squeezed my hand as he laughed nervously.

"What do you want to do SeaWeed brain" I asked.

"Anything that you would let me do" he said.

So, we walked to the beach, were we had our first underwater kiss so many years before. We sat on the nice cool sand while I played with his messy hair.

After we sat on the sand, Percy turned to me and asked, "It's about breakfast Anna, why don't we join the others" he said.

"Come to think of it I am actually pretty hungry" I said.

As we were walking towards the pavilion, Grover, Percy's best friend, came running out of the woods with his girlfriend Juniper.

"Percy how have you guys been" he asked.

"We're doing pretty good man we just got done hanging by the water enjoying the peace and quiet before things get crazy."

"Why don't you two join us, it could be a double date to breakfast" I said.

"Actually, someone else is going to join us" Grover said.

Before I could say anything, I heard a booming voice that echoed along the valley.

"Big brother!" Tyson yelled.

Percy turned around and was tackled by his brother who was with his girlfriend Ella the harpy.

When Percy was finally able to breathe again, he turned to all of us and said, "should we get going to get breakfast now."

"Tyson is very hungry, no-good food in the ocean except peanut butter sandwiches."

Without any delay, we all grabbed our boyfriends/girlfriends' hands and started going to the campsite where we could eat breakfast. My boyfriend kept looking at me like something was wrong but instead he leaned in and gave me a kiss.

"Percy everyone is watching us" I said.

"Let them watch, this is our date too," he finished his sentence with another kiss which made me blush even more. I looked around and saw the other campers looking at us and smiling amongst themselves. We finished our kiss and joined the others when we saw someone we hadn't seen in a long time.
