Thalia POV

This could a funny sight. I mean if the all man-hating goddess, Artemis, cuddling up with Perseus, the same person she had attempted to assassinate for false accusations, well you've got to be insane to not find it funny. Perhaps Aphrodite's plan just might work. Aaaah Aphrodite's epic plan. How did I find out about it? Indeed, Artemis can be very secretive with me and not tell me many things. If Artemis ever fell in love, I would be shocked if she told me. So naturally, she didn't. That left Aphrodite to fill me in with all of the details.

Earlier Toady…

The creeks are my favourite place to cool down and just think. No one ever came here, so it was a perfect relaxation place. The walk to the creek wasn't too long. It takes me about 5 minutes. I found it on the second day at this camp, nearly 2 months ago. We moved camps every few months, and in each one, I always managed to find some relaxation area. Right now, it's a creek. Perhaps that's just the gods mocking me, showing me how close, yet far I am from Perseus, the boy who I wanted to call a brother.

When I got there, I realised one thing. I was not alone. Immediately, I was remembering all the ways I boys looked at me, and the way I looked at some of them: with lust. There is only one being who has the power to do so.

Aphrodite.

Being a hunter means many things. You learn new things, eat new things and live a different life. One of the new things I have learned is CODE PINK. You see, Artemis hates Aphrodite, and I mean HATES HATES her. Therefore, she decided to teach us what to do when Aphrodite comes to us. Hence the name, CODE PINK.

Straight away, I did a 180 degrees rotation and started walking back to base. Honestly, the last thing I needed was to get a little bit frisky and have a late one. That would give me the boot. I hadn't walked more than 10 steps before Aphrodite decided to reveal herself in all her… glory?

Usually, she would wear something skimpy and try to expose as much skin as possible. This time, however, the only skin I could see was her face, and it had no makeup! Aphrodite ALWAYS wore makeup, even when she slept! (At least Artemis said that) Right now, she wasn't, so that made me pause in my tracks. This was all Aphrodite needed.

"I don't want to do anything to you!" she quickly said to me. "I just need to speak to you about Artemis."

"What about her?" I asked defensively. Even if she isn't nice to everyone, Artemis still is my mistress and I would NEVER let someone back-bite about her. Aphrodite seemed to be looking at me as if she was reconsidering her thoughts on talking to me. I was too, not gonna lie. She could force me to go crazy in a second, but I felt like she wouldn't, don't ask me why.

"I'm about to tell you a secret so big, that it will make your jaw drop down to the underworld. Can I trust you?"

"Most likely not, but tell me anyway." She looked at me sceptically. After a while, she heaved a sigh.

"Very well. Now listen carefully."

And she told me everything.

Back To The Present

It might've worked, but it all depends on whether or not Artemis had slept with Percy. I had left her last night just before she had gone to sleep, while she was massaging Perseus. Walking to the tent, I was wondering what Percy's reaction would be. I found my answer shortly, by the way, the ground rumbled.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING ARTEMIS!" his voice bellowed.

Now I am SO sorry about the length of this. The next one will be longer, and much more interesting. I will post the next one in this week too, as an apology!
